I went in to get a forearm tattoo from Sparrow, and I have nothing but good things to say about the experience. He was incredibly professional, as well as very communicative and helpful in discussing exactly what I wanted, while also giving recommendations on how to personalize my tattoo design for me. Constantly made sure I was okay and frequently reminded me that we could take breaks at any point if needed. The other staff I talked to were incredibly nice and helpful as well. Absolutely in love with the tattoo I got, he’s a wonderful artist and I highly, HIGHLY recommend the service here :)

I recently got 2 tattoos with Jay and I am telling you, I couldnt be obsessed with his work. I was having a hard time designing a memorial tattoo for my grandmother who recently passed, and I just couldnt imagine anything that would be acceptable to honor her. Jay drew up something based on my ideas, and it blew my mind. He has such a light hand and was so easy to get along with. What an amazing asset for Howl tattoo to have. His work is amazing. These 2 pieces have by far been my best and thats because of Jay. I will definitely be booking more appointments with him.

I drove 2.5 hours to get my tattoo at Howl Tattoos, With Jay Gardner. I’m familiar with him because he tattood multiple family members that were also returning customer. I wasnt sure what to expect nor was i 100 percent on exactly where to put my piece and what details to include. But Jay Gardner put me at ease and did an amazing piece for me and i’ll definitely be back to get more work done. Very professional and i was very comfortable the whole way through. Great experience and i HIGHLY recommend.

Jay Gardner is a phenomenal artist. Very professional, great communicator, really puts his all into his art pieces. Jay’s station is very clean, and has a light hand when tattooing. I suggest going to Jay if you choose howl tattoo! We had our first session on a half sleeve kitsune fox. I am beyond impressed with the attention to detail and clean line work. After this is finished I will definitely be back to see him again!

I had a tattoo here done by Erin, and Im absolutely in love with how it turned out. He was awesome, and was able to adapt to some last minute alterations. The details are crisp, including the super fine lettering, and the gradients in the tattoo are beautiful. Ive gotten plenty of complements, and many of my friends that are much more tatted up than I am were impressed with the quality and level of detail. Ill definitely be recommending him to others and returning in the future!

Howls Tattoo&Piercing is amazing!! they are overall a great shop to come visit by if your in the fort myers or cape area. They are clean and a friendly place. I went to get a tattoo for my first-time and my artist was Sparrow. He definitely is someone you should go to for your first and next tattoo. He is an awesome artist who created a design that I will probably love forever. I overall had a great experience with him as I was a little nervous about my first tattoo but he made me feel comfortable and even talked to me which actually helped me get through the tattoo alot easier. I was able to enjoy the experience at Howls and with sparrow and can definelty recommend to anyone looking for a tattoo.

The website says no piercings, but they have JAZZ now and she is honestly the nicest, sweetest and best piercer I have had. Go see her!

Today i went in for a tattoo being unsure. Sparrow did my tattoos and did AMAZINGGGGG! I’m so in love with them. The fine lines were done incredibly well and the energy he gave off was even better. Went here for the first time today with a friend and had a great time. the actual shop itself was really interesting and had a lot of cool decorations. Sparrow was our artist and he was awesome. really glad we came in today.

Great experience getting tattooed by Kris and my girl by Andy. Both have a really good vibe and made us feel comfortable. The gallery itself is very welcoming as is all the staff. Definitely somewhere I plan to return to for more work and recommend to friends.

I went to Howl for my first tattoo ever. I was nervous about the rib placement as a first timer, but Kris absolutely nailed it. He was also really patient if I needed a break or a drink of water. Super mellow dude with great stories. I hope to come back when I’m in town again!

Wow! Thats just one word to wrap up my experience with HOWL. My wife and I both got our ribs tattooed by Jay. He had a very gentle hand and was quick and does a GREAT job. Made both of us feel very comfortable as well. We both love our tattoos and I have an appointment set for my next with him. The shop is also VERY cool and clean.Update:Second tattoo has been completed by Jay and I absolutely am ECSTATIC with the outcome! This one was a coverup of a tattoo that definitely was not my favorite. It was on my right calf and it ended up a good size. Jay was a trooper and we completed this in one session. Again, would 100% reccomend Jay to anyone! He has a KILLER grasp on color and I couldnt be happier!

I loved his honesty about desired designs and was so friendly and willing to help alter and suggest new designs and locations. The entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable and made you feel comfortable. This shop is very cool and clean!! If Im in the area again, I will definitely make it a point to go to HOWL for another tattoo! We called ahead as we werent sure of availability and able to get in within an hour.

Ive gotten a tattoo from Kris and pierced by Megan on two separate visits, and I wont be going anywhere else ever again! The staff are all knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have. The shop is always clean and they often have crazy fun events going on, plus they serve alcohol. I trust that theyll always do a great job, no matter what youre looking for. I plan on bringing my little sister here for her tattoo when she turns 18!

Uninviting, nonchalant, and unprofessional. If you want amazing, attentive, professional customer service DO NOT come here! The cashier/receptionist is rude and gave zero F#%@s that she made a scheduling mistake. instead of apologizing and fixing the problem kreakel (tattoo artist) and the receptionist dismissed me like it was my fault and offered to reschedule with a different artist the following week. I waited all week to get this done and to be treated the way I was is unacceptable in any establishment.

Girlfriend had a bad piercing job from another shop, and we went to HOWL to have them see what can be done about it. All staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Really unique atmosphere as well (in a good way). I would definitely recommend this shop for others in the area.

This a great place to watch a live show. Its a small intimate setting, but the shows are always fantastic when i go. Ive seen a couple bands here and a comedy show. The staff is very nice and place is always clean.

I had a great experience today with a walk-in piercing from Megan. She took time ahead of prep to talk about piercing options, check out placement and what she would recommend, and they had a beautiful selection of jewelry available. I ended up with something Im proud to wear for months, not just your basic silver tone ball jewelry.Megan answered all my questions, encouraged my nervous small talk, and was quick and as painless as is possible with a piercing. I think the best part of it all was I could tell she was as happy with her work as I am.Im so glad I gave Howl a try, I would definitely recommend the shop. If anyone is hesitant about a piercing, go talk to the staff and see what they think, everyone was really friendly.

I made an appointment a week in advance. Got there today 1/4/2020 with my appointment card and still was told my appointment was for Friday 1/3/2020. Dealt Erin Kreakal. Very unprofessional as well as the front desk girl. Went to Needful things located in downtown Fort Myers imidiatly after had excellent customer service and appointment set up.

This place is awesome!!!! Some tattoo places are just there to make money, but within 10 seconds of walking into Howl you will understand that they are there for their love of art. So much talent here in so many different formats... you are crazy to not come here for their amazing ink -- or something equally amazing to hang on your wall. These people embody everything that art is about and it shows. And they give back to the community! They are constant involved with events and things-going-on! You are blind if you cant see that these people care about what they do. If there were more stars I would give them without hesitation. :-)

I have had many experiences with piercings, tattoos and piercers/tattoo artists. This shop was by far the most outstanding public environment I have encountered. Groovy and generous customer service, John especially, and everyone just seems happy with what they do and it shows in all of their work. I had my septum pierced today by GB, and it couldnt have been a better situation. Very gnarly guy, all professional and sterile of course. And I will be recommending this place to everyone! Howl Gallery/Tattoo is one of the few artistic hot spots in town that offer a cutting edge variety of artwork and tattooing or piercing services. The space is always clean and sharp and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. When they hold events and art receptions, you know its bound to be top notch and lively. I highly recommend a stop in at Howl for anyone interested in new ink or new art, or both!

HOWL is one of my favorite places in Ft. Myers. Ive been coming to the shop for about 2 years now and every experience I have had has been great.Matt Lackey has been my artist for each session (in the middle of a full arm sleeve right now) and he has done an absolutely amazing job. I recommend him to everyone who asks about my tattoos. Great guy, amazing artwork, with really fair prices. The rest of the staff are all equally as awesome and I enjoy talking to everyone whenever I come in. They all make you feel really welcome. I wouldnt recommend any other place in Ft. Myers.

Its taken me awhile to write this review, but here it is finally!On the last day of my vacation in Ft. Myers, I had my heart set on getting my first tattoo. I researched all the different shops in the area, reading reviews and looking at portfolios, but I really connected with HOWL because I noticed that the shop owner had graduated from SCAD--the same college I went to! I knew I had to go to this place. My best friends and I were walk-ins around noon who wanted to get piercings and tattoos, and Chris at the front desk was so accommodating and nice that he made us feel right at home. Our artist was GB and he did a fantastic job with my friends nose and cartilage piercings, as well as my tattoo. Id definitely make the three and a half hour trip back to get my next piece!

Got my first tattoo today from Matt. I had been looking at many other tattoo shops around town and decided to get mine done from Matt at HOWL. He was extremely nice and helpful and he really takes his time and does his research to give you the best possible tattoo. I am thrilled with the way mine turned out, its better than I had hoped. Overall, I strongly recommend this shop to anyone. The place has a great relaxing atmosphere, a great staff, and most importantly great tattoos at a great price.
