My experience started well and ended badly. The salesman, while accommodating, was not experienced in the type of trailer he was selling. Due to this and my experience there was a lot of back and forth to modify my order and it took over a month to order the trailer.Further miss communication and confusion regarding financing lead to the salesman sounding defensive and exasperated leading me to cancel the transaction and lose a $500.00 deposit.

I called for two hub kits for my trailer. They said they had them in stock. They closed at noon that Saturday. I called at 10:20. I drove from Cape Coral got there around 11:20. Before I walked in the front door, I was greeted by an individual that opened the front door for me and said thank you for stopping in. I walked to front register told the lady what I was looking for. She directed me to parts counter. They had the parts I ordered waiting behind the counter. They asked if I had any questions. Which I did, they answered them for me. The cashier was extremely pleasant and carried on a conversation with me. She thanked me for shopping at Tropic Trailer. Another gentleman approached me and thanked me also. On the way out of the door, I was thanked again by another employee. Being in sales most of my adult life, that kind of service was greatly appreciated!!! They made me feel special and appreciated. It was truly an excellent shopping experience. Keep it up. Long story short!Bought boat trailer 3 years ago. This was the first time I needed the spare that I purchased with the trailer, SURPRISE! It’s the wrong size. It happened middle of nowhere. Had to purchase a new wheel and tire as an emergency replacement . Went back to them. They reimbursed me not only for the cost of the incorrect spare but also for the extra cost I incurred in purchasing the entire wheel tire assembly. Kudos to them! They stepped up to the plate.I appreciate that. Mistakes happen and they made me whole!

Traveling across the Alley with our favorite Maverick flats boat we spun a hub on our trailer around 4pm. We thankfully were near Bass Pro (tracker service ) and thought we were in good hands! NOT!! we were told someone would call us first thing in the morning going on 3pm the next day we never heard a word, even after us calling them 3 times . THANKFULLY we did our own homework and ended up in the hands of Brandon and Neil at Tropic Trailer. I cant begin to tell you how quick we were able to get some answers even at 430pm. BTW They close at 5. After having the boat and trailer towed over they immediately came out and were on top of the job. Assessing it spot on! Unfortunately our trailer needs a new Axle bc they do not make the hubs for our trailer, Neil explained to us after all said in done it might be better to purchase an entire new trailer. So here is what you get when you stop at Tropic Trailer; employees that care about their customers,extremely knowledgeable, and honest not to mention kind and friendly. What more can you want !! They get A+ in my book ! And they are kind enough to let us have some time to think about what we want. Gotta love Tropic Trailer!

Extremely unreliable. They failed to order the correct trailer hitch receiver for my car twice. The first time, I understood mistakes happen. However, the second time occurred after they failed to call me when the new part arrived and then failed to service my car when I dropped off the car - dropped it off at 2:00 pm for a one hour job - I called back at 4:15 and was told the car would be ready the next morning (I happen to drive my truck past the store later than evening and my car was parked outside the store exactly where I left it, with no obvious signs that any work was done on it).

Had a small issue with a product I ordered online, arrived damaged.Called and they said they would take care of it.. and BOY did they! It arrived the very next morning! Do you guys use personal drones to drop this stuff off? LOL fastest delivery and resolution to a problem ever! hats off to Randy and whoever he had fix this for me, I will be back!

We had the perfect experience here, were told 2 to 3 week for installation and a few days later we received a call to come in weeks early, they actually got the job done in record time and sent us on our way with a huge smile, completely satisfied and feeling like we were treated like family!

We recently bought a brand new Continental Trailer from a local company in Tampa. Due to the fact the trailer was brand new, we made the assumption everything was a go with the trailer. We couldnt have been more wrong. On our way down to Marathon Florida we stopped in Bonita Springs to get gas and to our surprise one of the wheels was at a 45 degree angle. We called the company we bought it from and they gave us three numbers in the area to call that were Continental Dealers. The only one that could help us was Tropic Trailer in Fort Myers. This was a 30 minute trek backwards but we made it on 5 tires. Once we got there, Neil jumped right in to help and did all that he could do to get us back on the road to Marathon. He and his crew were the nicest, most efficient, incredible group of professionals that I could have asked for. They saved our vacation. And in the future, for any of our trailer needs, we will be making a 3 hour trek south because at this point, they are the only ones we can trust. Have had nothing but a great experience with Tropic. Worked with Gary, who was able to help me figure out what I needed based off of my boat model. It didn’t come with a trailer, so I had nothing to work with. He set me up with a great trailer. After previously calling multiple stores, Tropic could get me one the quickest and for the least amount of money. They even setup a factory pickup for me, so I could get the trailer from the manufacturer (10 min from where I live) instead of having to drive to their dealer (2 hours from where I live). Erika also got me all of the documents inc. bill of sale and registration extremely fast. If I ever need to buy another trailer, this is who I’m working with.

Im only giving this company a one-star review it looks like they sell a lot of new equipment and used equipment trailers utility trailers bobcats but I was looking at a used camper they were trying to hide severe water damage and currently trying to sell it as if there is no damage I would watch out if you buy from this company very greedy there is water damage to the entire subfloor this is being hidden by tongue and groove flooring over top of the water damaged flooring the roof was resealed and properly and is leaking water into the inside of the camper and they are still trying to exploit someone out of $5900 for a traded in water damage camper that has mildew/mold inside for the fact that this was a trade-in unit and I know that they did not give the customer who traded it in no more than $2,000 and the fact that they are trying to get $5,900 for a camper that is in disrepair I tried to offer less and they said that someone will come through and buy it for asking price..ok I hope the owner can sleep well at night knowing that he has no problem ripping somebody off

Wow words will not suffice in expressing our gratitude to Neil and the crew at Tropic Trailer Fort MyersWe developed a trailer brake issue with our 2019 Airstream Travel Trailer on the way down to FL from MI It got progressively worse to the point where we did NOT HAVE BRAKES!! Our 2017 Yukon which had pulled 2 other trailers in the past year with zero brake issues would disconnect and then connect with a series of BEEP BEEP BEEPTook the trailer to a FL RV dealer and they said it was the trucks fault yuk!Airsteam Customer care suggested we go to an independent trailer dealer thus Tropic Trailer They got me right in and Neil looked at the trailer and listened to what I told him and said he was sure it was not the truck but brakes on trailerSure enough next day sends a pic of a broken wire leading to brake magnet had been rubbing on the axle leading to brake magnet result of broken clipThey fixed same day and checked other brakes and wiring all at a reasonable priceTrip from Fort Myers to Naples went great problem fixedThanks Neil And Tropic TrailerBob & Janis Lockman

Went for a tire that they didnt have. Dude in the front desk lookee overwhelmed with the phone calls. He didnt have the tire but told me where i could get it locally.

Went in today to get some prices and possibly buy a trailer, was outside for over 20min waiting for a sales guy and someone who just walked out was helped before us so we went inside to get help. Lady at the front counter was too worried about ordering lunch to look up some prices for us, called for a sales associate. Waited another 10min no one helped us so we walked out. When we asked the lady at the front counter if we could get some prices all she did was call on the PA system for someone and didn’t even follow up. Guess ordering lunch was more important than having a sale!

Extremely happy with the speed of their customer service. I ordered a specific product, which I found later is discontinued. Just after one email they took care of everything for no time. Thats what happens when you know how to run your business right! A+

I came in on Saturday morning around 7:30am. I figured Id wait until they opened. The service manager Neal greeted me. I need to get a light fixed and a 4 pin switched out for a 7 pin.Neal told me was expecting a horse trailer at 8 and he was pretty slammed. Since I cant come in during the week, Saturday is my only time to get this done. Neal told me Hold on. Ill just do this myself. I ought to have this done before the horse trailer.He had me done as the horse trailer was pulling in! He only charged me 40.00! Let me tell you what. He is the definition of Service. Sometimes you come across a business that is truly different. Randy and Tropic Enterprises did everything they could to help me out. Totally professional, great communication, responsive to customer input and completely focused on a ensuring a great buying experience from start to finish. I could not recommend Randy and this outfit more. If you need something they carry, dont even bother searching for alternative vendors. These folks will deliver where others offer excuses, sputter and stall out or just plain underperform. Pricing is reasonable and shipping was fast. What more could you ask for? I recently had some problems fixed on a VERY new trailer(less than a month old) that I bought somewhere else. Unfortunately i was not familiar with Tropic trailer since i am new in Florida and live in Cape Coral! Neil and these guys are true professionals! I have had my trailer there already for 3 issues and 2 that are under warranty from another dealership in which i will not go to again!The Tropic trailer staff gets me in quickly and back on the road to make money! What a relief to go to a shop that actually knows what they are doing and takes time to explain things.I highly recommend this shop!!

Only thing they wait till your hooking up to your purchase to tell you they cant guarantee a matching spare tire for your trailer !! We waited a week to go pick up our trailer, we were offered a spare tire and paid for everything THEN in the street hooking up they say cant guarantee a matching spare!!! Bit of a carnie act...
