Sam and Mel are absolutely beautiful people who really love what they do and it shows in their work. They are no longer in the Edison Mall, but their new area is beautiful inside and welcoming. Thank you for everything you did. You both are amazing!!

Everyone at Makeup Mansion is amazing! I went in to get my makeup done and left feeling like a different person! Their staff is warm and inviting and they don’t only do your hair and makeup but they build you up to feel fabulous as they do it! I went into my holiday family photos feeling amazing and confident!

I set an appointment up to get my hair and makeup done for prom. I had to sit and wait an hour for my hair to even be started on. I showed a picture that clearly showed what I wanted and what I got was a 2000s pin up mess. I had to fix it when I got home. Then when I was getting my makeup done the makeup artist made fun of my eyebrows because they weren’t plucked. And my makeup was WAY too dark and orange for my skin tone. She forgot to prime my face so she put foundation on first then primed and then put another layer of foundation on. Which made me look cakey. Honestly I went home looking like trailer park trash. Although they were friendly they definitely don’t cater to your needs.

I did a walk-in appointment and they were extremely accommodating. Diamond was my make-up artist and she did such an amazing job! It was as if she read my mind as to what I wanted. All the ladies were extremely nice and welcoming. Will return again!

Great costumer service from everyone! They treat you with respect and dignity through out the whole process of your appointments and my stylist Samantha Vendell rocks the most! Always asks what I want and how she can help me feel beautiful inside and out! Thank you girl!. I give all these ladies a standing ovation. Keep up the great work ladies!

First and foremost not only is her presence warm and loving she also does the BEST OF THE BEST !!!! I have had multiple experiences with getting my make up done but have never endured such a mesmerizing experience her prices are Great ! And she is very accommodating. This review is only getting three stars because the makeup was good (while it lasted) and the lady who did my eyebrows was a sweetheart. The service was incredibly slow, which I was anticipating given the nature of the day. But I instantly felt very uncomfortable. I was asked if I was sick by the lady working on my face, out of nowhere. It was because my nose was reddening- Im on the very pale side for a latina and my skin is combo. Quite sensitive around my nose due to my piercing. Not to mention when I went for my eyeshadow, I felt very rushed and as if the makeup artist was irritated. I was told to just find a picture quite quickly.When I imagine a place for makeup artists, I imagine polite, one-on-one interactions. Artists happy to give their opinion and sort of offer ideas. My interaction with everyone here was awkward at best and ended up being uncomfortable. By the time I left, my appointment at 3 had caused me to leave 3 hours later after on the phone we were told 1 hour. And my makeup didnt last. Im not one to sweat or become excessively oily, so my face was fine. But my eye makeup began to fade and peel up quickly. I would probably not go back again for awhile until they have a better set up and artists who can take on a full face.

This place was great! Mel, the owner was amazing and truly loves what she does and it shows in her work. She left me looking absolutely amazing!!!! Would most definitely go back in the future for any events in SWFL!!!

If I could have marked zero stars I would have. Absolutely horrible customer service. I had an appointment on July 27 at 7:30am for make-up with the owner. I had a very important networking event to attend in Sarasota FL which is why scheduled the appointment so early and this was explained the day of making the appointment. However, on the morning of July 27 while on my way to the appointment . The owner called and said she overslept. The via text said she couldn’t be there by 7:30 but she could be there by 8. I texted her back to confirm that she could be there by 8 and she never responded back. Honestly, if she felt 7:30 was too early for her to do my make-up; one the time slot should have been blocked off, or two she should have said that it was too early. Honesty goes a long ways. Her dishonesty and unprofessional-ness inconvenienced my morning and caused me to be late to my event. Lesson learned, NEVER AGAIN! #SoUnprofessional

Worst service ever. My niece was given an appt at 3pm for hair and 3:30pm for makeup the day of her prom and we had to walk out with her hair half done at 5:40pm because it was going to take another hour/hour and a half for her to be ready and her prom was at 7pm. They over booked appts causing a lot of unhappy customers. Would not recommend if you are on a time crunch. Awful service.
