Just got kicked out because I brought my service dog!! Mark the owner kicked me out!! Horrible,,, all Veteran do not go there!!! Really sad!! Wanted to grab a bagel to go!!! I have been going here for years. Always fast and friendly. During this pandemic some may choose to mask others dont. Grateful this place doesnt refuse to serve someone because of personal choice. Also grateful if the place is packed, you can choose if you want to come in based on your own comfort level, no one at the door telling you that you cant. This to shall pass,cant wait to see smiles again and voices not muffled by masks,remember speak up its hard to understand you when youre wearing a mask.

This is one of the friendliest staffs I’ve ever encountered. The food is great and you can tell that this small family run business loves what they do. I have never been to a bagel shop this amazing and I can’t wait to go back!

My boyfriend and I have lived in Fort Myers for 6 years and are just now discovering this gem! The aroma alone in this place is amazing! Our breakfast bagel and sandwich were so fresh and amazing! Definitely the best I’ve had in the Fort Myers area. Not to mention it’s family owned and it was really nice to see their whole family working together. I found my new breakfast spot and will definitely be returning

One of the best best bagels I’ve had. Visiting from New England, we were looking for a good, quick breakfast during our trip to Cape Coral. TBF did not disappoint!!! Bagels were fresh, they had tons of flavor options, and the staff was friendly and personable. One of the first things we noticed was no masks on employees because it was out of the norm for us, but since there isn’t a mask mandate in Fort Myers, the facility was overall very clean, all workers were wearing gloves, and everyone treated us so well we had a great experience. Our entire group was more than pleased. Wish we had a TBF up north!!!

We are visiting Fort Myers for a month and my husband went to pick up bagels for the family. We wear masks when inside shopping and unable to social distance. He immediately noticed that no one in the shop wears masks, including the clerks. When it was his turn, he ordered a dozen bagels. The women behind the counter made him repeat his order several times in what appeared to be an obvious attempt to get him to take his mask off. I mean, it’s a bagel shop, what did she think he was ordering. Once she accepted his order, she had no trouble understanding his bagel selections. Although, she did appear to have difficulty in counting the bagels. We won’t be going back or recommending this shop to anyone.

Love this place found it a few years ago, everything we are in town we always go there. I always get the chocolate chip bagel with chocolate chip cream cheese but by the time I got there they were sold out.

First off, NOBODY preparing the food had masks on during this time of COVID. The owners excuse was they cant make the staff wear masks. This is 100% NOT true. The owner reserves the right to mandate employees wear masks and can require patrons without a mask to leave. Doing so does NOT violate anyones personal rights or HIPPA whatsoever. If customers and or staff dont want to comply, they can easily go elsewhere. While the bagels are good tasting, my reason for the poor review is their poor inventory management and lack of supply of their core product- the bagel! 1/2 the time I order at 8am, they are out of the specific bagels I want which is very frustrating. Its like an ice cream shop telling you they ran out of ice cream! Bagels are what they do so theres no good excuse for running out of selections at 8am other than poor planning and lack of preparation.

Im sure the food is great, but I cant go to a place that doesnt require their employees to wear a mask. They might as well walk around without shoes & shirts on. This is not forever, just until the vaccine comes out early next year. Call it whatever you want, but wearing a mask to keep your patrons safe, and to give them a little piece of mind seems to be the better business practice rather than simply telling a lot of your customers...never come back, because we dont care.

Bagels are not the best but they are just ok. I am not a big fan of microwaved eggs. They put some type of seasoning in them but they lack flavor and texture. It’s why people don’t go to dunkin for breakfast sandwiches. It’s ok in a pinch. And by the way not a mask in sight for the guests or employees

Amazing food, but sadly whoever works the cash register is told NOT to wear a mask by management. I went once, hoping it was just one employee, but apparently this is some kind of sad statement the management is trying to make. My family will sadly have to miss out on their food until they wear masks around others, or mask-wearing is no longer a necessity.

3 bakers dozen bagels, assorted flavors, were purchased for my family who came in town for my sons wedding. The bagels were dry, overcooked and almost $50 for 3 dozen bagels. Almost half were left over because they were dry, hard and barely edible. (Some of the staff wore masks, other staff did not.) I presented a gift card for part of my purchase and their machine would not take it. The manager? said if the machine wasnt working properly, there was nothing she could do....she finally unplugged the machine and then it took the gift card. Overall this was a huge disappointment. Dont rely on The Bagel Factory for a special breakfast treat for out of town guests. This was embarrassing and disappointing...and a waste of money!

NO MASKS!!!Disappointed and disgusted!!!I went to pick up bagels, but the employees were not wearing face masks. I left.They should have a sign in the door that reads,“We don’t care about public health. Enter at your own risk”Makes me wonder what other sanitation issues they ignore.Do they wash their hands?

I found the bagel factory today & got a bakers dozen! I first found their bagels at a farm market in Englewood 2 years ago. My favorites are the Hawaiian & apple-cinnamon. The only negative is that no workers were wearing masks which is not safe during the covid pandemic.

I stopped in this morning & bought some cream cheese & 6 cinn/raisin bagels to enjoy at home. They were VERY STALE & had to be a day or 2 OLD. Very sad that you sell such pool quality food. THREW THEM IN THE TRASH!!

Not following CDC guidelines (no social distancing, no PPE). Against my better judgment, I still ordered a nova bagel, and found a hair in it. It was honestly karma for ordering from a place ignoring health guidelines.

We love the Bagel Factory,while spending our winters in FM. Bagels and coffee here are the best we ever tasted! I always get a pumpernickel bagel with egg and tomato, so yummy. My husband loves cinnamon raisin with cream cheese. We highly recommend the Bagel Factory!.

Visited from out of town and stopped by around brunch time. The bagels here were delicious and there were lots of options to choose from. You can taste how fresh everything is. Will definitely come back!

Ive been going here for years. After today, I wont be going back. The entire staff was unmasked. The reason I was given is its not mandatory. Not only is this incredibly indecent and rude but, as a hospital employee with two parents who contracted COVID, its an absolute slap in the face. Clearly the owner is not of sound mind.

Walked into The Bagel Factory today for the first time in several years as I had a doctors appointment in the area today. I saw they had salted bagels available and ordered one. Its been AGES since I had a salted bagel and The Bagel Factory definitely didnt disappoint! Ill be back again on Monday for my bagel fix. :)

The employees were great, place was clean, they followed COVID19 protocols, the food was fresh, etc. Im also a NYer & our city fruit is a bacon egg & cheese on a bagel and the ones here did not remind me of home. Just wasnt enough flavor and alittle pricey, otherwise good location for breakfast on the go!

So being in the bagel world I had to come check this place out. Me and my boyfriend both had bacon egg and pepper jack cheese. Had the combo he had the cinnamon sugar bagel. We enjoyed it. Loved how spacious the dining room was and the fact that you can see the kettle and oven. Staff was friendly was able to get help right away. Overall great experience and will be returning.

The people who work there are sweet as can be,and very friendly. The food however is not my favorite. Bagels are dense and bland.

Just disappointing overall... no masks on staff and no social distancing practices in place. Been going here since mid 2000s and it seems like their bagel recipe/cooking technique mustve changed as they are less fluffy and taste stale.

For locals with no other option probably acceptable. As forNEW YORK STYLE Not even close! We found Bagels to be dry, over baked and extremely hard to chew. Finally, true NY BAGELS are considering thicker and soft.

Delicious bagel sandwiches but we were extremely disappointed that none of the staff were wearing masks. Im not sure why this was happening but it made us both very uncomfortable and worried that we could potentially get sick.

Consistently the BEST bagels in SW Florida, year after year! And the staff is great, too. The coffee is always hot and fresh. This place is an important institution of Fort Myers.

The rules dont apply to this guy. Neither he nor any of his employees wear face masks while dealing with customers. During the COVID pandemic. They put on a big were veterans act but real veterans would follow the rules and not endanger other people.

Drove down from Venice to buy these delicious bagels. First tasted them at the Englewood Farmers’ and decided to take a road trip to Ft, Myers to pickup a bakers dozen. Every bit as good as Chicago bagels on Touhy Ave, the best of bagels in Detroit and certainly better than the bread textured style that New Yorkers seem to prefer. To each their own but for me, these are 5 star!

Being new to the area I was trying to find comfort foods, bagels in particular. I came across this place (fortunately very close to me) and loved it. An enormous selection of bagels and the quality is excellent.

Recently moved to NC from FL and anytime I come back to Fort Myers I HAVE TO go to Bagel Factory. This place makes the BEST bagels in the world. Family owned, great staff and friendly environment. I cant seem to find better bagels anywhere in NC better than Bagel Factory. Love this place.

I love the bagel factory, Ive been going for at least a decade. I was disappointed today though to see so many people, including those working not wearing a mask.

Went here this morning (in July) and I was disappointed. Not a single employee was wearing a mask when dealing with food or customers. Customers were dining in and it was packed, again no masks. Long line, no distancing. I’m sorry but we’re in a pandemic and the business should really be taking precautions. My mom and I were the only people wearing a mask in the whole place.

Always wonderful food, and a great approach with call-in, ready-to-pick up orders for people during the pandemic isolation. Friendly, fast, and did I mention wonderful bagels.

I started going to The Bagel Factory a few months ago, and it has now become an every weekday morning ritual for me. After I drop my kids off at school, I head straight there, for the best service and the most delicious, fresh, hearty bagel breakfast Ive ever had! Also, I typically order the same thing Everytime, and it is a little bit if a complicated order request, but they have it written down, as my usual, so that anyone working behind the counter can make it to my exact specifications. I hate being THAT customer, but they make me feel welcomed and they do not seem at all annoyed or inconvenienced by it. Go here for the best bagels and best, kind service in town!!!

Sometimes good. Usually run out of most bagels a couple hours in. So unless u get there super close to opening, youre out of luck. Youd think they would plan ahead for how busy they usually are, and stock extra.
