Scott and Dave were both really helpful with helping me find the right gun for me. Also, when I came back today to get some ammo for it, and I had a few questions they were helpful again.Shoot straight always has the ammo I’m looking for too.

The staff are awful. Was ready to spend some coin and couldnt get anyone to help. Getting someones attention is like pulling teeth. Theyd rather chat amongst themselves. Yeah bud, hang on, Ill BRB. Been there 3 times and each experience is the same. I absolutely hate this store. Its not even worth dealing with their staff for quick FFL transfers from the online store. They are the absolute worst. Never ever again.

My wife and I have bought three fire arms from shoot straight. They always are so friendly excellent customer service. You will not be disappointed their prices are amazing and and customer service is top notch.

Good selection of firearms last time I was there. Range is really nice when its not too crowded. Staff is not great. Neither the salespeople nor the managers are very knowledgable regarding firearms. Some of the salespeople act in a childish condescending manner, even though you know more than them. Dont ever try to sell/trade a firearm here, they will only give you like 15% of what you could get in a private sale.

Nice looking store but 24.99 for 20 rounds of steel case 7.62x39 is a joke.

To all of my minorities out there,,, this is not the place to go if youre looking for customer service, my wife and I who happen to be African American paid there store a visit looking to purchase a firearm today, as soon as we walked in we were face with at least 3 employees who said nothing just stared at us, we thought it was rude not be greeted but paid it no mind,,,,,, until another couple who happens to be white walked in and the second they hit that door the employees welcomed them to shoot straight and it was at that time that that my wife and I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcomed, very disappointed and upset that we werent presented with the proper customer service and that we were to uncomfortable to purchase the firearm my wife had been looking at maybe well try another shop.

Called ahead to find out availability on ammo. Was told it was in stock. Went into store and waited twenty minutes before I was asked if I needed help. There were only two other customers at the time. Was told that they did not have the ammo available but the range desk said it was so I waited another ten minutes in line to be told that they were mistaken and that they did not have any. Not my first bad experience here. No apologies just a shrug.

$0.90 a round for 9mm ammo is price gouging. Your behavior will be remembered in my future shopping decisions.

After purchasing two guns at the gun show from Shoot straight approximately two months ago. I went to the Ft Myers store and purchased a couple gift certificates for $964, enough for an AR15 as a surprise graduation gift for my daughter. Meanwhile my daughter bought herself an AR15 at the gun show one week before she graduated from college, I figured since we didnt take possession of the gun, I could get a refund. Not! They said they couldnt do anything to help me. I had to use the gift cards, buy the gun and now will have to try and sell it to recoup my money. Poor business practice! as they now have lost me as a customer as well as all my gun toting friends.

The place would be great if they didnt hire young kids that have no practical knowledge of the products and services they are selling. Ive had good experiences and bad ones. The bad ones have always been some young man telling me something that I know isnt the case. The good experiences have always been when I dealt with a competent adult behind the counter. I know good help is expensive, but quality service is extremely valuable to those of us who dont mind paying a little more for it. What good is cheaper labor if it negatively affects the customers experience?Just one opinion from an avid sporting goods customer.

I tried to tip him but refused it lol and told me to just leave a good review. The store is a smaller location with around 10 firing lanes or so but still has pretty good selection of firearms and is overall a great store.

Wow if you’re looking for a great deal on a gun this is definitely the place. A very well run range for target shooting is also on site. Appears to be a well trained staff that is accessible to show you anything you want to see. I could not believe some of the sale prices for pistols on clearance/sale tables.It is worth stopping in for the avid shooter!

Came here hoping to have a great indoor range experience because its not as crowded. The hovering though was insane. I wasnt breaking any rules in the range, have my CCW, and was utilizing proper firearm safety and form with my .22 . Please dont assume a woman is any less safe or capable. You guys made me so nervous coming to the glass every 5 minutes to see what I was doing, i left before my time was up. I was doing the same procedures everyone else in there was for reloading, i had on my ears and eyes, i had the proper, posture, grip, and never missed the target. You guys need to calm down and stop hovering over women.

Nick helped me sign up for the class, he was real patient as it took forever for me to load my schedule so I could see what day Ill be free. The day after I took the concealed carry class with Pete. Amazing instructor right there! I wish we had a bit more time in the range, but they were getting ready to close. Also, I wanted to know what type of gun we were using. I didnt think to ask at the moment but It looked like a M9A3 Beretta, but not sure if thats what it was. I will definitely be back!

Bought a gun and came and picked it up on Friday and at 659 the doors were locked and they refused to allow let me pick it up as they were closed knowing i had driven an hour and a half and i had spoke to someone and said i would be there right before or at 7pm and there were still 4 people in the store. that is just poor customer service...

Ordered rifle and had it delivered to shoot straight. Went in 1 day prior to them receiving rifle to get paperwork started. Filled out paperwork and was not asked to pay a fee. Received called next day that rifle had arrived. I mentioned to them that I had already started paperwork day before. They confirmed, my 3 day wait would be Wednesday the following week. I called wednesday to make sure everyone was good to go. The good part- they told me I have to go in a pay for background check before 3 day wait would start........ BS they should have said that the first time.

People here are extremely stuck up unless youre picking up a part or a gun. Only met a few decent people here. Prices are good but better online.

Purchased a .45 Kimber at the Lee Co gun show and they never processed my background application. [claimed they couldnt read my writing, everyone can ] Fast forward 3 weeks later, and no call, no letter, no nothing. Waited until I showed up, and then told me. Called corporate office to complain and no one picked up the phone [ conveniently ] . I would never do business with this company again. Horrible.

Just bought a new addition to the collection. Price was very good. Gun was on sale. It was priced better than used ones on Gunbroker and new ones on all internet gun sales sight. That did surprised me. I was happy though. No wait time for shipping walked out with it. Staff is friendly. Don’t remember his name but he was very nice to deal with. I would recommend anyone to go and buy guns that are on sale from them.

Have been a several times and purchased fire arms. I have noticed the prices are generally higher than else where but I’ve always gotten top notch service so it doesn’t bother me too much. The shooting range is good, there’s always been a range attendant watching everyone vigilantly.

Great place to come the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I was greeted right when I came in last week and I was working with a Spanish person who was bald and had tattoos he sold me an NRA and knew what he was talking about. The range was fun and I felt safe inside. Good place to come! I will be coming more often.

The system they have in place to pick up a gun from a gun show was horrible! Waited 2 hours outside and then 45 mins inside for them to triple check my paperwork. I have my ccw and the gun was paid for with all paperwork filed out at the gunshow. It should be as quick as check id and hand you the gun! Everyone in line was talking how they are NEVER buying a gun from shoot straight again! Very bad experience!

Bought a gun at the local gun show. I have a CCW so process should be smooth and quick. Wasn’t able to take the gun home on Sunday and was asked to pick up at Shoot straight the following Thursday. Ok inconvenient but I get it they had to run the backgrounds and sold a lot of guns that weekend.I get there Thursday to pick up and see a long line wrapped around the side of the building and back behind. 2 hour wait outside in the heat. Once you get inside the store you can see the problem. First they have someone check your ID & CCW against the paperwork and receipt, locate the gun you purchased and double check gun numbers. Then they stick you in a 2nd line for another person to check your ID & CCW AGAIN & gun numbers and “check gun out of inventory.” That took another 30 min for a grand total wait time of 2.5 hours.The gun was paid for 4 days prior, why was it even in the inventory! Should have been a simple show the receipt and ID and grab and go.There were probably 8-10 people working but no organization. Workers running back and forth photocopying on the same copier, then waiting for the same register.Last time I will ever use or recommend Shoot straight. It was a complete disaster. Employees weren’t friendly either.

Used to be a five star facility. They wont allow you to set up your optics on the bench. They informed that I have to put $5k worth of hardware on the ground in my 3 foot shooting lane! Cecil Webb is the only place left where the range rules dont take away from the pleasure of shooting.Way too small, too hot, too packed with folks who have never used a gun. If you add not being able to mount your optic on an unloaded gun on a bench behind your lane... there is no point.One of the patrons informed me that their rules changed since someone was killed at this range. Unsafe, too packed, too hot and no logic. Dont let anyone just shoot, have them qualify but give them the space to set up!Staff is friendly and informed. Gun range is small and meant for a single shooter.

Just went for my CC class last week. Tony was upbeat and kept the class fun at the same time being very educational. I also purchased a pistol from them a while back and they were very helpful to make sure i got something that was right for me and comfortable. They have a pretty big selection to choose from as well.

Moved to Ft Myers and needed a place to ship new guns that i buy to. You know, u need them to do the transfer. I have my ccw, so that means i dont have to wait the few days for a background check to come back. So all i need to do is fill out one page and a signature on the second page. Then the gun is mine. But apparently you have to wait for them to check in the guns. Im assuming to match the serial numbers on the gun with the online paperwork. could not imagine that is takes no more then ten minuets for each gun. Now with my opinion i think that it would be a priority to get those guns checked in ASAP once they come in. (customer Service) Everyone wants to have their new gun ASAP, some people wait weeks to get their gun shipped in from out of state. When i went in to pick up my gun after everything was paid for i was told it would most likely be done the next day. I was told one person was working on the checking in process. when i looked around i seen at least 7 employees working there. there was only 3 people with customers and everyone els was just chilling. Now if there is that many guns to check in and it takes so long to do, they need to help each other in the process to speed things up. Sorry if i sound like a Karen, i just want my guns. i hate when people procrastinate. Btw... if you go to the indoor range it feels like your are going to get shot by your zero experience neighbor just popping off rounds into the floor.

I’m not leaving this terrible review for the store in ft. Myers, but for the gun show at the civic center. While at the gun show I was shopping between shoot straight and guns for less. While talking with the shoot straight employee, I asked if he would match the price of his competitor. He said no way, which is completely fine. But he got very upset that I said well I’m sorry but guns for less is selling it for 30 bucks cheaper, so I’ll have to head over there. He got very upset and took the Glock 20 put it back in the case and threw it back under the table into the tote. He then said I sold you on the gun and now you were going to buy it somewhere else, ignorantly degrading his competitors saying he’s just a small business and that he is trying make car payments, or something of that nature. That really upset me, especially being a long time customer of shoot straight and buying many guns from you guys. But I said it’s not his or my fault you won’t match him and you are the one who lost the sale. But After my last experience, I will never step in or buy a gun from any shoot straight ever again.

The Purchase Of My Mini Draco Went So Smooth. Cool Stuff, I Cant Wait To Come Back To Become A Member Of Their Gun Range.

The facility was easy to find thanks to its listing on Google Maps. The people behind the counter steered us towards the gun range personnel counter. We showed our Shoot Straight cards (registered back where we live), bought 3 boxes of ammo and some targets and were on the range within 5 minutes of arriving. The range itself was in good shape. There was plenty of room. It was well lit and well-ventilated. The target pulleys worked fine. Someone from staff swept shell casings twice while we were there. We put some lead downrange and enjoyed it (as usual). We would return to this shop if/when in the area again. All in all it was a typical Shoot Straight gun range experience in my book.

Went on Monday for ladies shoot free. Thats only if you are a member. There is nothing in the descriptions, plus who wants to spend $80.00 for one month membership before checking the place out. The range from what we could see was not all that impressive. Loud in the store due to shooting going on.The driveway going in from Coloinal is dangerous due to being so close to the light (you can get rear-ended). At least the other range states membership required. People at other place much friendlier.LADIES DONT FALL FOR THEIR LINE LADIES SHOOT FREE. It would cost you about $150.00 or more there if not a member.

Where I go to spend some range time. The Range guys are pleasant to deal with and attentive to your needs. The store has a fairly good selection of new and used firearms.UPDATE:I have used their range numerous times and have always felt welcomed by staff. I have purchased three handguns from them with no issues. My last purchase was on an impulse based on being offered a great price on a very expensive HK. I only stopped by to window shop before a doctors appointment. I had 15 minutes to make the deal and leave. The manager and sales guy jumped through hoops to get me out the door in time. This is customer service! I will be a repeat customers for sure!

I have had many firearms shipped to FT Myers Shoot straight. Never had I had anyone be disrespectful or rude. Always friendly I will continue to deal business with them.

I bought some guns during Black Friday at shoot straight which was okay. Found out afterwards that I’d overpaid for the two pistols. 3 day wait period is really 4-5 days in their store because they don’t start the background checks the day you purchase them. Pick up time for the pistols was also aggravating. Gave them my receipts, took them a long time to give me my merchandise where I could leave the store. Needless to say, I’ve found another gun store closer to my home which I’ve bought many more guns from. I compare shoot straight to bass pro, both are aggravating and blind leading the blind. I’ll never overpay the price of guns again at shoot straight. Nor will I pay the overpriced fee for their indoor gun range. From now on, I’ll go to N. Ft. Myers Guns, Fowler Guns or anywhere else. The smaller shops seem to be the better stores. Need a shooting range? Go to Cecil Webb. A couple dollars will last all day. Shoot straight has lost a lot of my money which I’m happy to give it to better stores that don’t charge an arm,leg and half of my torso.

Knowledgeable, professional staff. They take away the intimidation factor for those new to firearms and range shooting. Go to the range off hours as it can be crowded on weekends and in season. Lowest prices I have found in the area. Five stars. Highly recommended.

AWESOME indoor shooting range and shop. Everyone was very friendly and had two range/employees watching the range at all times, very safe. Best place in Fort Myers, FL and farther to shoot. You can bring your own ammo and targets, ammo needs to be new (not reloaded). They charge $15 per hour to shoot but time wise isnt really strict so if you go over no big deal, they only stay firm I guess if people are waiting. I shot for 1.5 hours for the $15. They have quite a few lanes to shoot from too, must have been like 12-15. AC is nice as well. Ear and Eye protection is free and if you need it, there ammo prices are actually pretty good.I originally went to Fowler Firearms and it was horrible, they were so rude/stuck up. The range isnt bad, has about 5-6 lanes and AC but you have to buy there ammo $$$$ and if you bring your own targets they need to be 24 wide. They nail you on the ammo price big time, and to shoot guys are free range time and gun rental on Friday and Ladies I think are Thursday, otherwise its pay for range time and gun rental if need be ($10-$25). I had a far, far better experience at Shoot Straight and brought my own ammo and targets.Cecil Webb is an outdoor range, its pretty far away from Fort Myers, bring your own stuff and its like $3 per person to shoot or $6 per car load. Reviews are horrible, everyone says the range officers are rude and safety isnt always up to par, that kinda freaked me out, reviews said people pointed guns down range when it was suppose to be cold and people are changing targets, girlfriends are waiving the boyfriends gun around, etc. Not worth the risk!!!Havent been to Naples gun range but again, its the same, you have to buy there ammo.SHOOT STRAIGHT is the place to go for sure, they have memberships too for frequent shooters.

Frustrating to say the least, call a few day prior to my guns arrival and informed them that my gun will arrive Friday. The very nice gentleman said yhats great, call us when you’re ready to come in and we will get it ready for you right away.So I can when it arrives cause I got an email, “Brandon” tells me that’s it’s going to be a couple hours before they can do it cause they don’t have the staff to do it now... I’m leaving town and have been waiting for this and he can’t take a few minutes to do what needs to be done so I can be a happy customer and enjoy my purchase for the weekend while I’m in Orlando! I’ve bought SCARs and Glocks here and it always was great, however, the box I got with the Glock was damaged on the outside, not a big deal but ugly for a brand new pistol. SCAR box had a huge spaghetti stain on the side, don’t know if they were having lunch on it or what.One of the guys that works there got really rude when I tried to take a picture of a firearm on display.

Huge Firearms Selection. Very Friendly/Informative/Helpful Staff (which is unusual in Gun Shops).They also have a great Indoor Shooting Range, they dont have metal targets though.

Rude. Whenever I make multiple purchases at an establishment, I expect there to be some level of respect and customer service. Guess not. The guy at the desk who helped us was great, the manager was terribly rude. Barely looked me in the eye and claimed I cant even get $200 out of a barely used gun because they have a sale going on. Alright, cool. Ill be going somewhere else from now on. Its not even really the price of the trade-in, but the rudeness of the manager.

If you purchase a gun at a show you are required to pick it up later at their store. When I arrived there was a very long wait which I expected but instead of allowing customers to provide their number so they can wait in their vehicle to social distance you are required to wait in line with no shade. It is disappointing to see a company treat their customers poorly once they already have their money.

I am not yet a customer to Shoot Straight BUT I will be in the near future. Here is why. I am sure everyone is aware the civilian that aided an office in duress earlier in the week. Its a nice place with a range and big selection, however, its nearly impossible to get someone to assist you. People walk past and dont even acknowledge you. A simple acknowledge that youre there and that someone would be with you would go a long way. Overheard one of the salespeople being very condescending to someone on the phone. I have been to the store a few times shooting and have also purchased a Kimber 1911. An importantfact to mention is that I am confined to a wheel chair. In all instances, sales experience and shooting range I have found the staff to be very courteous and friendly.

Every time Ive been in there employees are rude and make you feel like your a bother, especially the management. the last gun I bought from there I ask the manager to show me how to field strip the handgun and he told me to go on you tube to find out. I will never go back. Id rather spend a extra 100.00 and get great customer service and be treated nice. I hope they go out of business

This place is about $70 more then Fowler in Fort Myers and Shoot Center in the Cape.I stopped in to see if they had any Labor day sales going on and the guy said Everyday low pricing lol Umm. are you sure about that? Even with their $50 off Glock price, they are still $30 more expensive. Ouch.

Place is totally unimpressive. the range is congested and many times you have to wait to get a lane. The guns they sell are significantly overpriced, and they did low ball me on a trade price. Buyer beware that you will not get a good deal there. You WILL overpay when you try to buy a gun there simply because of their name! I ended up going to fowler and got great service and a good deal. Shoot center in Cape coral is now open. Go there for great service!

Today I went to the range with my Dad, I go when I get the chance but today I got to bring my Dad who is an Army veteran. My Dad has not fired a rifle in over 40 years and the staff was very helpful and gave him a great experience. all I can say is Thank you.

I bought a Kimber 1911 khx from these people at the gun show. I was a fool to not check the box for the disassembly tool before purchase. Well i went ahead and called to ask why there were no tool in the box with my new firearm. They then proceeded to lie to me by saying that my model Kimber 1911 does not bring tools for disassembly. I called Kimber to ask if that was true and i spoke to customer service (which was fantastic) they are thankfully sending me the tools at no expense to me and they said the tools DO come standard with that model of pistol. So if you want a shady lying gunsaleman then shoot straight is the place for you...This company has monopolized on gun sales in the area and honestly shouldnt be given any more money since they have become complacent on basic customer service... This is my 3rd firearm from this place and i will not be coming back

Class act to provide a citizen with another firearm for free since his was taken into evidence after saving the life of an officer. I plan to visit this establishment and thank them personally for valuing the life of first responders.

Not overly impressed. Had a lot of staff that were polite and helpful however the prices were no different than any other retail outlet chain store ($700 for a used LEO handgun that was most likely purchased on a Government bid, and had 5-10k rounds through it)... The girl at the range was unfamiliar with gun laws saying NY and Florida had a reciprocal agreement and had no clue what the LEOSA was. Basically, lack of knowledge on her part and overall value ruined it for me. I teach firearms including the Utah, Florida and Arizona CCWs and just didnt feel like trying to argue with her.**Shooters World - Tampa** still ranks as my favorite in Florida!

Very good range, reasonable price, took 1 star off due to salesman not providing quality service only because I was interested in seeing a low budget gun, not to mention I have guns that range over 1k in value, It shouldnt matter that I ask to see an item of $250, I as a customer should be given the same service as if I was looking at a 1911 worth $900+. In addition the second star was mainly because they allow large ammo to be fired in such a small in-door range, as always when this happens there was that one person between all the lanes shooting an outrageous short rifle shotgun which was throwing not just me but everyone else off target due to the loud bangs every now and then. There is a place for large ammo and rifle shooting, and its called outdoor range, no point in shooting a rifle at 15yards, not to mention dangerous, as I remember the slug ricocheted of the firewall and up to the roof where it took out of the light at the end of the range, luckily the end-wall are always at an angle to prevent a direct ricochet (I believe this is standard in range regulations, not sure though).

My family and I have been coming to shoot straight going on two years now.This is a great place to go. Staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help. ROs do a great job maintaining safety on the range. I recently bought my first AR and first time shooting there I was given some great advice and tips. My wife and I took our CCW class here too. The program is very well organized and the instructor was great.Since my wife and kids are also into shooting we got the year family membership. Very good value. We go often enough that the membership fee has more than paid for itself and weve renewed for a second year.

Great place to buy your next gun, they have good inventory and a knowledgeable staff, if what your looking for is on sale that makes buying even better, Ive had 2 better days so far. Shoot straight at the local gun show is even better 2 thumbs up.

Any shop willing to give a CCW holder a gun on the house after he saves a cops life is good in my book. Great job guys!

Sorry to say I had an unpleasant experience. kinda strict on gun rentals, which wasnt a big problem because I wanted to buy a gun anyways. But they are very expensive and Im very unhappy with how someone tried to play me like a fool and act like the gun I wanted that they didnt have was the same as the lesser version they did have. trying to sell me something I dont want. I see it might just be one bad experience out of a bunch of good ones. But I will probably never set foot in there again. I dont take well to people treating me like Im dumb.

Visit the gun range at least once a month. Always have a blast at Shoot Straight. Get place to bring your friends and family.
