This company is top notch, from the experience and knowledgeable salesman Peter, to the fabrication and installation crew with Shannon and Justin, you can’t ask for a better awning company. This was a very difficult design that came out absolutely magnificent.They have done everything they said they were going to do and they stand behind their work.

I originally had multiple large and small awnings built by Hoover 20 years ago and they far exceeded my expectations for quality and durability. It was time to update the canvas on the original frames and I hired Hoover again to do the job. I was not initially satisfied with the new updated design and function. After expressing my concerns, they came out and made all necessary changes and adjustments without any problem what so ever. I have to say I am very impressed with the way they back their products with pride and customer satisfaction as a priority. We recently worked with Hoover to recover our retractable awnings. We had a few unexpected glitches/complications, which required several visits to our home. Hoover was receptive, responsive and went out of their way to ensure we got our issues resolved as quickly as possible. The true test of a good company is how they respond when things go wrong.... Hoover passed the test!

We love the awning, but just a few weeks later, there were a lot of leaks and rain was coming from the sides so we couldnt sit outside. I sent an email with pictures on Monday and they said they would come this week to fix it. Its noon on Friday and we havent hear from them.

Bait and switch ...Hoover was the first company I had called after the adjuster had a valuated my property which was damaged in the hurricane.Salesman was very nice guy named Jay. His price quote was about 25% higher than what I anticipated after speaking to the adjuster.With so many things to do I decided to pay the premium to take one item off my list. I gave them a 50% deposit. Two weeks later they sent me a change of order because in spite of with the salesman thought they couldn’t just tighten the bolts they had to put new bolts on the frame. I had thought that was the case from the beginning. Now the order increased several hundred dollars more to the point where it was 50% higher than the adjuster had indicated the job would be.At this point I told Hoover through the sales person that it was getting way too expensive for the job requirements and cancelled the order, It took them six weeks of constant badgering in order to get a partial refund.After raising the price of the job on me they had the nerve to charge me $318 as a cancellation fee... Bear in mind they did absolutely nothing except raise the price.Needless to say with this type of bait and switch I will be filing a complaint against their license.I would urge anyone considering using them to have their eyes open and do not give them a deposit unless you do so on a credit card, now I know why the Salesman insisted on meeting me in picking up a check.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing7 awnings for the exterior of my home. The process could not have been easier. From the moment I called Hoover I was on the fast track to transforming the look of my house. I thought I knew exactly what I wanted but their knowledgable suggestions for an alternate design were even better than what I had imagined. The install was fast and professional and the awnings are obviously built to last. You can see and feel the quality. A+!!

Okay We used Hoover years back to install Framing/Awnings for the back section of our house. Now years later we have decided to replace the awning since our roof is being re-done. The replacement price being quoted by (Gary) @ Hoover is way too high almost $5,000!!!!Hoover has our awning template, we are repeat customers, only the awning needs to replaces as the framing is good. Lets see what price Gary comes back with... For now 0 Star. S Updated - Gary Hainline (Sales Rep) responded with a thats our discounted price & other sarcastic remarks (how dare you ask for a lower price) So my Family & I will go elsewhere to get another Awning. Bottom Line: Avg. Quality Product (our awning was rotting & needed to be replaced after 9 years) - Very Poor Customer Service - Poor Price/Value- Be ready to fork out top $ for your replacement awning. Company could care less how much you spent prior with them, no repeat customer discount. Would highly recommend going elsewhere unless you have very deep pockets. BTW Owner did call me back, but we have nothing to discuss.. Moved on to another Awning Co. to give them our business.

Five Stars for the two men that installed the awning. Minus 5 stars to Hoover Architectural. The power coated frame rusted all over, they took it out to fix it. Two years later the rust came back with a vengeance. Complained about it, they were going to come and look at it, they never did. However they will give me a 15% discount if I buy another one at $10,000. They changed the people who coated my frame because of inferior work and now I have to live with it. However their staff is excellent.

Gary was very helpful with timely follow-up. Installers were on time and I am very pleased with the product.
