We moved into a new apartment with speakers in the walls and masses of cables we didnt know what to do with. We also had a relatively new projection TV we wanted to install. Most of the people we contacted wanted to sell us new equipment rather than use what we had. We found Ultra Technologies online and as they were in our area, contacted them. Jon came initially and say they could work with what we had and sent an estimate which was very fair. Joe came and tested the equipment, told us what we needed to buy at Amazon or other place of our choosing. We mainly needed a screen, mount, and a new woofer. They suggested what to buy. They both came for the install, which took 2 sessions. Joe and Jon were very competent and explained everything about what was happening. They had to pull some electrical lines and everything came out working as it should with a finished appearance. You pay for the labor and any cables, etc they supply. It was very reasonable for the time spent. They were there at the scheduled time. We really are pleased and highly recommend them for audio-visual install. Joe and Jon were friendly and neat. Jon is an electrician and even helped with some minor electrical problems peripheral to the AV install.

I am likely a bit more obsessed than most with an audio video installation. Joe, John and Ultra did an outstanding job.Why 5 stars? The install looks right and it works! They made and showed up on time for every appointment. They communicated clearly with email confirmation when an appointment was made. Then personal communication from Joe on timing the day of the appointment. It’s important to keep the customer informed and they did.My install took a while waiting for a wooden TV surround to be built and installed. 2 months later Joe and John were on back on site to finish the install. Consistent performance each visit.The install looks great. Joe had to come up with some creative solutions due to existing cabinetry and he did. He’s also conscious of wire management. A job well done.

Ive been working primarily Joe and Sergio on a day to day basis for the past couple of months and its been great. That said, everyone Ive dealt with has been really nice, responsive, and helpful. I brought them in towards the beginning of our renovations to make sure we were taking the technology aspect into consideration while it would be least invasive to do wiring and things of that nature.Overall, the entire team is extremely professional and very nice to work with. They were not only helpful in the planning process, but also responsive and efficient during the procurement and installation process. Id definitely recommend that you call them as early as possible in your process. We ultimately did a full blown sound system throughout the house, set up a an expandable network hub, and installed all TVs and associated surround sound. Well be using them to finish up the last level of work including cameras and other smart features to tie it all together.

Ultra Technologies is an enigma in the customer service business. They are knowledgeable, professional, they follow through and do what they say they will do. They repaired an 18 year old condominium music system. Diagnosed it and fixed it the first time out. Wow a contractor that does what they say in Sunny Isles beach.

My home audio receiver of 10 years finally crapped out, and i reached out to this company for advice. I got a response by phone within 10 minutes from Joe. He asked me a lot of good questions and we determined that Im just not in the market for the very high-end equipment this company sells. So, 10 minutes later he sends me a detailed email of where to buy the items that fit my budget, with setup instructions, from vendors within my price range. My family recently moved to a new home, and received quotes from a couple of companies to set up home theater system, speakers by the pool, etc. Ultra Technologies service came in at half the price of the other company, and Ultra Technologies provided all of the hardware at prices less than anything I could find at the big-box stores, or even online. They provided my wife and I guidance on everything from the best local service provider(s) for content, placement of all of the TVs, and built a solution that was ideal for us - Powerful, but simple to use. The installation was seamless, where there was no interference with our day. Everything was done in a matter of hours, even all of the wiring runs being hidden. About a week after everything was done, we even got a check back for a refund, where the company found that there was a cable we had paid for that wasnt needed. I would have never even known that money was due - Im not used to that kind of honesty. I cant say enough good things about Ultra Technologies!

My unbiased review and opinions of UltraTechDirect:Steve was fantastic a setting up an appointment on such short notice to install 4 LXORY Solar powered surveillance cameras.Jonathan or Steve called me on Thursday, and asked if I wouldnt mind if he came at 9:00 AM instead of 10:30. I said great the earlier the better.9:00 AM came and went with no show and no call. At 10:19 AM I got a call from Jonathan saying he was on the way, and he was at the communitys gate at 10:21 AM.Jonathan came with no drill. He said he had lent the drill to a friend who was also supposed to come and help him, but stood him up.Jonathan was helpful in that he showed me that it was not possible to mount solar powered cameras in the front of my house which faces east.We determined the locations for optimal two back patio cameras to be installed. I let him proceed with his work. We also agreed that these cameras were really not what I expected as far as remote tilt, pan, scan, and zoom incapabilities and I was going to take them down and return them when I came home.While I was away, one of the cameras went off-line. I found out why when I came home.Jonathan left the peel-off instructions on the solar panel of the camera which did not allow the solar panel and its battery to charge!I purposely hired a professional because I often have problems drilling accurately. I found that Jonathan was only a little better than I. One of the drill holes was apparently too large and he used a plastic plug usually used for wood, dry-wall, or stucco to hold the screw in. Luckily it was only one, but it made it difficult to remove the screw and mounting bracket.Rather than peel off the mounting screw templates after drilling the holes. Jonathan left them there. Between the heat and the rains, I am going to have a very difficult time and effort to remove them from the powder-coat aluminum trusses on my patio.

I dont usually post reviews online but I had to after the recent expierence I had with Eddie John and Joe. Couple things about my scenario. I started off looking or a home installation of three TVs. I wanted soundbars and my wifi amplified throughout my house. I wanted a clean install. No wires showing.When the team came for a quote they were very professional. Gave me a estimate with within 24 hours. Reccomended exactly which soundbars/mounts I should order off amazon.Just in comparison I got a quote from Best buy. They still have yet to get back to me with a formal estimate but quoted me some obscene amount of 12k.Install was amazing. My kid was sleeping in the next room so they started outside the house running a wire for wifi. Tvs went up with perfection and sound bars were spot on for the size of the house. Wifi extends to my dock.I reccomend Ultra technologies for projects small and big. They will not dig into your wallet and they break down everything on paper. They are professional, caring and take passion in their trade. This is how a business should be run. I will be going back for more business when I do my addition to my house

Best Florida Company. I wanted to write to you about the work that was done at our new condo in December 2014. My grandfather purchased a unit that had just been completely remodeled by another company. Although beautiful, a lot of thought was not given to audio and video integration as cat 5 was not incorporated and the thought of looking at ugly video boxes and cables all over the place was not appealing. He decided to talk with Ultra-Tech based on reviews of the company. He called and spoke to Jon Zietz who met us as we where here only for a couple of days. This resulted in a subsequent meeting in their showroom where Jon explained his vision for getting the job done and equipment needed.The plan was to install (2) 65” 4k Curved sets, (2) 51 “ and (1) 32” Samsung TV’s all wall mounted and a wireless bluray player. Joe and his team was involved in the install and the coordination with corporate and Jon did an excellent job with equipment software integration and remote control programming. The job was challenging and the team met and exceeded the task. From day one he felt the he was a valued customer and that they were going to do whatever it took to make me happy. The team did an A+ job. Sure they had a few hiccups but no obstacles were going to stop this team. What also impressed him was that they were very mindful of the budget and treated it as if it was their money that they were spending.They worked hard, were neat and respectful at all times and everything works as promised.
