Shaynee helped me every step of the way for a large landscape transformation that needed mulch, rocks, boulders, landscape fabric, and edging. Shaynee provided me by far the best customer service among all the Pioneers I have worked with. I highly recommend this Pioneer and working with Shaynee for your landscaping needs. Also to add, Jeremy with the flatbed and forklift who added the about 30 boulders to our project, was excellent. He was patient and friendly with me as I worked with him to ensure every boulder was placed in its perfect spot.

WOW! My five star rating began the minute I received a message from the Aurora location manager, Josh. He intercepted the bid, for a rather large order, and immediately adjusted the price! Joshs proactive response was a deciding factor in giving the business to Pioneer Gravel. It showed he reviewed his locations business opportunities and would be focused on being able to satisfy the customer and get the order!Then, Daryl & Nathan came to deliver the order and the Five Star rating was further solidified by their great personalities, and their willingness to discuss where to best dump my loads that were needed in several areas on the property.I am a due diligence researcher when it comes to product, price and service. I had the presumption that Pioneer was a bit expensive. So, I got online and began finding the product at much cheaper prices per ton! BUT, by the time fuel charges and delivery were added to the tonnage price, Pioneer was averaging much less in total costs for this project.Im sure that I will always review my options, but the experience with Pioneer Gravel will go far with me in future projects.

We are commercial landscape maintenance company out of fort collins and have been using pioneer for years now. Unfortunately over the last few years theyre lack of organization and customer service is horrible.Multiple times theyve made mistakes with delivery locations, timing and pricing. I understand mistakes happen but at least take responsibility. In this industry loyalty is highly valued but apparently this company doesnt appreciate that. Because their unwillingness to make things right we will be taking our business and referring our clients elsewhere.

Customer service was terrible at the Fort Collins location. I walked in to pick up an order and the girl looked at me and sighed when I told her I was picking it up. The entire team was arguing with each other while we were in there as well. I’m not happy and won’t be returning.

Contractor Beware! This will not be a quick turn around trip and your load will always be over what you ask. Overpriced even at wholesale. Go to crystal it’s two miles south.

Had a great transaction on a large purchase from Pioneer. Great communication and the delivery was made quickly and very nicely unloaded on my property.

We ordered rock to be delivered. It began to rain and the driver didnt even attempt to make the climb up the 10minute mountain road. In all fairness it did poor for about 20min, but cleared up quickly. The road was not muddy and half of it is paved. My husband waited at the bottom of the road to help him find our cabin, because the driver sounded confused. My husband said the driver never arrived. The road is off 34, so the driver assumed the road was going to be bad and turned around. We have to wait another week now which will make our project more difficult. We were assured the delivery will be made, but not so confident now. We shall see. Very annoyed that the driver assumed rather than actually attempt the drive.

AWESOME! I am working on a non profits garden, the project is bigger than I anticipated but with the staff at Pioneer I was able to complete in time. They helped me choose rock, sand, dirt, that would work best and even the yard man helped me put them in my car. They not only showed me great customer service but also gave a generous donation to the garden. Pioneer your my garden HEROs!

Wish there was a zero star option....Ive been going here for the past 3 summers buying landscaping material. I purchased some mulch today and was charged for 2 cubic yards. We were in a 1993 Nissan pick up. I questioned the transaction while I was there because I thought it sounded higher than normal but paid for it and decided I had better check myself before I complained. I googled some truck bed sizes which said my 4x6x1.5 truck bed was 1.33 cubic ft so I called back and spoke with Brittney. She told me the wood chips were small so they could fit more in a small pick up, really??....when I argued a cubic yard was the same volume no matter what the material was she told me if I came back she would fix it. In all fairness, the load was piled over the top in the middle, so I would have thought 1.5 cubic yards was a fair compromise. I live 15 miles from the store, but yes I agreed come back to correct the transaction since she said she needed the credit card to fix the over charge issue.Once back in the store another female employee quickly walked out, took a quick glance at the truck through the window and said she had vast experience with loaders and their loader holds 3 cubic yards and my truck had 2 yards of material. Since I do not have loader experience and didnt have a tape measure handy I left. Well, now I am home again - 4 trips later, I have measured and recalculated. 6 x 4.5 x 1.5 (generously allowing for the amount of material over the top) is 1.5 cubic yards and NOT 2 cubic yards. At $47.50 I was over charged $23.75 plus tax and 30 extra miles of driving plus my time and aggravation. Not happy. Snotty sales people, especially when they are WRONG warrant 1 star Goggle Reviews. This place is great! I went in looking for some Mexican Beach Pebbles for my aquarium to decorate it, they usually charge $.44 a pound, but when I came back up to the office with 5 rocks the guy in a office said Pshh, you can just have those! I know it would have only cost me about $.44 or less, but I thought it was very nice of him to do that. Will definitely come back. They are much friendlier here than they are at Crystal Landscaping Supply.

Got garden soil. Specifically asked how clean it was. Would not buy this again as it has rocks and sticks in it. I wanted something I could use immediately. I will now have to sift all of the trash out before I can use it.

Bought a ton+ of road base material. Due to recent heavy rains, the material is saturated and weighs considerably more than when dry or even damp as it would be during normal weather. The guy in the yard who loaded it (and almost flattened my truck) told me very politely that the office could adjust the price since its so wet. But in the office, the clerk tells me he has no way of knowing how much is water and wont adjust price. His response is rudely stated: You can unload it.... Since it was already loaded and i dont have time to shovel it off by hand at their store, i went ahead and bought it, but i wont be going back....there are plenty of other sources here.Id recommend going straight to the quarry... its cheaper there too.
