Love this place! Great food, great ambience, great staff and the best grilled cheese sandwich I have ever had. EVER! This is one of the best-kept secrets in Fort Collins.

Absolutely me and my wifes favorite place in Colorado. Meat and Cheese boards are always 100% so delicious. Sandwiches are also amazing. Staff is always so friendly and welcoming, we will never stop coming here.

Experienced a delicious light meal with excellent wine pairing at the Fox and Crow. Comfortable setting with friendly staff. Indoor and patio seating available. My wife and I shared the French Kiss sandwich paired with the green salad topped with feta cheese. Well be back.

This place has a whole lot of cheese dishes. My favorite thing is the quiche, its so good. They have alot of stuff such as cheeses to take to go. Highly recommend you give it a shot. Fair price, good quality.

Checked this place out for the first time today. It is a delightful deli/cheese bistro. It was very clean and the 3 people working there greeted me as I walked in with smiles. I read through the whole menu and everything sounded good! They are more than a cheese/meat plate place — the sandwiches on the menu all sound delicious. I am a quiche fanatic, and was delighted to see homemade on the menu and thoroughly enjoyed the onion and gruyere quiche. (Heavy on fresh onions — but I love the onions) and the side salad with cranberries and shaved cheese was also delicious. $12 for the salad and quiche. Will come back for sure!

My wife and I happened in the fox and Crow last week while shopping for bread down the street. It was a delightful surprise; its been quite a few years since I was first in. Its a charming place! And thats not to mention the food, which we both enjoyed.

I received a cheese of the month gift card to the Fox and the Crow so I have been able to experience this great cheese shop /restaurant a few times it is great to be able to ask questions about the cheese and have really well informed answers One of the people we talked to actually took classes on cheeses The workers know where the cheeses are made they know what cheeses are vegetarian and the cheeses we have tried have been outstanding The shop itself is charming There is a comfortable seating area outside and tables inside. It can get pretty crowded at lunch. One other thing I like is they put sold out post it’s on lunch items that are sold out. More restaurants should do that. The only bad thing is that parking lot is one of The worst in town very tight spaces

Really fun little place to get charcuterie and relax. I love going on little day dates here to just get a drink and a board and hang out. Great selection of meats and cheeses, and I always let them go wild with whatever they may want to give me. One of the great things about this place is you can also simply buy their meats & cheeses to use yourself, and I often come here when shopping for recipes since their product and selection are always so great. Perfect place to get charcuterie, or even shop to make a board yourself at home. Love it

Just had lunch there today with 2 friends from out of town. It was exceptional on all counts. french onion soup was a big hit as was my FiggyPiggy Sandwich. Hubbs loved his cubano sandwich. Quiche got a 2 thumbs up review. The seating is cozy and welcoming and the staff are very professional and upbeat. I LOVE this place!

Establishment was clean, and on the smaller side...be early unless you do not mind long wait.😉 Service was courteous, knowledgeable, and assisted in our choice of meat and cheese trays to try.Quality of the food was excellent and very tasty. I like that you can choose your foods based on your likes, and they ask you many questions to get the right meat/cheese combination to your table.Very casual setting surrounded by country French atmosphere...the smaller interior allows for an intimate dining experience you can appreciate and enjoy.

My wife adored the BLT (its hard to find a good gluten free sandwich around town), and I had a very delicious Reuben. Staff was friendly, but the place was busy, so the wait was fairly long. But I had to grab some groceries at Sprouts next door anyway, so that worked out pretty well. I saw some of the people there were eating some pretty crazy-awesome-looking charcuterie, and I have a friend whos mildly obsessed with charcuterie, so Im totally gonna bring him here next time. I genuinely have no complaints, just be aware it might take awhile longer than you would probably expect to get your food if youre there at peak times. EDIT: As they point out in their reply it was mothers day weekend. I hadnt considered that, so Im sure they are faster on non-holidays!

My son and I stopped in to nosh and we split the ploghmans lunch and had a Seattle Cider. It was wonderful, the service was stellar. The chef came out to the patio and describe everything on our plate. It was above and beyond. The cheese and pate were delicious and the service really made us feel well cared for- nicely done!

This cute little place is jam packed with carefully picked, delicious cheeses and little nibbles that make them even better. They have wine and beer that compliment and lots of little jars of pickles and jams for sale too. My wife had a Mexican street corn Mac and cheese. Let me tell you, it didnt disappoint. The shop is nestled in a cute shopping center with a pretty good liquor store, and a new butcher. Tina, the owner has a little gem here!

I love this place - the food, wine, and service are always great. BUT its hard for me to enjoy my time here because of the size of the chairs. I am a plus-size person, so finding comfortable restaurant chairs is a struggle I am accustomed to. These chairs, however, are the WORST. They feel like torture devices. The arms wrap around the sides, leaving a really narrow space in the middle in which to sit. I had a tape measure in my purse, so out of curiosity, I measured the space between the chair arms where they met the base of the seat. 14 inches! Even a lot of thin people spread out more than 14 inches when they sit down. Im not sure who sat in these chairs and thought These are comfortable, lets put them all over our restaurant!To be fair, there is a large table inside that seems like a community table, and its surrounded by stools with no arms. The patio seats are also armless. But if its cold outside, or all the armless seats are taken, whats a person with a big butt supposed to do?As I said, as a plus size person, this is not a new struggle for me. However, these are by far the LEAST size-inclusive chairs Ive EVER found in a restaurant, and Im inclined to stop going because its hard not to feel like people of my size simply arent welcome here.

This is an exceptional little bistro. There are many delicious entrees and appetizers to choose from. Our favorites include the cheese and meat board, the french onion soup, and of course the mac and cheese! There is a good wine selection and the staff can be helpful when you are not sure what to select with your meal. Id give this 5 stars, but was disappointed that we were turned away from dinner Wednesday evening when we arrived 25 minutes prior to closing, despite there being several open tables on the patio. After waiting several minutes for a server or hostess to notice us, we were told there would not be time to enjoy our dinner and we were encouraged to order something to go. Having walked to the restaurant, we were not excited about walking home with our meals in a bag and so opted for another restaurant in the area. So - a fantastic bistro with excellent food, cheese specialties and wine - just be sure you arrive prior to 6:30 PM if you want to want to dine at the restaurant.

Get the Cuban! Sooo good 😊 Top 5 sandwich’s in town for sure.

This place has it own style. Food is good and sometimes great,, its all in What you order. This makes a good date night location because the wait staff gives you space. They do their job then move on. ☺️ Good food on a budget or if you want to spend more. Menu simple, not over whelming. Cute fixtures.

The food was great, plating was excellent with added suggested pairings. The reason this got 3 stars is our waitress was awful. We noticed she was the same for all tables so sadly I think it was just her personality. The other two guys waiting and running food were extremely helpful and warm though. Date was 10 October around noon. The lady that brought our cheese out and seemed to be super knowledgeable was great.

This place is amazing. I love thier ham and Brie sandwich and the cheese boards are to die for. Last time I brought my family (7 people) and the large fed us all comfortably. Super friendly people and they have the cutest salt and pepper shakers!

A little pricy, but you get what you pay for: amazing sandwiches that are delicious and creatively put together. The best recommendation I can give is the figgy piggy, but all sandwiches are great. Plus, they even have Mexican Coca-Cola. Awesome!

The food was great, A little pricey and portions were a little small. Definitely trendy with a soccer mom lunch crowd. Wine and aged cheese platters as well as a few exotic mac and cheese options are just a few of the unique offerings on the menu. This is the demographic I believe they were trying to reach, so no apologies. Definitely worth a try. Excellent staff and lots of little extra offerings to gander at while waiting in line.

Relaxed and friendly dining atmosphere. Presentation of cheese and meat boards is appealing and changes every time we go. They keep expanding and updating their menu to keep it fresh. Happy they re-located to a larger space and can accommodate a larger crowd. Entire family loves dining here!

To answer the owner question, we got 4 sandwiches and a Mac N Cheese, it was all overpriced. Other reviews mention the price as well.

Love, love this place! I am gluten free and cant eat cow dairy, every time I go they are happy to help me with a delicious meat and cheese board. Locally owned, you should stop by you will be impressed with the yummy food and great service!

Went in for the charcuterie. Got the small meat and cheese board (good for two ppl). The extras that come with the meat and cheeses are what makes this place extraordinary. Expect to pay though, place is expensive.

Amazing service and amazing food. I ordered a French onion soup with no cheese and they immediately asked me about dairy allergies because there is butter in the soup. I told them I try to limit my dairy intake. I ordered a sandwich that had cream cheese on it and they suggested goat cheese would be a better option because its not as heavy as cream cheese. Theres a wait for the food because everything is made fresh to order (we also went during lunch rush). The wait was absolutely worth it. Our food was, fresh, correct and delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

This is my go-to spot for lunch in Fort Collins and I always take out of town visitors there. No other French onion soup will ever do after having theirs. Never had thing on the menu I didn’t thoroughly enjoy!

Obsessed with cheese!—and this is by far the best artistically designed cheese plate I’ve ever had. True cheese experts who customize each cheese platter to the individual guest. To top it all off, excellent wine! Ask them what their favorite reds/whites are and you can’t go wrong.

Finally made it over there, and was happy to see that theyre doing so well that they recently moved into a larger space! The new space was beautiful, and the outdoor patio was very spacious and comfortable, including a large sectional for comfy lounging. And most importantly the food was spectacular. We enjoyed a variety of meats and pates, along with a glass of wine. The staff was incredibly helpful. Im so happy to know about another little local place near home where we can enjoy some simple, delicious, high quality eats!

Fun atmosphere, great cheese boards!

This was an incredible experience for my family. We got a cheese platter and some soups and appetizers. The way they mix and pair flavors and textures is incredible. Ive never liked sweet cheese before this, but they made me really appreciate them. I was amazed by how well all the flavors worked together. It is a little pricey and not super filling if youre eating that as a full meal. But as a place that is more focused on the flavor experience, I loved it.

Best french onion soup ever. Monthly grilled cheese and mac and cheese specials. And how could you ever go wrong with a meat, cheese, or meat and cheese plate. Of which if you really like something you got you can get some to go. Also serves many different wines and has 6 taps of local beer and cider.

Fox and Crow is a cute little bistro in mid-town Fort Collins. Has a great selection of cheeses, but the highlight is its sandwich and small bites menu. I wish it had a little better wine and beer selection, but is still one of the best places to get a bite to eat in Fort Collins.

My experiences here are always pleasant. Staff are friendly and know what theyre talking about. Its a great place to catch up with friends over a cheese board and drinks, or grab a quick lunch with their other options. They have a special mac n cheese and grilled cheese that changes monthly... Definitely keeps me coming back.

We found The Fox and the Crow on a recommendation from the kind folks at Feisty Spirits. In addition to their very knowledgeable cheese mongers, The Fox and the Crow features its cheeses in unbelievably tasty dishes. The hardest decision we had to make was picking just one. I had the Caprese Grilled Cheese Sandwich and it was fantastic. But the dish that stole the show at our table, was the Amazing Grace Macaroni and Cheese. Well be stopping back here again for more cheesy treats the next time we are in Fort Collins.

My favorite place to go for cheese and wine. Their grilled cheese is to die for! Always greeted with a smile and the staff knows so much about cheese that I am never disappointed with their selections! This has been a 5 star place since day one!

I absolutely adore this place. Their cheese platters are always good with lots of variation in things to accompany the cheese. Service is always lovely & they use cloth napkins: no waste! Happy Hour deals & their grilled cheese sandwiches are the best. And the price of their cheese is really reasonably priced! They also have a points program to collect points for every $1 of your purchase.

This was some of the best macaroni I have ever had in my life. This was in our top places we stopped while travelling. The waitress was also super friendly and we enjoyed sitting outside.

Decent tasting food but over-priced what you get. Service was pretty poor for such a small place that was not at all crowded. They do have good cheese but it is difficult to get filled up with what you get.

Looks like a neat little bistro but we called the cheese shop for fresh Mouco cheese curds only to drive all the way and find the refrigerator had frozen then. The Welsh Rabbit had them and they were so good! Welsh Rabbit was also $7.50 vs $10

What a great little restaurant. Small cozy and full of character. Tried the special grilled cheese sandwich (their take on a Monty) and it was spectacular. I love a good grilled cheese sandwich and have had them all over the country, this one easily lands in my top three. Oh yea, also tried the made from scratch mac and cheese and was blown away.

Loved everything about the food I got. Only thing I have to pick at is that the tomato bisque tasted more like a chili base! Bisque is usually sweet and doesnt contain spices like cumen and pepper so I was a bit miffed when I tasted it because I love the sweetness and creaminess of bisque and didnt get that with my selection. I was pleased by the spider web design though, a fun Halloween touch. My significant other ordered a grilled cheese and we both loved it as well as the small meat and cheese plate we got. Found this place on Google maps after looking for the distillery next store. My boyfriend and I were amazed with the pictures we saw and the great reviews (he was also amazed with the 360 photo on Google as hes in marketing). We stopped in and I, being in meat science, was VERY impressed with the quality of the meats and cheeses on display. We decided to split an Up the Steam and were amazed by both smell and taste when it arrived, so much so that the boyfriend went in to order a second sandwich to split😂.

To start the decor in this place is off the charts. And theres an amazing atmosphere to match. The gentleman who served me(whom I believe was the owner) was an absolute delight and the woman who greeted us was equally as lovely. The glass bottles for water they give all the tables were a great touch, as were the tulip glasses. Their grilled cheese(they arent kidding when they say they take it seriously) is hands down the best Ive ever had. The diversity in wine, cheese and meats is almost overwhelming(in a good way) the possibilities are endless. Theres no question about the quality of everything from the moment you walk in. A must when visiting Fort Collins, going on a date, or just to meet up with an old friend.

I had a Grilled Cheese Sandwich that was probably the best that Ive ever had. Gruyere cheese with blackberry jam and sweet ham. It was AMAZING! You have to try this place...

This new location really makes The Fox and the Crow. Their old location didnt feel like a wine and cheese shop but rather a strip mall deli. I enjoy coming here and having a glass of wine and some cheese. Highly recommend for a happy hour of quick bite.

This place is amazing! I had the French kiss sandwich on GL bread and it was the best sandwich I have ever had. When asked mustard, jam or greens I asked then for the suggestion and his was spot on. The GL bread was warm and fresh and the brie melted in my mouth. I would highly suggest this place for any occasion. I have looked into them for catering and they were very pleasant and helpful booking them. Great experience both times. Tina and Kayla were the ones I dealt with on the catering side and both were professional and helpful.
