I had a great experience purchasing a 2022 Carnival from Fort Collins Kia. Matt Austrino was very responsive and communicative. Needing to drive up there from Denver, he had me fill out paperwork beforehand and I was in and out of the dealership in a reasonable amount of time. The finance office was also not overly pushy which was refreshing, especially considering the current state of the car buying landscape. I would definitely recommend working with Matt and Fort Collins Kia if you are in the market for a Kia vehicle in the greater Denver area.

Communicated all day with me via text since I was working, and he was a no BS sales consultant which I especially appreciated. During this difficult time of finding a new car, let alone buying one. Fort Collins KIA stands out. We were not looking at any specific car. Visiting the Dealers in our area. Finding little. Then we went to F C KIA and fell for the Sportage. Again with the shortages though. Michael helped us. We left discouraged, not due to Michael but inventory. This was Tuesday, Thursday we get a call from Micheal, a 2022 Sportage Nightfall had arrived. OUR Sportage we would soon find out. Beautiful car, love at first sight. The KIA line is impressive, design craftsmanship and quality is beyond our wants or needs. Michael went the extra mile. Bait and switch? I responded to a Facebook post about Tellurides that were not spoken for. Sales person was very cordial. Alex took my $1000 credit card deposit. I was notified that the vehicle was being delivered Oct 22 and I made a 2 day hotel reservation. I confirmed by text the price they would offer on my trade (attached pic). Several online offers came in higher, but I wanted to trade. I drove 8 hours and 510 miles overnight, showered and napped at hotel, and drove to Fort Collins Kia. Arrived there and was offered $9000 less for my trade than original amount offered. I explained the text communications and showed printouts of other offers, but manager wouldnt budge. I did not complain because $9000 difference would have been too hard to overcome and it would have wasted more of my time. I drove away without the car. So I am out $130 hotel, $130 in gas, and put over 1000 miles on my car. Very disappointed! This sure left me with the impression of a bait and switch. Beware to get everything in writing. In my 58 years this is the first time I have been treated like this. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool my twice, shame on me. Wont let this happen again.

I had been looking at the 2022 Kia Telluride for a while. But in California, where I live, all the dealers were charging $5K-$10K over MSRP. I started reaching out nationwide to see if other dealers might be charging less.Matt A. from Fort Collins let me know that they had a Telluride coming in relatively soon that matched my specifications and that they did not charge over MSRP there. So I happily moved forward with them and put a deposit down over the phone.I was able to do the majority of the purchase process over the phone. So that when I arrived in Ft. Collins to pick up the SUV, I was in and out of there very quickly. The whole process was very nice and hassle free. Id like to thank Matt, Rocky and everyone else involved for making this buying experience the best Ive ever had. Thanks!

Service department is dreadfully misleading.I went in this past week to get a couple recalls taken care of along with getting some issues looked at with the car (the clock spring had gone out at 40,000 miles and the adjustment motor on the driver-side mirror stopped working).The recalls were taken care of without issue. It was the reports that they gave me for everything else that were the huge cause for concern. They told me that I would need a completely new assembly for my mirror (~$700) along with over $1000 in additional maintenance and repairs. I had a feeling that this would be the case, so I already had an appointment with a trusted mechanic scheduled for the following day.When I took my car to the other shop the next day, I gave them the whole packet of reports/quotes that I got from KIA’s service department. Come to find out, a vast majority of the maintenance and repairs that KIA stated as β€œneeding immediate attention” were either far from being needed or were ENTIRELY UNNECESSARY. As for the necessary repairs, the mechanic giving me this second opinion quoted me hundreds of dollars less than KIA did for the same work, and also informed me that replacing my whole mirror assembly was far from the only solution to the problems I had been experiencing with it.To top things off, when I got my car back from the KIA service department, there was a terrible smell trapped in my car(like a combination of motor oil and BO) that has yet to come out despite my attempts to get rid of it. I’m probably going to have to get it detailed to actually clear it out.Moral of the story, if you have an issue with your car that can be taken care of outside the dealership, then I would definitely advise taking it to a highly reviewed mechanic in the surrounding area. I promise you will have a much better experience.

*Update*a week after the acclaimed GM promised to call me the next day, he still has failed to contact me again. He claimed he would find out how much it would cost to make this vehicle safe and drivable. Obviously the managers at this dealership are not willing to sell vehicles safe or worth bhying.Test drove a 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser this weekend. This vehicle is tan with 101,000 miles. Had called on it the saturday before, and after being told I would be called for a test drive that day, i did not hear from sales for a week. Vehicle arrived at my house with a cracked and chipped windshield, and shook terribly at 60 mph. In just a few hours it was dripping oil onto my driveway. Had it looked at by a local shop, the oil seal at the back of the engine, that requires removing the transmission to change is dripping oil. The right side valve cover is dripping oil, it shakes horribly, and when stopping at slow speeds has a terrible slamming sensation that shakes the entire vehicle. On monday i told the salesman and stated i wanted to purchase before next weekend after repairs were made. Then the salesman told me repairs had been started. After not responding to me at several attempts to contact him, today on wednesday he told me they were not doing repairs. I pointed out to him the vehicle is not safe to drive, he told me the price would have to be raised to fix the vehicle. I also showed him the vehicle does not have a factory tow package, full time 4wd (only available with a manual trans) or the rear differential locker. I asked him twice to have the sales manager call me, called several times to speak to the sales manager and was left on hold with the sales manager never answering. Sales manager Justin finally spoke with me after calling a couple more times. He told me in order to do the repairs to make the vehicle safe, he would need to raise the price. He seemed very unconcerned that a vehicle in that condition had been delivered to me to test drive.on friday, i received a call from another manager stating he believes the vehicle is worth $32,000 and again wanted me to pay more than book value with no repairs done, saying he would put new tires on it and call it good. I had plainly stated monday through call and text message that I wanted repairs done, and wanted to buy it by this weekend. It is now saturday and they have done no repairs. Contact me for more specific issues with their tan fj cruiser and I will provide the vin and inspection report.

Unfortunately cant recommend this dealer. Bad experience. Here are a few tips that you may find helpful:1) Keep the copy of your agreed purchase price and have your own copy in hand when you sit down to start signing papers.2) Confirm the agreed purchase price and cost break down in your loan agreement are consistent before signing! Actually look at the numbers and pull out your calculator if you need to.3) Your finance person should be able to clearly explain every number in your final cost breakdown. If they cant or wont its a BIG red flag.4) The agreed purchase price is NOT an estimate!5) Always remember Caveat Emptor because nice doesnt mean accurate or honest.I left this dealership with a very bad taste in mouth. I drove straight to another kia dealership to purchase my new car. The experience was fast, the numbers clear, consistent, and I drove home with my new car that day. Night and day!

Absolutely AMAZING experience! This was my first time purchasing a vehicle from a car dealership & I was recommended to go check out KIA in Fort Collins after visiting a few other dealerships. I was greeted by a wonderful staff & helped by Josh. Josh listened to exactly what kind of vehicle I was looking for, the needs I needed met & price point. He showed me a 2017 KIA Sportage Turbo & I was instantly in love with the performance & space of the vehicle. After a long test drive up the Horsetooth Canyon (which was a plus to feel how the vehicle performs on tight turns & steep slopes) Josh & I looked at price point, CarFox & details of the vehicle. At no point, did I feel pressured to purchase the vehicle that day or did Josh try to upsell me on a higher priced vehicle. I have a rule to always give it 24 hours to think on a big decision, so Josh offered the car to me the next day to take it for a longer test drive & see if my personal training equipment would fit in this vehicle and still give me extra space. I absolutely appreciated that gesture so much from Josh & KIA!I am so happy to say that after much research into the safety features and overall reviews on the KIA Sportage Turbo, I purchased this 2017 KIA Sportage Turbo in September 2020 from KIA Fort Collins! I have been driving her since and I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!Not only that, but when it came time to get an oil change, KIA Auto Service got me in that day, had it complete in a timely manner & returned my vehicle to me washed & cleaned! Rachel was fantastic to work with! She was attentive, real, asked the right questions, and took care of our needs efficiently. We came in late, with only an hour to close, in our desperate need to find a new car (our relatively new car was destroyed in a tornado) and she was an absolute joy! Do NOT bring your car to this place for service! My KIA is having engine problems and is involved in the recall. It has been in 3 times in 3 weeks. They say that they fixed it for now- and then tell me that I must drive it until it breaks down again, which is very unsafe with my 10 year old daughter riding in the car. This third time my car has now been there for 8 days without one phone call from them. I havent been able to bring my child to school, or run errands as this is my only car. They REFUSE to get me a rental car. This is the most horrible situation Ive ever been with a car, and I BOUGHT THE CAR NEW in 2015! It has just disappeared into their garage they have not called they have not emailed me about it in 8 days. It is the most unprofessional service I have ever seen. And they are dealership. IF YOU ARE IN A RECALL SITUATION WITH KIA- DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO FORT COLLINS KIA.

Made a great deal with Rocky He was very knowledgeable about the car we were looking at. Love the car and how it drives.. Big enough to meet our needs but small enough to handle with ease.The only negative was when we looked at the car it had floor mats in the back. Got home no floor mats. This review is for the Service Department. I moved to the Fort Collins area in July of last year (2020). Since then, I have had my car in for service at Fort Collins Kia twice. Both times I told the service advisor that I was going to go for a walk and asked them to call or text me on my cell phone when my car was ready. Both times they failed to call me and I wasted hours while my car sat in the parking lot.A couple weeks ago I called to schedule a service appointment for an important safety recall on my vehicle. The phone rang for several minutes and then went to voicemail. I left a message, but nobody called me back. I tried several more times, but the phone would just ring and go to voicemail.By this point I was getting aggravated, so I finally spoke to someone in the sales department and I asked him to leave a message for the senior Service Department manager (Tracy) to call me back. Tracy called, but he sounded rushed and was apparently trying to catch a plane for a trip over Memorial Day weekend. So I told him it was ok to call me back on Tuesday after the weekend when he had more time to talk. He did not call me back on Tuesday like he promised. So, I asked to speak to his supervisor, the General Manager (Nathan).I had what seemed like a productive discussion with Nathan and he assured me that he had taken action to fix the problems I was having. I asked him if someone would now answer the phone if I called his service department. He assured me they would. I just called them about an hour ago and, once again, the phone rang for several minutes and went to voicemail. That was the proverbial last straw.I’m done trying to reach a human being in the Fort Collins Kia Service department. I called another Kia dealer and their service representative answered the phone right away. I will be taking my car there from now on.

UPDATE 10/10/21 : I have added 1 star because FC Kia Sales reached out to me about the alternator and said it would be fixed at no charge (thanks Rusty & Anthony). HOWEVER, the car has been in service for over 2 weeks now and * I * have had to contact * them * to get updates about it. While FC Kia has great reviews about their Sales and Service Advisors, they really need to work on improving the Service Department as a whole, especially with regard to communication. It seems like maybe they are understaffed and dont have enough space or time to deal with all of the cars they are selling, which is a problem when they are the only Kia dealer in town.9/12/21 - My experience buying a used car from FC Kia was not as good as I hoped it would be, but I also have to take responsibility for falling for the stereotypical used car sales ploys and wanting my son to have a first car that he really liked. I didn’t listen to my gut instinct telling me β€œalternator” when the car had to be jumped before the test drive, and 3 weeks after purchasing it - and jumping it twice - I took it back to FC Kia and was informed that I had bought the car β€œas is”, and it would be a $700+ repair. LESSON LEARNED: Listen to your gut, get the CarFax, then GO HOME and make a list of things to negotiate. If you go back and the car is sold, then it obviously wasn’t the car for you, but if it’s still there maybe you’ll be able to take it home and not have it die on you a week or two later.

Scam. So frustrated and disappointed. I was as quoted the cost would be msrp, tax and dealer handling. So I placed a deposit to hold the car. When the car arrived I drove an hour to get it. When I sat down to finalize the deal, there were fees that were not disclosed. One was VTR (Vehichle theft registration) this is a process most all other dealers do not do. Ft Collins kia took it upon them selves to etch a number onto the car and charge me for it. At no time was I advised this would happen. Nor did I authorize them to modify or enhance the vehicle. When I called it out they refused to remove the fee and firmly stated this is what they do to all their cars, if I didnt want to pay the fee I could be refunded my money and they would sell it to someone else. We dont negotiate on this.. I have talked to other dealerships and asked about this process. They called this process a scam because it is a way for a dealership to pad their profit.Sad they think they can dictate what after market options are mandatory. Even if that option is not offered from the manufacturer.

Absolutely thrilled with my Tynans Kia experience. I worked with Carmen and, though I came in looking for a Kia Soul, she introduced me to the Kia Forte5. I didnt even have the Forte5 on my radar screen, but when I described my needs, she mentioned it, we went for a test drive, and it was a far better fit for my needs than the Soul (which I also drove). Im grateful that she took the time to find out what I wanted and needed. As an added bonus, we got to take Dinky (Tynans mascot) up to Horsetooth for a picture op. Really grateful that even though its a big financial decision we got to laugh and joke around. Also, for any LGBT+ folks, Carmen and this dealership were amazing and welcoming. Overall, highly recommended.

I just bought out my Sportage that I had been leasing. Tony was absolutely incredible with helping get everything taken care of, he got me in and out of there quickly and explained all of my options to me. My family and I have all bought and leased our Kias from Tony and he is just absolutely wonderful to work with on such a big purchase.I ended up having a nail in my tire (the day I bought it out). The service team got on it right away with ordering the tires I needed. They made it easy to schedule an appointment and get my car in for some other maintenance issues and my new tires. I dropped my car off at 730, picked it up when I got off at 4, everything was completed, they explained what was done. Not only the professionalism.. they are hilarious in there, make you feel at home, and get things done.

I went in to get a Skid Plate installed, while in the shop it turned out that my radiator bracket was bent at the bottom and needed to be replaced for the SkidPlate to be installed. I go ahead and let them replace the Bracket, turns out another part needed to be replaced as well or it would have been useless to do the service. After all that I walked out spending a little more than $1000 extra than what I expecting to pay for the 1 service. I get my car and drive home, when I park I hear boiling coming from the front of my car. My car was overheating, I popped my hood and after looking around it looked like they forgot to plug the Radiator fan back in. I call them to let them know, they came to tow my car the next morning (they insisted I drive it back to them while it was overheating). I get a call that my car was ready to get picked up and the mechanic was sorry that he forgot to plug a hose back in... I pick up my car and had no issues this time on the drive home (a colder day). Fast forward to the next time I drive my car I smell an awful smell (like something is burning) and turns out my car is overheating again and Im stuck on the side of the road. Pop the hood and again to my surprise, the Radiator fan is STILL unplugged. I call back and tell them, so they send another tow truck to pick me up and they tell me they are gonna run all these tests to see what’s wrong. I told them as I told them the first time β€œthe radiator fan is not plugged in”. They call me in the next day to pick up my car and they say β€œoh we noticed the radiator was not plugged back in, sorry”. That’s what I called and told them both times they sent a tow truck.What’s more disappointing is that they said they said they thoroughly inspected everything and found a hose unplugged the first time... (so an unplugged hose that I probably wouldn’t have noticed if they didn’t plug my radiator fan back in). I called to speak to the Supervisor and it took him a full week and some days to respond (only reason is because I called back again).Money well spent right?

Michael was AMAZING to work with, I called to see if I could even get financed Since I had been turned down by Markley, and they got it done within 2 hours! I signed for my Hyundai Elentra and drove it off the lot the next day after everything was finalized! The one thing I will say is I did have to go do the Emissions myself, but they gave me a voucher and had everything for me on a USB! They were so nice.

I don’t usually go out of my way to leave reviews. Generally speaking someone has to really go above and beyond for me to have me do this. My wife and I are young so generally buying car process for us is always a fiasco and people try to take advantage of us. Generally feel like they can be more pushy and all in all really just make the experience unpleasant. However Rocky and Ryan really made us feel thought of, feel comfortable and feel as though we were dealing with friends. In today’s day and age authentic customer service experiences are becoming less and less frequent. I’m very happy with the purchase of my 2021 Telluride and it’s been a pleasure dealing with the whole staff but I can really see why rocky has so many salesperson of the month awards cheers to another for him!

Finance part was pretty straight forward and no haggle or no push to sale any added gimics. The kid is great!Just purchased a new Telluride EX. Initially went through the Costco Auto Buying program but there was only 1 dealer in the entire country that was honoring the program price on the Telluride. ($1500.00 to $1700.00 below dealers invoice)We would have waited 9 to 10 months for delivery.Every other dealer wanted between $3000.00 to $7000.00 over MSRP for the vehicle.We paid MSRP for our vehicle and the salesman Matt was outstanding. Regardless of the all the questions and demands he never showed the slightest sign of aggravation or anger. You know most people go their whole lives without learning how to control their emotions.Were very happy with the car and no matter what line Matt decides to take through life, hell be very successful. Hes mastered the hardest part.
