Booked an appointment online via the GMC app for my new 2021 2500HD AT4. When I arrived, the service rep asked if I had booked online as though that was a problem. If thats a problem, then fix your online booking system OR eliminate it. The check engine light came on in a truck thats less than one year old. I had an 8am appointment and arrived 15 minutes early. Its now 1:15pm, so Ive been sitting here at the dealership for well over 5 hrs and NOT ONCE has anyone come in to give me an update. Not exactly good customer service. They were very prompt in checking me in and showing me to their customer lounge, but past that I cant say anything has been good because there hasnt been any communication at all.
They were very personable with my aging parents when buying a new car. When they went back to learn about the electronics and technology the gentleman was very patient while teaching them.
Was a good purchasing experience other than the salesman not being not very knowledgeable about the truck. I wanted GPS like my old truck and he said over and over it has it. Which turned out it does not have it. And they didnt do an initial OnStar call with me and go over the features in the truck. I dont mind to much being I already had a Chevy but still would have been nice.

(I do buy a vehicle now and then from my son who lives in Florida) It’s hard to compete with family, but then Dellenbach is almost like family. We have been doing business together for a long time.

These guys don’t know how to balance tires! I took my truck back and talked to John Dellenbach and he claimed they balanced the wheels and tires, but it still didn’t drive correctly. I spoke to John again about his guys not fixing my truck correctly, and he said there’s nothing he can do. He even told me none of this service workers want to work hard. GO BUY YOUR CHEVY OR SUBARU SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Their sales team is top notch. Their service team doesn’t even deserve one star. Save yourself the hassle and headache and buy from a different company.
I find they frequently fail to do things I specifically ask (replace air filters), and some of the complimentary inspection tasks are often not performed - like they are checking boxes, without actually looking at the vehicle. I once took a car in with 1/32” left on the tire treads.they reported my tires were good, so I asked them to look again. They then said my treads were low, and they recommended new tires soon…. I keep going there because what they actually do they seem to do fairly well, and I havent really found a shop thats any better in Fort Collins.

Based off my experience at other dealerships, this was not a great experience. I never felt like a valued customer. Nothing about the experience would want me to come back. It took all day for work to get done. The service writer really didnt know much about the recalls. When I would call through out the day, I never got a good answer as to when they would start working on it. When I picked it up, it was pretty much....heres you keys...good bye.One of my concerns of a trim piece, I was basically told: Yes, we know its a problem, sorry we cant do anything about it. To me that is a terrible response and very very poor quality and engineering. Im 99% sure this is my first and last GM I will buy. I will go back to the Nissan Leaf.

I have had my truck in numerous times for issues. One being transmission issues and I brought it in because in auto or 4hi there has been and is now getting worse a vibration/grinding as well as a metal slapping in the engine that is getting worse. Nothing is being done about it. I did recently get a lift installed but these issues started way before that was installed. I got a second opinion at a certified shop and they confirm the transfer case is going out and think a lifter is on its way out. I have been a dellenbach customer for years and I will not recommend them to anyone anymore because they try to get out of doing warranty work. I have since contacted gm directly and they have a case going for me and they want to get my truck repaired regardless of having the lift or not.Update:Thank you for your response. I have been in touch with gm and they approved the repair modified or not. They have been trying to reach you as well as another local gm dealer to get this taken care of. I have a case number with them and have been getting good response from my case manager at gm and he has been in touch every couple of days. He is going to get back to me on Monday 6/14/21 to give me an update on what he has heard from you or other dealers about getting this fixed. I have a trip coming up in August and I dont want to get stranded in the middle of nowhere.Again thank you for your response. I have been a customer of yours for years and have sent numerous people to you for purchasing a new or used vehicle.

Our salesperson Craig was amazing. He was so helpful and knowledgeable and kept the process simple. We ended up having an issue with the truck we bought (bed size wasnt right, it was our fault) and he quickly figured out a solution. He was happy to help and was never annoyed with us contacting him about our issue. To us, that’s a sign of true great customer service. Would have liked to have known that the power steering recall was just an evaluation first and that Id have to come back a second time. It took an extra 15 minutes or so to pick up my vehicle because Dellenbach service dept wasnt aware of the direct-to-dealer discount coupons that Chevy national office is emailing past customers. You might want to have the national office give you a heads up. Otherwise, your staff are always professional and courteous and a pleasure to work with.I appreciate the response from Dellenbach. The power steering part came in last week and Dellenback quickly called me back to set up an appointment. The service appointment went smoothly and happy to have the faulty power steering replaced.
I’ve had many bad experiences at car dealerships but at Dellenbach I felt so comfortable and appreciated. We had no luck on my first visit but after countless texts with Drew we were able to find me the perfect car. Felt very nice to be remembered and not pressured into anything. I began my vehicle search online and then contacted Dellenbach Motors by phone. I initially spoke with Laurie who assisted me and connected me with Ben. Ben helped me with a truck that was not yet on the lot, but in transit. Ben helped me with the purchase of the truck and my trade in all by phone. When the truck arrived to the dealership, we confirmed all the paperwork details by phone and I was able to turn in my trade, complete the financing paperwork and take delivery of my new truck in about an hour. This has to be the best, fastest, and easiest vehicle purchase I have ever made. I drove 2 1/2 hours to get to Dellenbach Motors and would do it again! The service department has gone down hill. Also if you get mad the mechanics retaliate. Found my oil filter and drain plug way over tightened and oil over filled. They will lie to you. I found this out after not letting them repair something they said failed and did it myself. Also bought a certified used cadillac that the shop cant find why it smells like antifreeze all the time.. im just waiting for a catastrophic failure that I will have to deal with and the stress of that shop fixing it. I was a dedicated customer of Dellenbach until this past year of disappointment. Im not sure of its poor management or if society is really suffering that much from getting honest knowledgeable people but its definitely frustrating. Im back to fixing stuff myself..

Bought a 2012 Ford Focus from them and within a few months of purchase the tires blew out, the battery died, and the fuse blew, I replaced the battery and then it died again. These guys scammed me. Dont buy any car from them unless you want to spend every penny you have to keep the car functioning for a few weeks

He made sure the process was easy and even helped me set up my bluetooth for my phone to be connected to my car. Got a great low price on a brand new Chevy Trax. The body shop fixed the small dent on the passenger side for free and it looks like it never happened. Ive been able to come to Arden with questions after I bought my car. I had my truck looked at to figure out any potential issues it might have before moving to the east coast. Dellenbach gave me a very uninformative list of repairs that contained a part name and a price. The rep I talked to wouldnt give me any information about why the repairs needed to be done or any insight into what was actually wrong other than how much it would cost to fix. When I took my truck to another mechanic they looked at it and walked me through everything he thought needed to be repaired while I was right there. Not only did dellenbach lie about the severity of the repairs but they were also not nearly as afforable. Overall, unless you have a warranty youre better of going to a different mechanic. The only goal dellenbach has is making money, not honesty.
I will not be returning as a customer. When they pulled my truck up, a screw rolled out from under the hood. When I asked the guy about it, he shook his head and said “I don’t know” he didn’t bother to go ask or help me at all. He just walked away. I ended up asking David (service advisor) about it. He took my truck back and it was a screw to the filter they just replaced. If your techs can’t take the time to screw 4 screws back in, I hesitate to trust their work. Attention to detail is a big thing for me. I feel like your dealership just rushed through my service and my truck needing an oil change was an inconvenience to everyone in the department.
6/2019: Damaged my car! Took my car in to replace a part that had been recalled. They took my car through their car wash and it experienced damaged to my sunroof. Was told that it was bad luck and that it wasnt their problem. Was very upset about how callous and rude they were about it. They could have at least offered to clean up the mess that was made when the wind deflector was ripped to shreds.Edit 9/2019: Thank you for the reply on Google (3 months later) but I had talked to a representative from your company over the phone a week after I had posted the review. They promised to fix the problem and promised to contact me when they had a solution...which your reply is the first contact I have had from your company since that phone call. Why would you think it is professional to put what happened in quotes. This is the exact behavior I received when I went to your company. The facts are that I brought my car in for a repair and it came back damaged. I didnt have the car during that time and I am frustrated that you continue to treat me like I have been unreasonable in my request to have what was damaged replaced. I have had nothing but poor service from your company and how can I in good conscience not warn others about the treatment I have /continue to receive from your company. I would be happy to change our review if everything is made right. I will contact you and post updates as needed.

This was our first experience with Dellenbach amd it was great from start to finish. Kendra in the BDC was our first contact and was able to answer all our questions and the Julia was our salesperson who was very knowledgeable. She got us on a test drive and was not pushy at all, she made sure we were comfortable with our purchase. Wendy was the Sales Manager who made sure everything on our lease lined up and was able to make sure we got the payment we were looking for! All around great staff and my wife couldnt be happier with her truck, we will recommend everyone looking for a Chevy to come visit these folks!
Im thankful that the team was able to add an alignment to my oil change and it didnt take much extra time at all. However, I was a little disheartened to learn that alignments are not covered in my warranty.
The service staff are always so friendly and willing to help. Taylor even double-checked to make sure the invoice was correct. I also very much appreciate the measures taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19 with different spaces for clean and dirty pens.

Since I purchased my car here a year and a half ago, I have taken it to be serviced at the dealership. In the past Ive had a good experience, but this time I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation and waited almost 2 hours. Had i not made an appointment I would be more understanding of having to wait so long, but I did make an appointment and was not expecting an almost 2 hour wait. I had to text the person that was helping me to see how much longer it would be, they didnt come into the lounge to check in to let me know why my wait was so long. The wait was due to an oil truck being parked in front of my car so they couldnt move it out of the shop. They did discount my service charge for the delay which I appreciated, but I am overall disappointed with my experience today.
My March 6, 2021 experience with the service department was good. I have to say the Taylor, the service writer that assisted me, was a welcome change from past encounters. During the past 3 months I opted to travel to another city/dealer just so I would not have to deal with attitudes that are unacceptable.
I have 5 vehicles and have been buying cars and trucks for over 30 years. This dealership gives you a great deal on your new car and a awesome deal on your trade in.Would highly recommend this dealership and I will be a return customer.

I have always had a great experience with the Subaru service. Polite and helpful as you check in/out. I have never needed service beyond standard service and a couple recalls ( thats why I buy Subaru). I generally drop off early and they get me home quickly with a shuttle. In the early COVID-19 days they gave me a lender because they were not doing shuttle service. Car is almost always done early. Only complaint I have ever had was length of time it took to get in for a recall fix, but dont think thats really on them.
BEST DEALER I HAVE DONE BUSINESS WITH!!! We moved to Fort Collins and had worked with their service department with an issue on a Colorado covered under warranty. They were able to work around my schedule without issues and resolve my problem. I also work with their parts department on a weekly basis and are happy to help with good information and prices are fair. We bought a Chevy Bolt EV from Drew in sales and was the best experience by far and we buy cars almost every year. We first got a price from Drew with a trade then shopped around mainly because they did not have the color we wanted and there were some cheaper dealers in Denver. Well after two very very bad experiences we didnt want to give our money to the other dealers so we called Drew up and he was willing to honor the original deal and get the color we wanted shipped in. They were willing to ship the car before we signed all the papers but we were sold and got the NO PRESSURE deal signed. It was actually more money because of the shipping but we were not going to buy from anyone else at this point. Drew even let us drive the car we traded in while we waited for the car to be delivered. We will be buying out next vehicle from them without hesitation.

I recently had an appointment to get a vehicle repaired here. I was very disappointed, they were 5 days late getting started on my car and when I went to pick it up the windshield was broken. They did not attempt to help us, just gave me the name of a local glass company. The original repair seems do be done ok, just very disappointed in the customer service we received.

I had my 2020 Silverado serviced here. Well still have the problem. Been trying to get back in for almost 3 months now but David In service tells me there’s no full size vehicles available (I’m a tall guy) but I pass 2 trucks this morning that says dellenbach courtesy vehicle. Now either those two guys I passed have had those trucks for 2 months or I’m just completely being ignored. None the less another gm dealership will be getting my business and I absolutely will not recommend this service department.

Purchased a used (but pretty much brand new Mazda CX-9) from Robert Bates at Dellenbach. My husband and I couldnt be happier with our experience. We actually had a better experience here then we did at Spradley Barr. I am very impressed Robert never tried to sway us one way or the other. We actually test drove a brand new Chevy Traverse but ultimately decided on the Mazda. Robert worked hard for us to get us the best deal. We happened to be in on a very busy Saturday and we had been told they were a little short handed on the financing side. That part took awhile but everyone there apologized and tried to make us comfortable. (Kuddos to the guy that googled how to use the popcorn maker. The normal guy that does was out. I was starving at that little act of kindness helped me not get hangry :) ) Once we got into financing the guy had everything ready, and had us in and out in like 5 minutes, also apologizing for our wait.Plus we bought a as is vehicle from a chevy dealership. Once we got home we realized there was a couple dings on the roof and hood. Called Robert he got us right in, they gave me a rental and fixed with no charge. Great customer service experience.We are so pleased with our new vehicle that I see us hanging onto it for awhile, but when we are ready Dellenbach has won our business.Thanks Robert

Best experience weve had at a car dealership in decades!Low-key, friendly, courteous, efficient sales staff, good price on the vehicle we bought, and a fair price given on our trade-in. One of the things that really impressed me was the fact that the first time we stopped in, at closing time no less, one of the staff took the time to bring a very similar car to what we were looking for out of the back lot so we could look at it and sit in it.It was past the cut-off date to order a 2020 Colorado, so we had to look on-line at what was in the area, and found a Colorado that was 99% what we would have ordered. The people at Dellenbach did a dealer-swap with the other dealer, and we had our new truck the next day. GREAT service!Too bad they didnt have any C8 Corvettes in stock, or we probably would have taken TWO cars home with us!

I don’t trust the cost and items in the inspection provided above and beyond the items brought the car in for service. One item mentioned is obviously not true once I brought the car home. I’ll be getting a second opinion on all items mentioned.
I bought a truck that I loved the look of. Glad to get a Chevrolet I could depend on. I had an 03 Suburban with check engine light on and not dependable. This 2020 with 2k miles has already not started for me and no one can fix the whistling sound from AC. I had to strip off a Chevrolet dealer purchased big deflector along with antenna bc they hoped I would just let it go. I ended up taking it off and still has the issue. The going back and forth makes my stomach turn.Update* after six visits back and forth. They agreed to order a new bug deflector, since they made me rip the one off I got from them. First time I go to pick it up, it’s out of the box and scratched under the plastic wrap and no box. Second time, they tried to give me the same one out of the box, same scratches after they said they ordered a new one. Waiting for the third time. Poor customer service.

Made accommodations for me and picked my car up at the house, but it took longer than expected. Overall it was good that they helped me by picking up the car, but if it is supposed to be 3 hours it should be 3 hours, not 3 1/2.
Just dropped by because I was getting an oil change notice. Even though I had been in for that a few weeks before. The tech quickly showed me how to update the internal tracking s/w. The tech doing the service must have forgotten to update it.
Chris was awesome in making sure the mirror was in stock and got it installed the very next day

Ive been mostly happy with their service department over the years on both my pickup and my wifes Forester.
Overall level of service by Jodi was good, but...1) The service techs did not see that the driver side door trim light is not working correctly after I reported it. I will have to photograph at night and bring it in again.2) Drove over a bumpy road today and the repair on my rear hatch did not eliminate the squeeking noise.3) Immediately after bringing the Volt in, the check engine light came on for an emissions issue. Not saying they are related, but it is odd.4) You did not plug my Volt in to a charger after finishing service. What the heck?
I purchased a used truck from you back in 2012ish and had a great experience. I was looking to purchase a used Chevy and wanted a pre-purchase inspection so I thought you would be the best option. Transactionally, it was a smooth experience and I felt the $135 price tag was reasonable. I am, however, disappointed in the lack of information I received.I was given a few short seconds to glance at your copy of a report that seemed to go into quite a bit of detail, but that I was unable to keep.Of the items noted, two seemed to be inaccurate. I was told one of my high beams was out, which I verified was not, and that my touch screen was inoperable, which again, I verified was not. The note on the touch screen was mechanic jargon that nobody I asked knew the meaning of. Something about 2 radio controllers.I was informed my hood had been taken off at some point, but was unable to speak with someone that could go into further detail as to why that might be concerning in this particular instance. Just that body work might have been done. Well, was there anything else to suggest that? Is it possible it was removed for another reason? Again, I was unable to ask these questions.The other troublesome item was the rust underneath the car. All I got was some rust. Rather than have someone walk me through which spots were worrying and which were superficial, I was again given a stock answer.Perhaps I was expecting too much to be able to walk the issues with the tech that inspected it. Taylor was great and she did her best to answer my questions. She attempted to find the tech but was unsuccessful.I thought that a Chevy dealer would be the best place for a PPI but this experience has me thinking it would have been more beneficial to do some research on who the community trusts with an inspection.

Wow! What a great experience! We live about 180 miles away. We found a 3500 Silverado exactly like we wanted in-transit to Dellenbach. We called on it and asked a few questions to ensure we could get the Employee Pricing deal. The nice gal who took our call said she would have Craig give us a call back with the details. Within 20 minutes, I was on the phone with him. We said we wanted it, they held it for us and we were there the next day to buy it. From the moment we got out of the vehicle, Craig was greeting us and was attentive the entire time. All our concerns were addressed and everything met our needs. Absolutely no pressure for anything. Very comfortable and pleasant experience. While paperwork was being worked on, a manager, Kevin came to greet and chat with us. We were treated like family. Our most sincere thanks and kudos to Craig, Kevin, and Glenn. You made this one of the nicest buying experiences weve had. On another note, everything is cleaned and sanitized, from the vehicles, to tables and seating to accommodate COVID. My wife has stage 4 cancer and that means the world to us right now. You all helped us round out this rough year on a very positive note.
