I got my first tattoo here as well as my first piercing here. I had a great experience, everyone there was really nice and made sure that I was happy with what I got done. All artists are professional and know what they’re doing, I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to get something done well and for good pricing!

I do not have a lot of piercings and I am certainly not used to getting piercings, but Jared made it the best experience ever! Definitely recommend getting a quick and painless piercing from him. Everyone was so sweet there as well!

This is a great place! Ive gotten two of my lip rings here from Meg and most recently my septum by Jared, as well as an upper ear piercing a while ago although I dont remember who did that one (I am sorry for my forgetfulness😭). My septum is still healing, but it didnt bleed at all when it was done and it still doesnt hurt in the slightest. I accidentally moved during my second lip piercing so its slightly different than the other, but Meg offered to fixed it for free when it was a bit more healed which was really cool (I prefer the asymmetry though). They all healed very quickly and without any problems. Ive never gotten an infection from any piercing I got done here though I have at other places beforehand. Rocksteady is 30 minutes away from me and I have six or seven piercing shops within ten minutes of my house, but I still exclusively go here. The only reason I would ever go to another piercer would be if I was out of the state. The people here are also incredibly friendly, waiting for them to get the equipment ready is never awkward silence. If you want a piercing done affordably and correctly absolutely come to Rocksteady.

Jared is so good at what he does! I definitely think he should charge more. I was so impressed. I hadn’t had any piercings done in 15 years, so I was a little nervous to get four at one time, including one on my face. But I barely felt any of the piercings he did, and he was super friendly and made the whole experience really seamless and fun. If I’m ever in Fort Collins again, I’ll definitely be coming back.

On Saturday a group of us ladies went in to get a variety of piercings. We had the pleasure of working with Jared. Not only was he excellent and competent in his skill but his disposition and welcoming calm manner really helped settle my nerves (I was a chatty noob). He was easy to talk to, professional, and efficient. We were in and out within 45 minutes!! I would highly reccomed Jared, he’s awesome!

I was in recently with my husband and he received a tattoo (I’m sorry I forgot the artists name). His tattoo is wonderful and we could not have asked for more from his artist. However the woman that works here “tattooing” spends more time being inappropriate than actually tattooing she didn’t understand that there are other people in the building, and every other word out of her mouth was just inappropriate and unnecessary in public. We feel sorry for her co workers and future clients of this establishment no one should be subject to this lack of professionalism. We unfortunately will not be back due to the nature of this experience. Professionalism seems to only matter to a few of the artists. She solely made this experience horrible.

This place was one of the best that I’ve been to. We were greeted before we even walked through the door. The guys here were all friendly and keep the place very clean.I had some piercings done with Jared and loved the experience he provided. He was laid back and easy going but most importantly patient!I highly recommend this guy for your piercings! He does not make you feel rushed and takes his time to make sure placing is where you want it!It’s not often you come across a person that makes you feel welcomed in their place of business and this guy did just that! Was declined access with my medical equipment. Well my Medical equipment is a Service animal, Miss Megan pulled the sterile card. She insisted that we were not allowed. Per ADA a sterile place is a place for Surgeries. This is a tattoo place not sugrey.Im 29. I have over 18 different Piercings and 18 tattoos. My Service animal has been with me every time. Im from vegas and never had a access issue like this.Example: Being I always have a friend with me while I do this my SA would stay in the lobby or door way of the sterile environment and still be able to alert from a far. Sadly Miss Megan didnt allow us a chance to speak and tell her anything. Or let us educate her about discriminating and breaking a law.

I saw Jared a few days ago and got my second holes on my ear lobe and a helix piercing. He was very nice and sociable which made the whole experience not as scary. The room and everything was very clean. I originally lost my cleaning bottle and they gave me another one completely for free. Great people there, would definitely recommended you get your piercings there!

Had an appointment to get a symbol of peace (a pentagram) tattooed on my neck with a friend getting a matching tattoo. Called them because we were running a little late and this girl Mel answered. Right away she was very rude and condescending. She informed me that she refused to do our tattoo because she just didnt do that kind of thing. She is a bigot who refused to tattoo me and my friend who just wanted a pentagram. She also didnt call us to tell us she wasnt going to do it. Mel was just going to let us show up and not do the tattoo. Mel could have at least called to let us know.

I got an eyebrow piercing done with Jared and he is the best!!! My piercing healed super fast and I didnt face any complications. I was worried about getting it pierced because not everyone could perfect it and your body could reject the piercing if its not done the right way. But Jared did a great job, you can tell hes a professional and it didnt hurt one bit. I am very sensitive to pain but this didnt hurt at all, it literally hurts more getting my eyebrows plucked and I think its definitely because Jared is great. I 100% recommend you to get your piercing with Jared! I would also like to say the pricing was really good!!

I walked in for a piercing recently and was impressed with the cleanliness and compliance of the shop. They’re clearly working hard to remain accessible to their clients AND meet CDC standards: limiting the number of people inside, affording ample distance between customers, checking symptoms, and requiring masks and hand-washing. Jared pierced my nose and I was so pleased with how gentle, efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly he is. His prices are excellent, too. I’ve had my nostrils pierced twice before elsewhere, several years ago; neither experience was especially nice, and ultimately the piercings rejected. Either the third time’s the charm, or I just haven’t learned... 🙃 Anyway, it’s been about a week, and my nose is healing perfectly. I was surprised at how little the piercing itself hurt, and I seldom feel the post. Aftercare is a breeze. I’ve had no issues at all and, if nothing else, I’m grateful for that. Thanks, Jared!

After reading the reviews for this tattoo parlor, I think that my situation may have been a bad afternoon, but Ive had roughly 20 hours of tattoo work done in the past 2 years and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a tattoo parlor.A friend and I went in for tattoos, my design was more complicated than his with a few flowers, but overall it was a simple design. The artist my friend used was names Joe and he did a wonderful job. I had the other male artist and was not so luck. Considering the rating for Rocksteady, I assumed all of their artists would be equally skilled. I was wrong.Full disclosure, I use a numbing solution called Hush, I swear by it for tattoo work. My artist seemed disdainful of my choice for how I get work done on my body, which should have been my first clue that this artist wasnt going to be a good match. 20 minutes into the tattoo I knew something wasnt right, I was in a lot more pain than with any other tattoo Ive ever gotten, including one I had tattooed directly onto my spine.Initially, I thought it was my fault for not applying the numbing agent right, but I used a faster acting spray version and took a 20 ish minute break, which did help with the pain a lot until he started working again. However, it was not the numbing gel or my pain management. The artist was terrible.The tattoo was on both of my wrists, the way he stretched the skin on my wrists left bruises, and he managed to dig deep into my skin with his tattoo gun on all of the black lines, he missed sections multiple times, going over the same spots repeatedly. The healing process has not been pretty, and I will almost certainly have some additional unwanted scars from this tattoo once its done healing.Considering this, its impressive that he missed entire sections of the tattoo when filling it in. Parts of the leaves and flowers dont have ink in them, and one flowers ink goes outside of the lines. Some of the weirdness in the pictures is simply the fact that the tattoos are a week old and still healing, but the scabs that formed on three areas of the tattoos that have made the skin pucker was not normal and will leave unasked for scars. The coloring mistakes are also a problem.The cherry on top was a conversation my artist had with my friend when he was finishing my tattoo. They were playing pineapple express on the TV, and my friend made a comment that this was one of the few movies where it made sense for the actors not to shoot guns correctly, because they were high for the entire movie. The artist said, That shouldnt be a problem. Im high all the time. Yes, were in Colorado, but tattooing anyone while high is pretty ridiculous, maybe he wasnt high. Im not sure, but it would certainly explain the poor work. I will be getting the tattoos partially covered and hopefully corrected by a different artist sometime in may, but I strongly advise anyone who goes to this location to schedule carefully, or to find a different parlor altogether.

The guy who pierced my nose was knowledgeable, he had an amazing sense of humor and the whole thing was done in a couple of minutes! At an amazing price I got my septum pierced and had an amazing time doing it!

Jared has done 85% of my piercings, most recently my eyebrow. He is extremely professional and takes his sanitation measures to the next level. Hes the only one I trust for piercings anymore!

I got a tattoo done from here and I’m very unhappy with the results. My line work is inconsistent. Some lines are thicker than others and some of my lines don’t connect. I showed it to another tattoo artist at a different shop and he said it was done very poorly & now I am having to go through the process to get it fixed

Josie Green did phenomenal work for me. I asked her to take a simple piece and personalize it and she more than delivered. Her line work is beautiful. This piece was small but meant so much to me. She was so professional and easy to work with. Great experience. Highly recommend her as an artist.

He hates needles,its not a pain thing,he just hates them.....anywho....He had not 1 worry or care&didnt even really notice when the needle went in! Showed up with a couple other people for my friends birthday and were able to get piercings right away! There was 6 piercings done across all three of us and Jared was able to get it done proficiently and without hesitation!! He was totally cool and definitely passed the vibe check. I’ve had a cartilage piercing done before back in my home town and it instantly got infected. The one I got here healed within 2 days with no pain whatsoever. I was only in town for work for a week and he said they were out of the jewelry but if I was serious he could find some in town. This dude came through and I was able to get my piercing done on my last night in town! Awesome dude, great merch, rad dude.
