We have been a customer of the Sleep Store in Fort Collins for many years. When we were looking for an articulating bed, the only store in town with that type was the Sleep Store. The product was well priced, delivered according to plan, and has served us well.We returned for a replacement mattress for the bed a year or so ago and were pleased that the salesperson found the exact type of mattress we wanted. It was painless. Again, the product was well priced!Recently, our adjustable bed broke and a hard-to-find part was needed. This was a nice little store with a very helpful salesman. We went looking for bed frames and we were shown the back area where the discounted stuff was. A nice variety of things, a little expensive but thats the norm when it comes to bedroom furnishings.

So glad we stopped in! I have been struggling with back and sleep issues for sometime. I thought I needed a firmer mattress for support. The salesman took his time showing us the different options in our price range. Saw that I was a side sleeper recommend one a little softer... I can not express how LIFE CHANGING that was. After a week in bed after a surgical procedure the week before, my adjustable bed stopped working. I called two of the large furniture stores in Fort Collins and not one of the salespeople I spoke with could offer any help. They acted as if I were speaking a foreign language! Completely frustrated at that point, I phoned the Sleep Store. I explained my situation to Dennis. He told me what he had in store.and we settled on an adjustable frame that he had on the floor. He told me he would call me right back. He did! Dennis actually called me right back letting me know that they could deliver it that same afternoon! In this day of very little to no personal service from the larger stores, mediocrity seems to be the mantra for the day. The delivery men were polite and professional. They removed the old frame and replaced it with the new one. I have nothing but good things to say about the Sleep Store. For those of us who appreciate personal service, I would advise you to purchase your new mattress or bed, from the Sleep Store. Dennis went out of his way for me. I had a 9 hour surgery and after going through 6 mattress from $800-$1000.00, I finally went to the Sleep Store and met Dennis Landry and with his Knowledge and experience found me a Posh & Lavish Latex Mattress on an adjustable base and it has really changed my life. I am sleeping a lot better after having had to sleep on the floor due to my back injury. John & Dennis are the best. Highly recommend you see them.

We purchased a sleeper sofa and a murphy bed from them . The bed installation went great. The sofa was delivered and the delivery people did not know alot about how to work it. It has outlets on the side to charge your phone which did not work . We called to ask what to do about it and they said they would get back to us. 3 months later I am still waiting.Not real impressed with the service .

We went to the Sleep Store based on a recommendation from our neighbor (she had great things to say about this place.) We were in and out in 45 minutes. We were educated about the different mattresses and we shopped around. There were no high pressure sales tactics. We worked with Dennis, and he was knowledgeable, helpful and seemed to genuinely want to help us find a suitable mattress set that worked with our budget. No complaints. Well get our mattress for a low-cost delivery on Monday afternoon after a purchase on Saturday evening.

My fiance and I went in to this location on 8/23/16 and arranged the financing and purchase of a mattress. The sales and financing staff were very friendly and accommodating. We gave all of our information, but withheld signing the contract so that we could do all the math and make sure our budget was sound.Upon further inspection we realized the financing we had been approved for was only just short of robbery. We would have payed double the cost of the mattress in interest payments. While legal, this is really very shady.Then, a day later, the mattress delivery people attempted to deliver the mattress with the contract unsigned. I did not accept it or answer the door, and my fiance put in a call to the store.Apparently, manager Dennis thought it was acceptable to forge my fiances signature on the contract and attempt delivery of the mattress without speaking to either of us.If I had accepted the mattress, no doubt there would have been no way to return it and we would have been forced into the terms of the contract.I would stay away from this location and any Sleep Stores, regardless of what excuses they may have for this behavior.This was not a misunderstanding, it was white collar crime.Bad business.EDIT: Email verification of all of this available upon request to any investigating organization.

We are incredibly happy with the customer service and the product we got at The Sleep Store!After explaining to John what we were looking for (I have a back injury and havent slept very well in several years and I am quite tired as a result!), the first mattress he showed us seemed absolutely perfect. Never go with the first one, right? We tried out some other mattresses in his store, but it really seemed he got it right from the get-go. We left without buying and checked out some other stores, but no one was able to give us the same experience or attention. John never showed us the typical selling mattresses like some of the other stores did, he listened to what we needed and made a recommendation based on those needs. His 40-some years of experience really shined when he made the best recommendation right out of the gate!The next day, we returned to The Sleep Store around 5:30 pm to purchase the mattress. He gave us some very good advice pertaining to caring for the mattress and keeping it in good shape for as long as possible. Better yet, he had it delivered LATER THAT NIGHT! I was amazed. The guys who delivered it were fast, respectful of our home, and very polite. I slept so well that night and woke up feeling absolutely refreshed, something I havent experienced for longer than I care to admit. The moral of this story: I have absolutely nothing negative to say about our experience with The Sleep Store! We highly recommend that you go talk to John if you are in the market for a new mattress. You will not be disappointed. He might have similar mattresses to other stores, but his knowledge and impeccable customer service takes the cake!

Ok so when you need a new mattress you need to go with someone who has experience. John knows his stuff. Tell him what you are looking for and what size your room is and if you like a soft or a hard top of cushion he knows right where to lead you and the price is good, the service is excellent and the delivery people are nice and courteous in your home. What else do you need? Buy from this guy whos been here in town like forever! I have directed many family members and friends to his store and everyone has been pleased. You will too. He is next to Browns shoes in the old mall. Have a good night sleep knowing that you have a great mattress AND you got great quality for a decent price. I love the fact that I trust them and leave feeling good about my purchases.Recently, my daughter left the state to attend college. We were able to get everything for her except for a specific sheet set she was looking for. They went out of their way to find it for us, order it and then have it shipped directly to her for no additional charge.You would be doing yourself a disservice by not checking out The Sleep Store before making any mattress or bedding accessory purchase.

Honestly, its an amazing company. I had bought a Tempur-pedic and thought it was going to solve all my back problems. Turns out it made everything much worse. I have a latex hybrid now that works wonders and the people at The Sleep Store made sure I had a bed I was satisfied with (after multiple exchanges).

I had a great experience yesterday at The Sleep Store purchasing my daughters first big girl bed mattress. I wasnt sure where to go to get a mattress in Fort Collins. I had read bad reviews for the customer service at Denver Mattress Company and American Furniture Wearhouse, so I wasnt too keen on going to either of those places. I read reviews for The Sleep Store having great customer service and good deals, so I tried it, and Im so glad I did. Dennis came over to help my daughter and I immediately, and he showed us several options and explained the pros and cons, and had me test them out. Within 15 minutes, I was out of there with our new mattress, which he wrapped up and put in my truck for me. Excellent customer service from Dennis, and exactly what I needed for a great price. Im really glad I skipped the big box stores and went to The Sleep Store!

OLDER: Absolutely horrible, older guy who works there was rude and tried to get out of a price he originally offered. Bought a bed for 299, and came in the next day to pick it up. After I found I didnt have the space for the bed, I went in and asked for the sale the guy offered me for the smaller one. He then proceeded to tell me that he never offered the 249 that he did and that it was the same price for the Queen as the Full. He wouldnt budge and offered to refund me, saying I was not correct. I work for retail and if I treated my customers like this, I wouldnt be able to sell a thing. Beyond all of this he consistently spoke down to me. Poor customer serviceUPDATE: Manager called me personally to extend his apologies and worked to get me the deal I was told was available. VERY impressed with their customer service and raised it to a Five star because John was a great store owner who cared for his customers

My daughter returned to CSU for her junior year without ordering a bed and had no transportation to get around or pick up something that large. I called many places and was told delivery would be at least a week or 2. I did some research and found that Sleep Store was an established, locally owned business and they got great reviews. I called them and told them I was flying blindly, my daughter couldnt make it there to try out mattresses and they told me which they thought was best...and did not try to upsell me. They delivered it the next day as promised and I couldnt be happier with the level of service and information they provided when we couldnt be there to personally pick something out.
