My experience with Fort Collins Foreign Car has always been great, but today I feel like it was most excellent. Even though everyone in the shop was very busy they made time for me today. The mechanic went on a test drive with me to make sure he knew specifically what I was hearing. He took time to even show me what exactly was going on with my car and explained in detail his diagnostics. I feel like these are people you can trust. This is a honest company that I would recommend for your car service needs.

Excellent shop. The folks there are knowledgeable, methodical, and arent trying to hustle you. The mechanics will sit you down, go through everything you want looked at in no rush, and are sure to call before doing any work that you havent explicitly asked for. They wont push any work on you that you dont truly need done, and will give you quotes for any problems you want to deal with in the future.Definitely will be returning when I need future work done!

Bill has some of the best pricing in town. Hes done two diagnostics for me at no cost. Each problem Ive had, he and his crew have fixed correctly, timely and the pricing was excellent. They are very good at paying attention to the small details. My biggest compliment to them would be the cleanliness of their shop and their work. No oil mess left behind, a true clean as you go shop. I highly recommend them.

This is the only review Ive ever written here.Ive gone to this place for repairs for years now. Everyone is friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and completely trustworthy. Not something you can say about a lot of car repair places.I just got back from asking them to look into a car problem. When I arrived, the office was full of customers, an hour before closing. I fully expected to be asked to return another day. Instead, they took the time to look at my car, quickly identified the issue, and while they were at it, added some fluid for the power steering when they noticed the wheel was stiff while driving it into the garage. They then showed me how to do that myself in the future. This is all while they were clearly very busy, near the end of the day.I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Honest and knowledgeable! They really take the time to make sure you understand what is causing the trouble and that needs to be fixed and what other steps that are preventative. These guys are the only mechanics that treat you like a customer where others act like you need them, is a very refreshing experience! I dont take my cars anywhere else!

They did their job right and in time, at a reasonable price.

For the most part knowledgeable mechanics and the cheapest/quickest I could find in town. However, my entire experience was not so positive.When I asked for a complete fluid flush/replacement and valve cover gasket replacement, they did the job and I took my truck for a 7 hour drive the next week.It smelled like burning oil for a while before I took it in to get looked at. Yup, cracked valve cover slowly leaking oil--turns out, they put the bolts on excessively tight when they replaced the gasket and caused the cover to crack. I was told they had a mechanics touch when I inquired about a torque wrench....The price to correct their mistake was an additional day in the shop and $650--not to mention, according to their representative there is no way the cracked cover was their fault. I took their word for it until researching the issue, and finding that EVERYBODY with my vehicle and a cracked valve cover tightened the very same bolt too tight, and that this particular model has a very low torque tolerance. It is certainly an understandable mistake, but not taking responsibility for it is not as easily acceptable for me.All in all, i was new to town looking for a mechanic, and I dont think Ill be returning. But, it is probably a decent place to go for minor issues when youre in a hurry.

Reasonable prices, treat you like you have a brain in your head and explain whats happening with your car, always easy to work with. In sum, if you have a foreign car and are not going to Fort Collins Foreign Car, you are probably paying way too much and not getting the best possible service. This is actually the first time I have written a review, but the people here went above and beyond what I could hope for. We have always had great service with the people at Fort Collins Foreign Car. This last time though, they went from being great to being amazing. I was under a tight time crunch, my family was in town, my wife was graduating, and I needed to go on a long drive, when my car broke, at my wifes graduation. They were able to get it fixed in one day. Of course I hoped that they would have been able to get it done, but I know car problems can be time consuming, and I really wasnt expecting it.As I am sure you can guess, having it break when it did was really hard on the festivities. Especially because we had so many people in town. When they told us that they were able to get it done, I just couldnt, and still cant, express how great it was.If you car breaks down, take it here. They are great people who will really treat you right. Thank you guys so much.

Best mechanic in town! Every time I went to someone else they quoted more for the same work. I would send my grandma, my aunt, and any homeboy on the street to this guy because he is the best mechanic I have ever dealt with.

I have used this mechanic since 2011. Bill, the owner, is honest and trustworthy. I have taken a Suburban, Mazda 6, Subaru Outback, Dodge Durango, Honda Ridgeline and Rav 4 to him and he has no problem. He alwasy gives me a list of things wrong with the most important stuff to fix and gives me options. USE THIS SHOP, they are great! PS, I never write reviews.

This place was awesome, I stopped by without an appointment on my way home after I drove over something and had pieces dragging under my car. I just asked if they could help me piece it back together and make sure it was safe to drive home, they were very kind and looked my car over and made it drivable. This place really helped me out for nothing in return.

I wanted front struts replaced on my 2005 Jeep Gr Cherokee. Its not an easy task but FC Foreign car shop knocked it out in 2 hrs flat. They also broke a frozen rear shock bolt loose that I was afraid was going to shear and installed the shock and charged me only $27 extra - a bargain. Good guys and the work was done right and fairly priced. Not just for foreign cars...

These guys are the BEST. I took my Subaru to the dealership and walked away with a 3k quote for the work. I took the car to Foreign Car Service and they did everything from the original quote plus a few extras. They even went above and beyond to look for solutions to some electrical problems the car was having. All said and done, my bill was only 1/3 of what the dealership was going to charge. These guys are very honest and do great work. I will only take my cars to them.

The sunroof on my Audi got jammed while open and I couldnt get it to close. I took it to FC Foreign Car on a day when their phones and internet were down, but they still managed to take a look at it while I waited. Although the problem was confusing, they stuck with it, and managed to close the roof manually. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and Ill definitely be bringing the car there again.
