They did a great and quick job figuring out an electrical issue with my Subaru. They were also friendly and patient with my questions and didnt overcharge me. Plus, its a convenient location for me.

They deserve infinite stars. I honestly didn’t know where to bring my car because I knew if I brought it to my dealership I would of gotten charged so much money for what had happened. I was told to go here by a friend and I’m honestly so glad I did. They were shocked and said they have never seen anything like that with a car. All 4 of my doors were messed up in alignment and at the tops they were open. He did some bending and used some tools to even them out, and he literally made my car look like nothing happened at all. I am so thankful I came here. I am so thankful for the amount of support and care they put into my car and gave to me as well that I think this is my NEW FAVORITE place to bring my car to get work done on it. I am truly thankful for the one who got my doors back to normal, he is literally so awesome. You have gained a new customer and from now on this is where I will be coming for my work. Leaving them 5 stars but they deserve more!!! I have never had such great customer service anywhere - car repair or otherwise! I came in after a car accident hoping for basic repairs. They offered me such a great price on the body work that I was sure it was too good to be true. Not only did they fix dents from the accident, but they also fixed older dents. I think they even fixed my sound system! My car looks brand new and they gave me a lower price when I came into pay than the original quote. Honest and good people! Cannot thank Debby and David enough - turned a bad situation into a great deal! Cant imagine this kind of service from a big repair chain. I will definitely be coming back for future services :)

Ive now taken my vehicle in twice for needed maintenance. And experienced top notch service from beginning to end. Very fast in replying to communications, quick to schedule and extremely quick to service. Theyre keeping my car running like new. You can consider this yourselves, but this is my worst experience taking my car to fix. I took the car to this place to get my timing belt replaced.. However, after I picked the car up, one of my car window isn’t working, so I went back to them right away(only around 5-10min). I had a concern because it broke after I took my car there. They said the only thing the mechanic did to my window was rolling it up and down while he was taking it inside. They also said that it might have already broken before I took it to their place, but they said it themselves that “THE ONLY THING THEY DID TO MY WINDOW WAS ONLY ROLLING IT UP AND DOWN.” If they were able to use it, how could it be broken before then? Anyway, they offered to take a look at it for me for free with a discount if I really need to fix it. It could be just the coincidence that my car window broke after they worked with it, but it’s just so weird for me, so I didn’t want to agree with them so easily. After a long conversation, I agreed to have them take a look at my window for me again. I left my car there over the weekend. I understood though that they wouldn’t be able to do anything on the weekend, but the lady I talked to told me that someone will definitely call me by noon on Monday. However, nobody called me AT ALL. I waited until 4 in the afternoon and called them that I didn’t want to fix it anymore. I don’t think they even cared to really look at it for me. Everything looked the same just how I parked it there on Friday. Most of the reviews said that they are very trustworthy, so I took my car there, but I was instead very sad and disappointed 😔Updated 08/04/2020Now this just happened, I only drove a car back from work. It was only 4-5 miles. I heard something from the hood, so I opened it. There was a smoke coming out. Okay, how could two things broke at within a few days after I saw you guys?Last UpdatedI changed my star to 3 instead because later on they(including the owner) were trying many times to contact me to give them one more chance. The owner talked very nicely to me though, but I just feel sad to go back to the place, so I didn’t.

I was dropping my car off for an oil change and when I asked about their non-mask wearing they gave me some line like “we don’t have to because we all have sports induced asthma”. They then laughed at me when, not wanting to touch possible virus spreaders, I tossed them my keys. I left but called them after I got around the corner when I realized I hadn’t told them about having the appointment. I asked them to call me when they were done with my car and to please not laugh at me, that I didn’t laugh at their lame sports asthma excuse. I absolutely love this place. I was so anxious about finding a new mechanic when I moved to Fort Collins a few years ago, but I always feel so good leaving my car here. The prices are so reasonable, and they have a great turn-around time. Im always baffled by how low my bill is! The first time I went to them, another shop in town quoted me $900+ for something that Import Specialists only charged me $400 for. The first shop mentioned it would be weeks to wait for the part, but Import had it within a day or two (in fact, I think they actually had it already). They also fixed the ROOT of the problem (a hose leaking fluid onto another part) which the other place did not diagnose or offer to fix. I have been a loyal customer ever since! Weird noises, routine oil changes, breakdowns... I go to them for anything without hesitation. They are honest and their prices are SO fair! Another reviewer described them as ethical -- I 100% agree. I would recommend this shop to anyone!

Just tried these guys out for the first time because my usual place couldnt get me in before my trip and they were also nearby. These guys are great! The guy at the front desk was very attentive and kept me in the loop about my car the whole time. He offered helpful suggestions for improvement (nothing ridiculous like some other car places) and he could tell I wasnt expecting to pay that much. I had to prioritize what I needed done for the trip and what I could actually afford. When it came time to pay, he told me he did some things for free and gave me a discount. I dont even know why, I was so pleasantly surprised! I paid like 60$ less than originally quoted. Clearly, these guys care about their customers (even new ones like me!) and are not interested in gouging anyone for profit. All of the staff was friendly and attentive, I was treated like a rockstar. I will *definitely* be returning in the future. :)

Brought in my 98 tacoma because of a popping noise coming from my steering. When i got my truck back it was still making the popping noise so the diagnosis was not correct, aswell as the work was not finished because i found a couple of cotter pins just put in place not bent and a few loose bolts. While looking into the noise they completely neglected to look at my balljoints and turns out 2 of them are bad, and they decided to look at my timing instead, something i didnt ask them to look at. Overall im very dissapointed cause i spent over 2k to have my problem not be fixed.

Clint was so helpful, professional and kind. He completed the work quickly and thoroughly, and my truck runs so much better after the trip to Import Specialists! The price was reasonable and the work is excellent, I’ll be taking my vehicle here every time I need work done.

Fixed my car for free after I had a bunch of dealerships quote me a hell of a lot more than free. Really showed up for me. Take your car here, they won’t disappoint.

Simple, honest customer service. Great work on my bumpers (the paint matched perfectly) and windshield replacement. Not as much polish and shine as other auto body shops, but more personal attention, less rush, and a free loaner car if I scheduled the work a week later.

Have been using them for many years and always received great service at a fair price. I consider them to be honest and they proved that again today when I took my car in to get an oil and engine coolant change. Rather than just doing the coolant change, Lou told me it didnt need to be done since it was changed last year when we did a water pump replacement. I was very impressed with that and will always make sure I recommend Import Specialists when I can.

I have a 2001 Subaru Outback and called up Lou at Import Specialists to quote my broken AC system. He quoted it at $350 which is $200 less than the quote I received from another auto place. We scheduled a time to drop my car off and he had it fixed within three hours of the drop off. Lou was professional, inexpensive and did a great job. I definitely will trust Lou with my future servicing needs.

Import Specialists took good care of my wifes Subaru. It had a stalling problem. They took their time and fixed it right.

Heard about this shop from a friend and after hearing about his great experience I decided to take my Outback here to look into possible head gasket issues. I walked in expecting to spend a large amount of money but Greg took the time to evaluate my car thoroughly. He spent the week with my car and requested that I bring it in again the following week just to make sure there were no visible leaks. After a engine clean (the before and after in the engine bay was amazing!) he deduced residual buildup of fluids from other recent repairs was causing the smoke and that my head gaskets were in fact not going bad! They could have easily slapped new head gaskets in and I would have paid because I need and love my car but Greg said we dont want to fix anything that doesnt need to be fixed. They ended up doing a full timing belt service which was more than needed but in the end it was the respect and time they took with my vehicle that made them my go to shop in town from now on.Thank you Greg and the staff at Import Specialists for doing a phenomenal and professional job time and time again.Blue 07 Outback owner.

This guy is a scammer!!! I brought my car in there 3 times for the same issue. The first they recommended I flush my transmission and replace the fluid. They clearly over filled it and blew my gasket within a few days. I then had to bring it back 2 times to get the gaskets replaced. On the last time, it was still leaking so I had to take it elsewhere to have them look at it...Import Specialists didnt tighten the transmission pan!!! I could have lost my entire transmission due to these idiots!!! I highly recommend taking your car elsewhere! These people are terrible and even when it is clear they made a mistake (like overfilling my transmission with fluid) they refuse to take responsibility and lie about what they did. Stay away!
