I had such a great experience with Avantis! I was able to work everything out with their team remotely as I’m not local to the area. He answered all my questions, was response over the phone and email, and incredible nice. When I got to Fort Collins to pick up my scooter he gave me an in depth rundown as to how the scooter works (I’m a first time owner, so this was great!). I left feeling super confident and pleased. My scooter needed a little tuning and he was able to complte the work done way sooner than I expected. The shop is clean, the staff is caring and through, and while it sounds cliche, I often times feel a bit taken advantage of as a woman when it comes to automotive stuff - but not here. I cant be more thankful for a great experience.

The guys here are very helpful! They don’t just sell you a scooter, they also make sure you’re ready for the road with an in depth, instructional video. They will answer any questions you have and offer their services after you purchase your scooter! I highly recommend purchasing from Avantis!

Jeremy is amazing! He really wants the best for his customers. I bought my TaoTao50 pink moped 2 years ago and it still runs perfectly. I recommend Avantis to anyone looking to buy a moped scooter!

This guy up charges his customers by a lot and just re-names the mopeds to make them sound cool. He rips off most of his customers. You can buy every scooter in his shop online for half the price. That is if you can find the scooters after he gives you the ridiculous name he made up for it. For example: he sells the Tao Tao Speed 50, but he decides to sell it to his customers as the “Raptor 50.” Do not recommend this shop, not even a little bit.

Jeremy was extremely helpful in helping us pick one out for the wife, he was patient while she picked the color of her scooter and answered all my questions about the scooter and Colorado laws. Jeremy was very professional and were very happy with service that were going to buy another one from him soon.

This was the first time I have been to Avantis and they did a phenomenal job! I dropped off my Genuine Buddy Scooter on Saturday before they closed for their weekend and by Wednesday afternoon I received a call that they had fixed everything! I got my scooter in 2009 from a Buddy dealership in Boulder and when buying it I knew the electric start didnt work. After several years of randomly using the scooter (sometimes we would only start it once to twice a year) we noticed it had less pep then ever and slowly all the electrical (blinkers/ gauges) stopped working as well. The day we brought it to Avantis we couldnt even get it to stay running long enough to ride it to the shop. When I talked to them about the work they did on my Scooter they told me they cleaned and rebuilt the carburetor and replaced my battery. When I picked up my scooter not only did my electric start work, it was faster and then ever! It used to top out at 40mph (sometimes I could only get up to that downhill!) but driving it home I got it up to 45mph on a flat road! This scooter is running better then when I bought it brand new! They were incredibly friendly and answered all of my questions. They even charged me less then I was expecting because I knew it needed a lot of work done, and I knew the work could get pricey. I would absolutely recommend these guys to everyone! If you want fast friendly service with someone who knows their stuff go to Avantis!

Bought a scooter from here 6 months ago. Have used it almost exclusively. Love it. The owner was very friendly and informative.I don’t own a truck and didn’t want to ride it all the way home and they delivered it right to my front door and gave me a walkthrough on its operations.Very service oriented.

Okay everyone, its story time. Im not going to bash anyones character, just sharing my experience. I came to this place to buy a scooter for transportation because my car needed repairs and it was cheaper to buy a scooter (for $950) than to fix my car or get a new one. After the first day the headlight went out on my scooter. The second day the entire electrical system failed and the thing would barely start. I had to use the kickstart which took half a dozen tries and I had to ride it home from work in the dark (very dangerous). I bought it on a Saturday I believe so I had to wait till at least Monday to bring it back. At that time I didnt even want it because it clearly had problems and I wanted either a different one or to purchase one somewhere else. I asked for a refund and Jeremy refused. He said that he could not take it back because it had lost value as soon as I drove it off the lot. SO BE AWARE IF YOU BUY ONE OF THESE, IT IS YOURS YOU CANNOT RETURN IT. When I got upset because he had turned down my request he told me to stop yelling or he wouldnt even fix it for me and I could leave right then. Because I had NO OTHER CHOICE. I let him fix the scooter which he conveniently reminded me that he did not actually have to do for free because the warranty only covers the cost of parts and that he was doing be a favor by fixing the BRAND NEW SCOOTER that he sold me that immediately stopped working. I felt trapped in a thousand dollar investment. The scooters electric system failed AGAIN the next day so I had to bring it back AGAIN. Jeremy fixed the scooter AGAIN. Finally it has run well for about a month and now the light has broken already again and the speedometer will not work. and the trunk snapped off after hitting a sewer drain... I am stuck with this scooter and I will never go back to this store for repairs. So as a review; you cannot return the scooter the second you run it off the lot, you are responsible for any labor to fix the scooter, even if it breaks immediately it would be a favor to have it fixed. I would find somewhere else.This is an addition in response to Jeremys response. I did not cuss in front of your daughter, she was nowhere to be found. You used her as an excuse to kick me out even though she was probably inside, and certainly nowhere in site. So, now whose twisting the story. You did tell me the problem was fixed with the exception of the light bulb that I would need to come back to have replaced. You were rude after our first encounter and reluctant to continue fixing a broken product that you refused to replace or refund. I was also late to work twice because the brand new product that was supposed to be reliable broke multiple days in a row, that is why I was rushing you. Now the odometer doesnt work and the speedometer doesnt work and the headlight is busted again. So way to go. Its been about two months since I purchased this piece of junk and I dont even want it anymore. It says a lot that everytime someone posts a bad review on here you are more defensive than apologetic. I work for a customer sales account and I know what good service looks like. Refusing to replace a brand new product after it completely fails after the first two days is BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Have fun ripping more people off dude.

The owner is a hard working gentleman, who deserves the uttermost respect. I go here for any of my scooter needs, and he gets right on it! You wont be disappointed.

This place is great! I bought my scooter in March and havent had any problems. One thing to know going in is they give a discount if you pay in cash. I thought this discount was just for the scooter but it is for anything or services you pay for. If you need a scooter, go here!

Also known as The Scooter Store, I guess if you have alot of money and dont know how to fix a scooter this place is the place to go, I was sold an air filter that didnt even fit my scooter for $40 then bought one that fit from ebay for $5.??
