The employees and the owner really seem to care about the community. A couple months ago I came in looking for a pair of ice skates (which I found for $5!), as I was standing in line to check out the woman in front of me was asking about a nice pair of leather winter boots. As she was talking to the employee about the price she mentioned that she could only afford them for $8. It made my day seeing that the employee gave those boots to her for $8 considering it seemed like the woman really needed them. Everyone who Ive met who works here is absolutely wonderful and truly cares about the people in Fort Collins. There is a large selection and its hard to leave with only the things you were looking for. Thank you for being dedicated to Fort Collins and sustainability, Eco Thrift!

I feel like all the rich folk that live in old town donate their name-brand clothing & snow gear here, making it a Colorado thrift store gold mine! I’ve scored my favorite Lululemon tops, Patagonia coat, and mid-century modern furniture pieces. The quality selection and fair prices make it the best thrift store in town!

Staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I like browsing, just to see whats available. Eco-Thrift is unique for a second hand shop, bought a white tank top that appeared to be brand new. A shop to put on the list, when youre looking for something, but youre not sure what it is, 5 stars

I used to volunteer and frequently shop here back in 2015; they had moved a few time and eventually it faded from my mind. As you could imagine I was estatic to find it again! They have a LARGE collection of affordable books which I personally enjoy, and a wide range of furniture and appliances that you can find. A great place for shopping on a budget. Plus it reminds me of an attic, so many treasure to find.If you have donations I highly recommend donating to eco thrift instead of the larger chains as larger chains tend to overprice; plus youre supporting a local business!

Support local businesses and communities by donating and thrifting here! The owner is awesome, and usually willing to strike a deal!Theyve got lots of inexpensive electronics and all of the cables and power adaptors you could ask for. Guys clothing selection is limited, but there are gems to be found.Theres crafting stuff, glassware, some sporting goods, shoes, bikes, bike parts. Make sure you check out the book area in the front, and around back. This place is crammed with good stuff, have fun exploring!

Staff were very helpful and relaxed. Prices are really high for a thrift store. $100.00 for a small stereo and 2 20inch speakers. In my opinion not worth that maybe like $35.00 but definitely no $100 otherwise not a horrible place just have some$$$.

Love this family owned thrift shop! I almost dont want to review them because I want to keep them our local little secret but, I love this family and everything they put into their shop so I want them to thrive. Great finds great prices great staff. But try really hard to organize which can be really difficult to do in a thrift store. They do much better than the big corporate thrift stores!

Funny theyre called eco thrift. As we walked out of the store one of their box trucks pulled in front of us blowing smoke in our faces, but while inside they push the mask is if people are dropping dead in the streets. Its ashame folks still believe in conspiracy theories still. It that kinda thinking that prices old used kitchen ware as if it was new.

I would suggest to the owner to be a bit more picky about what they accept or do more free piles since it can be a tad overwhelming.

I like this thrift shop a lot. My only constructive criticism would be get a larger location. It is very cramped which makes it difficult to see all of the bargains that they have . I have always enjoyed my trips to Eco-Thrift. They dont always have what Im looking for, but thats because Im pretty specific and often picky in what I want, and if there is a store that is a true representation of the every day, used stuff that people give away, its Eco-Thrift.Ive always found the staff to be very courteous and knoweldgeable. Sometimes one person is busy, so i just wander off to someone else and invariably I find a truly helpful and caring soul who is pleased to be of service. As for recycling electronics, Eco-Thrift is tops! They do things right! Separate out the metal and plastic, and send the electronics to a responsible place for further recycling. And this does NOT mean 3rd world dumping! Yes, they cost more than other places (and less than still others), but none of this is free, nor do the recovered materials pay for all that work. Safe deconstruction instead of landfilling is a choice, and Im glad I can count on Eco-Thrift to do it right!Im truly grateful for Tony and the work his staff do. Fort Collins can be proud to have this unique and forward looking service and store.

Worst thrift store I have ever been in. I went in looking for a belt. $12 for a worn black belt. No thanks I will go buy a brand new one for $12. Everything is overpriced for this thrift store. Just started getting into thrift shopping and this place definitely turned me off. After finding 2 bookends for 18$ which I thought was a little pricey my friend suggested I ask if they would come down with the price and when I simply asked at the register the manager came stomping out and gave me an awful deal but since i wanted them I accepted it. He even pushed a button basically mocking how dumb I was and how EASY it was to get me to buy them. Made me feel really bad about my purchase like he knew he was ripping me off. Wont be back. Overpriced and rude.

I have to agree with everything else that has already been said. The service is terrible, the selection is poor, prices are extremely high and shopping is difficult because it is so cluttered. Let me preface this by saying that I am a thrift-shop junkie and am usually okay with iffy interiors, but this place is just gross-- dirty, unorganized, cold (I assume from the garage door being open at all times), and in general not a pleasant place to shop. Ive found a few good things over the past year or so, like a computer monitor and kitchen gadgets, but generally their stuff is overpriced and pretty junky. Apparently the place is run by volunteers, none of whom seem to enjoy being there, which makes me wonder why they dont find volunteer work elsewhere, or if theyre maybe being paid a little commission under a table, which would explain the high prices. Ill probably continue to stop in every now and then-- like I said, Im a junkie-- but there are better thrift shops in town.
