Helpful desk staff and reasonable prices with a convenient location for Ft. Carson residents. Work seems solid as well. That being said, the maintenance staff are very rude and slow. The job they said would take 3 hours took nearly SIX hours. Literally almost double the time estimate. I know that the time estimates for auto repair are NEVER accurate but double the estimated time for routine maintenance (tire mount and wheel alignment) is utterly ridiculous. That combined with the rude attitude brings it down to 2 stars.PSI wish I had read the reviews first. Many people have had the same experience as I did. I had an 1100 appointment that somehow dragged out for 6 hours.
Great service. Gunny is top tier and shows he cares about your time. Staff I spoke to seemed knowledgably and friendly.EDIT: I have since learned Gunny no longer works there from an employee during a visit due to alleged remarks that I find difficult he actually said. I will no longer be taking my vehicle to this location.
This place does not even deserve a star. Make an 11am appointment for new tires and by 3 pm they hadn’t even TOUCHED the truck. Manager set the appointment, manager was there the whole time and did nothing!!!!! We packed up, got our truck and went else were. Not even acceptable. Customer service sucks. Not even an apology.
My wife brought our car to Firestone while I was at work. Spark plug was loose and shot out. One of the guys, supposedly the master tech, looked at the engine in the parking lot for less than five minutes without touching anything and told her we needed a new engine. I put a new spark plug in and it is in perfect shape. When my 6 month pregnant wife calls me crying because someone who is supposed to help is trying to take advantage of her I get a little upset. Luckily the manager was understanding on my anger when I talked to him. Management is great. Always get a second opinion from what the mechanics say.
Seriously what is the point of having an appointment? Every single time I make an appointment via the phone (and good luck calling them because you’ll immediately be put on hold for 10+ minutes and if you make an appointment on the website it doesn’t work) my vehicles are there for 3+ hours for an alignment and a wheel balance. I got to the point where I got tired of waiting and started dropping the vehicles off (the only reason I still went there was because I bought lifetime alignments from Firestone). Last week they had my husband’s vehicle for FIVE HOURS. For an alignment, wheel balance, and tire rotation. When we called to check on it we were told “one of the techs didn’t know how to do a tire balance.” Wow. So we pick up his vehicle finally at 6pm after dropping it off for the appointment time of 1pm. When I dropped it off I was told “it would take about an hour and a half”. Ha. Not to mention when we got home we realized the tires were rotated wrong. So of course we just did it ourselves. (We marked them in a secret spot to make sure they would actually rotate the tires). The ONLY reason I’m giving this location two stars is because Mike did feel bad for us having to wait so long so he gave us a discount. That same day I did a walk in service for tire mount and balance at Les Schwab for my vehicle. They had my vehicle done in under an hour. Firestone has officially lost our business. I wouldn’t recommend going to this location unless you want to wait hours and hours for your vehicle.
1 hour before or when I arrive at this particular Firestone for an appointment I am repeatedly informed that one or more techs have called in to work and that my vehicle will not be getting worked on or that it will be hours later into the day. The first two times were annoying but three times in a row? Thats not just bad luck. Its bad management. Very disappointing considering that I have paid for lifetime alignments with Firestone.
Love the staff here they are super friendly and helpful
Had a screw in my tire, they were very busy but looked at the tire and luckily it didnt go all the way through, so no damage was done.
If I could give this place 0 stars I think I would. I had an appointment at 12 to get my tires put on. I call at about 1430 and they have not even pulled my car into the shop. I call at 1530 and they had just pulled my car into the shop and are telling me it won’t be ready till about 1700. I should’ve went to the auto center and done this myself. I will never bring my car back to this place. The reason for this review is because they told me several times it should only take a couple hours and it wasn’t even a walk in. I had an appointment for almost a whole week before I showed.
My husband came in to check on tire pricing and was told about this amazing deal where we could get new tires and pay monthly if we sign up with a credit card. He was not told that deal was not valid if he didnt get approved, in fact they made two appointments for him to get tires changed FORGETTING TO MENTION HE WAS NOT APPROVED. He had an appt for Wednesday to get tires on but was told they couldnt do it because the offer didnt start until Thursday. So he made an appt today (Thursday), and was told it would take two hours, we came back after two hours & the truck wasnt even pulled in yet. We came back two hours later for them to tell him he was not approved and would have to pay 1100 and that if he couldnt pay, they had to take tires off. We obviously could not pay, and completely understood taking tires off. However my husband had to leave work 3 times to check on the truck and was without it for 6 hours today plus the extra two it will take them to take the new tires off. They mislead him about pricing & we dont have tires. We were counting on these tires to go visit family and now will not have the time to do so before we leave as we just wasted a week waiting for their deal to start. When my husband explained this to the worker he said thats business.
If I could give half a star I would. Made an appointment for 9am in the morning. Since I’m moving to Alabama on the 15th so I just needed a quick oil change since I didn’t have a lot of time to waste. Got there at 8:50 and didn’t see anyone until 8:56. Handed my keys over to find out that a simple oil change was gonna be 75$ When I was told over the phone the previous day it was going to be 55$. Sat in the lobby and waited over an hour before my car was even taken back. All the while fixing other cars and helping people before me that got there after me. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Unless you wanna wait over an hour and a half for a simple oil change.
If I could give zero stars I would. I had an appointment at 0900 to check the brakes on my vehicle which took 6 hours and 45 minutes to complete. I can understand a busy shop, but the “manager” strolls in with an X-Box and a Tank figurine from the PX completely oblivious to his surroundings. The staff was professional, and trying to keep up with a busy Saturday but the “manager” was providing zero leadership to his team. This was an extremely poor experience and needless to say I took my business elsewhere.
They were very helpful and even gave me some pointers! They took the time to check out other things on my car and were able to catch some things that would have caused trouble down the road.
I maked an appointment for an oil change so I didnt have to wait only to sit there for an hour to see my truck still sitting in the parking lot. Another 30 mins go by then I guy comes out and tells me my truck is to long to get an oil change at thier garage. Wasted an hour and a half of my time for nothing and with no remorse. This place takes for granite all there business being on post.
Drop the vehicle off at 0730..come to pick it up at 1630 and the car is STILL NOT DONE. 9+ hours for an oil change? Unacceptable.
I had scheduled an “appointment” at 0900 on a today Christmas Eve. They told me its just changing tires, it will be done in 30 mins maximum 45. Showed 10 minutes prior exactly at 0845, I am literally still here the time is 1200 and now all they could say was “SORRY ABOUT THAT”I assure you. This is not the first time. I think it’s convenience that I end up here but this is it i will never be back here again.I experienced it You really don’t have to.IT WOULD BEHOVE YOU TO AVOID THIS PLACE!!
All of their customers are on base and still they are always busy. Funny as hell
Very good customer service. They always take an interest in explaining what needs to be done and how to go about it. Their prices are competitive as well.
IT SHOULDNT TAKE 3 DAYS, 6 PLUS HRS TO CHANGE A TIRE AND DO ROTATION ALONG WITH BALANCE. There were poor listening skills, poor customer service, poor attention to detail, and failure to double check ones work.I likely will not go back and does not recommend Firestone on Ft. Carson location. Even though location is convenient, time is more valuable.Experience:I specifically told Gunny what needs to be taken care of when I booked my appointment that I need my front left tire repair or replace under warranty and alignment done. Day of appointment (Day 1), Gunny rescheduled me to come the next day since my tire is not in stock and will arrive following day. Next day (day 2), I came in & checked in with Gunny. 30 minutes later, he came asking me why Im there which I told him again why. He wouldnt believe me because according to his notes, Im in for new set of tires which that was from my last visit. Last visit, I did get new set of tires but not my desired tires (I assume his employee didnt communicate with him at my last visit but EVERYTHING should be in the system because I have warranty for those new tires). I was pressured to call my husband to confirm with Gunny what needed to be done. 2 hrs later, I heard Gunny ordering my tire to be delivered end of day. Then, Gunny came back saying tire cant be repaired, they dont have my tire in stock, they will put spare tire on, and reschedule me to come back tmmr. Day 3, I went back first thing in the morning. They put in a new tire and didnt do alignment. That took them 2 and half hrs to get done.
Worst customer service ever! My wife dropped her car off at 10:00 a.m. to have a tire patched. They told her they would get to it but it may be a little bit. I went to check up on it at 5:00 p.m. and still was not completed but I was assured that it would be done before they closed a 7. When I went to pick it up at 7 they still had not completed the work and said they were not going to do it. What a waisted day and now I have to spend time going somewhere else tomorrow. Not only will I never do business with this shop anymore I will no longer do business with any Firestone shops!
Horrible service, you have to make an appointment, I show up 30 minutes prior, is been over 1.5 hours and still they are not even working on my vehicle, when you ask for an ETA they just said, we do not know, maybe another hour or two, and if you do not like it, they tell you to re schedule to get their warranty labor. I am stuck at this place now, but I am sure I will never use this Firestone ever again. FYI all Firestone honors the military discounts, you do not need to visit this location, is ridiculous the poor service they provide.
Fast and thorough, good price points and selection
NEVER. EVER. EVER come to this firestone and any firestone in general. Unless you are getting service on tires, go somewhere else. They over charge for parts by 200-300%. They tried to charge me $450 for an AC evaporator when I could get it from Oreillys for $97. They refuse to take parts from customer as then they cant gouge you. That being said, they recharged my AC and stated the evaporator needed to be replaced as it was leaking. Was going to cost over 1k so I refused. 2 months later my AC is still working which meant they never looked at the evaporator and just assumed I had a leak. You have been warned! (I would have showed the invoice but site is not letting me upload documents)
Made an appointment for 9am this morning to put new tires on. Just called them at 3pm and they still are not done. How can you be this slow and expect to stay in business. You have forever lost my business!
Would not recommend this place. I was coming off work on base and found that I had a nail in my tire. The guy at the front desk who a tech said was the manager said he was booked out to Friday and couldn’t help me. I asked if he had air to fill up my tire to make it to the next tire shop. He said he had one on the side of the building. The hose was laying on the ground, no tire gauge.I drove on the tire to another place off academy. They literally from the moment I got their to check out took ten minutes on the dot. 6:23-6:33This Firestone would rather have someone drive with a safety hazard then to take ten minutes out of one their schedules to throw a patch on a tire.
This has happened my last 2 appointments.I will come to my appointment, one being at 0900 and 1300. Both times I will come back 3 to 4 hours later (double the time it would supposedly take them to do an inspection and an alignment) just to come back to my jeep that has not moved an inch where I left it. Theyre excuse everytime was, sorry about that sir, our team has been falling behide schedule. How about yall make a reasonable schedule to give your team a reasonable amount of time to complete each task theyre given. Im a mechanic myself, this is poor organization and time management. Ill rather go to Walmart auto care, least they keep their word.
Great place to get things fixed mechanically, not exactly the most knowledgeable when it comes to fixing the more intricate parts of the vehicle or diagnosing, but customer service was great, which made up for it.
I have had a HORRIBLE experience at this firestone. I have been using firestone for years and never had any problems. Unfortunately that ended in April. Went to get an issue with my car fixed. Over $3000, 4 months, and not 1 but 2 different dealership diagnostics, the issue is still not fixed, in fact it has gotten worse! I should have never taken it here. I will never go back to firestone again!
I had a 2 oclock appointment for brakes and swap out my summer tires for winter tires, and after being told multiple times that my car was up next, another customer was told hers was up next. I asked how long it tAkes to do the brakes and was told a couple hours. This 3 1/2 hours after my appointment time, then that said we thought you were someone else, we are not gonna get to yours today. Thank you, firestone, for wasting half my day.
Made an appointment for 3 and when I got there the guy spent 15 min on the phone before telling me I didn’t have an appointment. After finding that I actually did, they finally took my car back. Spent an hour and a half waiting on a tire rotation and oil change and then when I asked how much longer it would be the guy told my it was my fault because I was 15 min late! These people are rude and they messed up another persons car when I was there. Let her drive away with the bottom of her car hanging loose! What a joke. Very disappointed.
Theyre pretty busy typically, but the service is quick. We dropped our car off hours early because we had errands to run and they got to our car before our appointment time! Im not sure if this is typical but it was a nice surprise. The prices are affordable for military and you can expect good quality service!
Everyone was very nice but nice didn’t fix my car...in fact, no one did. I came in yesterday asking for an oil change and to have a nail removed from one of my tires. I was told that they were busy but if I left my car then they would get to it, due to my work I could not leave my vehicle but made an appointment to come back the next day. I came in for my APPOINTMENT and sat there for 3 hours, my car has still not moved from where I parked it. What is the point of an appointment? Really disappointed
Come here if you want your TPMS sensors not installed on your new wheels, locking wheel lock lost in the parking lot and over $40 worth of valve stem covers and caps not put on your new tires. Firestone is complete trash and full of incompetent mechanics. The counter guys were cool but doesnt make up for the clown shoes service I received.Take your business to discount tire on North Academy where you can see the highly motivated professionals work on your car while waiting in a nice lobby. They know customer service over there, and you wont be disappointed.
Great place to get maintenance completed on your car. The prices are reasonable and they offer lifetime warranty on the tires and limited services. The facility is clean and the staff are nice. Its also located next to a sandwich shop so you can get food while you wait.
Why make appointments when your shop cant keep the time. Had an appointment for 0930, car was finally taken back at 1030. Currently at the shop right now. Wondering how long its going to take for the tires to be put on. Ordered tires online and made appointment on the 10th of July. I dont have time to spend all day at a ship for 4 tires to be put on. Utter BS.
So sick of this place. I go there for convenience but it always takes so incredibly long for an oil change. About to drive to Florida in the next few weeks so I thought it would be smart to have a full vehicle inspection. I also ask them to check out a wheel thats making a whiny noise when I turn. Not only did they not check into this noise as they told me they completely forgot but Im assuming they didnt rotate my tires as well. If they did you would have to be blind to miss the massive leak coming from my CV axle... Its not clicking yet but whos to say that wouldnt have completely failed during my 1000+ mile drive. Im beyond mad and seriously want some money back. This was not my only bad experience, I dont know why I continued to give them another chance.I bought a new splash guard with new hardware for under my engine as the old one was falling apart. I leave my appointment and get on the highway and can hear the thing just completely scraping the ground. I look underneath and notice its missing half the hardware. So I paid $50 for a new guard and hardware just for them to say screw it lets not install all of it because were lazy. So done with this place and so incredibly pissed
The worst service I’ve ever experienced. I had called two weeks prior for breaks to be installed on my truck. I drop it off a couple of minutes early, to ensure I have all documents taken care. I leave for a few hours and around four this after noon ( 11 was the time for my truck to be there) I called to see if there was any update. The lady that answer the phone stated that my truck was next to be done. I was totally okay with that, consider they might not have had all the parts readily available. A few more hours pass by now it’s 6:30pm, which is thirty minutes until they call. I call once more only to be told that all of the technicians left for the day, so they’d have to get to it tomorrow.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!! UNLESS YOU CAN WAIT A WEEK!I love Firestone. I have the card I get all my services done there I dont even care what it cost because its always been good work and service. BUT!!!! THIS IS THE WORST FIRESTONE IVE EVER BEEN TOO! I scheduled three weeks in advanced with alot over services needing to be done. I get it alot work alot of time but your a business I think over $1000 in services would be a good idea to get to them. Nope did not even get it in. Also didnt notify me until they about to close and I still have to work that night. My techs went hom.Well so did my time and praise for your company. DO NOT RECOMMEND UNLESS YOU CAN GET A WHOLE WEEK OFF!. GET BETTER TECHS.
Mike and the entire staff are awesome! We have been taking our van here for 2.5 years and they have always fixed it on time and tried to keep it within budget every time. They do get backed up at times but it is a smaller location that serves a large post. Check the website for coupons. They will use those on top of the military discount they offer.
This store is absolutely ridiculous! My wife and I will never bring our cars here again. We brought her car in because she had gotten a screw in her tire and because of the area it was in we figured they would be able to take the screw out and patch the tire. The tires on the car have not even had 5,000 miles on them. When the dismounted the tire from the rim they then came back stating they couldnt patch it and that the rest of my tires as well needed to be replaced. they then gave me a ridiculous estimate to have all four tires replaced. I had them put the donut on my car and i took it to Big-O-Tires. They were able to take the screw out with a screw driver and patch up the tire. The technicians there said that they do not understand why Firestone could not do it that it was an easy repair. All this Firestone does is try to rip off soldiers and thinking that since my wife is a female they could take advantage of her and talk her into buying four tires that were not needed at all. Good thing we knew what they were trying to do and we took the car elsewhere. Its a shame that they do this to so many soldiers and take advantage of them and the fact that its convenient for the soldiers they just try to make more money off of them. Beware people get a second opinion before paying for ANYTHING here!
They charged me 860 on my brakes, and the same day I had a price match from big o tires saying they would do it for 600. Firestone said I would get a military discount. 860 compared to 600? And big o tires didn’t give me a discount. Absolutely ridiculous. I asked them where the military discount came into play and They gave me a bs answer saying I got certain parts discounted. I asked them if they could price match with big o tires, I had the price match IN HAND. They said I would have to come in when the manager was there and talk to him. I came in later and talked to him. He told me there was nothing he could do and that it should of been done that day. I will never refer you to anyone, especially soldiers. Shame on you for treating a soldier that way, and I’m disgusted you could lie and scam the way you did
The employees are very friendly, and where able to take care of my cabin air filter and tire alignment in a very timely manner. I will definitely be going back to this location.
Since 2012 Ive been using Firestone Auto Care. Management there Ive find them to friendly, respectful, very professional and understand my needs. Ive noticed fire stone located on Fort Carson, I believe its one the leading car care centers within Colorado Springs.Ive seen the workmanship they have done over the past four years. Prices, are fair and also, likely to receive warranty and a discount. Outside our military base most car care center dont give reasonable discounts compare to on base.Average Solider or Veteran are likely to use services provided on post. Saving time and money.Fire stones customer service has been unwavering serving out active duty and veterans alike. I would recommend them to anyone in need of car care.
This place gets a lot of hard knocks, and I wont say they dont deserve some - long waits, some times cranky service, and yeah, Ive had a tech tell me something I knew (I mean I KNEW) was wrong, but have no doubt he believed what he was telling me (in other words I dont think he was trying to rip me off at all). However, I run into this every where Ive ever lived. Ive been coming to these guys off and on since 2010, and, for the most part, they have always treated me right and have never given my wife any grief when I wasnt with her. Do I think that happens? Sure. Ive seen it places. This store has always tried to do right by me, give me good prices, and as long as Ive treated them with respect and not come in with an attitude, have always, ALWAYS, treated me well. And if something wasnt done right (which Ive had happen) and I came back (which I did) they made it right. A lot of times you get what you give. Come in being a know-it-all and throw attitude, Im sure youll get attitude back. They are HUMAN and can make a mistake. Give them a chance to fix it. Everyone is quick to blame or post negative reviews, few post positive. Keep that in mind when you read reviews for any place.
They were very knowledgeable and thorough.. the service was fast and done right
Very slow, and you may have to bring the car back for the same thing. Waste of time and money.
I normally dont take my vehicles to Firestone, simply because I enjoy working on them myself. I know that places like this are generally more expensive than others, and Firestone is even more so than most. Some things I cannot do, and tires are one of them. Every time I have taken my vehicle to this location specifically, I have had to take it to another to have the work redone.First, I picked up a nail back in March or so of this year. I took the car to them to have it patched, and was told it was in an area that could not be patched. It was over 2 inches from the edge of the tread and was patched by another shop with no issues.A few months later, I needed new tires so I got a quote from them. The tires I wanted, they were over $600 before installation. The same tires at WalMart were $400 out the door (I understand the store doesnt control the price they charge for tires, but cmon). I ended up having them installed by this store, due to convenience of being closer to home. I had a horrible shake at 60mph. I took them back for a rebalance, and they tried to sell me on an alignment and suspension diagnosing. I took the car to another Firestone in town (as I had purchased the lifetime balance/rotation) and the car was smooth after that. After 7500 miles, I decided it was time for a balance and rotation. My wife dropped the car off at this location on base, thinking that it was a fluke, and had the same issue again. Again, we had to take it to the second location to get it fixed right.Last week, I took the car to them to diagnose a slow leak. They did nothing except add air and told me if it happened again to bring it back, again. Not a chance. I took it to the other location (on South Academy) and once again explained my issues and what I had done. They actually listened and fixed the problem.I have also had Soldiers of mine have issues with this location, and heard many stories. I advise to stay away from this store, and go somewhere else.
I have been using Firestone for 9 years now, this is by far the most customer friendly location I have used.
James, Mike, Matt, and the rest of the crew are amazing. Prices are great they apply coupons when they can. They keep my vehicle safe, which keeps my daughter and I safe and thats priceless. Thanks everyone!
I went in for an oil change no big deal. However they informed me of issues that where hiding under my hood. They showed me how my serpentine belt was starting to crack. Had they not checked my car out when doing the oil change I would have never known till it was too late. Who know how much damage could have happened if they didnt catch that. Id much rather pay to replace the belt now than pay to re build an engine later.
By far the best price in town for BFGs. I shopped Les, Discount, and Walmart but Firestone came in hundreds less than the best public store quote. Not to mention you save on tax.Only reason they don’t get 5 stars is that they didn’t confirm my correct tires came in after order. The warehouse sent the wrong size and they didn’t figure it out till I came in for my appointment. Additionally, depending on your truck size, they may not be able to confirm the alignment. Mine was too big.
Asked for a quote on ball joints for my Jeep. Labor price was about the average. However, the price for parts was a complete robbery. I can buy all four ball joints, the exact same ones they quoted, for less than the price of one on their quote. $580 dollars for parts that can be bought at a local auto parts store for $150. I cant believe the Army allows a crooked organization like this to even operate on post.
Good staff really nice. Over priced for a simple oil change. Can easily do it yourself for $40 less or even go somewhere else such as a dealership for less.
My daughter took her car in for an oil change. When she went to pay for the service they informed her the air filter and a license plate bulb needed to be replaced (I do appreciate that they inspected other items on her car and informed her of the status of those items). When she asked how much that would cost, they told her it would cost $82.....SERIOUSLY!!!!!!I understand it is a business and their #1 priority is to make a buck but $82 to change a bulb and a filter is absolutely ludicrous and seemingly criminal.I will never use Firestone again for anything!!!!
Super helpful staff. Polite and friendly. They helped me select what I needed and offered me a product that actually really helped my car. I just went in for an oil change and it was not that much for such a good job they did.
Had a service engine light come on. He came out and told me what the code was right away and showed me the possible areas that needed attention. The only reason it’s not 5 Star is because he was kinda short with me and gave vague answers about the code other than that I really appreciate him looking up the code.
They stayed late to help me with a flat tire. Courteous and knowledgeable. Watched a good movie in the waiting area too. Great service!
Theyre the only car repair place on Fort Carson so they kind of have a monopoly on the market. They typically have been very helpful and do an OK job but after my last oil change, I drove my car for no more than 5 minutes and it started smoking. Apparently some oil had spilled over and was burning off but when we took off the engine cover we found one of the technicians had spelled a lot of sunflower seeds on the engine block and didnt bother to clean it up. The manager and staff had to get a vacuum to suck the shells out.
This is the best Firestone out of Colorado Springs. If you have an Id card, you can get on Fort Carson. They are happy to help air up your tires. I dont like the one on Astrazon. They have an attitude.
Went in the get our tires replaced before pcs. I scheduled an appointment on Saturday for Sunday afternoon. The woman working the front desk was friendly, polite and informative. There were only two mechanics working but my family went bowling and only played two games while they changed out our tires, checked our brakes and aligned our car. Great, fast service and if we ever come back to Carson, well take our car here!
Not good, I took my car yesterday for tire replacement. Everything good they got my car ready in 1 and 30 minutes. I got into my car and the first thing I saw was my paperwork moved. So I check my spare money that i have on my compartment and just what I imagined missing money. Went back inside and they ask the mechanic that work on my car and he said I didnt touch anything. Im still waiting for them to call me.
I bought my car at a really good price... after a good number of car problems i now know why... i have been taking my car here and they have done a good job they always show there work when i ask. and explain everything well the staff has always been friendly to me.
If they were located off post they would be BLACKLISTED by now.I had an oil change done on my car, at pick up they told me I needed a new battery asap, that it was dying. Thankfully, I knew it was still under warranty and took it to AutoZone to check. It was perfectly fine! I asked around and there are other people, mostly ladies who have been ripped off, lied to, and taken advantage of by these con artists. It is absolutely ridiculous and disgusting that they are using shady and predatory business practices on military men and women and their families and they should be ashamed. I would give 0 stars if that was an option.
I feel they are incompetent with their management of services. I called to see what they had available on Nov 4th, they said next opening was Friday the 8th, I said that didnt work and asked about Tuesday, they said yes. Naturally I thought we were both talking about the Tuesday following the 8th. I show up on the 12th at 9am, and Im not in their system, but was for the 5th, which I thought they had no opening? Called at 5pm to find out the status and to learn they havent even gotten to it yet. WTF?I originally posted the above on Tuesday. Unfortunately the staff there was going through a transition and the guy I was dealing with was on his last day and you could tell he didnt care. Dennis made the situation right and took care of everything.
Worst experience ever, the person driving my car left a stench in there that was horrid. It was like a wall of 💩 hit me in the face. I got cloth seats too. They know who it is too, sorry homeboy but you need some hygiene tips. That is bad for business.
I bought a 12 year old car with 160,000 miles on it. After driving for a couple days I noticed the brakes were making a little noise, I took it in for a free brake inspection. I was honestly expecting them to come back to me with a list of things they would try and tell me I needed (due to former experience with other shops).Instead, they exceeded my expectations and were 100% honest. They let me know everything is in good shape and that the noise was from rust due to the car sitting unused for so long (which they stated should correct itself in a couple of weeks).Ill definitely come here for future needs as they have earned my trust. Thanks team
Brought brand new tires from this place to find out a year later that they were put on wrong and my drivers side tire was deep into my wheel wall only after my spouse got into a accident. Three of my four tire treading is now gone and now I have major damage a repairs that geico has to do because of poor work. Never again. Thank goodness nothing happened to me or my wife while driving.
They were very helpful in every aspect, both quickly ordering and mounting my new tire. Couldnt be happier.
I work there
Went here several times. every time I went something else broke 2 weeks later. Friendly and in a convenient location but I have no more trust for these guys, I even researched everything on the paperwork reguarding the parts and unless it’s 500$ for 2 hours of work they made an error charging me.
I needed my battery checked. The service man cleaned my battery, tested it, and made some recommendations .Very fast and easy. Wonderfully nice people.
I paid $198 for them to have my car, appointment was scheduled ahead of time, to look at a door latch. Appointment was for 1000, car dropped off at 0945, got my car back at 1528 and nothing was done. No price check for the part/labor, and literally paid $198 for them to visually look at my door latch. They ALSO broke a piece of my interior as well, will NEVER go to these guys again and recommend that you go ANYWHERE else to get anything done. Unless you dont mind paying $200 to have them LOOK at your car and fix NOTHING. Absolutely garbage but hey, they the only ones on post so they can charge whatever they want
The only good thing about this Firestone is it’s conveience on the Army installation other than that they are slow they never have the parts I need when I make an appointment a week out and you have a new diesel vehicle that takes DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) which all new diesel vehicles by law require they do not know what it is and will not fill it for you. I had a full service oil change which included topping all fluids other than transmission and gasoline I paid 240 for the service and fuel filter and was not told until after I paid the DEF was not included and that they did not know what it was. I have used this facility numerous times and all experiences were substandard. I am Active duty military and this Firestone’s location fits perfectly for my day to day life it’s unfortunate that convienince is the only good factor about this store
Worst experience Ive ever had with Firestone (specifically the Fort Carson location). I was scheduled for a 12pm tire rotation. I sat in their lobby until 1:30pm watching everybody elses vehicles get driven into bays for services. At my request, the ticket was voided and I left without getting the tire rotation. Was my vehicle at the bottom of their priority list seeing that my tire rotation was free of charge? I dont know, but thats what it felt like leaving the parking lot.
The best work here
While Ive only gotten tires here Everytime they are knowledgeable and great. They also offer military discounts so thats a plus. 5/5
Honest and professional. Ask for Mr. Steve!
Very disappointed and disgusted in this establishment!!!, I took my truck in about a month ago to get the sqeaking fixed from the belt and my oil changed A few weeks!! later the squeaking came back ( I had to put chalk on the belt until I found time to take it) and so Today I had to take my truck back again for something they should have fixed the first time. And now my truck had absolutely NO OIL I found this out by stoping at an auto parts place no one said anything this was the same day I took it to get the squeaking fixed again . I was going to take it back but I do not trust them with my truck because of the first situation . I took it there because it was convenient for me because I work right down the street and I can leave my truck and walk back to work and get it on my lunch break . I am a single parent that needs to work I can’t afford to miss days because of something I trusted that was fixed the first time I need my truck. I don’t trust them..
They have a very great staff here. Always polite and professional when it comes to dealing with people. Although it does seem like they dont take the time necessary to make sure the cars are worked on properly. After going here and getting tires they called and told me I needed an alignment for my 2011 subaru. I told them to go ahead and charge it to my account. I was leaving the next day for Indiana. I got to Omaha, Nebraska when I noticed something wasnt right. So I took it in the nearest Firestone. They fixed the alignment that this Firestone here in Ft. Carson never did or didnt do right I dont know which. However I went back in and they made it right they credited my account back 69.99 which was the price of the alignment, they sincerely apologized. For this I am greatful. Will I ever got to this Firestone again, no I will not. I advise anyone using this Firestone to really look over what ever work you get done.
Way overpriced. wasted $40 for them to check where the oil leaks from lol they had no clue, just i think bs. what funny is, HOW ARE YOU GOING TO CHECK TO SEE WHERE THE OIL COMING FROM WITHOUT CLEANING THE ENGINE BAY UP? lmao. long story short. i fixed my car for $136 from buying part at autozone instead of paying $800 for them. theres couple other shady things as well but im not a snitch. come here at your own risk but dont tell ppl after you got ripped off cuz they will laugh at you lol
Firestone complete auto Center the front staff needs to work on there communication instead of disappointing their costumors Denny say one thing and her guy worker comes behind her and say something totally different. Please get it together. And to your guy worker 5 3 it is not Professional to lie. I will give you all a pass for now in the mean and main time train online or together for a better excellent review. Try smiling that works it makes thing seem better even if there not. You employees please work together at least for the troops who serve our nation ok.Be encouragedSignedI will check U
Mike and Tony took care of me today! Awesome customer service from the both of them. Thank you Mike and Tony! Thank you Firestone!
They normally have pretty good service sometimes rather excellent the staff is really friendly especially Danita who actually will remember your car and name typically.
Take your car here for oil change...thats it. I had a part replace about 6 months ago...now that part is acting up because it wasnt installed properly. Now they want to charge me 90 to run a diagnostic to see if the part is faulty or if something else is the issue. I know what the issue is....you guys installed the part wrong. Zero stars. Ill take my car to a dealership.
Made a appointment for 1600....Got there at 1559....My truck Sat in the parking lot for 1hr 10 minutes.....Left with no service!.....and the job was just rear breaks...
I made an appointment for 7:00am for tires. It took three and a half hours! I used to install tires and there is no way I would have taken that long. Not only were they extremely slow, but one of the tires was actually the wrong size. So I had to wait for the right tire to be delivered. The staff was very apologetic and professional, but if I had known it was going to take that long, I would have arranged for a ride to and from the tire shop.Nice clean showroom, and again very professional staff.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE TO USE THIS COMPANY. THEY LIE AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF MILITARY SPOUSES WHEN THEIR HUSBANDS ARE NOT PRESENT. I HAD TO FILE AND ICE COMPLAINT AS WELL A BBB COMPLAINT ON THEY POOR SERVICE.MY NEIGHBORS WENT THERE BECAUSE THEY WERE PCSING OFF THE INSTALLATION. COMING DOWN CHILES A NAIL COMPLETEY FLATTEN THE TIRE. THEY HAD ENOUGH TREAD TO MAKE IT TO FIRESTONE ON POST. THE MANAGER STATED, “THAT THEY COULD NOT HELP THAT FAMILY WITH KIDS BECAUSE HE HAD TO TEND TO CARS THAT NEEDED TO BE COMPLETED BY SATURDAY. WHICH IS UNDERSTANDABLE. HOWEVER BEING A COMPANY ON A “MILITARY BASE” ONE WOULD THINK IN A EMERGENCY SITUATION SOMETHING COULD HAVE BEEN DONE.SO NOT ONLY ARE THEY DISHONEST, THEY DEFINITELY ARE NOT HERE TO HELP A STRANDED MILITARY FAMILY WITH KIDS IN NEED 😡😡😡😩😩
Fair priced compared to others. Don’t be afraid to use the Car care center either
I agree with a previous reviewer: convenience is about the only redeeming quality to this place. I purchased 4 new tires from Firestone with full warranties. Got a nail in a tire, used fix-it flat to drive it to this place, only to be told they wouldnt replace it under warrantee because I used the Fix-It Flat. Fine, but they wouldnt repair the tire either, and wanted to charge $86 for a replacement. A quick call to a competitor confirmed that a $15 repair is do-able. This is the 2nd time Ive taken my vehicle here, and the 2nd time Ive been jerked around, but the last time theyll get anymore money.
Brought my car In for an alignment, showed up early left the car with them, went and had lunch, came back and almost at hour 3 of them Working. About half way thru my appointment time I caught them revving my car up to the point where I can hear it in the waiting area and talking about what engine is in the car, after asking the front desk about it the person working tried to downplay it as if they did nothing wrong. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE.
Excellent service, I recommend having an appointment if getting service
I was totally shocked that is was gonna cost me $1,000 dollars to get two things fixed! And if you dont pay them in full your car is stuck there!!!! Never again I dont care how close they are to me!
Took my car for service. Alignment was so poor I have to take my car somewhere else to get it right... The other shop told me they needed to do a Wedge adjustments/Shim kits (back) because they could not do it themselves. and so lied to me telling me oh...well in the manual there is no real number to the manufacturer specification....really????? well how come another mechanic and shop was able to do it to the manufacturer and now I can drive my car and feel safe. Plus it takes them forever, hate working and fixing other issues my car had, I looked up the parts put in my car and the costs where lowerrrrrr than they put in the receipt. I feel cheated, lied will never again take it there for sure...I recommend to take your car to: JAPANESE CONNECTION AUTO REPAIR3519 E BOULDER ST COLORADO SPRINGS, CO 80909
My buddy brought in his car for a simple nail in the tire for a patch. They purposely offset the patch to say there was two holes and it was now unrepairable. Being a mechanic myself knew they purposely did this to make money on him after the remark we could make more on an E-7 was made. They ultimately ended up putting a brand new tire on it refunded back to my buddy for their wrong doing. I would never trust this place.
Charged me $247.20 for a stud and lugnut repair($1.99 for stud, $1.99 for lugnut $238 for labor). It took 1 hr for them to complete the repair. (The service was really excellent). The cost was absolutely outrages! $238 per hour! In 2015 it cost me $76 and it took 45 min for the same exact repair, on the same exact hub, at Firestone. When did patrons lose the power to control pricing? Big business does what they want and we all just take it and say okay. Im very disappointed at the greed of this business. Its all firestone not just this one.
Great job! Its so nice to have people that still enjoy their jobs and treat the customer with respect.
Outstanding service, staff very courteous and professional. Highly recommended.
I called Firestone around 3:00 p.m to try to schedule an oil change. Patrick the employee told me I can bring it in at 4:00. I was on my way home before 5:00. Thank you Patrick for your great customer service.
So I got a quote from this firestone for new tires and installation for around $660. I get there a couple days early from my appointment just to confirm the quote I received and the number they had was way off. They were trying to charge me over $900 and didnt want to come anywhere close to the price they quoted me on even when I showed them proof of the quote I received. Plus to install the tpsm system for my 5 tires was $50. That is double the amount discount tires charges. Just FYI the number they quote you on isnt close to what theyre going to try to charge, they have a lot of hidden fees. I didnt end up doing business with them which is why I cant give them a one star.
Fast service for an oil change and you can make appointments online.
