Took a screen door in for mesh replacement. Small job with no complications. Was quoted $125. I left without having the work done. Took the door to an out of town for mesh replacement with same day completion for $27 including tax. This is the same as prior replacement. Buyer beware with Baker Glass. either they were not interested in doing the job or simply ripping off locals who do not have another source in town. shop local does not apply to this business. The last replacement lasted years so Baker cannot claim they are better. Response to Baker owner- thank you for a response and wishing me well in supporting another source. As a consumer, I have a right to express in a review. Just as you welcome good reviews, you can listen to what is not reported as good to potentially address if you choose. Yes you can do business as you choose as the consumer can do as they choose. I can commend you for what you mention is community contribution. That is important.
