Very rude owner. Dropped off bike on Sat to fix and told me it would be ready on Wed. I called Thursday to ask if It was ready and he said “Did I call you?”. I recommend you be a little more friendly and have a better attitude. Demeanor is really bad. Smile a little more it won’t hurt you!

Horrible communication from the shop owner. I had dropped off a bike frame to get painted. Down time was suppose to be 4-6 days… I called the shop to see if the frame was ready for pick up about 7 days after drop off. I was told paint was still being ordered. Mind you this was a basic metallic grey color.. Another week passes by and the bike is still not even prepped for paint.. He later told me he was busy and didn’t have time to paint the frame. He should of been upfront from the beginning and shouldnt of been giving me the run around.. Wasted 3 weeks of my time.

When he opened it was nice dealing with him but now its horrible, cant get any service from this place, all they have are cheap no brand bicycles and accessories, go take your business elsewhere. this place is no good.

Owner is kinda creepy. he likes to kiss customers non consensually. true story.

Very friendly and great customer service! The owner Responded to my email on Christmas Day and looked at my bike the following day. He was quick and very reasonably priced. I will definitely take my bike to this location for any other issues that may pop up.

Hector is a class act. Every once in a while you meet someone who honors people and has passion for what they do. Hector is one of those. I decided to bring my bike that needed some much needed TLC and Hector went over and beyond. He exceeded my expectations. I needed 2 new tires 2 new rims and 2 tubes as well as some new grips and a tune up. He gave me the best price around and I could not be happier with the result! My bike looks brand new and rides even better! Im so glad I decided to go with hectors instead of going to these corporate bike shops, Id rather help out the mom and pop shop any day!

No good, no costumer service

This is my first time visiting this store. The sign saids the store hours is from 1-5. It is currently 1:42pm and the store is still closed. There is a total of 5 people outside waiting for the store to open. To top it off, its 108 degrees. Absolutely unacceptable.

Hectors bike shop is a great! I walked in while having some bike issues on our extended tour and Hector was able to get things fixed and us back on the road right away. Also some really neat history as Hector raced bikes professionally in Central America. Highly recommend!

Hector is the best bike shop ever I been to many bike shops but hector has surpassed all of them. I highly recommend you going to his bike shop, no one can repair your bike like hector. He can do more then just fixing them he can paint them, Restore them etc.

This is my 3rd time coming this week, it says they open at 11am. The 3 times I came,I either left my house a little bit before 11 or a little bit after ....still wasnt open...Right now its 11:30 (still closed) they need to be consistent with the hrs or just change it....It sucks. There loss tho cause Ive been waiting here for 30 min and I see a lot of customers leaving ...Literally seen about 8 people.

Went in with my back Bmx rim off looking for a tire and inner tube. Hector hooked me up and put my bike back together again he even noticed my cranks were loose and tighten them right up got back on my bike and good to go. Would recommend anyone. Great shop!

This bike shop is decent the prices are very high though. I came here originally because walmart didnt have the type of tube I needed so I bought a heavy duty tube from Hector. Worked great he even helped me when I came back after having problems with putting it on. There is something off about him as if he has something to hide, anyways the service is decent Im actually thinking about getting a repair on my front tire today hopefully everything goes smooth

Went in expecting wizard good times! Met Hector or Dr.. PePe as most know him and the rest is magic. Helped me pick out the perfect Huffy and I rode home to Long Beach on it. As I rode away I looked back to see him in the window smiling and waiving to me as I shed a single tear...... I highly recommend this wonderland of bicycle bliss and Dr. PePes pleasant nature.

Bought expensive bikes, his and hers, Phat Cycles and took longer to receive than quoted. Then the guys bike tires started splitting. Hector said it was the sun but explained that the bikes were always in garage or inside and the bikes were only two months old. Since he claimed there was nothing he could do I offered to pay for replacements as riding the bike was unsafe. It has been two months and still I have not received a call from Hector. Have driven by four times and he just gives me the run-around. Dont know why since I was going to pay for them. Finally fed up went to Dons bicycle on Riverside and they ordered the tires, had them in four days. As stated in other reviews it is a crap shoot if the store is open, I guess he is the only one that works there. He closed for July 4th for 5 days. Dont know how someone can run a business like this. Horrible customer service.

Unfortunately I wish my last encounter was as good as the other ones. It started as a repair/warranty on a 2-speed rear hub I had repair a while back when I brought it back for repair in is sat at his shop for about 3-5 months without being worked on, throughout the summer. While it was down I decided to have it panted/powder coated since it was taking so long. I plained taking the parts to a powder coating shop in Downey California and thats when Hector told that the $150.00 I was going to spend on it was to much. This is when I agreed to have one shops he works with do it. Up to this point everything was ok and going fine but, when a time of completion given to me by Hector and was not. I started hearing how he was losing money on this job. Now I did not tell Hector and his son what I was going to pay them they set the price. Now that was one thing. After he did get the parts back from the shop/people power coating it 2 major part where painted the wrong color which would ok if they where going to resand blast the frame and handlebars and paint them the right color but, on reinstalling all the parts/ slap together, done by Hecktors shop my sprocket was installed backwards, parts at the powder coating shop where lost, bolts were not tightened and there was a chip in my handlebars that showed the old paint. This is why I am giving them one star because a half is not availableIn fact after closer inspection nothing was sand blasted and that was part of the verbal contract with Hector. I thought we had an understanding that ALL the parts were to be sand blasted where is the thumbs down button :-(

I bought a bike here and while it was about $100 more expensive than I couldve bough online, it is totally worth to try to ride one to see if it’s a good fit for one.

I bought aBike here, wasnt too happy with the customer service. I was told free maintenance on the bike but after three or or four tune ups Hector didnt want to tune it anymore. I was disappointed never been there since.

The service is extraordinary. The prices are fair.

It was my first time shopping there today and I they treated me well, I bought a locker chain thingy to lock my bike at school and the guy thought me how to use it, good place to shop for bike accesories after all
