Phillip runs the most unethical business I’ve seen in the car industry. He will make false promises of fixing your car just to get it back and immediately need to get it serviced for complete repair again! He won’t return my calls not but I’m not surprised considering how RUDE he was the WHOLE time!!.I should have read reviews before taking my car here because it is CLEAR all the good/FIVE start reviews are FAKE!!! Took my car to this place and spoke to the Manager Phillip. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I decided to take my car somewhere else!In turn, my friend had already taken her car there and after so called repair AND payment, car was not fixed and she took it back! Almost 2 months and she has still not received her car repaired! In fact, on a visit to go check on the status of her vehicle, this SAME manager gave her the phone number to parts and told HER to keep calling for it. He was telling her to DO HIS JOB!! She has paid for the work and has yet to get her car back. I’m bothered by this and at the same time, glad I took my car somewhere else! Something needs to be done about this guys lack of customer service and extreme lack of manners!! I would never have someone like this working for me!! Seems like he has issues with female customers since the so called ‘good’ reviews are from male customers!!

I was concerned about replacing my transmission on my Nissan Sentra. I am happy to report that these guys did a great job! Got me back on the road! I also had bad motor mounts they fixed that as well! This probably wasn’t the cheapest route I could have gone, but then what could I have expected as far as quality? Worth the money! And they were timely with the turn around!

Michael was upfront by explaining what was going to be done when I turned I. The vehicle ... he asked me the reason for me bringing the car in then proceeded to tell me what he will do before getting back to me and letting me know what the diagnosis was.Once the problem/s were diagnosed... Michael got in touch with me to explain what the problem was and advised me accordingly he also sent me an invoice.When the job was completed Michael called me in ... explained everything that was done and showed me the parts that were replaced ... he informed me about the warranty and the precautions I should take and what to look for ... he explained to me about bringing the car back in 10 days for additional checkup.All in all Michael was thorough in explaining to me what to do if I think something is wrong!

I just had my car towed here because it was having problems starts and I dropped my car off to Phillip, and he took great care of me. He took great care of my Lexus (my first car) and did not try to charge me anything extra except for what I asked him to do. Phillip was dope overall as far and getting me help and financing but outside of him terrible experience I got my car fixed and received it not knowing my screw was missing out my break caliber my car was making a weird noise when I would hit a bump or ride over 30 miles drove all the way from Fontana to Fresno to see what it was to find out the screw was missing and the other was almost coming out had to literally buy a whole new screw luckily it didn’t come out on the grape vine or I could of lost my life !!

My experience at AAMCO has been very pleasant to say the least. The Tech Edwin is very knowledgeable and gave me different options I could do for my budget. My cousin Husband took his car to get it checked out and when he went to pick it up it was worst than it was before! She tried to explain that the car DIED down the street from their shop and was upset because they had to walk back to the shop with a child. wile upset and trying to explain that the car is dead down the street one worker then proceeded to pulled out a baton and threatened to hit a two women that was with a small 1 year old child. I will NEVER recommend this shop to anyone. Very poor choice that worker made. This situation is far from over....

Called many shops before AAMCO Fontana and no one wanted to work on my motor home. Called Phillip and made an appointment first thing in the morning. He and his mechanic were very professional and finished the the work quickly. I will be coming back for future service

Walk in for a transmission service and received a full point inspection, come to realize I had a busted seal in my radiator, the guys were quick to point it out and saved me from what could of been a worse situation. Phil the store manager insisted on getting the job done right so I can in his words keep my family safe on the road. Good job guys.

Went there a little over a week ago and spoke to phillip and he took care of everything I needed. Had my transmission full service and radiator flush also had my drive belt replaced. Took my truck in at 8 am and it was done at 12. My service was very quick and professional, very fair and cheap pricing i called about 4 other places and all were much more expensive. I would definitely recommend this spot and will be returning for other business if needed.

Had my car over and over for 3 months, finally admitted the problem was on the warranty. Towed in 5 times. Got my car last week, hoping its fixed.

I stopped by because I was traveling out of town needed to do a transmission flush and refill, it was near closing time when I stopped by so there was not enough time to get it done however I needed to leave early the next day, I was really worried I might have car troubles if I left without doing the service (I tought I might be low on transmission fluid) upon expressing my worries to the manager named PHILLIP he went ahead and had a mechanic check my transmission fluid levels free of charge and assured me I would get to my destination without a problem as my transmission fluid level was good, I am so grateful they took the time to check this for me even though I did not get any service and they did this free of charge, I got to my destination safely and will be going to Aamco from now on. I brought my 1984 BMW 320i and was looking for a quote and wanted to replace the transmission fluid and the filter kit. I was explained in detail what the vehicle needed and was presented with a quote with out a sales pitch. I felt comfortable and did not feel pressed to do it. He was very engaging with me to find out about my car. The work was done exceptionally well in good time and with no overselling of unnecessary services. Randall told me to call him if there were any problems with the car and it would be taken care of immediately. The car runs great, the service was great. After my first call and speaking with Phillip, I knew this was my best choice to get my transmission done at. Phillip knew what was wrong with me just telling him my issues. He dealt with my insurance promptly and secured the authorization, gave me a good price on the out of pocket expense to upgrade to a new transmission instead of the used one. All the work was done timely and the car runs great! Very pleased with the customer service and the mechanical work completed. Recommend them and will return if any of my other cars have issues.

Today I went to Aamco in Fontana, California. Phillip, the service manager, took care of me. Edwin checked my car out. I thought I had an oil leak. Turns out I may have run over a paint can or something. They could have gauges me and told me something different to get money out of me, but they did not. Edwin took care of my problem in a professional, and timely manner. I found them to be very honest and truly looking out for my best interest. And as a female that means so much because you always feel you would be taken advantage of as a female. I would highly recommend this shop. So hard to find people who are not trying to gauge you, just honestly letting you know what is wrong with your car or in my case not wrong. BEST SERVICE HANDS DOWN!! Came to change out air and carbon filters. They didnt feel right charging me for something so simple so they did it for free!!!! I came back and got transmission service. I took my car there today because my Air Conditioner doesn’t always blow cold air. After some diagnostic work Phillip, the manager, informed me that they were unable to fix the problem and I would need to go to the dealer. Since he couldn’t fix the problem he wouldn’t charge me anything! Not even for the time! The owner even gave me a ride home while they were trying to diagnose the problem. WOW talk about customer service! If I ever have any car problems in the future I will be going there for sure and I will tell my family and friends too. Recently took my VW TIguan here for my 50k service. They serviced my transmission, changed my oil, and rotated my tires. I appreciated the honest service and fair prices. Definitely recommend this AAMCO.

Philip, the counter staff asked me to pay $500to stop the engine light with advise of his old man mechanica Mexican guy. But I went to O Railly and tested, the salesman gave cleaning spray for $20 which I sprayed and Engine lightwent off. Just imaging how they are cheating customers.

I got my transmission rebuilt here and they did my brakes, and an oil change, very professional shop and courteous also, and they gave me a cold water.

This is the worst place I went to fix my car. On day 1st I called and was told to bring ( drop) car so I did. After 6 hr I called to check, my car was not even touched and I took my car home. On day 2nd I took my car again and I was told cars problem will be fixed but it became worse they charge me for making my car worse. Now I can not drive my car.

I wish I could give more than 5 starts! I had to drive to southern California from the bay area for the weekend and as soon as i got on the road my engine line came on and my car would shake while in idle. I prayed and made it to SoCal in one piece. I went straight to my family mechanic and he quoted me $120 just to look under my hood. I called AAMCO and spoke to Edwin. Edwin explained although to look under the hood would be free, the cost may come when the problem was located. When i arrived i was introduced to the the manager, Phillip as well as Edwin. These two took SUCH great care of me and Jefe (my car :) ) THANK YOU BOTH SOO MUCH! it was about 20 mins until closing but they still took the time to look then actually go and pick my parts up AND fix the issue. I will forever recommend people to this job! THANK YOU AGAIN FELLAS! :)

Accurate diagnostics

I recently just bought a used Honda and didn’t know I had an axle problem until I came to Philip and the guys over at aamco Fontana. Not only did Philip come through with the his promises but also helped me get a reasonable price. I never leave reviews but I had to for this repair shop. Philip overnighted genuine Honda parts and was extremely transparent with the prices and how long the repair process would take. I had to replace an axle, intermediate shaft, and seals. Philip really took care of me. Give them a call about any issue you have for your car and you’ll be taken care of.

When you have a Transmission problem you seek out the Professional someone with experience to solve the conflict and get you back on the road with as little stress as possible.In my case I had an issue with the PCM (Power train Control Module (ECM) basically the brains of how and when the car shifts.Randall the store owner and his team collectively sought out in good faith to resolve my cars symptoms and get my 2010 Dodge Avenger back on the road. Trust me, Not all stories have happy endings and though my particular problem was not related to the transmission and the pcm problem unresolved - the Owner (Randall) made me whole - meaning that after extensive manpower expended by the shop I left with my wallet in check. This speaks volumes to the integrity of the shop - something that money cant buy. You can put your trust and hard earned cash in getting your vehicle repaired at the AAMCO Fontana. You wont be disappointed.RegardsJohn

My fiance took in our 2012 Ford Fusion and it took a little over $1,000 to fix it and he drove it not even 40 miles and now it has something else wrong where they are keeping it until tomorrow but its going to cost me additional $110 to fix. I am not happy nor understanding why it is going to cost me more money to fix it. When the car left we were told it was good to go and then this happened. This is my first bad experience with this place and I am thinking I will not be back after this.

Phillip was great! We took our car on with no appt and he got our vehicle back to us a timely mammer. He was very professional, was very detailed in explaining the problem that our car had and got it fixed. Highly recommended this place if you need auto repairs.

In short, do not take your car here..Very terrible experience. When I went to take my car back there were parts that hadn’t been put back together in my car from their “diagnostic check”. Also, quoted me ~$440 for a transmission speed sensor repair that ended up only costing me ~$270. Told me another sensor was “bad” as well and would cost ~$400. Tried to finesse me out of almost $600. Phillip is a smooth talker and seems like an honest person, though this is far from the truth. I rarely write reviews, but this was the worst consumer experience I’ve had in years.

These guys did a great job. Craig the owner and Josh the manager kept me in the loop throughout the whole process of getting my transmission repaired. They are honest and did what the said.
