I always get excellent help with my questions. Their fabric selection may not be huge but the variety is very well curated. Also, the fabric quality is top notch!The sales people are very friendly and very knowledgeable. This place is my go-to for all my quilting and machine embroidery needs.

Visiting Meissners is like going to the candy store, so many things I want to take home with me! Great selection and variety, and super customer service. Cant wait to get back to in-person classes!

Asked if I needed help and was given an showen things I was interested in seeing.I was asked what my intentions were in use of the product and was given help on picking the best on I would get the most use for what I was an will be doing later pluse saving money on it.

Meissners is a quality store that offers sewing machines, sewing machine accessories, cotton fabric, vacuums, and servicing of your sewing machines. I most enjoy the friendly staff and customer service Ive received in the Folsom store. Ive had my sewing machine serviced and I have purchased a new cover stitch machine in this store. I anticipate I will be a customer as long as they stay in business.

This business is wonderful! I have ordered several things from them and the service has been super polite, reasonable, and swift. Furthermore, their helpful attitude and general good nature has made me feel confident that I can use my longarm with assurance that if something goes wrong, support is a phone call away. A special shoutout to Karl, one of their technicians. Since I live 100 miles away, he helped me problem solve a frame/carriage issue by phone through photos and audio discussion so that he could save me the cost of an in-person visit, even though I did not even purchase my machine from Meissners! Problem solved through his generosity of knowledge and experience. It couldnt have been easy for him with my limited, machine specific, vocabulary 8:) This was service above and beyond my expectations.We all have choices in this world, and I could choose closer machine maintenance, but given my experiences, I plan to have my machine serviced through Meissners exclusively. The additional (appropriate) cost to have a technician travel to me is well worth my peace of mind. Thank you Meissners!

The store manager here is so supportive and helpful. For a novice sewer it is really nice to have a local shop where I feel comfortable asking questions about my machine, my technique, the tools I need, etc.

The employee who helped me find a walking foot for my Kenmore sewing machine was very helpful and her attitude of cheerfulness was a plus.

I knew that I wanted a Bernette b79 sewing and embroidery machine and I bought one from a large online sewing machine retailer. It was delivered but was defective and they accepted my return and refunded the costs. Then I realized that, for what to me was a large purchase, I wanted a store I could visit with staff I could get to know and assistance and education about my machine. Meissner Sewing & Vacuum Center had the best reputation so I called the Folsom store and spoke to Farrah. She was so helpful in getting the exact machine I wanted and I was able to pick it up within a couple days. Covid was in full swing and Meissners was observing the state guided safety precautions, so our visit was necessarily brief. I have called with questions and received prompt, knowledgable answers and I even took my machine in for help with a buttonhole. Farrah and the rest of the staff are great. They really know their stuff. I did purchase the extended warranty so now I dont have to pay a thing if anything goes wrong. It also includes yearly tune-ups and lots of free classes. Because of covid, the in-person classes had been halted, but I am looking forward to the time when I can really dig into all the b79 has to offer. In the meantime, I know I can call if I get stuck. I am so happy with Farrah and the whole Meissner experience that, when a friend told me she wanted to learn to sew for her grand baby, I suggested she go to the Meissner shop nearest her home in Santa Rosa. I am sure they will help her to find exactly the machine she needs. You can get a machine just about anywhere, but its is the service afterward that matters most. Meissner gives that service and beyond.

I had a problem with my 5-year-old Jenome & my local repair shop could not repair Jenomes beyond a certain extent. So I was in great PAIN (except for sewing lol) & had to hire a medical driver to drive me to Folsom where I bought my machine, up & back and twice! Upon receiving my machine I did not automatically but received a demo in the store of Folsom but in a few weeks I tried and it was exactly as it was. I called Folsom and cried, then went to Jim Meissners directly on Inlink upon immediate response a new machine replacement was delivered from San Jose to Atwater CA! It was like Christmas! TY, TY, TY!!!!!

I took my vacuum cleaner here to be repaired and was told that the wait time was 4 weeks, longer than I planned. The receptionist ShelleyAnn was very pleasant and said she was sorry about the wait. She said she could sell me a new one and I’ll probably take her up on it. She made me want to return for the sale.

Had my machine since 2/24 they said it needed a part and put the pressure on to buy a new machine. Finally got to someone today 4/25 that said the couldnt service the machine because it needed a part they cant get. I was told I still have to pay for the service (the one they cant do) and pick up my machine. Another sales job coming Im sure.
