I am very disappointed to have to say this but the customer service skills of the person they have answering the phone is the reason why local mom and pop shops dont survive. I called to inquire and before I could even finish my sentence the woman that answered the phone cut me off and told me she wouldnt be able to answer my question anyways. Its a 45 minute drive for me to get there and I was really looking forward to donating to the library and supporting local but with the snippy attitude I received over the phone I rather just buy the books online.

Great store to find wide variety of different kinds of books, comics, DVDs at very reasonable price. Highly recommend going in and checking out this little store. Ran by volunteers, everyone I’ve met are helpful and always welcome you when you arrive.

Love this bookstore located outside the Folsom library but within the same building. All inventory has been donated and all staff are volunteers so 100% of the money goes to the Folsom library. The amazing selection of books changes daily as donations come in. Children’s books are only 50 cents! Too many wonderful things about this bookstore to list. Come in and check it out for yourself!

Very friendly, knowledgeable volunteers that will help you find that book you didnt know you wanted. Very favorable prices on Fiction, Non-Fiction and Childrens books as well as a nice assortment of volunteer-made greeting cards. Inventory is all donated by generous patrons and rotates frequently.

Wonderful used book store in the same building as the Folsom library. All books are donated and proceeds benefit the library. There is a nice section of fiction and so many interesting nonfiction books. Love stopping in often as they are always getting in something new.

All of my out-of-print Delany comes from Friends of the Folsom Library and the lovely, lovely staff. Sometimes, on a hard day, I go in just to hang with Ripley. In my humble opinion, there is not a better bookstore in the city.

Amazing, eclectic variety of high-quality new, classic and vintage books, cds, dvds and more. All at unbelievable prices. All donated and proceeds go straight to the library. Helpful staff too.

Had a car load of books to donate and the Manager of the Bookstore actually helped me unload my car. I ended up with a receipt for a write off and helped the library. Kind of a win-win!
