This place is great. I rented for 2 days and got royal treatment and excellent information both days. I wanted a ‘pedal bike’ and they had them as well as electric bikes. Gave me a map and good advice and lots of smiles. I recommend without hesitation!

The most laid back and chill people ever! I came there a few days ago and I stopped to get my psi checked, they were super nice! Would go there again for sure! The prices were average for a bike shop, but customer service is amazing!

Rented an e-bike for the first time this morning and had a blast! Eduardo was a huge help…super friendly and knowledgeable. Convenient location for hopping on a trail and returning the bikes at the end of our time. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks for a great experience!

The motor takes a second to respond on pedigo bikes on both the throttle and the peddle assist so be cautious, and I recommend wearing a helmet for even the most coordinated among us. The suspension wasnt great on mine and there were no mud flaps so when you hit a puddle going 18mph youre going to get splashed lolThat being said, this bike is so much fun to use. The pedigo bikes have peddle assist as well as a throttle, huge comfy seats, cruiser style handlebars, thick tires, and they go up to 20 mph! The range is decent; I went all around town so like 30 miles and still had about half battery left, but miles may vary.One last thing to mention - I have back pain, a weak core, and weak legs and this is a great activity to get stronger if you dont know where to start and need a low-impact exercise to get the ball rolling. And the seat/handlebar combination allowed me to sit upright which took a huge load off of my lower back.Theyre good bikes but ride responsibly.Michael and David helped me out today and they were great to me.

What a great place to rent e-bikes! I stopped on a whim and the young gentleman working there named Anders was so helpful and knowledgeable on all bikes. Anders was very personable and helped me and my friend feel safe on the e-bikes. He also told us of a great safe trail to ride on. I’ll definitely be back with the family!

Eduardo at the Pedal Shop is the best! I put fenders on my Boomerang a month ago and it squeaked & rattled after that. Took it to Eduardo and he tightened everything up for me and sent me on my quiet bike ride AND at no charge. What guy!!

Edwardo was fantastic!! Rented me electric assist bike explained how it worked, I didn’t use it much I am in good shape for my age, bike had to be dismounted from middle which took some getting use to, wheel base is a little longer but you can quickly adjust to it, I took a lot of the sand trails to Hazel and rode hard part of the time, found the electric assist handy in some 1st gear steep situations, no shocks but the bigger tires and seat springs helped me keep going.Rented a helmet was gone 2 hours, great trail. The Reservoir was fantastic. Edwardo took time to explain history of area and mans were questions about the gold mining operations in the 1880’sI give Pedal Stop a big thumbs up, bike was in great shape tuned perfectly didn’t give me an issue. Operator error was my fault once I got hang of shifter and turning in assist I could go any where I pulled some 30 degree or more hills in lowEnjoy the ride I highly recommend it!! Very reasonable price and I asked for the senior citizen discount also.

Went with a large group of eight people and everyone enjoyed it! Many of us went back a second time the following weekend and are planning to go again! Great trails right near by!

Just picked up my bike at the Practical Cycle service shop in Folsom today and as always, Eduardo and Sam were super! They are friendly and nice to talk to plus they know their business. Very knowledgeable and ready to explain something or answer your questions! I am extremely pleased with my Pedego bike and the experience has been outstanding from the purchase from Tim at the main store to the service at the rental shop with Eduardo and Sam! Fantastic experience renting bikes here. The staff member that assisted Mr was very kind and knowledgeable. It was a first ebikes experience for us and we had a hoot, definitely worth the price. What a great way to spend the day! Im looking forward to returning for more ebike fun.

My boyfriend took me here the other day and it was soo fun! Right by the loop and will definitely be back, perhaps when the air clears up, as this kept our ride shorter than it may have been. Staff was very nice, and Sam took the time to explain operation of the bikes and make sure we’re very comfortable.

I came up to visit family for a week and had such a good time renting from Sam here. It was my first time on an electric bike and he did a great job explaining how to operate and making me feel comfortable. Would definetly recommend, the pedego was a blast.

ED is so knowledgeable. Tuned my E Bike after a bad wreck. Its like a new bike! I know he spent way more time than he charged me for. Turned it around in one day. I thought it would be a couple weeks. Everything from brakes to wheel balance. He spent time on every part of the bike I even found a new Allen bolt on my kickstand. This is the only place Ill go.

The staff member was very friendly and made sure we were set on gear and directions. The business is in a very convenient location in the same structure as the parking garage. The trail access is also just across the street.

Came by on a Saturday to have a service done on my bike. Sam at the front of the shop did a great job of helping me despite it being crowded, and the mechanic Ed always does great work! Highly recommend for service.

I have been going there for a few months just to get out and ride around to relax. It works one of my new fav things to do is go rent a ebike for a few hour and just cruise down next to river. The people who work there are Ed and sam and they are amazing. Theyre super nice and helpful.

I handed over a very worn bike, thinking it could easily be diagnosed as totaled. They diagnosed all problems: broken breaks, wheels out of alignment, damage to handle bars and worn chain/sprockets. I ended up receiving the bike back in one week all fixed up and ready to ride.Thanks so much for the pleasant experience it was much appreciated!!

Friendly and helpful, smooth transaction and my grandson and I had a great time. Were going back today for another rental. The trails are beautiful. But you have to watch for traffic pretty close. This time were going to try an electric bike.

I rented one of the electric bikes for 2 hours, and had a fantastic time cruising around Folsom. Its the perfect City for biking. Safe bike trails and biking Lanes.

Tandem electric is awesome! Been going to practial for over a year now. Tuned my manual bike and is working great after folsom bike overlooked a few issues. Eddie/Eduardo is awesome and the service is finomimal.

Practical Cycle is where we bought our Pedego bikes. We couldn’t be more pleased with our purchase. We rented from them a couple of times and because they were so knowledgeable and courteous we came back!
