We don’t have to go to Sacramento to get Asian ingredients. We can go to Folsom to get one.What an amazing Asian Market. They a large variety of fresh produce and fresh fish. There is hot Chinese food to go and a bakery. Very nice place to shop. I recommend plus you can get rewards and you can get those to buy for cooked food. I loved it.

It was good. A little small but definitely nice to have a Asian super market around.

I love the dim sum bar here. Ive also had the crispy duck. In the grocery area, I purchase alot of asian, prepackaged pickled items (I dont know how to make them at home).Its always a treat shopping here since they have a take away food section and a bakery section.The selection of Asian food/groceries are amazing and priced right.If youve never shopped here before, be brave, explore and broaden your horizon with something new and delicious!

Has all you need to make Asian dishes, including produce and meats. Hot service of prepared foods as well. Even some staples. The place does have a strong fish smell.

Smaller than some of the other 99 Ranch stores that we have been to, but still was able to find almost all of the Asian foods and ingredients we needed.

The 99 Ranch here in Folsom is pretty good. Not too many large Asian markets in the area so nice to have this location near where I live.The store is well stocked and neatly organized. I come here to get many things that I just cant purchase in any other grocery store in the area.

Excellent source for foods, spices, vegetables you just cannot find anywhere else close. Different cuts of meats than any American style market and the fish is incredible.Suggestion is to plan for the 12-15 minutes extra time it will take to order and eat the hot foods in the front. Roasted duck over the counter?? Come on now.Great store !

Well laid out store and we can always find what were looking for. Registers were slow though.

Not sure if Covid caused this but I love that its not busy! The whole store to ourselves. 99 Ranch in San Jose is crazy busy. Will definitely keep coming here.

Best oriental market in Folsom...Auburn...area. Whole deep fried duck....need I say more? They have plenty more hot and cold food to offer. The bakery in itself is a dream come true. If you have never tried asian pastry, youre missing out....mmmmm they have a huge selection of anything asian cuisine and the seasoning and sauce isles are full of must haves. They even give you market money to spend there after most purchases. Win win

99 Ranch is one of those stores that has everything you can’t usually get in other stores. They have been so good at keeping clean sanitized since COVID-19 began. My family and I can never get enough of this market. They always have the best fried fish!

Would have gone crazy without this place. Great fresh fish. Take out Chinese and dim sum. Clean and masked before the outbreak.But it has gone downhill. I do not want to fill my own containers. It will touch other people’s hands.I love Asian but fix this.

I love this store... Everything you need to make your own fresh sushi. Sushi Grade Salmon, Tuna and Scallops. Live fish as well!

Highlighting their take out food area ! Huge servings portions with interesting options! can even order for parties or family gatherings! Not as big as other 99 ranches with more products that I have been to but has the basics you may need.

This market is up to date with stock. The fish and shrimps were very fresh. I liked this particular outlet because it carried Indian promphlet fish. The only negative thing was its cash counters had lots of waiting.

Too little for too much. Pretty people with the usual commonalities.

Worst layout. Walk in path is also the exit.Entire store is designed with isle sizes that are exactly sized for the 75 year old shopping cart that they still use. So narrow. Most employees don’t even speak clear or English. Vouchers coupons line for pick up and ordering food is a mess. I literally avoid coming here and go to winco, Costco, KP international. I only come here if I 100% am required for something rare which is barley 1 time per year.

Lots of interesting things.

This market has Asian products. Some things might be a bit pricey but, if you want authentic instant ramen noodles, udon noodles, steam buns etc. This is the place tl go to.

The staff were extremely helpful and assisted me immensely by helping me to find all the uncommon items on my shopping list. I would definitely shop here again and again.

Went for the live Dungeness and picked up some fresh veggies. Good selection of Asían food. Great selection of fresh fish.

Omg! I was so happy to be able to buy the freshest fruit AND different fruit than our local stores offer. Delicious! And the staff were really trying to communicate what the different types fruits were and how they tasted! I definitely will be going back!

A foreign land experience, but natives are friendly and polite. Loaded with Asian foods, frozen and not, notably the first place I found with authentic Japanese gyoza(!); big supplies of seafoods on ice or swimming, shelves and bins full of everything Asian (must be), quality always excellent, enough Western foods to calm visitors, and a Welcome to Foreign Country aroma heavy. I like it. Checkout girls/ladies are friendly deficient, and can handle English enough (but sadly not enough for much chat in any depth). Prices for standards, e.g., milk, are higher than Walmart. Some snack, exotic and unfamiliar to me, still seem overpriced. But ah, the great gyoza selections! Delicious and a variety.Enough for now.

Really well organized and less lines than the other bay area locations. Same great quality produce that I know I can always count on. There are so many varieties of fruits and vegetables to choose from that are fresh. Other than the usual produce that I can find at any old grocery store, I will also make sure to try some different foods too. Such as lychee, jackfruit and dragonfruit!

1st time visiting this Ranch 99...all that you would expect, but because I am more familiar with another one, I had trouble finding what I wanted. It was there, but I had to search

Great place to get hard to find Chinese groceries.

For one thing, the inside of the store was colder than it was outside at night, mustve been less than 50 degrees in there. on top of this i purchased mochi ice cream at this place and opened it to find that all of the ice cream inside the mochi balls mustve melted and refroze outside of the balls to the point where it was just a tub of ice cream. god knows if the ice creams spoiled knowing that it was in hot enough temperatures to melt all over like this. im not coming back here ever again.

Largest selection of Asian snacks Ive ever encountered. Great prices. The cashier was very courteous and attentive to bagging our groceries. Will be a regular now!

Everyone wore masks and gloves. I was very impressed with how clean the store was as well. With a compromised immune system, it made me feel very comfortable shopping here. Its nice to see people take public health seriously.

Good Chinese Food

Ordinary decor, would usually not rank higher than a 3 star market....BUT, they have most of the hard to find Asian ingredients and groceries that you cant find anywhere else. Add the dim sum, roast duck, and char sui, and it becomes a must visit place...much closer than Koreana Plaza in Rancho Cordova.

Always able to find those specialty food items that I cant seem to find at the other grocery stores. Hot bar lunches are pretty good to with some delicious items for a decent value. Some of the best prices around for veggies, seafood, and meat.

The place to go for Asian ingredients. Meats and veggies are for Asian dishes. Fresh fish, some still swimming. The place to be for your Asian fix.

This branch stinks! As soon as you enter it smelledlike rotten seafood! It’s not like the other branches. Some frozen foods have frost bite! Staff are nice though!

My daughter needed dessert items to bring to her Japanese class. We stopped in and were amazed at the selection! From fresh baked items to packaged, to frozen deserts, she was able to buy a large assortment to share with her classmates. The employees were very nice and the prices were decent.

Rude person at the cooked meat area. Waited for 20 mins to be served n finally when my turn came some one speaking the same language as the employees cut rite infront of me n got served....

This location is too small and often out of fresh veggies. Finding Korean, Vietnamese and Thai ingredients are specially had to find at this location.

Best place to go for Asian groceries and they also have a very nice food court.

Products are not fresh. I got stomach upset every time I bought the fish at this location. Coconut and eggs were also rotten when I checked at home. Decided not to go there anymore.

A fun experience. It is a great Asian Market. Wide selection, good prices, helpful and all the products names are in English, too! Very important for me. I like to know what I am buying 😄 One can even buy lunch here. And I was impressed by the assortment of fresh fish!

I always count on 99 ranch to have fresh produce and products for when I stop by after work. I like to take a look at their weekly deals and just basing my grocery list and meal prep off that. Cleanest one Ive seen. The shopping is easy to do with well stocked shelves and variety is bountiful. Fresh live fish, depending on what you want. Produce is fresh. Hot food bar is amazingly delicious!

Used to be just ok. Now it is horrible. The hot food is flavorless and stale. We ordered 5 different dishes and all tasted very bad and old. We all got sick the next day and are thinking of reporting this place. Horrible bakery and pastries are stale and taste like chemicals and preservatives. This place has gone down in quality and raised prices. We will not be back.

Good collection of asian grocery and great quality of fish

Since we travel around the country in an RV, and that my wife is from the Philippines, we stop at an Asian store around once a month. That being said, this was one of the best Asian grocery stores that we have visited. Large selection of items, decent prices, and clean. Fresh fish, bakery and lots of veggies. It is one of the few sites that we have visited that does not have a strong smell to it.

99 RM has certain items exclusively and others in a greater variety. More importantly items are sold at budget friendly prices.

Decent market but not the best of this chain. As always, the staple produce and ingredients are here but not as much diversity and variety as the other 99 ranch markets. I ranked this store higher as they have a very good fresh food section and bakery department. Considering nothing else of this store type is near by, might as well visit this one.

Great service in the seafood department, great selection of fish. Bought a bunch of dungeoness crab that we had steamed and cleaned at no extra charge. It was delicious!!!! Wish I had taken a picture to post.

I love the selection of hard-to-find Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and other Asian ingredients. The store is always spotless and staff are always pleasant. I HIGHLY recommend this 99 Ranch.

Rude Customer Service. I waited for 10 mins in front of the hot food deli with none to attend and none asked if i have been helped. I finally was able to flag a worker that passed by and she said the deli person is on break and she will be back in 10 mins. I said i have been standing there for 10 mins and she lied and said deli normally closed at 1800 then corrected it to 1830. If it is closed then why the food is still out there and not clean up? And the worker is on break and not going home? She clearly lied. I told her that i will leave a review online about this. She does not care. I for sure would not hire someone like her. Oh well, i have been customer for years and i will not be back. Good luck keeping your store profitable during COVID! Also, please dont give out useless coupons that cant be redeem cause none on the counter to help you.
