The man that helped me find the bolts I needed was amazing! He didnt just do it for me he taught me how to find what I needed and was very patient with me! Thank you for being awesome.

Great place to shop newly remodeled helpful staff chill managers... everyone that works there has integrity...I was there 5 weeks remodeling and I got to work with some very amazing people... they know their store

This store is looking rough inside...tons of kids working but werent very helpful and none of them acknowledged us? Glad to see the youth with jobs though for sure.

I had a handyman at my house installing a storm door. He needed a particularly large-sized drill bit that I offered to go pick up for him. Of course, upon arrival, I found a few different choices and wasnt sure which one to get (I dont know much about tools). I walked around for about 15 minutes looking for an employee to help me. Couldnt find a soul. I asked the young cashier for her opinion but, she knew less about tools than I did. So I eeny-meeny-miney-mod it and of course picked the wrong one. Apparently it was for concrete, not for metal storm doors.

Great place. Excellence service. Just didnt have what i needed in the store. Couldnt wait to ship it from site to store. Needed the tool that day.

Outrageous prices. Pure ridiculous prices for the reality of how inexpensive and cheap some two faced tape plastic pieces can be manufactured. But most generally everything in that store more than averagely outrageously priced.The staff is very helpful and informative. And the store is well kept in order.

My experience with Ace is always great. I am a widow but still need to take care of my home and lawn. Employees at Ace are very knowledgeable about EVERYTHING in their store...what to use, where to use it and most important HOW to use it!!! This 73 year old woman needs all the help she can get. You wont get this at most big box stores!!

So many service people to help. So convenient to have a hardware and post office together.

The CDC even says masks don’t work. They stop the spread by 1.8%, with a 2% margin of error. I’m afraid to enter any Ace Hardwares because I won’t mask up, they could beat me with a baseball bat like an Ace in Seattle. Come on now, we all should know Covid was made in a lab to destroy America!

Helpful staff with a lot of knowelge

Went there because they had a 25% off coupon for today only. Tried to buy garden hose that had a regular price of 3999 and a sticker saying best buy price 3999. They put these best buy stickers all over store even though same price just so you couldnt use coupon. Shame on you.

I want to support small business, but was disappointed when a Clorox wipes turned out to be $6.79 instead of the $3.79 marked on the shelf. Clerk checked skus and when they didnt match said she couldnt do anything. I told her the price should be the same as shelf tag. No apology. No offer for refund. Price gouging? Poor management?

I found the customers doing a great job wearing masks. The staff, not so much. Young woman behind the paint counter and her manager disregarded masks altogether. Reminding everyone that this virus is spreading.

Employees are really helpful and inventory levels are great.

Brought the part I needed into the store. Someone tried to help me, and said that he had no idea and to just try to find the part myself. Completely unhelpful.

This is a great hardware store. The people who work there are knowledgeable and helpful and available unlike at some of the other large home improvement stores. They almost always have what I need from paint to lawn and garden and hardware. Having the post office in the store is a huge plus. It is so much more efficient to use the post office in ACE than to go to the local post office.

Just like their commercial says,Ace is the place! I find Ace most effective when I need something pretty quick and dont have time or the patience to go to one of their big competitors and wait in line with people that bring their pets,their kids or even with folks that are not even sure what they want. The good people at Ace are knowledgeable, courteous and will get in and out of there in a jiffy. Now you may spend just a bit more for the things that you buy, but you have to look at what your time is worth as well. Ace really is the place! As always, Enjoy!

Not easy to get in and out, parking a little limited during their busy times, safe area. The two best things about Ace Hardware are that it is close to my house and they almost always have what Im looking for. Great selection of lawn and gardening equipment and parts. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ive never checked their pricing but I assume its a little higher than the big box stores. Neighborhood convenience is the main story. They also have a satellite post office where you can drop off packages. Ive found this useful, since the nearest post office is not close.

They had a everything I was looking for while we were flooring the walls. Haha. The gentleman that helped me find everything was the most helpful person I have ever encountered in a hardware store! The young team members at the checkout could use some customer service training but they were okay and not rude - so I guess that’s par now. I will go back to Ace for sure! I was side eyeing their chalk paint supplies and pretty impressed.

I contacted ACE to see if they could recommend someone to help with a problem with my gas logs. Chris was very helpful and looked up a number for me with a recommendation. A nice guy.Fast forward 5 hours......The repairman that Chris suggested came to our house, repaired our gas logs and on the way out my wife asked him to look at a light that had been given problems. No problem, repaired in 5 minutes and out the door at a very reasonable charge.

Im not the kind of guy that often goes to the hardware store, but when neccessary I always dread going to the big box stores. It just takes so long to park, walk around the huge store, and find what I need. Ace in Florence is just so much faster for me. They obviously dont have everything but for my needs it works well enough. The folks are surprisingly helpful but not too intrusive which is good. Highly recommended.

Have much in the way of Chainsaw

Normally my go-to place because they have been around for years. But they were unable to honor a mis-labelled item and the manager was not customer friendly. There were no other signs nearby and the sign above ended up being an item on the opposite aisle. Ill travel 10miles to go to another location next time, or visit a different hardware store.

Refused to honor my craftsman lifetime garuntee because the tool style changed. Refused to cut my key because it wasnt one of their own brand. Would not recommend

Went to two other large hardware stores looking for a pair of stems for my bathtub valves and Ace had twice the selection of the other guys, had ones I needed. They always have the odd stuff no one else does! Saved my night!!
