Very friendly music store.I enjoy going to this location because they arent up your a_ _ looking at you like your stealing or seeing what insturment your checking out. Always have plenty of employees to help you with questions with out having to wait for someone.

Ive had both good and bad experiences here. In general, this place definately has the sales floor vibe. Most are not super knowledgeable. Bought a used amp here that blew up. Had a guitar setup here very poorly. Strict about masks. Decent selection of equipment, but never have what Im looking for specifically. Go to Sam Ash

I went in today and had loads of fun and I played a fender american professional 2 precision bass and that bass is my dream bass now and the staff welcomed me with open arms

Very unpleasant staff, Was trying to mandate the wearing of a mask, When that is against my religious beliefs and I do have my constitutional rights to my religious beliefs. When I told this to the manager they said that they were a private company and they did not care about my religious beliefs and told me to leave the store! We the people need to hold other people accountable and not forget that we own this nation the land sweet America has been bought and paid for by our forefathers and we make the rules thats why we have freedom and liberty give me liberty or give me death!

Its a guitar center if variety is what you want look elsewhere they offer lessons but I dont recommend taking them here they have effects pedals but only a few and most are the cheaper trashy ones they have a used section but it rarely has anything worthwhile if you need strings cables etc etc its fine just dont trust their techs with your instruments

Did not have what we needed, even though it said it was in stock at that store on line. Finding service was difficult. We finally had to seek it out and then wait ten minutes before someone got to us. Abd then they said it would be until July 2021 before we could get it. Went home and found a ton of the exact same model at other different retailers on line in the U.S. that could be delivered in ten days.

This guitar center in general is amazing. The staff there is very helpful, friendly, and easy to have a conversation with.I’ve been going there for 2 years and have not had a single problem, besides:-I took my guitar up to the guitar center repair/luthier clerk to have it restrung, when I picked it up it was an amazing restringing job. But my action changed extremely low to the point where my low E string wouldn’t be able to ring out whenever using the 12th fret and above since it was hitting my neck humbucker.-I referred the GuitarCenter Luthier to my cousin to have his tuners replaced and restrung. I didn’t think my cousin would have the same problem of the action being set low because I thought it was a simple mistake. But when he got his guitar back he also realized that he had the same problem of the action being too low.Again that is a very small problem but to be fair there are very few flaws at this GuitarCenter. But just be aware it seem this GuitarCenter Luthier wants to set your action really low.

It is an organized mess. You walk into the store and it looks to be in shambles, but as you walk around and see all of the items in the store, coupled with the super helpful employees, you quickly realize there is an order to everything in the store. If they dont have it they will get it shipped in. We wanted an electronic drum set, they didnt have it in stock, but they had it shipped in by the next day. This is a great store with helpful people.

Very stale selection, new inventory nearly at a grinding halt with very few high end electric guitars, nearly all on the very low end. The staff seems to be very inexperienced and overworked. In general the store looks dumpy and disorganized. The Cincy location is the complete opposite of this store.

Went in to buy an amp for home use, and a new tuner. Amp was on the shelf for $19.99 the store manager tried to sell it to me for $40. Then once we got that sorted out refused my payment. Place is a joke stick to Sam ash and mom and pop stores.

Went in with my little brother to look at dj equipment yesterday and was very happy with the service I received. The lady working checkout was very informational about the products and took her time explaining it to my brother which I appreciate.

I haven’t been to a Guitar Center in years but because of Covid I’ll take any excuse to go to any brick and mortar store. I needed a desktop mic stand that day. They had one and it wasn’t cheap. The room where they kept the mic stands and mic cables looked like a pawn shop. Are they going out of business?

We buy all of musical equipment here. Very reasonable prices they even teach lessons if you need them they have everything from strings to equalizers to anything you need to make music I love this place and I will never go anywhere else

Guitars, drums, keyboards, ukelales, if thats how you spell little cute guitar, a whole room of cymbals that is just fun, and a parts counter. any music lover will get lost in there. i went with 4 guys who can play all kinds of guitars, piano, and even a trumpet player. they were like kids in a candy store. they got friendly helpful andsmart workers there. we were there well over an hour and my friends bought alot of stuff but they got alot of musical instruments. its a pretty nice store.

I really enjoy going to this guitar center. I have been to many of them around the country, and this one happens to be one of the best. From my experiences here, the staff has always been excellent. They are all pretty knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions you may have. I wish I could afford to pay all of my bills and work there because I couldnt think of a better environment to work in. Ive sold one of my guitars to them and got a little more money than what I was expecting, so that was also nice. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for musical gear or instruments!

This is based upon my only experience with this location. I called ahead of time to check that a specific PA speaker was on display and in stock. I wanted to see and hear it before I decided to purchase it. I was assured that model was both on display and there were several in stock. I immediately drove 40 minutes from my home to the store. That specific speaker was not on display and the clerk in the department checked the computer and there was none in stock. I gave an extra star because the clerk in the store was friendly and attentive. Anyone can make a mistake, but the associate who answered the phone wasted an hour and half of my time by being careless and inaccurate. It would be nice if one could check the stock himself on the stores website.

They completely messed up my order and then reorder it, only to cancel it the next day, I had to drive to the store twice, I would recommend Sweetwater, guitar center doesnt care about their customers, I spent $1200 with them only to get the run around for two weeks and in the end, I ended up with no guitar, completely unacceptable

I talked to them on the phone and they said they would take most guitars even if they had some damage and i brought 2 guitars that were still in great condition and they said they wouldnt buy them. they offered 20 dollars for a 200 speaker😂. total douches to me as well. i was polite and they acted like i was a damn criminal. dont go here. these guys suck.

One of the nice gentleman showed my daughter and I several keyboard pianos and checked us out. Great salesman! He matched the online prices, and the manager even gave us the best deal he could find for us. Thanks to the wonderful employees at Guitar Center in Florence, Ky. We are very happy customers. They dont carry a lot of new products

I came in to have a string replaced on an acoustic guitar and the staff was friendly and took care of it for me right away! Very knowledgeable and answered all my questions since it was quite new to me. Made sure it was properly tuned as well and gave me tips on how to tune at home. Will be back for anything we need!

I’ve been to several Guitar Centers across many states, and this one is at the lower tier. The store is poorly organized and lacks basic cleanliness or housekeeping. The staff are inattentive, and their customer service skills fall into the realm of a former East German Bureau of Motor Vehicles. I tried to gain some attention from one of these dunder-heads, but alas, the allure of personal conversation and social networking trumped my pleas. I wonder how this business has remained profitable?

Went into this store this evening to purchase a guitar, amp, etc for my son. He is new to playing and wasnt sure what would be the best choice for him. Meanwhile, several employees were standing around doing absolutely nothing (excluding chit chatting and playing guitars) rather than asking him if he needed assistance. When we selected a guitar on our own 15 minutes later and went to check out, the employees allowed several other customers to get in line in front of us. Almost an hour of our time was wasted. Ive been to this store to buy guitars, drums, etc in the past but NEVER AGAIN.

Depends on who is working. one employee chased me out for not pulling my mask over my nose which causes me to not breath well. They lost a large sale that day

Was helped by Cameron and now i have a great sound set up for my tv with studio quality speakers for much less than set ups i looked at in best buy with less sound quality. It wasnt an easy set up but he helped me figure out everything i needed to get things set up and its the best sound system Ive ever

Friendly service /great atmosphere for musicians

For the second time now I have been to the Florence, ky store and been completely ignored by the staff. Stood at the guitar repair desk for quite some time while two guys played around on their computer ignoring customers. Was no t greeted when entering the store or even acknowledged at all. I’ll find another music store now. This was once a great place to shop but you’ve lost a customer who has spent a great deal in your establishment and shopped there since it opened.

I went there to check out a guitar that I liked from the app. There is a reason why Guitar Center is one of the most popular guitar stores. I stayed in there for an hour, and could probably look in there for longer if I had time. I will return and get a guitar once Ive saved up the money.

Brenton is always helpful and over several visits to this store has been able to answer every question I have come to him with, and then some! Whether its drums, guitars, live audio equipment, or whatever else is in the store he seems to know a little bit about everything. If you go to this store ask for Brenton and tell him I sent you! Even if hes not there some other wonderful human will be able to help you.

Take a good look at the used guitars at this store before you buy. Unfortunately, I found at least 2 that were Chinese knock offs selling for USA and Japan guitar prices.Mentioned it to the staff - 1 was concerned - 1 was confident of no fakes.What concerned me:The concerned employee immediately matched the guitar with pictures of the “legit” guitar online to verify - hopefully they follow up with the manufacturer of the guitar to properly verify authenticity.The confident employee stated that “they always buy “prestige” series guitars from the same man - and that this man has over 50 “prestige” guitars.” Red flag in my opinion - who has 50 $1800 guitars of the same?I didn’t mention anything about the “Chibson” I found.With fakes on the rise, we guitar guys need to look out for each other.

Absolutely incompetent and unprofessional.I ordered a used Martin guitar over the phone, paid with card, got an email confirmation. Five days later the guitar still hasn’t shipped and now order status is “backordered”, I call to find out what’s going on and they tell me it was sold to a walk-in customer the next day.Not even an apology offered. What a joke.

Went to get info regarding small PA system for my rally group. Knowledgeable rep steered me towards higher end equipment than what I felt was needed but I think his focus was more on the pro user.

My sons guitar had a couple of frets raising up from the fretboard. We went to guitar center for help. The guitar repair technician Madison was absolutely amazing! She took the guitar, checked it out and tried to tap them back in. That didnt work so she took the time to reglue the frets and use a vise to make sure they were set in properly. I was thoroughly impressed. She restrung the guitar and all of this took less than an hour. Thanks Madison, you rock!

I waited around the drum department for over 30 minutes waiting for someone to assist me in financing over $1000 worth of gear, i finally got tired of waiting and put everything back and left. While walking through the store, disappointed i passed several associates who never bothered to greet me or ask if i needed assistance.

I was cleaning out a closet in my house and found an old keyboard. I decided to trade it in at guitar center just to see what they would give me for it. It was a great experience, the staff was friendly. I would recommend this place to others.

They have a great selection and a better used selection than Cincinnati, especially on drums. Their website for what they have in stock is pretty accurate. The only reason I didnt give them five stars was because I waited forty-five minutes just to get help to buy a drum set. There is no one in drums I had to go to the front counter and ask the gentleman who was extremely busy, thats why I gave them four stars is because regardless of how busy that gentleman was, he made time for me even though they were busy. There were people walking around that had no interest in helping me that were stocking product and chit-chatting. Basically they have some great workers, and they have some duds. One thing is for sure you probably wont get harassed looking at items.

Great facility with a solid selection of gear. I was in the market for a new guitar and was able to demo several through a few amps. I was there late during a weekday and was able to try out the instruments without any bother. Great staff as well. Nick was the salesman I spoke with and he did everything he could to answer my questions and concerns.

I went in for 15 minutes and had absolutely no one approach me to help me find what I was looking for. While browsing, I noticed how disorganized the whole store was. Boxes of products were stacked behind the counter of one section of the store; meanwhile employees were sitting down on their phones doing nothing. Obviously I made a mistake of thinking this was a place that deserved my business. What a joke.

Went in for for some new drum heads and didnt see them on the shelf.Decided to just ask at the counter on my way out and Kaitlin told me they just got a truck in.She found what I needed and took care of it.

Ian helped me purchase an amp and guitar earlier today. I just opened the box for the amplifier and was surprised to see two inside. I will be returning the unopened amplifier that was mistakenly given to me ASAP. I work until Friday. I will be able to return the amplifier early that day. Im so sorry for any confusion. Ian is an amazing sales representative and guitarist. I hope nothing bad comes from this toward him in any respect. It was a simple mistake. There only appeared to be one associate on duty. He was offering a fair degree of service until the lady at the counter (who wasnt buying anything by the way) slammed him with a barrage of questions about a possible future purchase. Several minutes passed. I sought help in another department but found no other registers open. I replaced my items and left the store, along with the fellow who was in line behind me.

A simple place for strings, picks and other musical equipment. They recently added lesson booths which crowded the store, but all in all still a pleasant visit. Staff are friendly and helpful, but not too pushy.

Florence store has been remodeled which gives shoppers better access to strings, picks, etc. These used to be behind the counter and required salesperson assistance. Like the new look. Its definitely a candy shop experience for musicians😍

Great place with a friendly environment and a selection of pretty much everything. Ive been here to buy instruments 3 times now. Vince has always been the guy helping me. I bought the wrong thing once and he was awesome about returning & exchanging it. He and the whole staff were very helpful and knew their stuff.

Took my Ibanez in for a pick-up and volume pot replacement. Was told around a week turnaround but the repair tech finished it the next day. Kudos to her for a job well done, instrument plays awesome.

Was looking for an acoustic guitar for my sons birthday. I walked in, got immediate service and walked out with a beautiful guitar at a great price !

Ive been looking at picking up a nice used guitar for awhile now and I am beyond excited that I was able to find the perfect one at this store. I live in Louisiana so looking at used guitars in different states can be tricky and sometimes a hassle. I called the store up and was connected with CJ. He was able to assist with getting all my questions answered in a very timely manor. The guitar came in and was exactly as described. If Im ever in Kentucky I will be sure to check this place out in person. Thanks again CJ!
