Needed a new couch and loveseat. Jay (salesman) was not pushy at all, but let us look on our own. Was available quickly when we did have questions. Transaction once we decided was quick. There was a technical issue that caused it to take longer than normal to process the sale, but I was so happy with how things had gone that I didnt mind at all.
Value City kept me updated on date and time my furniture would be delivered. They were on time, very courteous and professional. They wore masks and set up everything quickly and thoroughly. Very highly recommend.!
There was only one issue with the experience. A delivery date was scheduled for 10/1 for majority of the couch and the missing piece was supposed to be delivered on 10/27, however, the missing piece became available earlier and the delivery for the entire couch was changed to 10/6 without my knowledge. I got a call on 10/1 to confirm delivery for 10/6 and that was the only time it was brought to my attention that nothing was being delivered on 10/1 and it was changed to 10/6. I was happy that the entire couch was being delivered all at once so it wasn’t a huge deal, however, I did make arrangements for the delivery on 10/1, so it was a bit of an inconvenience. Improvement on communication is all I have to suggest.
Bought a couch and loveseat from here, day 1 couch looked like this and loveseat was delayed a month and a half, took a month for a tech to come out to take pictures himself then hear nothing back. Called in to see when this is getting repaired and they said it was pet damage. Does this even look like pet damage? It looks like the staples weren’t put in properly. Now I have to go pick up my loveseat that will probably be damaged today, never doing business again with the company.
Very nice people. Treated us with kindness and helpful. We went to 4 furniture stores before this one and no one would take off the old set. We were so happy to pay someone to do it. This is the only store that would. I love the gorgeous furniture we got. Im so pleased I will gladly shop there again. Also I am so happy they help so many of our communities less fortunate.

We tried several recliners until we found the ones we liked. Debbie our sales person was very helpful and let us take our time. We were in and out within 30 minutes with a delivery date in November.
It took awhile to get my furniture, but they were upfront and honest about supply issues so I was ok with waiting. The furniture is beautiful and delivery was professional and quick. They even offered to move it around for me!
This store was very thorough and patient with me as I was indecisive. The sales man was up front with me when I asked questions and was all around great. My two sectionals were just delivered and the two delivery men were also very nice and professional. I will definitely be returning for more furniture!

Purchased two sofas on 7/6/21 and was told they would be delivered on or by 9/7/21. I decided to call to verify the delivery date and customer service said the delivery was now scheduled for the end of November! No one bothered to contact us and let us know. That’s almost 6 months of waiting for sofas that weren’t even custom made. Absolutely ridiculous. So I guess we wouldn’t have found out until our original delivery date had come and gone? Unbelievable. Terrible service. Do not recommend purchasing furniture here as she said majority of their inventory comes from Vietnam and will take around 6 months.

From the buying experience to the delivery, all personnel were very professional. We would definitely buy again from them. It was pouring down rain during delivery and the team worked well together. Were in an old house with a narrow turning staircase and they were able to get the furniture upstairs with little difficulty.

Ken was very helpful with our search for a new dining set. Friendly and accommodating, but not overbearing or pushy. Very informative. The store itself has Covid protocols in place for masks and one way entries. The purchasing process was quick and easy once we made a decision and Ken treated us like family. I would give less than 1 star if I could. We picked out a couch 3 months ago. We confirmed the date would be in July. Two days before delivery date they called to confirm our delivery. The day before our delivery date they called to postpone us until November....4 months. Why in the world would they confirm the delivery and then delay it 1 day later? I suspect they received our couch (hence the delivery confirmation), but at the last minute decided to sell it to someone else.Dont shop here.
My 7yr old son has been asking for a spinning circle chair for months. Since we are finally moving where he will have his own room, we went and picked one out. Jay was the employee who helped us. My son wanted to handle the transaction, and Jay spoke with him and addressed all the questions to my son. Jay was amazing! He used language my son could understand while also making sure he explained it thoroughly. He made my son feel so important and special. I’m extremely satisfied with our experience there.
It is embarrassing how sad this company truly is. Value City Furniture has been to my house four times to fix my bed, that has warranty, and they have yet to fix it. I have been sleeping on my mattress, on the floor, since January. They continuously said that they had to order parts, and when they finally showed up, they wouldn’t put my bed together. We have shopped Value City since I can possibly remember. But their customer service is truly horrible and not worth the waste of your time.
Always a great experience going to Value City. The guy we worked with was straight forward and didnt try to sell us on extra stuff we didnt need. We got exactly what we wanted and didnt have to spend an arm and a leg to get it. Looking forward to buying some other accent pieces. Update: Just went back to buy a new bedroom set, we walked in told them exactly what we wanted and they were able to get us squared away in just a few minutes with no hassle.
I would suggest that the delivery teams be mindful of leaving prints on the furniture. Twice Ive ended up with pretty large marks on a white linen bed frame. I had to send the first one back. Then received the second one.Much to my dismay, the second one had a large, dirty palm print on the footboard. But I didnt catch it until after the delivery team left. They had maneuvered the mattress in such a way that it covered the print. Also, I had mentioned to them when they arrived, I was sending the first one back. This was because of dirty fingerprints left by the dark brown dye on the wooden bed frame that had transferred onto the white linen. So they mustve seen the print they left, because the mattress was not on the frame all the way when they left. So when I pushed it back into place is when I noticed the mark. By that point they were long gone. I tried to get it out, but the photos show that I was unsuccessful.I was so over it at that point because of the pandemic that I didnt want to deal with having to wait another 6 months, or more, to get a new one delivered. Be cautious in checking all furniture for marks/damage before the delivery team leaves, just in case. Dont make the mistake I made!
Overall buying experience at the store was great. Jay was super helpful, allowed us enough time for decisions, and offered advice when needed. I can’t say enough nice things about Jay.However, we bought/ordered our furniture September 19th, with expected delivery date of end of November (8pc bedroom set, 3pc sectional + swivel chair). Furniture continued to get delayed, at least 4 different delivery dates scheduled, bringing every piece on a different day. We asked for them to just wait and bring everything all at once, and that they give us a 20% refund which they did. Ultimate delivery scheduled (finally) for January 14th. They called again stating everything would be in EXCEPT for 2pcs of the bedroom set that would be delivered January 26th (the same 2pcs available online for delivery by January 20th, per their website). Today, January 14th, the contracted delivery company arrives BUT they had been given the incorrect side boards for our bedroom set AND they had sent us 2pcs of a sectional that do NOT fit together.We are FURIOUS, and hope VCF can make things right. If not, they are on the verge of losing lifetime customers.
I was very apprehensive about buying another mattress as the one I bought from another store costing me two grand turned out to be one of the worst decisions Ive made after only 2 years of use. Lori put us with ease found a mattress that she believed is appropriate for us there is a 120-day return guarantee in case I dont like the mattress awesome. hoping for sure that we do and that I dont wake up aching and pain every morning like I have for the last 4 years kudos to value City and Lori for helping us out

First time in this store today. The store was nice and clean. A big selection of furniture. We ended up leaving with a sectional at a very good price. Helpful and friendly staff. Only issue we had was how long it will take for our sectional to come in. About a month and a half. But that is due to COVID.
PLEASE WALK NEXT DOOR TO ASHLEYS FURNITURE. IF YOU BUY FROM VALUE CITY YOU MIGHT REGRET IT!. bought a dining room table with 8 chairs. Table was black and chairs Grey. Paid Xtra for the warranty. Can you say Rip off! I was wiping the table from a condensation stain from a cup and wiped it off with dishwasher water used Dawn and it took off the paint. Warranty that supposedly covered everything didnt cover it. So much for customer satisfaction.I received a call from VALUE CITY apologizing for the response I got from the warranty people. VALUE city ordered me a new table making an even exchange. Therefore I am changing my rating from 2 stars to 4.
Only gave one star because I want to leave a review. I would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered an entertainment center back in February. I have not received it yet and they keep calling and pushing the delivery date back. I drove an hour away to get my cash back because I am tired of waiting. Come in and the women and office manager told me I would have to wait for a check to come in NEXT THURSDAY. I know they keep cash there because I have cancelled orders there before and gotten my cash back. Will not be back here to buy furniture and will not recommend anyone to buy from this store.

Sales and delivery teams were wonderful to work with. Lead time on the furnature was 5 months due to supplier delays.
I was pleased with my salesman but the delivery guys weren’t very helpful and didn’t set my furniture up for the best possible use of space only gave me a foot walkway to the door! It took me 3 hours to move the furniture for better practical space due to being on carpet and being single and short didn’t help! I had called back after they left and explained the situation was told too late for them to come back and move it then sat on hold for 20 min for supervisor! Canceled my tv stand shipment since I no longer have room for it and since I was under the standing they had those in stock but won’t be shipped till the last day in March! Plus I paid a pretty good amount and the wooden piece console thing has paint or something on it!
Delivered a trailer full of furniture to them. Staff was great and worked fast to unload me.

When it comes to delivery set up and all that this place does a great job but let me tell you about the quality. We bought a 3 piece collection for $1500+ The love seat broke in the first 3 months 2 months later I called and had to demand that they replace the furniture. After arguing for a couple hours I finally got new furniture delivered the next month. The love seat broke within 5 days of having it. Today the handle on the couch broke so it doesn’t recline anymore. I don’t have the drive to call about warranty so I’ll just end up taking my business else where . Because like why bother getting it replaced again if it’s just gonna break right off the truck?

Friendly service. Process was fairly fast. There was a bit of a backlog for the warehouse to get the product and that I wanted, but that doesnt have anything to do with the store. The salesman was courteous and not pushy. The delivery team was fantastic both times. Overall, genuinely positive experience.
Took 2 months to get chairs for a dinnett set which the table to came in about 3 weeks so table with no chairs, save your time & money go elsewhere, fyi sims furniture has everything they sell in stock, this place sells items they cant even get or have access to for months

Couch was delivered with no legs. Not the delivery guys fault. So they are scheduled to come back and put the legs on my couch. But other than that everything else is good
The delivery guys were awesome but the store forgot one of my chairs and told me basically tough and I have to have it redelivered and can’t have it delivered unless I am there to sign.

Saw couch I really like there. Went to for other stores furniture stores didnt find anything is good and much much higher prices I think I got a good value for what I paid on the couch. Wish it was a closer delivery time going to take a month
My only issues were that I wasn’t given any notice until they were for minutes away. I was at work when it arrived. Luckily, someone happened to be home at the time to accept the delivery. I never received an email or anything related to a delivery time. Also, I was initially scheduled to receive my furniture the week before and the day came and went and I didn’t hear anything. I had to call and find out that the delivery date had been changed.

More somewhere between 3 and 4.The logistic needs serious improvements as well as communication between all people involved.I do like however the price point of VCF and the quality is pretty good.I had purchased a couch sofa chair chaise set 10 years ago and I still have it. Its in pretty good shape still after all these years.
VCF has nice furniture at fair prices. I purchased my sofa in the store with no hassle and was given my delivery date. Unfortunately, due to COVID, my purchase got pushed a little later, but the customer service team helped me get a new delivery date and set me up in a call list for any cancellations. They also gave me some credit for the inconvenience, which was nice. The manufacturer for my sofa sent out more sofas earlier than expected, and so I got my sofa a couple weeks after my initial delivery date. It arrived at my apartment and the delivery team was very careful with it to not scratch it up or my home. Im very happy to have my comfy sofa and be able to enjoy it!
We had a very nice and knowledgeable sales lady. The only problem we had is we ordered the end on November and we just got it delivered April 6th.

We recently purchased a sofabed to replace one that had lived out its purpose. Value City had a great selection and the salesman was very friendly and stated up front there would be a delay since the sofabed would need to be built and then delivered. We had a couple delays receiving it, but the timing actually worked out better for us. The item arrived and was delivered by two professional movers. They assembled it before they left. Love it!

Delivery of our loveseat took a while but well worth the wait. We were kept informed of the delay and updated often. We were given delivery instructions and were notified when the truck was about 10 minutes away.

I came into Value City (Florence) to look at sleeper sofas. Chris Mitchell was very helpful. He asked me about my budget, where the sofa would go, and how often it would be used. He listened carefully and showed me some possible options. He was very courteous and knowledgeable.
Horrible customer sevice. Ordered on February 16, 2021 for March 5th delivery waited all day and finally called customer service. Was told order was delayed until April 1st. No email or phone calls about delay. On hold 90 minutes! Was told April 1st new delivery date. Got phone call and text confirming delivery date. Waited allday and nothing. Called local number and was told new date is May 5th. Was told they tried to call me...lie. will never do business with liars at Value City. Asked for refund and was hung up on. I called the 800 number and spoke to Melody who was very professional and verified refund was issued.

Couch is comfy and looks about as expected. There is a tear on the back of one chair that the delivery guys did not point out. They also hit my wall pretty good and didnt point it out to me. Im not sure if thats when tear occurred. Either way, they should have told me and apologized. Area will need touch up paint. The sectional doesnt appear to have any hardware to attach the pieces so I will have to constantly readjust... I guess itll be easier to move around since it isnt one large piece. Ive ordered several things from VCF over the years. I practically furnished my first house there. I will probably still recommend VCF, but with some reservations.
They were on time they were nice and helpful to my questions. There were no problems with them putting the sofa in the door and in place in the room.
Over all I am very satisfied from the salesman to the delivers everyone was nice and I had my furniture delivered on time thank you so much I love it!
