Went to a/e door to purchase a garage door for my house the office was nice the people were nice got a price quote in writing from the sales person got a phone number to call about the financing the guy Paul told me he under quoted the price he’d get back to me he never did so I got a garage door installed at precision door they only care about there building contracts not real people needing a garage door I even had a a/e garage door and lift master garage opener you’d think they would want repeat Customers I guess not thanks I just like to say also this is not a push for people to order a precision garage door it’s just the plain truth I’m a real person with a real house that this happened too going to have front entry door replaced also a/e dropped the ball just wanted to add this there finance guy was very rude and never called back I’ll be looking else where for the front door

The bar that pulls the garage door open broke off the door pulling the bracket and struts with it. My husband fixed it and within a day it broke again. We called another company to come out to give us an estimate. The guy said it wasnt fixable and said we needed a whole new door. He quoted us for at least $1,600. We called A&E to see what they could do. The guy lifted the door and said the spring was broke. He fixed it that day! Thank you A&E for not taking advantage of us! We will recommend them to anyone who needs their services. We already passed the info over to our realtor friends and a good friend who does home inspections. They will be sending business their way!

AE Door installed my new garage yesterday and I couldnt be happier with the entire purchase experience. From Paul who helped me choose the right door for my needs, to Aaron who was so flexible in scheduling an installation time that was most convenient for me, and installers Cody and Colin who arrived on time, were very nice and professional and did an outstanding job. AE Door has done my maintenance jobs for many years and Ive never had a bad experience with them. Highly recommend!!

I thought my garage door spring had snapped when my garage door crashed down. Turns out the single bolt that connects the arm bracket to the door had vibrated loose. A E Door & Window Charged me $126 to drive to my home, and then $48 to replace the bolt. When I wanted to pay by debit card, I was informed there would be a 3% convenience fee for that. I would never recommend A E Door & Window to my friends.

Hi everyone:What a shame A@E Door is and their salesman or Manager, Aaron is...I did order a new garage door from them about 2 weeks ago. I did put $315 down on the $715 they are charging me. The first guy that was a technician that came sold me on a whole new garage door.The two installers came today and actually said my garage door runs smooth and really didnt need to get this new garage door installed.So I called A@E garage door today and talk to Aaron and he told me since he ordered the door I had to get it or lose my 315 bucks.. He said since he had to order the door and it may sit in his place for a long time. Where he just told me a few weeks ago he had one in stock but somebody got the one I needed. So sooner or later somebody would have called and needed this garage door itself.At least they could have gave me a discount, instead I told him I would never deal with their company again or send any business to them. I had a garage door opener installed a few years ago and they did a fine job so I thought Id give him a try with this. Now making me get a new garage door even though I dont need one.Just a shame now I had to spend $700 where in reality I shouldnt have had to spend one penny.One bright side the two installers that came today were very nice, upfront and did a fine job installing it.Thanks.

We are loving our new garage door opener unit. They came out and installed it. They were done in a timely manner! Highly recommend them for installation and purchasing their unit. We went with the Cadillac of all garage door openers

AE Door customer service is terrible!!! I purchased replacement windows for my entire house, along with a sliding glass door. This was a $17,000 order. AE Door messed up the size of my big window at the front of my house. I waited 3 months to get the window. And when they installed the other windows in the house, they left 2 bathroom windows in my gargage. They wanted to make the return trip to install the big window a worthwhile job. I asked them to just go ahead and install them, but when I got home that day the windows were sitting in my garage. Not wrapped in a blanket or anything, just propped up against my side garage wall. When the big window finally came in.....3 months later....I asked for money off my order and the General Manager, Aaron, in Florence, KY offered $200. Over the last 3 months I have basically argued over email with him. Total waste of my time. I spent alot of money at his store and have already paid for the 2 windows in my gargage and a portion of the big window which I have never seen. Totally crazy!!! Im stuck!!! AE Door does not care about their customers, once they have your money they could care less.

Called and they came within the hour. Thirty minutes later new spring and two cables and I was all fixed up. They also serviced my garage door and it runs quieter then ever. Highly recommend!Price was very reasonable as well.

Having problems with my garage door and opener. I called AE yesterday and had a technician out today to diagnose. My service technician was Lawrence and came within the window timeframe. He quickly diagnosed a broken spring and lift bracket. Also opener had a broken force adjustment knob. He did repairs quickly and ordered me a new opener to be installed tomorrow. Very pleased with his work and recommend his service. Will update after opener is installed.Addition: Today 2/28 technicians Todd and Weland came out and installed my garage opener and was a flawless process. Both guys were friendly and worked hard till the job was complete. Opener works great and love the smartphone feature to operate the opener. Would recommend AE Door for your needs.

We had a window replaced by AE door and Window 5 years ago. The contract stated they were responsible for replacing the window, trim, sealant, and painting. Five years has passed and the window needs replaced. It was very costly to have the initial install completed. When we reached out to the to have it corrected, they denied any responsibility.

I was having trouble with my garage door opener only working when it felt like it via remote controls. I called for a repair or replace. They lady I spoke with asked if I had LED bulbs around it. She said they send off their own signal. I told her thats what we had in it. She suggested changing the bulbs before we paid for a service call. We changed our bulbs, and it worked! Most companies would have gladly come out and charged us $100 or more. Thank you for helping me trouble shoot the problem without charging! When you treat people right, the word will get around!

Excellent price and service. AE’s technician, Lawrence arrived in a timely manner and was very friendly and professional. Replaced springs and adjusted and lubricated the door.Great service at a great price. Will continue to use AE for all windows and doors in the future.

The only positive, is that they were quick to respond with an estimate. We had a date our frame had to be installed, they put on the estimate that it would be completed the day requested, then called to put it off one more day, when we refused, they did make it on the day we discussed. Now our alarm system does not work. They said they had no way of testing it, but we had staff on duty that could have checked the alarm had they asked. Now they said we need to call our security company. If we would have known ahead of time that we would have additional charges due to them not being able to connect our alarm back the way it was, we would have went with another company.

An honest business! Thanks to Steve in the service department at Florence. I was ready to pay for a service call, but he suspected it was something I could fix myself, and -- through two phone calls -- walked me through the process. He was right, it was a mis-aligned sensor that we had apparently bumped. This is a business you can trust.

The initial job replacing a broken spring was great. The technician was quick and efficient. The next day, when closing the garage door, it got caught up and would not close. Had something to do with a little sensor that hangs down as the door is closing. As long as the door does not go pass at sensor it will close properly, otherwise we are fiddling trying to get it to close all the way with the remote six to seven times.Called today to ask for the technician to come back out as this was not happening prior to him fixing the spring. I was told that it was not part of the job he did. It had something to do with the remote. I repeated this is not happening prior to the technician fixing the spring. The customer service agent made some statement that are doors are old and not up to code because they didnt have the child safety sensor. That is not my concern, I want my door fixed so it will shut all the way! I even asked to speak to a serviceman which she replied I dont have any here!. I was getting nowhere and told her I really didnt appreciate her help. Within 10 minutes she called back and left a message stating that a technician will come out the next day because the tension on the spring maybe causing it but if it was not that I would be charged the $69 fee for him to come out plus whatever more to fix the problem.What a joke!We will not do business with A E door and windows again. Terrible customer service to charge to come look at something that happened after they did work.I received a voice message that they would be sending a technician out the following day even though I did not respond that I was wanting that. Redial the number that called me spoke to a man and told him we would no longer be doing business with a e Door and Window, do not send a technician out.This morning, I got a phone call from the same man I spoke to last night, confirming that I did not want to technician to come out.I replied, what dont you understand that we will not be doing business with a e door and window again?! Terrible customer service and now they are beginning to harass me after I made it clear!

Installation went smoothly, but the garage door opener broke two days later - but they arent available until a week from now. If its not work youre paying them for (ie, under warranty), its not a priority.

AE Door and WIndow replaced my garage door on one of the coldest days in January. Installer was friendly, helpful and competent. Overall, using AE Door and WIndow was a positive experience from sales to installation.

Called the office, they had a tech (Lawrence) who was out the same day. Very professional, fixed the springs, a notice fronts track, and replaced my keypad. VERY REASONABLEY PRICED. Will continue to use A&E door when needed.
