Very clean, well laid out store. Was able to quickly find the ink I need for my Epson printer. Store manager worked the check out counter and was very hospitable.

Certainly a full service and selection retail shop for office, but moreover the knowledgeable staff allows you to make your needs more effective in your business. Thats huge! Went for a gaming chair and a wireless printer. They said the gaming chair assembly was $14 and it would take about 24 hours to do (it was assembled at home instead - in 15 minutes). They were out of the printer I wanted to get.The employee I had spoken to seemed very young and stiff mannered, but knowledgeable enough. He tried to see if we could get the printer online (unfortunately not). He suggested calling Friday to see if they get any more of that particular printer in stock. I like when an employee tries to help find an alternative for a customer aside from upselling to the next model which is always more expensive (dont get me wrong, he did try that too, but he didnt just walk away after he found out I was only interested in the model I went there for).

I stopped by the Florence location to drop off a UPS package, which was a bit awkward to carry. As I entered, Jake, an employee, welcomed me and then offered to carry the box for me to the shipping department. Chivalry never goes unnoticed by me. I appreciate this kind of customer service and his kindness. Thank you!

This is a nice store. Its big, has a massive inventory, and the store is pretty well organized. The place is located on Mall Road. Mall Road can be a hassle at times. So, maybe this will help..Staples is on the opposite side of the road from the Florence Mall. There is also a Krogers situated in the same plaza area as Staples. I wouldnt say the employees have been rude to me. I will say if you have questions or need help you will have to go to them.

Prices could be better. They used to be very helpful with customer service and printing. The main manager Justin though is selfish and like to work around helping customers print. They use any excuse to tell customers to do it themself now. This used to be a wonderful go to. Not worth it anymore. Better to use fedex and ups stores.

I recently had a snafu in the Copy and Print Center but after an e-mail to manager Torrey, the problem was quickly resolved. I received a response to my e-mail in less than an hour with an apology and an offer to make it right. Torrey referred me to Ariel in the Copy and Print Center, who was also friendly, helpful and efficient. I am very happy with the final product and I appreciate both Torrey and Ariel going above and beyond to make sure that I was happy and that the issue was resolved.

I was ready to buy something but needed to get a couple of questions answered. The store was empty, yet the cashier said there was no one available to help. That explains why the store was empty. I won’t go back.

I have done all my business copies, purchased my paper, etc for years at the Florence Kentucky Staples on Mall Rd. Today, the manager and employee explained that Corporate now incorporated an express fee if i need copies at the time of arrival: That I would have to wait till tomorrow if I did not want to pay the express fee. That is ridiculous in my opinion! To add, the manager made it abundantly clear that the old managers were fired after I explained that the past managers were more professional. Simply put, they have lost my business both for devaluing their past staff and two, that I am no longer permitted to get copies at the time that I need them.

As many other have noted, this is a store that is very well supplied with items needed for office use. It is not supplied with any person that gives an care or concern to questions you may have, concerns that you may offer or anything else that will keep them from standing around and talking or hiding from their on duty manager. My purchase was not major though exceeded $100 and I learned after I got home that it was the wrong product. Not what I had at all requested, and that is on me and my desire to get out of that store as quickly as possible with my purchase. This review is hopefully for the store manager(s) as much as the consumer in that both parties should know what actually shopping in store will entail. My time of entry was neither after first opening nor near final closing. In the interest of not being upset any further rather than endure the anticipated frustration of having to make a return which would have resulted in a product upgrade and up-sell I am going to likely donate the item to a local non profit for their office and purchase what I need from a competitor. While we are certainly in a time dominated by e-commerce we are certainly still customers seeking products, value and after sale care when applicable.

I went to this Staples for their document shredding service, the cashier pointed me in thr right direction and the customer service desk person helped me right at knowing exactly what to do. 2 floor reps also asked me If I needed any help - service was great.

Just spent 30 mins gathering supplies for work only to be told credit card machines down. Can you at least warn people as they enter the store so they don’t waste time. Have to be at work in 10 mins and no time to start over. Big fail!

This Staples location is close to the I-75 North and South ramp. Parking is usually fairly easy and if you need help finding something you can usually find an employee that will assist you

Inside the store could use a facelift. You can tell the store had been around a while. They also didnt have the ink was after. I had to get the xl version because it was the only one in stock. Outside of that the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Prices were the same as everywhere else.

Some older guy at the computer area gave me an hour run-around to price match to Office Max, because the closest one was 15 miles away and was not a direct competitor. He was rude every step of the way, but to his credit, did call Office Max to verify the deal and made sure there were none in the area that I could actually purchase to qualify as a direct competitor (inconsistency aside, my point is he looked like he would honor the deal). Still, he was a pain to deal with and left me feeling like a jerk for trying to buy something by following his corporate policy. I went to Jo-Ann fabrics a few doors down and was treated like an actual paying customer minutes later, furthering the stark comparison. I know its just one employee, but he was bad enough that Im probably not going to go to staples much anymore.

This was a very poorly run Staples, I have worked for the company before and left on great terms with the store in Kenwood. The customer attention in this store was practically nonexistent, I saw three employees the entire time I was here (close to an hour) one MOD, a sales assistant and a copy and print employee. I was in today to purchase a printer and I was in the isle for close to 30 minutes looking at different brands/models doing a little comparing and not one of these employees approached me to ask if I needed assistance. At one point during my visit I helped two different ladies with finding the correct ink, the first you lost a sale on because you did not have hp 564 black non-XL instock in the store and no one to help online order, the second I had to send to the tech counter to get the MOD to lookup her rewards to identify the correct ink for her printer. Also when I was in I used the restroom and it looked as if it hadnt been cleaned in weeks. This location needs to either hire more employees or needs new management.

I have ordered online 3 different times and they never have my order ready on time. When I go to pick up, they just say sorry they were busy or they didnt have all of the necessary products to complete the order. Very Disappointed.

Stopped by the copy center and was assisted by a dark hair male associate. I needed shredding and copy work done. After paying for the shredding my bag of confidential documents was placed by the trash can.We went on to discuss the copy project. I needed two binders as presented. The employee did not seem to care or know what to do. They were unable to make binder tabs due to that printer had not worked for over a year per a 2nd associate. I then said to just do the copies and I can print the tabs needed on my computer at home. I was finally given a cost of $300 for color copies ( no tabs,no binders, no insertions). I commented the price was high and the associates response was yep. I said o would pass due to the store down the road would do the entire bonder for $75 each.Stopped by a hour later and my bag of confidential documents I paid $17 to be shredded were now sitting in the trash can. When I inquired why they were not protected before shredding and the lady said oh I thought it was trash. I asked for a manager and was told none were available.AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST!

Very sad to listen to a story of two male workers at this store publicly mistreating a 78 year old woman (my mother) who simply needed some direction or help with a copy machine, something she has no experience with. From the reviews posted here though it seems to be the trend or business as usual at this location. Horrible representation for the Staples brand.

I went to the florence ky store a couple of days ago at the printing center a girl nemef savanah helped me she was nice and courtious she got my order done right away the only problem she put my area code twice a misprint no big deal just make it right didnt notice for aday or so she did a good job i just didnt notice the misrake i eva tipped her five dollars for getting it done so fast ok went back to get it fixed same girl said ill have to charge you again i said let me ask a manager she pointed to little short girl who said id need to pay agian because i approved the i really didnt notice the mistake till laterit was only an 18 dollar order dont know if the little short one was having a bad day or what but she should have made it right i notice a lot of bad reviews so this review wont matter either but hope it helps send you to office depot fed ex kinkos or a number of other places we can go spend our money.
