I always find good stuff here. They have books, movies, games, and more all for great prices. The staff is very kind and helpful. The facility is always clean. It’s easy to look online at their website to see if they have something in stock. Also, it’s a great place to get some cash for books, movies, and games that aren’t wanted anymore.

One of my favorite places to get used books, quite a large selection with a little bit of everything. They have a good kids section with a lot of series and chapter books. Can get large format books fairly cheap. They also have a game board section, some used video games (ps4, Xbox, some older gen stuff) - though I feel the section here is pretty limited but occasionally find a gem, comic books, and even some vinyl records. I mostly just buy books though, so I cant speak much on the other sections. They also do have a limited section of new releases, notebooks, bookmarks, etc. You can also trade or sell your books here as well.

Everything is highly organized like a library. Whatever youre looking for will be easy to find out find out if its not there. There military non fiction is small n thats all I really go in for. But they have all kinds of books, comics, board games, video games, and stationary gifts.

Super friendly staff greet you as youre coming through the door and always eager to help you. This is a really well organized store with something for everyone. It would get five stars if it had clearance books that someone might actually want. 🙄

This is a good store to visit to find literature that will suit most needs. They also carry a good selection of childrens books, and random odd and ends like older video games, music CDs, comics, records, and collectibles. All is decently priced.

WORST BOOKSTORE EVER!!! In fact I would never go back to any of their stores ever again because they will rip you off when youre selling DVDS just to sell them for a higher price and they should go out of business forever!

Great experience. Store was super clean, everyone in masks, and great collection. Very short wait for book trade-in too. Store also went above and beyond when a customer was bullying others about masks. Safe, wonderful environment.

I viewed before going to verify they had the book in stock I wanted. When I arrived I was unsure where the book was, the clerk there knew exactly where it was and took me there herself. The staff was very friendly and the store very clean.

I love this store! I got the last three Harry Potter books for basically what two of the cost at most bookstores and the condition is perfect. Their selection is amazing and the staff is so helpful I always have a truly enjoyable experience!!

Great big store lots of books comics puzzles music all kinds of stuff.

I spent about an hour just walking around checking out all the books. They have great deals and they have special editions and signed books too. I bought a couple of books and some nice cards for under $10.

Very disappointed. Took 18 very popular paperbacks in great condition and 1 hardcover book in excellent condition and was told in a very happy and cheerful voice that I could receive $1.03 for all the books. No thank you, I would rather donate to my favorite charity. Thanks for wasting my time and yours.

Overall they are generally “okay” on their prices. But yesterday I walked found a movie for $30 almost bought it and then realized it was $10 on eBay with free shipping. . Please check eBay before purchasing any kind of vinyl, video games or moviesOtherwise they are okay. I don’t mind shopping here

Pleasantly surprised to see a sign on the door showing & asking customers the CORRECT WAY TO WEAR A MASK Then while shopping actually witnessed an associate kindly ask an incoming customer to pull his mask up over his nose. I always enjoy going to Half Price Books, and this one is no different. They have a pretty good selection of history and religion which is what I primarily shop for. This location does not have as many antique/old used books as some others Ive been too, so if youre shopping for that there are probably better places. Its very clean and organized, and everything is clearly marked.

Love bookstores but hate paying full price for books? Then half price books is the store for you. I personally wish they had a slightly larger fantasy section, but I dont think I could ever find a large enough fantasy section to satisfy me 🤣 The kids section is fantastic and well stocked. I love to browse the gardening and cooking sections as well. Everything is well marked so its easy to find the section youre looking for. They are also doing a fantastic job during the pandemic to keep customers safe from frequently cleaning the counters at check out to enforcing masks to having signs asking for one person in the bathroom at a time. Its nice to know that they take customer and employee safety seriously (unlike some businesses). The employees have always been extremely polite and helpful, and the one time I brought my young child with me to pick out Christmas presents for her sibling and dad, they were really helpful and engaging with her. Ive noticed several of the employees seem to really love kids and be great at talking with them at their level which is always a nice change.

I love Half-price books. I know that when I trade in my books, someone somewhere will have the chance to benefit from them, and the fact I get some pocket change back is nice. Great place to check out 1st editions and to get great deals on books of any kind.

Found my favorite author Kate Carlisle! Though they had her books in both Mystery and Romance. The price for all the books were amazing and didnt break the bank.

I really like the concept of a store like Half Price Books. Yes, in a world where Amazon exists, there are other options. However, the staff at Half Price Books do a great job carefully organizing and curating a good selection books with some hidden gems. They even have a nice selection of vintage games, DVDs, Blu-rays, magazines, etc. Something important for me is to actually see what Im buying before I buy it. The books here are typically in great shape and the prices usually arent far off of what youd pay for having it sent by Amazon. I definitely recommend a trip here!

They may be my competition, & you may not find the book that you went in looking for, but youre still likely to find a good read. Todays haul was four titles, and three of them have been out of print for quite some time.

I went into 1/2 Price Books looking for 1 book left with 5 books at yard sale prices. I LOVED IT

Always find a few deals, quantity and quality of pre owned movies and cds very good condition My only complaint is the way they position CDs and DVDs on clearance area. They stack side by side in a lower area which requires tilting of head to read what product is. A much easier way for the customer to select would be to stack each item flat on top of each other thereby allowing the customer to view the items straight on. Done this way doesnt take any more space. They stack their vinyl records front facing out which is very easy to flip thru not side by side like the clearance CDs which are very hard to view. Come on guys its not rocket science, a small change in stacking method could easily result in many more sales. Most people will not view the clearance items which are many due to the difficulty in viewing them.

I go there to look for beautiful, and wonderfully priced greeting cards. Love their selection!

Huge selection for awesome prices! I went to get my sister a present and walked out with something for my parents as well. And it was suuuuper cheap compared to going to a Barnes and Noble. Theyve also taken great steps to keep customers safe in the wake of covid-19.

Great chain of used bookstores. They provide great customer service and are willing to assist customers in locating what they need whether it be in store or at any other of their numerous locations. If the item is at another store in the region they dont charge any shipping fees for it to be brought to your local store. Prices are usually very good. I usually check out their clearance DVDs and have found some good titles amidst the common blockbusters.

This place was decent at one point. But quality of staff and maintenance has went downhill in recent years. Icing on the cake is the removal of all chairs in the store, ensuring it difficult for my disabled mother who must use a cane to shop here. Of course, they’ll claim “COVID”, but we all know that is total bs. It’s just a big middle finger to disabled patrons. Thanks, Half Price Books! For your gross lack of consideration.

Okay place to look around if you need books. If youre selling a lot of books they dont offer much for them. I brought in 5 boxes of books and they only offered $5 for them. Wound up selling them in a yard sale making$40-50 instead.

Great place to buys books at a discounted price. Thinking about going mushroom hunting and dropped by to see if they had any books. Luckily, I found a book for a reasonable price.

This is one of my favorite stores. They offer great deals on books, movies, records, Pop figurines, video games, journals, puzzles, cards & more. The customer service is great, and the store is always kept orderly & clean. I love to go here and find really unique novelty items and gifts for myself, my family and friends. Highly recommend!Im not the biggest fan of selling my books & items there, though, because you dont typically get much, even if you sell really recent titles or sell a lot of items. I think selling at HPB is overhyped in general because Ive never gotten much for my items in the past, and Ive heard the same thing from other people I know who have sold items there. You would probably get more for your items by selling them at a yard sale. However, I wont count that against this store in particular because I think thats a negative thing with HPB in general.

My daughter took me to this store to get me out of the house for a while and I never had been to Half Price Books until that day. I highly recommend that you check out this story! The organization of the Books is awesome. The prices are legitimately low and not exaggerated. An the store Carys a good portion of various products that you might not find in a regular book store.

I give it a 5 for a used book store. They have a really nice assortment of new and used books (if some of the stuff isnt new, Im shocked). They have a lot more than just books... nice notecards, games, novelties.

Never again will I step foot in this store. I have trouble breathing through my nose do to it being broken on three seperate occasions. I had a mask on just not ober my nose. The sales person was very rude and hateful and wouldnt even let me explain why after she started yelling i had to cover my nose. Its a shame I really loved this store too.

I always love it here! I get all my comics, spiritual books, and even some movies here! always very clean and has that nostalgic book smell.
