I was able to make an appointment to get some maintenance done on my vehicle. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told that there was not a mechanic there on the day I was there. I asked if that meant nothing could be done, they did nothing to help. I was able to make an appointment even though they knew no one would be there to help me. Then nothing was done to make up for the mistake.

Purchase tires through amazon.com and it had the store listed as the service installer. Received many notifications that my appointment was confirmed including the day off but when calling to confirm my appointment at the store said they were too short staffed and we’re not taking any Amazon installations. Don’t waste your time with his place they don’t have enough time for you.

I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation first appt. of the day at 8 am. I wanted to wait while service was being performed. I was told that it would take hours because they only had one mechanic. I left. There are plenty of places to get an oil change.

Shop somewhere else.. no employees to service tires. I ordered 4 new tires and the manager calls me 2 days before my trip to tell me they don’t have a tech to install my tires. She rescheduled me for the week after and when I show up there is no tech on shift when I arrive at 8 in the morning. I’m in the waiting room currently hoping a tech will show up and i can get the tires I paid for installed on my truck so I can get on with my day . Last time I’ll buy from pep boys .

I took my car here to get an electronic scan of the system. They informed us 24 hours after we dropped the car off and had to call them ourselves that they dont do repairs for vehicles. All they can do is basic car stuff. You all should let people know before the show up for an appointment that you cant handle it. What a waste of time. Also we shouldnt have had to call you the next day. You all should have called us within the same day to tell us this. Our car could have been diagnosed and fixed by now. Dont waste your time at this place

Went in Mon., Jan. 4th (after calling about reservations/service). I need four new tires, new rear brakes, alignment, and a minor p0446 code fixed. The man that greeted me was nice enough but didnt say much. He checked the tire tread and mileage, we went in, he entered my info and service request and said he would call when he knew something. 24 hours later I called to check in. The woman who answered claimed to not know about my car, and said it wouldnt be til Friday before their mechanic returned and looked at it, thats four days after I dropped it off. They hadnt done anything with my car but check the code, which I had brought in myself anyway. So I got a ride back to pick up the car and sure enough it was in the same customer parking spot I had left it in. Im just baffled by their indifference and incompetence, and by the fact that no one thought to notify me it would be four days before anyone began the very basic services, as if I dont have to work or have a life. WTH?

Made two appointments on different days, both discovered upon arrival they did not have the tires. Spent a total of 4.5 hours on the phone with cs only to be forwarded to a managers voicemail where I was told my message had been deleted. This place is really bad, will never shop here again.I have sent you an email as requested, I will update this review when and if I receive a response.Here is a time line of my story.11.30.20 1:19 PM ordered Tires for my Dodge Grand Caravan, Made the appointment for the following day at noon11.30.20 1:30 PM ordered Tires for my Jeep Grand Cherokee, Made the appointment for the following sunday and noon12.1.20 11:35 AM Arrived to get my Tires put on my caravan before appointment, Rhonda? tells me she tried to call me since 11am but both of the phones she has at the counter will not work, then says she was going to use her cell phone, but got busy. She then calls my phone from her desk and it rings without issue. I ask her if there is another model that I can get put on because I need tires now. She tells me, No. I then ask when the tires will be in? She tells me she has no idea. She says she will need to make me an appointment far in the future and then call me some day to schedule an actual appointment when they arrive. I tell her to just cancel the order, politely, and I leave. I am now not able to take advantage of any cyber monday sales and my van will continue without the tires I need. I am also very upset as it was very difficult to get my family together moving my car seats into my jeep.12.1.20 11:54 AM I recieve an email telling me my appointment was canceled because We have cancelled your order for the Pep Boys location below due to your timeframe being past due or a request you have made for cancellation. If you feel you have received this email in error, please contact the Pep Boys location where you were scheduled for assistance.12.2.20 I call pepboys customer service, the hold time is 1.5 hours. I use the call back feature. I miss the callback and do not have time to call again.12.6.20 I pull into the parking lot and receive a call from the store 7 mins before my appointment, she tells me that these tires are not in. I explained to her this just happened to me on monday with another vehicle. I ask why she waited this long to tell me that she did not have these tires either. She says she was looking for the tires.12.6.20 I call pepboys customer service and wait on hold for an hour, I explain my situation, the rep says he is escalating the issue to hold on. The call gets disconnected. I call back and wait on hold for another hour and a half. I tell this rep I just called and give him my info. He says he is looking at the notes. Ho comes back on the line and will need to call the store. Without any more information from the rep I am forwarded to an answering machine. I start to record my message even though this is not what I thought was going to happen. In the middle of me explaining my story a message cuts me off and says message erased.12.8.20 I leave feedback to your email request and on google maps.I put tires on my caravan at another store but still dont have tires on my jeep. I lost a lot of time and the tires cost me $150 more than they should have. I dont know how a business can stay open doing things like this.I am not sure where to go from here, but thanks for reading this.

Took our car in twice to get inspected for alignment issues. First time, the alignment messed up within a day so took it back and told them about this. Asked to inspect for other issues because of the alignment going back out. They worked on it again and assured us everything was fine and that the “steering wheel wasn’t centered when it was aligned”. Now a day later, the alignment is out of whack AGAIN and pulling. Didn’t do their job and wanted to get us out the shop quickly.

I came to this Pep Boys after a bad experience with another location. Chris, the manager, was incredibly polite & professional. Both he & my mechanic took the time to give me a laundry list of what was going on with my car, including an important safety recall. Unfortunately, they were short staffed because one of the mechanics was in a car accident. But they just dropped me off at the mall while my car was worked on & picked me up when it was ready. I was approved for the Pep Boys credit card right on my phone & checked out with ease. I have a tough time finding a mechanic who doesnt talk down to women, but these guys were great. I will definitely be back!

I’m fed up with Pep Boys altogether. Too many times I’ve scheduled appointments ahead of time only to have them canceled that same day. Last week I had an 8:00 appointment in Florence and I showed up a few minutes early only to be told that I would have to reschedule for another day because they didn’t have enough staff on site and he had four other cars that he needed to work on. But I was the first appointment! I had to call all of the other locations to see who could squeeze me in last minute. Then today I came in for an appointment in Eastgate that I scheduled over the phone with them for Saturday at 10:00 and they told me that it was in the system for Friday and that I would need to reschedule. I told them no because I spoke to them on Thursday to schedule this for Saturday. They entered it into the system incorrectly. I work on Fridays, so why would I schedule it for a Friday? Then he said that I will have to leave my car here and that he will get to it when he can. Leave it and go where? It’s not like I have someone to pick me up and drive me around. I’m tired of this. This is ridiculous. The only reason I’ve been coming back is because I prepaid for services when I bought my car. And because of all of the cancellations and scheduling issues they have, I would say it isn’t worth it. I had better service going to Midas.

My experience with Pep Boys was wonderful. I called to get pricing for new tires. To my surprise Tim was very informative and helpful, answering every question I had with patience and detail. At the store the same great service continued. Tim welcomed me and showed me the tires that I would be purchasing. He explained in detail what I should be looking for when purchasing new tires, something no one has ever done. I felt very confident after that to purchase all 4 tires with them. They gave me a time frame and finished the job 15 minutes early. Supervisor Chris completed the service check at the end of my visit and was also very courteous and professional. I feel very confident with my new purchase and will not hesitate to have our other vehicles serviced there when needed. Thank you for bringing back the lost art of good customer service Tim and Chris. That is something very important to me as a consumer!

This is the most professional and courteous customer service related establishment Ive ever gone to. The service was phenomenal. The staff...unbelievably over the top with professionalism. First let’s start with the service at the desk. When I set up my appointment at this location in PERSON I asked about matching online prices and was told yes that’s not a problem. Arrived to the store today for my scheduled appointment and since I was now dealing with a different person at the desk I simply asked the same question just to make sure and was told no that I was misinformed and if I wanted the online prices I needed to go home and play with my computer. Then he proceeded to say that’s why it’s online. Just straight up rude. Either way I couldn’t cancel because of the condition of my wife’s tires. So we drop the car off anyways. So now we’re at pickup. This guy had an attitude with every question I asked him. Then proceeded to quote me $150 dollars over the original quote I was just quoted 2 1/2hrs earlier. When I told him that didn’t sound right his response was “we’ll see”. Finally got the price right and got the keys just to get a message from my wife with the attached pictures. Needless to say she would not let me come back up! I understand these guys work with oil and grease all day, but you could at least wipe the car back down. And last but not least in the 2nd picture clearly her door lock has been pushed so far in it won’t pop back up. We will NEVER use this store again or recommend you do your business there!

I took my car in recently to pep boys and worked with Carl and Chris. Had a great experience. The cost is always reasonable and I always feel like they are being honest with me. I started going to Pep Boys on Mall road after my wife had taken her Saturn to another repair shop by herself less than a mile away. They quoted her 2,000 + in repairs and told her that the car was not safe to drive. I asked her to drive down to Pep Boys for a second opinion. They only found about 200 dollars worth of work and the car ran great until we sold it. It is easy to feel like you are always being taken for a ride when you get your car repaired. And I hate paying for car repairs. However when you know it is a legitimate repair its not quite as bad. If you have never given them a try it might save you some money.-Phillip

I give them one star only because they did fix our tires. After an 8-hour wait! Yeah, you read that correctly! We had two flat tires and really needed to get back home that day, so we had to pretend humiliation and patience to such a rude staff and an extremely lazy crew of mechanics. The only two mechanics/ workers in the entire shop mounted one out of 4 tires.in about 2 hours. They took frequent smoke breaks, checked their phone, screwed a bolt or two, then drank some pop, then remmbered they had something to chat about. Perfect job for anyone, right?During our 8-hour stay in the shop, neither a staff member nor manager said a comforting word or even LOOKED at us!I have never, ever been in a more humiliating, degrading, disgusting pigsty where their third-world bathrooms are equipped with peed toilet paper spread on the entire floor.No apologies accepted!!! Local television should pay them a visit. Maybe, then, someone will put this place out of business.

I had a great experience, I read the reviews before dropping off my Range Rover Sport, & of course I was a little concerned with what I read but the staff put all my concerns to rest. I was a walk in, in a very distressed situation & Micheal, communicated everything with me with great patience. The technicians did a great job & I left feeling confident that my vehicle would make it back to Carolina, & it did so a very pleased customer here! He yells at me and says If I say him in person I wouldn’t have that tone of voice . How is some one that works for the public threatening a customer. I had flat tire on my way to my parents house and had my dog in the car with me while it was 95 degrees outside. Decided to stop at Pep Boys in Florence and received the best customer service in my entire life. Not only did the fix my flat in less than 30 minutes but they allowed me to bring in my dog to avoid the heat. Thanks to team that helped me with my tire!

Visited this store today. Had an appointment for an oil change and battery replacement. Less than 1 hour before my appointment time someone called me to verify the battery I requested had been delivered, which was great news, and I told the gentleman that I had added an oil change to the appointment and asked how busy they were and if getting an oil change and battery replacement was something that could be done relatively quickly since I was waiting. He assured me it would not be a problem. When I got there I was immediately told the oil change would take at least an hour in addition to the 45 minutes allotted time for the battery change. I cancelled the oil change as I could not wait for 2 hours on this visit. The battery change seemed to go great and I was happy with the price I paid for the battery (least expensive option I found anywhere). However, I will not be going back and will be getting my oil changes, tires and other vehicle products and services with another company. I really do not understand what is so difficult about providing an oil change in less than one hour, not to mention these services could have probably been worked on simultaneously (e.g. change battery while oil was draining). Disappointed and lost customer.

Chris, Jeff, and the rest of the crew at Pep Boys in Florence are great! I chose to start going there about 2 years ago based on battery prices after calling around several places. To this day that is where I go. I know that I can count on them to get my car back in shape to drive safely on the road. Ive never left there disappointed. My dad always took care of my car for me so when he passed and I woke up to a dead battery that one winter morning, I was lost! Im happy to say that Ive found Pep Boys and that I now have honest, smart guys that I can count on for all my car needs! Thank you Pep Boys Florence!

Very poor customer service. No one in the place seemed to want to be there or help out. If I were management, I would fire everyone and start with a new crew. Save for one employee, Branden, everyone else was worthless. All I needed was a battery, as I was stranded. Service desk was to busy to acknowledge my existence, then told me it would be a couple hours just to have it tested. So tried to buy it and do it myself, but they didnt know what to replace it with... Left me to take it out myself with a set of loaner tools that were barely useable. Terrible experience. Will never return. Branden stepped up to help out and I very much appreciated everything he did, however there is no other reason to visit this store. Go somewhere else.

I woke up this past weekend, loaded my car and prepared for an 8 hour drive. To my dismay, my check engine light had come on while the car was warming up and I knew it had to be addressed. I made it to the shop and Chris could tell by the look on my face I was concerned. I explained to him I was supposed to be headed to south Carolina as we spoke and I was on vacation. From the very start he made sure to let me know that they were extremely busy but he would do his best to help me out and get me back on the road. He immediately went out to my car and let me know it was a cylinder 2 misfire but couldnt tell me why it was until they got it inside. Again he let me know he couldnt say how long it would be, but I had no choice but to wait it out. In less than 2 hours from the time I got there, my car was fixed and I was back on the road. I cant thank those guys enough. They understood the situation I was in and went above and beyond to get me taken care of. Seriously, thank you all for everything.

Im new to the area and have been looking for a reputable shop to bring my car to for maintenance and Pep Boys is definitely it! Fair prices, honest work, and great customer service! Since the first time I went there I could tell they were very customer-oriented and wanted to get me the lowest prices possible for the work that needed to be done! On my first visit I went there to get a second estimate, and the Pep Boys price was less than 1/4 of the price of my first estimate! Chris brought me out to the garage and explained to me what needed to be replaced, and gave me a print out sheet with the prices of the parts and labor so I knew exactly where my money was going! I was very impressed by the customer service at this store. Every single employee I saw was very friendly, and came up and talked to me. Last time I was there I even saw Chris give a customer a ride home so she didnt have to wait at the shop for her car to get done. They take great pride in their work, and their prices are honest. I wont bring my car any where but Pep Boys for repairs or regular maintenance!

Stopped in at 3:40 to try and get a flat fixed that was on my vehicle. Had the spare and not a jack. I also had my trailer because I was in the middle of moving when I got the flat. Asked the lady at the counter if they could fix it. She told me I would have to drop it off as they were really busy. I said thats fine but its still on my truck and had no way to get it off. Asked if one of her guys could do it real quick and I would wait and she said no. I said can I use a jack and do it myself, she said no very rude this time. I said thanks for your help and left. As I walked back to my truck the guys in the garage were working on 2 cars one of which appeared to be theirs since they were in and out of it like they owed it. And were screwing around the whole time. So I carefully drive to a gas station and filled the tire up to just get me home and will never be back. The lady at the desk attitude was enough alone. I get it was a Sunday and they closed at 6 but I was stuck in a bad spot and the attitude by the front desk women was crazy.

Went in with no appointment for brakes and tires to be inspected. An hour after dropping my car off, Chris the service manager called to go over the details of their inspection. Everything was explained clearly and I trusted the advice I was given. I went ahead with new tires and brakes and was so glad I did. After picking my car up that afternoon it drives so much better so I should now be ready for the winter weather. I would definitely recommend the Pep Boys Florence location to everyone.

My husband and I had a tire blow out on I-71 between Louisville and Cinncinati on a Sunday night while on a month long road trip. We made it on the spare to Florence, Kentucky and were SAVED by Chris and his crew first thing on Monday morning! Despite having other appointments, Chris got us back on our way quickly by rolling up his sleeves and helping two others change our 4 tires. Thanks to his tremendous efforts we were back on the road to Cleveland in time for the family reunion. We were so pleased with this service we offered to tip him, but he refused with a modest, all in a days work....Who knew car mechanics could be so caring.

Called while I was a Costco, my vehicle was acting up on my way there. Thought maybe I could maybe get some help or an idea of what might be wrong. I talked to Steven, great guy. Offered to look, with no promises. Great, its a start. I show up a couple of minutes later. The elderly lady behind the counter was not who I talked too. She was mean at hateful. I didnt have anappointment. She made it a point to tell everyone that worked there, I didnt have an appointment. Scaring off everyone who came near me to help. Luckily the elderly, witch, had run off with broom and or cane in hand to some one else and steven came over to help. We both diagnostic the problem and I left, as I made no appointment and he was reminded as we went out.

I arrived at Pep Boys in Florence (by the Florence Mall) at 08:48 to get my breaks fixed. I already knew what was wrong with the breaks and I informed the mechanic of the issue. I told him when I depress the brake pedal I hear a grinding sound in the vicinity of the front passenger wheel. I also told him that I had physically inspected the breaks myself and determined it needed a new rotor and pads. The mechanic indicated that he would perform an entire break inspection for $14.99. I asked for an estimate, the mechanic said because my car is a 95 Lexus and that the parts are more expensive and his best estimate (if it was only the one rotor and pads) was $308.00. At 10:16 the tech wanted to show me what they found during the inspection. According to the tech, all of my rotors and pads were bad and needed to be replaced and the new cost of the repair (parts and labor) would be $833.00. Listen readers - I know that all the breaks need work, but in this case the squeaky wheel is going to get the grease and I asked the mechanic to just change the rotor and pads on the front passengers side wheel. The mechanic refused to just change the rotor and pads indicating that the vehicle is unsafe in the condition that it is in, and will not sign off on the paperwork because of liability reasons. I told the tech that I wasnt going to pay the $833.00 and to drop the car. I ended up paying the $14.99 for the inspection and left Pep Boys at 10:36. On the way back home I stopped at Auto Zone and picked up the rotor and pads for $56.00 and completed the repair myself at 13:26.

Gave them 5 stars at first. Once I got home and drove and found out they did damage I changed it to a 1 star. Took them almost 2 weeks to admit fault then another week to get fixed. Never again will I take my vehicle or recommend this place to anyone!! 0 stars in my opinion.

If I could give less than a one star I would. They broke the bleeder valves on my car and then had the nerve to quote me the cost of replacing the broken parts. Completely ridiculous. And then when I talk to their customer service I keep getting told I’ll have a call back within 24-48 hours and never get called back. Don’t take your service here.

Had a 9am appointment for a tire plug repair through the website after my tire was punctured on a road trip the day before. Was using a spare so I needed it done and couldnt reasonably go anywhere. Was bluntly told at 9am that I would be fifth in line for the day... Then why give me an appointment for 9am when you open if Im not going to be seen first? Why not say 1pm then? I then ended up waiting until noon until my vehicle was taken into the bay, and afterwards at 12:30pm I was notified that the puncture in my tire would not be able to be fixed. It took 3 and 1/2 hours for me to be told I wouldnt be able to get assistance, which is ridiculous. The MOD Chris was unhelpful and inattentive to questions and concerns throughout the process. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for anything relating to tire repair or replacement.EDIT: I attempted to reach out to the corporate owner as instructed on the date this review was made, and after 2+ weeks, NONE of my messages have been returned and appointments for calls have been missed. Very disappointed with this company locally and now with corporate.

Great deal on tires but you get what you pay for. I called at 730am, they had my tires in stock and they said it would take about 1.5 hours. I was there by 830 and rolling into the bay. I had somewhere to be by 1030 and that was the beginning of the fails. After almost 3.5 hours they finally finished my tires, so I missed my appointment. I get in my truck to leave and the tech forgot to put one of my center caps back on, BACK into the bay it goes. 20 min later Im in my truck headed home.Once I get home I realize the weight on one of the tires is moving around the rim, my valve stem covers are missing and the key to my wheels is nowhere to be found. I called and the manager was very apologetic, its not his fault.Im back today, all The tires need to be taken off and rebalance. So far weve been here an hour. The people are nice, the tires were cheap but thats where it ends. Thats a total of 5 hours of my life so far, that I wont get back from waiting on 4 TIRES..........Update 5/8 I changed to 3 stars because I spoke to Chris this morning and i do believe he is sincere when we spoke and doing his best to make sure it doesnt happen again. I will probably use pep boys again in the future but Ill definetly drop my truck off instead of waiting.

I recently took my wifes car to Pep Boys Auto for service. A sound of uncertain origin had been evaluated twice by a local toyota dealer at the cost of several hundred dollars without resolution of the problem. Nor did it seem like they cared whether or not the problem was resolved. I took the car to Pep Boys and we were told that the struts were bad. After replacing them, the problem persisted which was obviously frustrating. However, the frustration was short-lived. When we reported that the problem was not resolved, they asked us to take a ride with one of the master mechanics. Vince felt like the problem was actually a wheel bearing. The repair was made quickly, and the noise is no longer present. I was impressed with Chris, the manager, and the auto teams understanding of our initial frustration with the fact that the problem was unresolved. They acted extremely professional, did what what was necessary to fix the problem, and accounted for their initial mistake in their billing practice. I couldnt be more pleased with the entire experience!

Too bad I cant give this location zero stars... I took my van in for an oil change and it took several hours to get it done. When i got my van back the belt was off and and my van would not move from the parking spot. they moved the van and told me that the belt was bad and the tension pulley was bad too. wouldnt they know that when they did the oil change and inspection? I went ahead and had them fix it. When I got home I realized that the windshield washer fluid was bone dry. I decided to check my oil because I was skeptical about them even doing my oil change. the oil was dark black like it had never been touched. When I called back to talk to the manager he told me that they may have skipped the oil change. THATS WHAT I CAME IN THERE FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!! Do not go to this location. customer service is rude and they may not do the work you pay for.

I took my truck in for new tires. They bent my rims and I had to purchase new rims. The sales manager blamed me for it. I had the rims tested at 2 other tire places and both said if the rims were that bad it would have been highly noticeable. My truck drove in fine but came out driving like a tank. No response from emails sent to their corporate offices

Went in for an oil change and a check over. Danny was extremely nice and the mechanics did a very thorough check over of my car. They were honest about the condition of my car and were not pushy at all at selling other services. I definitely recommend this location, Danny and his team!!

I will not recommend Florence pep boys to any one if you want to get tires. I spent 600 dollars. I was charged for an alignment but it was NOT done. I had an appointment for 9 am and the manager, Christopher, for the services wants to say “I had to fit you in between cars?” What do you mean I was placed in between cars?? I had an appointment. I made one for this exact reason! I get better customer service just walking into Toyota dealership and asking them to change my oil. And he says “my alignment was done. And that the tires are like new shoes.” My car pulls to one side. I might be a female but I know my car and my steering wheel and the fact that my steering wheel isn’t straight when I drive tells me my alignment isn’t straight. Just because in the computer it was said to be to done, doesn’t mean the guy did it. I mean when the first guy didn’t finish his job?? But that’s ok to them??? I made an appointment! If you don’t take online appointments, then take it off the website all together. The fact this is my only car and I decided to wait there was because he told me it would be 2 hours. Ok. It was 4 and when I called to complain apparently this guy was the manager and went back on his word saying “I said 3-4 hours. My exact words were you were going to be waiting for a while and you decided to stay. I had to fit you in between cars” he said 2 hours not 3-4. And why 3-4 when I made an appointment? I shouldn’t have been fit in between cars. RUDE and just wants money!! Terrible customer service. I was charged to get rid of the tires and he said I wouldn’t be charged that because I was getting one back. When my car was finally done, I have dirty hand prints all over (clean up after yourselves when you are in people’s cars). The second guy didn’t even know that I was suppose to get a tire back! Communication sucks between the workers! It’s bad all together! I am disappointed in you Pep BOys! And I am really p*ssed off about the whole situation. I had to rush home to get ready for work and I didn’t even get to eat until I got off. I made the appointment early enough so I didn’t have to rush. And yet, in the end I was rushing!

Rodney at the desk and Adam the mechanic worked my 03 ranger what i thought was just a pwr strng pump, turned out i really needed some pretty serious repairs, the work i imagine was terribly difficult due to underside rust, but these guys did exceptional work on it and kept me informed all the way so no surprize costs and they worked hard on keeping it affordable,, i could not feel more fairly treated in any situation, and i had just about had it with garages,, excelent work and treated the customer the way customers used to be treated 20 years ago,, i trust them completely and will return with future repairs and questions. Keep this style up guys, it doesnt go unoticed and youll get word of mouth stars from me. Thank you!

After nearly three weeks of waiting for tires that should have arrived in just a few days, I had to call to confirm they arrived. No one from the store knew of my order nor attempted to contact me of its arrival and failed to keep their promise of I call you right back. Once they finally came in, the hour I was quoted it would take for install ended up being three. After it was all said and done I was given a $50 discount on my $1200 order for my weeks of hassle. Only to realize they didnt attempt to give me an alignment.Ill give them a star for completing the work and one more for attempting to correct the issue. But, due to poor customer service and untimely work, I will not recommend their services to anyone and I will take my pocketbook elsewhere in the future.

I was told they could fit me in today for tires. Said it would be about four hours. I walked down to Dave and Busters, made a few phone calls, and watched a college basketball game in their lounge. Four hours later and they just put my car in the shop to start working on it. Now Im over 6 hours and they are still not finished. Never coming back here again! Bob Summerel is much better.

Absolutely terrible service. Ordered a hitch through them thinking I was getting the whole kit, nope, just the hitch itself. Glad they told me that at the store when I ordered it. Not only that, they set up an appointment with me and when I show up for a 10am they tell me they didn’t have it in yet. Thanks for the heads up! I had to call them and keep checking if it had come in too after that. I will never go back to a Pep Boys.

Due to the fact that I have bought a total of 6 new tires within 6 months, is only the beginning of why pep Boys in Florence KY is a place you dont want to take your car to get work done on it. I mean unless you want to shell out hundreds just to have your car revisit within two months with more problems. Especially if they are doing a tire alignment which after having the car there for an alignment now twice within two months and to replace two front tires due to the fact that they are stripped down to bare metal within two months of owning the new tires. Not to mention they dont really take care of your car on the inside. I went up there to retrieve something from my car and I go to unlock my door and when I opened it my interior door panel just falls straight off. Finally I was told last night by one of the workers whos name will not be mentioned, that my car would be completed on 1/20/15 and I could pick it up. so today I called to make sure everything was going smoothly, come to find out my car could be finished tonight and they would call me to let me know by the end of the night. well there store is closed for the night I got no call back so I have NO idea what state my car is in and due to the fact I am now without a car it has now prevented me from getting to work in the morning. Maybe the fact that I am under there 90 day warranty (which I pointed out to them once they said I would have to buy 2 more tires) and I will not pay a dime for what problems they have caused is why they have left me hanging with no answers and no car! I will never waist my money here at this location or on this company from here on out!

Horrible service, I have gotten an oil change, tire fixed before at a Pep Boys. I have been to the one in Cincinnati Ohio Great service. I tried multiple times with this location over here in Florence Kentucky. The service here is just horrible, the pricing dont match and they are just rude. I would not waste my time bothering with this location.

We had taken my girlfriends car to another shop which quoted us over $800 for front brakes, rotors, and calipers. Pep Boys were able to tell us that the calipers were fine and got us taken care of for less than half as much. We were going to drop it off but they had a cancellation and did the job while we waited.Fantastic service.

Product was great. Got a call that I had a dash light on and it was going to cost 120. I stated that I brought the car in with no lights on the dash, and told them to fix it. Pretty sure they broke one of my tps sensors and tried to blame it on me.

I came in late on Sunday afternoon with a flat tire. Although their tire machine was broken, they tried to repair my tire and then graciously put my spare on for me. I cant say enough how nice the employees were in doing all that they could to help me so I could get home!
