Really cool place! I felt like I was in a unique, massive warehouse filled with vintage and antique collectibles! So much to look at and peck through. The lack of air-conditioning in this place held me back from giving it five stars. It was REALLY warm for Summer time! Otherwise I loved it!

LOVE this place so much! Always a treasure hunt here, and you need to put a little bit of time in but its worth it. The staff is wonderful and have bent over backwards at times to accommodate my questions...even opened early for me once because they knew I was leaving town!!! The merchandise varies but veers away from the shabby chic that is still so popular in the south. (Fine by me.) This market upholds traditional, primitive, and authentic--in contrast to the stores and malls that will take just about anything as long as it makes them money. Oh, and if you need a nice old sink? This is your place. :-)

This place large and stocked to the ceiling with smalls at reasonable prices. We can always find something when we stop, most at very reasonable prices. Stock seems to turn over quickly ‼️

Stopped here for the first time today. It was a pleasant experience. A lot of different booths with a variety of antiques. Its a very big store. It is easy to see from the road and plenty of parking. It is rated as 1 of the top 10 things to do in Florence. Ill definitely be back.

A GREAT place where you could spend HOURS looking at everything. Furniture, knick-knacks, etc. wow. I need to come back! Only down side is, no A/C, so it’s BLAZING in the summer.

Was a interesting place.. Lots of Antiques and collectibles. Enjoyed our visit there bought a few things. Everyone that work there was very Kind. Something to do because we were visiting from out of state..

It was great. And the gentleman there was very polite and helped me take out my packages. A true gentleman. Will definitely be back

Great place to stroll through mini-museums of peoples lives and what they loved to collect and use in their homes. Some day our stuff will be in one of these places.

I stopped here on my way to Myrtle Beach from Asheville North Carolina and Im glad I did. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially the gentleman in the light blue shirt and they had some amazing items and great prices!!

Good place for old trinkets

Not from the area ...stopped in to take a driving break. A really great mix of things .... wish there was older stuff but I know it comes in. Friendly staff and definitely will return A+

A lot of antique shops are dark and dirty but this one seemed to be trying to maximize that by being leaps and bounds darker and dirtier then any other

My husband and I enjoy shopping at flea markets and vintique stores. Thieves Market is definitely one of the better ones we’ve seen in eastern North Carolina. They have a great variety of goods from chandeliers, lamps, dishes, glassware, pottery, tools, advertising billboards and signs, furniture, and more. The quality of goods offered is also top-notched, and most of the booths offer great prices. We would definitely shop there again.

This place is awesome, so much cool stuff and the staff is wonderful too! Two years in a row, they have helped me secretly get a gift out to my car while the person the gift was for continued to shop in the store, unaware! They make you feel welcome and it’s easy to spend an afternoon in there, getting lost amongst the many treasures they have. Love it!

Cleaned up the inside, you can actually walk around now. A good mix of everything.

Amazing man who was running it. The lack of A/C was slightly difficult to deal with but the fan in the store kept the air moving and lets be honest...its so big it would cost way too much to cool it down.Prices are awesome. Way better than any other store you might PEDDLE in (lol)

Do not let its appearance deceive you! I almost turned around upon arrival, but I decided it was worth a look-see. It may seem like there’s no order as it appears everything is just slewed across the warehouse but when I asked about where I could find collectible license plates they directed me exactly to the only two boxes that contained license plates. Staff was very friendly and the place is filled with unique finds.

Huge place with loads of items! Variety of prices. Ample room for disabled shoppers like me! Well organized. Hot during warmer months but theres lots of big fans and old-fashioned paper ones are really cute! Biggest vintage window selection ever! Guys are super friendly and helpful!

I visit every time that I am in area. I always find things for my home (including kitchen table) and gifts for friends. And, staff is always offering assistance. Love this place.

Interesting place. I love going to plunder but the prices are outrageous and the building is falling apart. Dont look up because the ceiling is deteriorating.

The store and selection is a sight to see. I love going to this place, you could spend hours here. If you go to this store and leave without buying they will treat you differently than when you came in to say the least. Snide, and passive aggressive comes to mind.

Great place to take your time and explore all the treasures they have. Good prices and friendly staff to help you out. Cant wait to return.

This place is huge. But its all kind of crammed together and you would have to know what you were looking for or just have a lot of patience and time. It wasnt air-conditioned, but they did have some fans going which helped quite a bit.

We always have a great experience at the Thieves Market! Wonderful stuff and great prices. We always find a treasure to bring home! And of course, Russell loves to go see Desi!

Such a fun antique store! I could spend hours and hours in here, which I think I did. Came back the next day and saw things i didnt see the day before simply because there was so much stuff! If you love antiques and old stuff piled up nicely in a giant building/ warehouse, then this is a must stop in place for you!

Hands down my favorite place to go when visiting Florence. I travel to Florence at least every 3 months and I always make it a point to stop here. I always find something to bring home. The business is family owned. The store is split into vendor booths. The building is quite large. I believe it used to be a warehouse. Due to the products being sold by individual vendors, items vary from dirt cheap to over priced. I do recommend going during cooler seasons. They do not have air-conditioning and the industrial fans through out can only do so much during the Summer.

This is my 2nd time here.it was fun looking through the items.Wasnt looking for anything specific,just passing time.walked out with a binder full of basketball cards and one Cal Ripken baseball card.There is something for everyone.

The staff greeted us immediately when we walked in and offered assistance. A variety of items for everyone. Most booths are packed with allot of items. If you dont have enough time to browse you can miss some good finds. I dont care for all the clutter because a shopper runs the risk of breaking an item. We were passing through from NC and we would definitely stop by again.

I sooo love visiting the market. There are so many nice things available. If you like ironware or ceramic what-nots in your yard or just like nostalgia items in your home this is the place to go. It is full of pricey antiques and junk. Lots of pricey junk. It does have some odd things you may not find anywhere else. Just not my thing. Owners are super nice!

This past Saturday my wife and I rode to the beach on the way back I told her about this place. my prater in crime buys and sells farm equipment and I tag along just buying tractors and not selling. He was the one who introduced me to this great place. Its just a thrill to go through it. when you are my age to see things you had or seen when you was a kid is the greatest flashback you can have. As I did my wife fell in love with this place and cannot wait to go back. So if you are in town or even just go to see the market you wont be disappointed.

Love the antique stores that are packed where you could find hidden treasures. Although, you can tell the sellers for the majority of the booths really love their stuff as they are priced fairly high.

NEVER PATRONIZE THIS PLACE!!!! I have visited hundreds of antique malls covering most of the 50 states, and I have never been treated as rudely by the staff here than any other mall I have ever been in. They refused to contact a seller about an item that I had a question about, insulted me about my knowledge of an item I have collected for decades, and then to top it off, accused me of damaging a different item in the store that I barely touched! All of this while shopping here with my family from out of town, who were extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed by how they treated me. How is that Southern hospitality?? The place is very over priced and not worth your time, unless you like your antiques covered in about 5 inches of dust! BEWARE!!!

Huge facility. From the odd sized door, to older hardware and everything in between. There is no air conditioning and the floor fans do little to help. Visit in the spring or fall to avoid heat and dust stroke.

This mall has gotten better over the years. Vendors are more reasonable on their booths now. Had a really good shopping trip last time I was in the area.

I have been a patron of thePalmetto Peddlars, for over 30 years. I never really know what will attract my fancy any given day, but, the personnel have always been congenial and helpful, MSG Leum/John
