It’s like Walmart but with higher prices and lower quality goods except limited brand selection for almost everything.The employees are nice and most of the store is “clean” if you don’t mind finding a needle wrapped in toilet paper while using the bathroom.Because it was conveniently close to our hotel, I made a few trips but would have preferred elsewhere.

I love Meijer. Its like the HEB of the North. You want food Meijer has it. If you want clothes Meyer has it. If you wanna get smashed at 1:00 in the morning Meijer has liquor. Its like this big awesome store that is full of stuff.

Great store let me leave my boat there when I had a flat. Was still there untouched over the weekend. Fixed the flat and was ony way. Thanks to the great personal at Meijer.

I feel like this Meijer is bigger than the one I usually shop at in Birch Run. The layout is different but nice. I went to kill some time while waiting to meet some friends at a nearby restaurant. It is a nice store.

We sheltered there for a tornado warning in our area. Staff met us at the entrance and immediately instructed us to go to safety in the back of the store. Additional staff provided seating to some, and bottled water was made available as we sheltered until the warning was lifted. Staffing was great!!!!!!!

Went late, hour before closing. Plenty of employees available to answer questions and help you find what you are looking for.

Clean inside and out. Wide aisles, great variety and shelves are always stocked and organized. Employees are helpful and courteous.

If you have all day to stand in lune..I guess its average Meijer. Never have I checked out in less that 20 mins..Never! And Not one Meijer that I ever been to have enough cashiers! How can this be?????

I was buying tools with a tool bag at the self checkout when this employee darts to me and says that he has to check the tool bag for security reasons. It’s a $25 tool bag and I know exactly what he’s doing but I ask him why. He says it’s for security reasons so I ask him what type of security. He says I don’t want it to sound an alarm if it goes off LOL not on a $25 tool bag I’m thinking. So I front them out and said just admit it you want to make sure I wasn’t stealing and he said well it’s my job and I told him next time don’t lie to the customers. It’s embarrassing when everybody’s watching your items that you are buying get searched.

Pretty clean store. The employee at the self checkout was extremely helpful even while dealing with other issues.

Busiest time of day, day before Fathers Day. Only five lanes open. Currently standing in line to checkout in isle for womens shoes. Have been in line for over ten minutes and no calls heard for additional register help. Poor scheduling on managements part. Need to get their act together or customers will go elsewhere.

We dont get to Meijer as often as wed like, but love, love all Meijer stores.Regarding this location- it was super clean and staff was friendly. (We saw them sanitizing common areas, as well)Meijer carries some items that grocery stores dont near home, so love that, and their produce is truly the best... so fresh and a huge variety.

Selection and prices are good. Checkout lines not so good. All lines were about 10 ppl long. Self checkout included.

Literally loathe having to go to this location unless its late at night. If you decide to shop here during day time hours EXPECT unreasonably long lines. EXPECT not enough cashiers and wandering employees unable to assist in checkout. EXPECT more closed checkout lanes then open. EXPECT no cash card only lines. Expect 20-30 waiting to get out of there. Or just travel a few extra minutes to a competitor with proper staffing and likely better prices.

Meijers on Hill Rd always has a large selection of everything. The produce department always has a wide variety of produce but its always fresh and normally find an employee there every time. The customer service is good but like every where else right now...they could use a few more cashiers. Great job Hill Rd Meijers...I give you 4 1/2 stars

They are a very good store who has worked with me on getting sweet acidophilus milk for my childs allergy. They would order just for us. They have also added a couple of items to their stock due to my request of foods from my home area. I appreciate their kindness.

Worst meijer trip ever. Lines were very long and very slow moving. The worst thing of all was my cashier. She was not very friendly, nor did she take any pride in her job. The clothing I bought was literally wadded in a ball and tossed into a bag, she didnt nicely set anything into bags. It was tossed into bags upside down and laying in its side to be leaked out. Cold items were not placed together though I placed them on the belt in such order. Ill never understand people that act that way in the public service work force.

Wasnt greeted by any associates...even during checkout. Didnt have frozen black eye peas.

Compared to the Meijer (Center. Rd in Burton) Im used to shopping at, this one definitely takes the cake! They are very clean, organized, well stocked, etc. They have an amazing produce selection. And the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I grew up here used to work here always like shopping here even though I dont like the new hours with them closing at midnight it was a lot more convenient when they were open 24 hours A-day for everybody expresses I couldnt even imagine for shopworkers. Which I am not but I still am a 3rd shifter

This was my first stop at this location since it was remodeled. Wow! What a beautiful job they did. I highly recommend this location.

The sales people are always kind and courteous. However the last few times Ive been there they do not have the coffee creamer that they usually have. Also, no dress shoes in stock.Could it be because of Covid? Possibly. But Ive noticed many empty shelves. They are very good at sanitizing the carts and restrooms.Everyone is required to wear a mask. I will still shop there but am hoping they will stock the shelves better.

I only used the restroom, and it wasnt very clean. There was Toilet paper all over the floor, the garbage was overfull, flowing onto the floor, and the toilet paper container had no toilet paper in it.

Meijers is good! I just went to the garden center to peruse the stock. Every garden center this year is meagre! I got a little pot of Basil to accompany Audrey, my new Poppy plant Ill eat the Basil, but Ill F E E D Audrey!

Went to Meijer this evening. They didnt have enough lanes open. I entered an open lane (light on) and the cashier closed the lane and made me move lanes.Meijer this isnt right. I used to love meijer but it wasnt stock all sale items were gone and not available. I got rude customer service from a stick person when askd about a item they had on sale. The cashier ms. Eugene. She checked us out had conversation with us and askd us if we found all of our items okay. She made the rest of the day worth while.

Normally Meijers on Hill Rd has been great until this last 1yr or so... Everytime we go they are always out of something. Meijers in Birch run was amazing. Fully stocked,garden center was loaded..Meijers on Hill Rd can learn a lot from the Meijers in birchrun

I would not recommend if needing any sort of hunting/fishing license. I went in to grab a few groceries and also needed a fishing license, an employee was paged to the sporting goods counter four times and no one ever came. The employees that I did find were not able to assist at that counter.

Simply a personal preference, but I like the Auburn Hills stores layout much better. Specifically, in AH, at the main entrance, the produce department, bakery, meat department, and deli are all right there, together. Refrigerated and frozen foods are close by.The layout of the Flint store is much more spread out. The meat department is waaaaay over on the other end. The frozen and refrigerated foods are strung across one wall and seemingly haphazardly sandwiched among other aisles.Both stores were very clean and have friendly, helpful associates.

The online ordering is disastrous. I placed an order at noon which was accepted on their app to be picked up between 6-7 pm. I was called 5 hours later after already scheduling my day around this to be told it would be delayed. At 8 pm I went to the store to ask about this order as no one answered the phone after 15 minutes of hold, only to be told “it hasn’t even started to be picked yet” when asked why that was they stated they had people call in and a lot of orders placed. This is a terrible excuse as they could have easily not accepted the order and gave that reason around noon or anytime before 30 minutes prior to pick up time saying it will be “late”. I shop here frequently and probably still will just do not use the app for ordering for pick up terrible service and terrible support.

Bought my favorite hot dog Franks, brought them back to Tennessee.

Stopped for gas and a soda, bathroom was clean, however female clerk never once put her personal phone call down to acknowledge us & actually walked outside once, leaving the entire building empty....wonder if mngt cares? We had to wait & were still not greeted or appreciated

The store seems too be much bigger. The grocery dept. Has an array of different.items. vegan. Gluten. Dairy ease. Lots of organic products as well. Toys toys toys.nWow. massive. Not a wide variety of home decor but it reasonable.

This location is always busy, but nevertheless I havent ran into any employee who wasnt trying to go out of their way to help me find an item or checkout with positivity. I will continue visiting this location as my main supermarket.Always has most of what I need, usually the Keurig pods are out of stock, but its well-worth the trip for groceries every time.

Christina the Davison, Michigan Cashier is awesome. Great Customer Service always given to my Ederly Brother In Law who is hard of hearing. And all the times that I have gone to this Meijer Christina has been great. Lucinda another Cashier is the only Meijer Cashier in the State of Michigan that I know will tell me & my Brother In Law ( whom I help & care for ) tells us of Food Items that are light & can easily get smashed up. Lucinda puts them in a bag separate by themselves & lets us know about the bag right away & to be careful. Mike the Dept Manager in The Produce Section is always nice. Mike & Eric & Liz in Produce Always Speak & Say Hi to Everyone & they are not even Meijer Door Greeters. They all say Hi though. And always speak. They are People Persons too. And they do their Jobs great in the Produce Section. They are hard Workers.

Not as much merchandise as other Meijer locations. In a bad area, so many rude people and scared to park because Ive had my car dinged and been in an accident with someone speeding across the parking lot. Security was useless for help. Checkout workers are sometimes rude and unhelpful for me being disabled. I recommend going to another location for safety and better selection.

Store is great but the woman door greeter seems to be a bigot.Only acknowledges people of color.

I am extremely disappointed in how they handled the sales of their panini chronicles basketball cards. These are a very hot item and meijers allowed a customer to just buy the entire trays without putting any limits on the product to allow other consumers a chance at it. I spent weeks tracking this product out only to find out it barely even made it to the shelves. Please find a way to put buyer limits on these the next time they come out. They only release each specific product 1 time so its not like I can just wait til they come again. Now I have to wait until next year for a whole different draft class altogether. This should be behind a counter where you have to ask someone for a pack and then can only buy x number of packs. Take a look on ebay and see what these people do with that product, look at the resale value. Look up how many packs were purchased at one time too. Im sure your store has the technology for that. Well I wanted to be heard on this topic and hopefully this gets to the right eyes/ears.

Because we live in TN now our card was denied. It is red. Got Koegel hot dogs but not gas because of no discount.

The stores standards have remained high during this covid period, every time that Ive visited the store, the carts are sanitized and wipes are readily available. My shopping times are normally in the 7-9am range, so if I change to a busier time, I will definitely update.

My experience at Meijer on a Black Friday minding that the state was shut down. Due to the sickness all the Michigan locals took the mandatory mask in public places seriously. I found what I needed and of coarse splurged on some good sales. Got to say the store was clean and spread out for shoppers to keep safe distances. Over all my shopping experiences there were pleasant enough to give it five gold stars. I would strongly recommend this location in you are In the area.

When I arrived I parked as close to the entrance as I could because it was 8:30 pm and entered through the Home entrance where I was greeted by 2 very polite employees. When I finished shopping there were only 2 checkout lanes open for the whole store so I was sixth in line with more people lining up behind me. After 20 min. or so I went to the same door I entered and it was locked! I walked to the entrance at the other end of the store and had to walk through a very dark parking lot to the other end of the store!!! That was scary! There were some poles with lights but that parking lot was DARK! Not a good experience.They could have posted a sign or told me when I arrived that the entrance would be closed after 9pm!There is no excuse for a store that size to have only 2 lanes open.And that parking lot experience! Wow!Ill stick with Walmart, at least the parking lot is well lighted!

Store was busy but I got what I needed and the ease to checking out was pleasant.My cashier name was Asil.She is very nice. I wasnt having a good day, but her positive attitude made my day. She is a good addition to the Hill rd store.
