My kids and I loved our first experience at Comma—a great locally owned bookstore. The owners were warm and kind, conversational, let us know about upcoming events and were very friendly to my children. We were excited to take home three great children’s books and a new hat, and we’re looking forward to our next time there.

The atmosphere is wonderful. There is something for everyone. Books, vinyl albums, apparel, jewelry and personal products. Youll find it all at Comma.

I went in looking for bilingual children’s books, which i was having a hard time finding at other places, but i was able to find a great selection and so many other wonderful books! i will definitely be returning. the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming and the owners were so kind and helpful. so excited to have found this bookstore!

This place/space is wonderful! Greeted warmly and safely by Dorian, we were given the grand service and shown many of the other great businesses supported by the bookstore. OF COURSE, they have books but theres a lot more to see. So proud of this new Black- owned venture right in downtown Flint Michigan!

Comma Bookstore and Social Hub offers a nice variety of curated books that detail and cover the black experience. A bookstore like this should be a staple in every community.
