Well I used to really like this place. However, this weekend I dropped off my vehicle to have a belt replaced and they returned it with a missing catalytic converter. Then proceeded to tell me that they arent going to do anything about and that they arent responsible for my vehicle. all while laughing at the situation.

They never cease to amaze me with their honesty, prices, and timing. Best oil change price around! They are always busy but can get me in and out in a day or two. They give a courtesy call to explain all my car problems and let me know which ones need attention and which ones aren’t as big of a problem. They never over sell me and they always do good work. Been going here since I had a car and I would highly recommend. Usually expect to leave your car there at least for the day though.

Ive only visited this place twice wants something happened with my muffler on my Lexus fixed it no problem. And I had a screen or something had shaking loose underneath the car on a Buick Enclave and they fixed it with no charge so Ive never had an issue here I would go here again

Stopped at muffler man after being told by four different places that my vehicle needed everything but the part that was really needed. Our family has used Muffler Man for years. My daughter had a older money pit car that visited often and they kept it going until she could afford the next jump up. Her new car came in and it was something they couldn’t fix, a dealership problem if it comes up again. They told us it may or may not. They didn’t charge us for the looking at it fee. Thank you. I think this is a place that has been honest with us always and I left places that weren’t. You have to trust who works on your cars.

I needed brake work done after I barely had brakes one day. Muffler Man found the problem and explained everything to me and what it would cost. They did a great job and got me on my way.

Worst experience ever, had car repaired and told them wouldnt be able to get until Monday. When I picked up vehicle, it was left outside. When they put up on hoist they discovered the catalytic converter was stolen. The crew that was working laughed about it and then said nothing they could do about it, it was my fault for not picking it up. Cost me over 600 dollars to fix .

Place can get very busy they were when I was there. Did a front of suspension work on the front of my extreme Blazer and took her for and alignment. They were quick and priced very fair compared to others.

Dropped my truck off over night, called next day with specific instructions. I used to go here quite often, then once I brought in my Regal and they told me, You have a bad tie rod and a ball joint on the front left wheel. Ok, they fix it.I bought the same car in 30 days later for an oil change (as I always got my oil changes there for years). Guess what ? You have a bad tie rod and a ball joint on the front left wheel.Isnt it under warranty from last month when the same thing was wrong.Hold on.... Oh we made a mistake.Unreal. You lost a long time customer. This was years ago, but I have a long memory and people need to know who theyre dealing with.

They are good depending on whos working. Make sure you investigate prices because they will try to over charge you if they feel as though you dont know any better. They do good work though just dont let them charge the heck out of you.

Definitely feel ripped off. I Left my car for a repair (they were busy as usual). later, I got a call that they recommend an additional repair and was told it would cost an additional $100, so I went along with the recommendation.but when I went to pick up my car, I was charged an additional 300, apparently because they added a couple more hours labor. also, the labor was exaggerated, as i know what time they started and when they finished but then they charged for more than double that time (there is zero flexibility when it comes to ‘manufacturer’ estimate times)Lesson: Make sure to get everything in writing (don’t trust the phone estimate), and get an estimate from other shops before getting your car fixed here.

If they are busy, expect to wait because the only do walk ins. However, if you do wait, they get your car diagnosed and repaired really fast. Today was my second time going and Im happy.

My wife, daughter, and mother-in-law had their windshield crushed in yesterday on the way to Detroit. They were forced to pull off at this Muffler Man on Corunna road. My wife spent 2.5 hours arranging a tow truck and dealing with our unhelpful insurance company. In the end, our insurance company wasnt able to arrange a rental car and the tow truck wasnt big enough to give my family a ride to a rental place. So...the wonderful people at this Muffler Man gave my family a ride to the rental car place. In fact, the employee (who couldnt leave his post) called his manger (who wasnt working that day) and she came in and gave a ride to my family.I cant say anything about their Muffler service as I have not yet used it. I CAN say that these are good people with good hearts.Thank you Muffler Man employees and management! You guys are the best!

I just walked in to inquire about an oil change and having my transmission fluid checked and when I walked in there were about 10 people waiting in chairs. I saw some people at the counter doing paperwork and asked the gentleman behind the counter about getting my oil changed and didnt even finish my sentence before he interupted and told me I had to wait in line. I was thinking okay, maybe the people doing paperwork at the front are in line. These people were talked to by a lady about 10 minutes later. So I waited. Was not even acknowlege and after about 15 more minutes, I left. I wasnt really helped or directed.

The service was kind! Professional. The bathroom well kept. I went for an oil change, they check everything and put air in my tires because I asked. Great SERVICE

I was there to have a wheel bearing replace and after waiting hour and a half the mechanic came over and told me he could not do it because atie rod need to be replace also so I came next day with the the replacement parts and after two hours of waiting went to ask the lady what happen that I did not see my car pull in yet.Her answer was sorry,we are not going to do it today, we dont half enough mechanics ( some of them where smoking and talking inside the shop)Well I told her why You didnt tell so before. Sorry, come Monday I am going to give you a good deal.I came Monday Surprise, price was almost half more than the first written estimate.Uff.Before She did not say who the good deal was for, the shop or me.Well, went to another shop and they did the job and cheap than Muffler Man.P/D. Before I use to go Muffler Man because there were some guys thatAlways show me was was wrong with my cars and told me if they have time to do it or to come back another time.

11/25/16-11/28/16For oil change and simple things a good place. For heater cores, find somewhere else! they replaced my heater core and it took them 2 days to do an 8 hr job. When i got vehicle back, only heat was from defrost, no other vents worked. They told my wife to go to an auto parts store and get a heater you plug into cig. lighter, lol. The automatic door locks worked fine going in but didnt work coming out, and there were 2 parts laying on back floor. They told my wife the parts were for the steering column and wasnt really needed. Funny how the engineers at dodge didnt know that .12/1/16-12/2/16 Took it back and they had another 8 hrs, I told them I wanted pictures of the parts put back on steering column but they didnt give me any.Coming out heater worked just fine, said door locks are working just fine, but didnt. Now I have no headlights or automatic door locks and dont know if parts went back on steering column.12/3/16 Today its back to be fixed once again, I hope they fix it right this time because they tell me I have no legal action to take. 744.00 plus tax.and cant take legal action, yeah and I was born Last Night!

Took my 66 year old moms car to muffler man. To have theme fix the power steering line and break lines they zip tied the break lines to her fuel lines and left theme hanging. If slush and ice would have built up in theme they would have broke.and my mom would have had no breaks. Took it back and they told me they do it to everyones car.

Went to get an oil change, the rude lady at the counter told me they were too busy to do that, and proceeded to try and help the person next, I said when will you have time? She said tomorrow morning. So I called the next morning and a lady answered the phone so I asked if they would have time for an oil change and she said I don’t know it’s first come first serve. So you want me to drive all the way up there for you to tell me you may or may not be able to service me. Get out of here with that! I went to Valvoline and got great top notch service. I suggest you do the same.

Im giving 5 stars based on 99% of my experiences here. The last mechanic i dealt with there,though,would not get 5 stars. Im going to chalk it up to his age and arrogance. Anything i can fix myself they have always told me what to do. Theyve never taken advantage of me. But my last visit-i guess the man thought i was a dumb female. Wanting me to order a part for $120 and pay the $80 for labor. I bought the part used at the junk yard for $15 and my 9yr old helped me put it on in 10 minutes. I will still continue to go there because of the good people they do have there.

Wait times are super long. Most of the time the mechanics get the job done but not always. It depends on who you get. Just be sure to have 3 hours or more of free time because your going to be waiting a long while.

I have been in the auto world for 40 years plus. Anyone giving good ratings for this business is related somehow. It is the pitsof pits. If you are a professional you cannot work there because you could not perform the hack they require to get the job done. They dont care about the quality--get the vehicle in the door--do whatever it takes- and ship it. All about the money. The leader strives on hacking just to get the job done OIL IS OIL. OKAAAY

This is definitely the best muffler man in the area. The front desk people are always freindly and they are usually very accurate when telling you your wait time. If you dont have time to wait they will always call you to let you know when they can get you in. Ive been to other muffler mans in the area that are rude or wont even call you when they say they will. I have never had issues with this location and will go out of my way to come here instead of the one thats right by my house

The good: Really cheap labor, pleasant employees...The bad: NOT doing their job, no appointments, cleanliness, speed, quality of waiting room...Went in to get my aftermarket exhaust system/downpipe put on my 03 GTI 1.8T. The exhaust was put in pretty quick, although I did drop the car off since they DO NOT make appointments. Everything lined up, fit well (it is a genuine fitting bolt on exhaust), but the next day I noticed considerable rattle, AND an exhaust leak. I of course took it back. They apologized and assured me that theyll get it right. This shows that they do not pay attention to detail, nor double check their work. I could slide my muffler tip from side to side with 3 inches of play. how can you not notice that when you install it?I am currently waiting for the car to get done. Its been four hours and it hasnt been touched yet. I am almost at the point of asking for a refund.All in all, its a cheap-labor shop. What do you expect? I just wish I took it to a more expensive shop, the job would have been done right the first time, and 5 hours of my Saturday is not worth $30 in savings.

BE CAREFUL! THEY MARK UP THERE PARTS!!! I spent 196$ There on a AP catalytic converter and the same one was 99$ at AUTOZONE and $84, free shipping on the internet. Next time Ill be buying the part somewhere else and then have them install it.
