I am not car savvy at all, but they took the time to educate me. They were fairly quick, very friendly, and overall amazing. I would recommend! It was a very fair price (a friend mechanic was going to charge about the same). It was worth every penny for the service and kindness I received.My car is driving so smoothly now. I am so thankful. This business has been in the community of Flint for a very long time, and that says a lot.

In October 2019 I had discount muffler and brakes replace my rotors and brake pads And two calipers. For about the past six months I felt there were something wrong with my braking, So a finally brought my car in today July 15, 2021 to have my brakes checked, and they tell me I need two front rotors and brake pads. Also, all pads need to be cleaned, which will cost me approx $350. I found out they use CHEAP PARTS so we have to keep coming back every year!! Even thoughI have a lifetime warranty on brake pads and Not the rotors! I I didnt realize discount meant CHEAP Parts not Servicing! So, from now on I will go to a dealership, where I get quality parts and work done, and I shouldnt have to come back For Years! People need to find out what kind of parts theyre getting. Why Not pay for quality parts which cant be that much more and the same servicing amount. So you dont have to keep coming back every year, what a racket!! 🤔🤨 🤬

Absolutely love this place. I usually fix my own car but winter. You can bring your own parts and if you end up not needing some they are honest and wont waste your money by putting it on anyways. They have never tried to tell me more was broke than what was. They fix the issue and dont upsell you on fixing unnecessary things.

I’ve been taking my car up there for a week straight and everytime I get it back, something ELSE that wasn’t the problem originally is now wrong with the car. I feel like they’re fixing one thing and destroying the next so that I can continue giving them money.

I Took My Truck There For A Muffler And Tail Pipe From The Cross Member Bar On Back They Tried To Charge Me $674.00.. I Took It To Muffler Man And Had It Done For $304.00... The Lil Old Lady Must Charge According To Which Of Her Bills Are Due... Either Way You Wont Get A Discount At This Place They Overcharge Extremely.

Nice people but when they make mistakes they Dont own up to it. Told them my problems and debbie didnt write my problems down just took my truck in and called me a day later with new problems. They didnt even check for the problem i sent my truck in for. The paper debbie had was blank they told me they didnt know wat the problem was how when i told debbie the problem i was having which is a power steering problem and when u crank the truck u hear the problem. So how they didnt know if i told them and u can hear the problem this is ridiculous so i took my truck to tuffys. Dont go here

They are Fair and do not overcharge. The Mechanics are good and explains and ask that you come look at the problem. Keep up the good work.

This really hurts my heart because Ive been going there for years but I just cant continue to go there. I took my Chrysler town & country in for rear brakes and it was sputtering while running. Turns out I needed a tune up and rear brakes, rotors, and caliper. I couldnt afford both. The mechanic explained that I could probably wait another week or 2 on the brakes and that I had a lot of life left on my front brakes. He went so far as to show me an example of a brake pad. My front brakes had a lot of pad left. Like a LOT! So, got the tune up and came back 2 weeks later for the rear brakes etc. This time a different mechanic said I needed front brakes & rotors. Just 2 weeks after the last guy said I was good on those for a long time. I declined. I drove away and noticed a few hours later my front brakes slightly rubbing. Its a little over a month and now they are grinding! I dont know what happened and I dont care thats not right. Howd I go from my front brakes being fine no grinding that same day to grinding right after that appointment. Thats not right! And I double checked my oil and it was still dirty after they supposedly changed it. I cant go back there.

Even though there was already a few vehicles in their shop, they got my car in to inspect it within minutes. And the price was very reasonable . They even had to order the part and it was there very quickly and the service was great. Very respectful and friendly staff. Great job everybody.

Do not use this place. I went in because I put a used muffler on and needed a coupler welded. Nothing more. I had it hooked up with clamps and was as quiet as could be. Then they came lose and the exhaust came apart at the coupler. I dropped it off. To get a call ten min later claiming there is more than i thought wrong. As I came back it was on the lift. The y pipe was pushed up and down till he broke it off the manifold. And told me he couldnt replace the bolts for fear the would break my y pipe to the manifold. And would have to replace my manifold to address the exhaust problem. At a cost of 950$. What was funny was my bolt was still laying on the ground. And the fresh steel was visible from the inspection on the broken bolts. When I left my truck was louder than ever. And backfired. Which it never did before!. He was afraid to remove the 3 flange bolts. But would be fine with breaking every manifold bolt in my engine. For a additional cost of 100$ per bolt. I went home and drilled the 3 holes in a half hour. And 2 drill bits. And put new bolts in. He was creating work. Not fixing the problem.i wanted them to solve. All for under 20$. I really want to go back and kick his ass!

I was in and out in a little over an hour and compared to most places that was great. The pricing is fair and the staff is cool. I would recommend them.

Started out really liking them. Good work at low prices. Being a woman I feel like a I get cheated at auto repair shops. Two women work here and they set my mind at ease. Second visit I just needed back brakes and a front blinker light. The blinker light didnt work once I got a mile down the road. I called immediately and the mechanic Dave tried saying it could be this or could be that without saying Bring it back and lets look at it. I had to tell him I was bringing it back and maybe the bulb was bad? Also, he took me out to my car to show me how bad my rotors were. I only requested BACK brakes so why were my FRONT tires off and he was telling me my FRONT rotors were bad along with my pads? Also the back ones were bad along with calipers. No mention of rotating the rotors, just needing new ones. So, a simple brake job and a blinker and oil job WOULD OF COST me $1000.00 IF I would of done everything they wanted done. Still ended up costing me over $200 more than I thought I would pay. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

Only had a number and called Marlo / mechanic kept the location of the shop from me. I owe nothing to this shop. No lean for work is due. In fact we are hoping they fix the issues they made. Not so professional so far. Now I feel it was a big mistake to try the place. Would bring a lot of business but now not so sure

Took my car there last summer they charged me $2,000 for one thing putting a turbo in when I got my car back they gave it to me twice broke the third time I it ran for one month oil all over my motor and coming out of it radiator fluid start dropping out and when I took it to a shop again they told me whoever touch my car previous tore my car up yes so thanks for nothing so people do not bring your car there they will set you up to come back an overcharged you

DO NOT GO HERE AGAIN DO NOT GO HERE SMH I been at this place 7 time first time I went it was for tie rods my car was running great came back becauseMy car would not start up took my car back to see why because my car always started up went there to get my alternator done also a fuel pump the same issue was still happening I had to take my car to another shop and they said my parts was put on wrong I would never go back there again after all the money I have spent please do not go there if you are a woman they would cheat you out your money

Horrible place to take your vehicle. Got rear brake lines and supposed all new drum brakes and hardware to the tune of almost $700, had to get my vehicle towed there because my brake locked up on the expressway about 1 month after having work done then got it back and 2 days later had to return it for a 2nd time( same issue) then returned again for 3rd time. Now I took the drums off myself and realized they never put new hardware. BEWARE THEY ARE FRAUDS AND HAVE BACKYARD MECHANICS YOUVE BEEN WARNED.

Do not recommend this place to anyone. Im not sure if the mechanics on drugs or high.My car was brought to them four different times and the problem still isnt fix. I spend almost $1000 and everytime I bring it back for the same problem its something different. This experience with this place has been horrible.

I went in last Monday to get my brakes looked at. I was told I would need front and back pads, rotors, shoes, and more done for about $450. I was also told if I kept driving on it, Id need calipers too. Im glad they werent able to do it right then because they lied and were trying to take advantage of me. The husband of someone I know offered to do them for me if I bought the parts. The front brake pads and rotors did need to be done but it was very far from needing the calipers too. When he took apart the back brakes, a build up of rust poured out. There is no way this shop looked at the back brakes and they didnt need to be done at all. Service like this is why auto shops get flack. Dont be taken advantage of like I almost was.

CAREFUL OF POSSIBLE RIP OFF!!!! OR JUST LACK OF KNOWLEDGE!!!...... My tire barring broke on my 2007 chevy hhr so I took my car into this shop. It had been sitting in my driveway over a week and it snowed so when I went to take it to get fixed I had to jump my battery. I drove it right to this shop (walking distance from my home) and the steering was suddenly really hard. They fixed the barring and then called and said it wouldnt start after charging for 45 mins and I needed a new battery ($100+). I just bought a new battery less than a year ago so this was odd that it would be completely no good. I was also told my power steering was out and it was electic so I would have to pay $800+ to fix it. Again this is odd because I had no problem before I parked it until I jumped it. I went to the shop where suddenly they were able to start my car and the claim to have not said I needed a new battery.... Hmmmmm..... I asked them if me jumping the car could have effected the power steering? I was told no its the unit and would coat $800+ to replace.... I took my car home n googled the problem, watched some youtube vids n sure enough it was just the fuse that got blown from the jump! Easy fix! $5 fuse!!! Works just fine now.... It seems to me that they tried to tell me all these things (over the phone) to get an OK to fix n charge me tons of money especially since it was days before Christmas. If not its very sad that the professionals at this shop dont know something as small as a blown fuse. I am a woman and I knew to think more into it. Idk whats going on here but the business seems shady!!!! Beware of service!!!
