Lovely place!! Super loved the owl decorations and are available to purchase!!! The staff was quick and friendly. This was a nice place for lunch/ brunch on my trip to Flagstaff to see my parents. I was very pleased to be able to have my dog able to sit outside with us and enjoy the brunch we got and fresh air. The food was tasty and good sized portions. I will love to come back sometime when I am back in town again. Definitely recommend.
I literally want to move to Flagstaff so I can frequent this place. From the moment we walked in, the staff were so attentive and friendly! The whole experience was so lovely and the food was delicious. I am a vegan and was blown away by the vegan eggs and bacon. Definitely a must do if youre in Flagstaff!
Waited 20 minutes to be seated. Sat at the table for 20 minutes… no waitress, no water, no acknowledgements. Four other parties seated, got their food, one even had enough time to get their to go box and leave and still not even a glass of water. We asked the hostess about get our order taken. 15 minutes later still nothing. Extremely disappointed that we brought out of town family to this location only to end up have to eat to go McDonalds on our way home after wasting over an hour at this place. Absolutely unacceptable service. I will never recommend this restaurant.
This is the cutest place. The portions are huge. Lots of seating. The vegan burrito was awesome, filled with delicious seasonal veggies. The almond flour pancakes are out of this world. The almond pancakes are good enough to eat without syrup;however, the hot syrup knocks these pancakes out of the park. Would come back to Flagstaff just to eat here again.
We had a lot of fun here! It was busy but the service was very good and friendly. We adored the mimosas coming in owl Mason jars, and our food was delicious! I recommend the breakfast tamales
Excellent food, great choicesfriendly staffreally recommend.
We were so excited to try Toasted Owl. Woke up early to get there before the crowd. We have four kiddos and it’s rare us six go out to breakfast. The hostess told us they will not seat us together and wanted to separate our family. The place was not crowded at all. Then when I asked why she told me this wasn’t the place for me or my family. Bummer!
Food was okay. No AC in the building. It was warm. But it was good if you dont mind the flies there was a lot of flies. On the windows, tables and your food.
Food was great with large portions and the service was friendly.
I kept coming back because I love the cute owl cups that come free with mimosas, but I’m done. The service is consistently awful. This last time it took 30 minutes to get our drinks. When our food finally came, it was too cold to eat. We paid and left.
Their food and drinks are exceptional!! I absolutely loved how they did their eggs, potatoes, green chile, and tamales - there was something really special about them. I also have to mention their bloody marys, because Im super picky about them and the one I had here was absolutely perfect. Couldnt have asked for a better breakfast. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This place was just okay. The price point is a little high for the quality of food. It seemed to come with good reviews and was close to our hotel so we gave it a try. Honestly not sure the hype the options are limited and just okay. The kids meals are overpriced and the proportion makes is cheaper to have kids split adult meals than buy two kids meals. I hope there are better breakfast options in Flagstaff!
The food was great and friendly fast service...I call this place a little piece of heaven for my wife...
Neat place. Very clean and friendly staff. I was a bit disappointed in the serving size of the french fries and the burger. The waitress bragged helping the burger was and when it came it was a bit small in my opinion. I basically took the burger and put on half the bun and it fit perfectly. Seemed a little overpriced for $13
Phenomenal! I got almond cakes and a breakfast bowl full of fresh veggies! Cool atmosphere almost like an antique store. Service was great too.
Green chilie is good and spicy! Cute little place
Amazing food, cool decor, and the service was the best in Arizona by far. They offer all day breakfast and lunch. The coffee was just okay but the Cuban sandwich was good. The pancakes are huge (plate sized) and tastes wonderful. The restaurant is filled with owl figurines of all shapes and sizes so it is cool to look at and explore.
Food and service was awesome! Very kind staff🥰
Everything on the menu looked so good it was hard to decide what to get. I got the Horned Nest of Goodness and couldn’t have been more satisfied. Our server, Nabeal, was super friendly and took really good care of us. Their coffee was good and strong, I wanted a mocha to drink and our server, Nabeal, delivered by mixing coffee with the chocolate milk for me! Top notch food and customer service @ the toasted owl. We’ll be back!
Very cute place in Flagstaff. We did not eat at the one that was in town but this was really cute... still had outside patio for our Dexter.
This is my favorite restaurant in Flagstaff for lunch. All of the food is very good but my favorite is the Flagstaff Omelette. You eat in a lovely open setting with the tables well spaced apart, a plus in this pandemic. Or, when the weather is warm, you can eat aside, a pleasant quiet environment,, unlike many outdoor eating spaces. The wait staff are always prompt nd friendly. What else can I say? A fine place to eat. BTW, everything in the place can be purchased so if you like your table, take it home.
The wrap was delicious! A scrumptious mix of green peppers, sunflower seeds, goat cheese, and humus. The locally made tortilla really topped it off for me. I also enjoyed the vibe created by a mix of vintage, paintings, table sets and light fixtures. I suggest sitting near the kitchen because the peeps back there have quite the playlist. Thanks Remmy!
Pleasant place. Good service. The last two visits to the toasted owl east had the same result. Omelette, pancake, French toast, syrup, coffee, and English muffin all served at room temperature. I would not order anything that should be hot. 50/50 on returning or not.
Great food. Great location .
Unique place breakfast was great and looking at all their oddities was a fun experience
The yelp ratings werent fair for this restaurant. They are really great! The decor is fun and wonderfully country while being very clean. The plates and coffee cups were all different as to add to the welcoming at home feel. The service was prompt and friendly. They were wonderfully engaging. They texted us when our table was ready so we could hang out in the heated car instead of suffering through that oh so stinging morning air. The food was great! Leftovers to be had. Highly recommend!
I’m just baffled more than anything. I always hear how good this place is, it’s always busy but it was horrible. Genuinely horrible. Firstly I have an insensitivity to potatoes so I substituted fruit for it. The fruit comes in a ketchup side cup and is $3.50 if you order it separately. When I got the check I was then charged for that fruit even though I didn’t get my potatoes. My toast was pretty badly burnt as well. Of course they display the non brunt side to you on your plate though when they bring it out. No one at our table was served water, maybe this is just their policy but when it’s the only place in flagstaff that does it... it’s kinda odd. While I was the only one at my table who downright didn’t like their food at all, no one else thought it was “good”. The word used by everyone was “mediocre”. The only thing that was enjoyable was the Chai Latte which is mostly likely a pre-made liquid they just heated up. There are GREAT breakfast food places in flagstaff, this is not one of them.
Interesting vibe but good food at reasonable price. Lots of owl items inside.
Toasted owl goodness, but outta place in a strip mall.
The toasted owl is always great! They have tables very spaced out to be covid friendly. On weekends do expect a wait as they are always busy, but they are busy for a reason! Best brunch in Flagstaff, and the east side location is quieter and not as busy as the downtown location. Both have great service and great food!
Flies everywhere. On the food. On the tables. On the people. On the owls. Food was okay. Servers were very friendly.
Perfect place to stop on a girls road trip. The staff was so fun and nice. The food was great and the Bloody Mary was amazing.
Good local restaurant! Great place to go eat.
Awesome staff and much shorter wait time than the Toasted Owl downtown. We had originally gone to the Toasted Owl downtown to be seated but the environment was lackluster as well as the service, and we were told there would be a 40 minute wait time (which is 100% okay, there is a pandemic so there is limited seating. We had a 7 hour drive ahead of us, though, so we decided to drive to this location instead.) There was no wait time at this location, and the person who seated us and took our orders was SO helpful and sweet. The restaurant is filled with owl décor and beautiful lamps overhead. To my surprise, everything there is for sale, you just have to ask for prices. The environment was cozy and welcoming and the food was delicious. I got the breakfast burrito with chorizo and it was one of the tastier things I had in Arizona. I also got a hot chocolate which was yummy!Awesome service, clean restrooms, and delicious food! I definitely recommend.
LOVED this place. Went twice in three days. We got their souvenir Owl glasses the second time. Definitely going back whenever I come to Flagstaff.
Such a cute atmosphere! Been here twice and have loved the food each time!! Will be back!
Great little place! Good food andd fun atmosphere!
Ill admit this place didnt look so amazing based on the sign but dont let that fool you. The staff was great and super nice. Its the kind of place that serves OJ in Mason jars if thats your thing. The food is made from fresh ingredients (you can always tell). The inside decor is interesting to say the least. All in all if you give it a chance it wont disappoint
Exceptional service, quaint ambiance, and gooood food! Portions are generous. Ask about the mimosa in an owl mason cup. This place is popular so expect a wait, but its worth it.
Food was fine but not spectacular
We stopped in for breakfast after an overnight in Flagstaff and the service was really friendly and the food was really good! Very generous portion sizes. Best breakfast potatoes I think I’ve ever had with the Spanish omelette. Inside & outside seating. Lots and lots of owl stuff. I’d recommend stopping in.
Wonderful little diner.
What a disappointment. Upon arrival we were greeted by someone who asked how many in our party. We told him 4 and after a few minutes was sat at a table for 2. He obviously wasnt listening. Finally got a table for 4 and waited 5-10 minutes for a waiter. He was nice but seemed very new and took him about 5 minutes to bring back water. Our food took a very long time to come out. 20/30 minutes and was served to us cold. Im not kidding, literally cold. Plates of eggs bacon potatoes had obviously been out ready to serve 15/20 minutes prior. Ive managed restaurants my entire life. They were extremely short staffed, unorganized and just one hot mess.
We loved our food! I got the vegan BALT and fries. Loved it. Excellent vegan bacon, bread and fries. My dearest got the pancakes, chicken strips and bacon- which he says is the perfect combination. The Toasted Owl knows this, that’s a meal you can order, not something he made up. All of his food was great he says. Coffee was good, our server made sure we were never out despite it being bonkers busy. They’re taking Covid protocols more seriously than some other restaurants (capacity, table spacing, QR menus, contactless pay, all staff masked) and doing an excellent job! (Patrons are probably trying? But with less success. When we came in there was a big clump of humans by the door/register being more concerned about the wait time for a table then social distancing or respecting other beings).
So yummy and I adore all the owl decorations 💖
Great atmosphere great food great service HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Had the best breakfast at the east side toasted owl! The food was great and our serve Carlie was fantastic! I would definitely recommend their breakfasts and Will be back myself, soon!!!
Oh my goodness, this place is amazing and the service is superb. The food is great and good portions. Also, I feel safe in a healthy environment respecting the virus.
Very good food and service hidden gem in Flagstaff
Fun and delicious place for brunch - it has a lot of character.
Great sandwich. Friendly staff.
Great breakfast with lots of vegan options. We got vegan pancakes, vegan breakfast burritos, and sides. The fries are exceptional. Service was great and Carley was super sweet!
Great atmosphere and service. Food is as expected.
Good service. Good food.
Worth the waiting. Deliciosos food.
We love the friendly vibe here and have never been disappointed with their menu.
Good food, good service, friendly staff, local hometown favorite
Solid breakfast option. If you are on the east side, look no further.
Slow service, and they didnt bring out one of our meals...
This was the second morning in a row we attempted to eat here and ended up leaving. We were sitting for over 15 minutes without anyone coming up to us. This place is irritate you..
I ordered the spanish omelette and the cinnamon roll, both were delicious! The omelette had spicy chorizo with lots of veggies and cheese, it was also a big portion and really flavorful. The cinnamon roll was BOMB! All the employees were wearing masks and they were following social distancing recommendations. Would definitely order food from there again.
Fried egg sandwich was delivered undercooked returned a second sandwich this time missing ingredients third time finally got it right the rest of the table ate their breakfastThat person waited 15 minutes for the correct breakfast and had to eat by themselves toasted out offered a 10% discount for their failures ridiculous!
Quaint with personable service. Portion sizing is perfect. Highly recommend the almond pancakes. Owl knicknacks galore!
We are visiting Flagstaff. A very popular place, so expect to wait for a seat. Food is great and portions are more than plenty. We are two mornings in a row
Great food! Fast and friendly service! The vegan burrito is enought for two. Not disappointed by any means.
The food and service was fantasticSo glad to try the Toasted owl for my daughters birthday . Will be back again
Unfortunately we did not get to experience this place. We checked internet to see what time you opened. It said open. We, as well as other folks were there at 9:00, only to find the door locked. I would suggest keeping a closer eye on your website.
The green salsa is a must have for most of the breakfast items. Great taste and a nice kick.
Good food, great service, & fun decor - well worth the drive from wherever you are!
We went here based on the reviews, the service wasnt that great the hostess Montana was a little rude we where told the wait was 45 mins and ended up being 2 hours and the she sipped our name and said she called it but we where sitting right by her so she didnt. Our server he was great . food is good but not a 2 hour wait kind of place .
Sooooo delicious! Great food in a fun & quirky environment. Highly recommended. 😁
The food was Excellent! The decor is so neat. Lots of owls! The service is outstanding. We will be coming back here for sure!
We love the artwork and never fail to grab brunch before heading back into the valley!
Oh my gosh, this place was incredible. Everything in the restaurant was owl-themed (and for sale), and they had plenty of vegan options! I got the Vegan Burrito, and I have to say, the variety of vegetables was much more than I expected. That thing was loaded with vegan meat, kale, broccoli, brussels sprouts, carrots, potato chunks, and Im sure much more that Ive forgotten by now. I thought the salsa was a lovely addition as well. What I was really impressed by was the flavor of the whole thing. It was just enough seasoning, and I could still taste all the vegetables. The tortilla was light and crispy, and I enjoyed every bite.
