Being a barista and pastry chef I look for exciting coffee shops to try! The employees at cedar house were very welcoming. The espresso and pastries were delicious!! Would highly recommend trying when in town.

Staff was super friendly and helpful in picking a drink! I got a hot chai which was amazing, my husband had the peanut butter mocha with cold brew which he loved! I would definitely make this a stop if your looking for coffee in flagstaff!

Cedar House is my go-to coffee shop. Their Pear Almond or Raspberry Pastry with a London Fog is my usual order. The fire place also warms me up when the weather is pretty chilly. Today I tried the spinach and feta pastry and it was really good. They have a little shop with cool stickers and air pod cases. They also sell their in house teas and some merchandise. Also their customer service is amazing. I would recommend this place to anybody willing! :)

Great place to enjoy some homemade tasty baked goods and great flavorful coffee. I was impressed on the solid coffee taste - on a quad shot pour over ice. There was no citrus or sour taste - just a good solid coffee taste. Appreciate the variety of baked goods.

Best chai latte in town. A perfect balance of spices to (oat) milk and perfectly sweetened. Not to mention delicious croissants! 5/5 stars and more!

We’ve been traveling around the US in our RV for a year and coffee shops are one of our favorite thing to visit. The drinks, service and our brownie were all absolutely amazing and easily one of our favorite cafe so far. We will be back!

I found this coffee shop when I searched google for “coffee shop to work”, but it’s not suited to that. No public restroom, outlets are covered up by tape, and they have a sign posted asking you to limit your stay to 30 minutes. With that said, the coffee was delicious and the ambiance is very nice, so it’s a good place to grab coffee to go or meet someone for a short time.

A hidden gem of Flagstaff! Coffee here was delicious. The staff was super cool and really help you select a drink. The pastries were so good. The pastries I ordered were the chocolate almond croissant and the spinach feta. They tasted fresh and were perfect with the coffees. Stop here to recharge after a long hike!

I had a brownie and a pastry wrapped sausage with a latte.Inside was inviting and had a little section of artsy items to shop. I believe it is family owned and operated too!I really appreciate that there were dairy alternatives, such as coconut milk! There was also soy and almond.

This Coffee shop is so good in so many ways! I’ve had the best Carmel Macchiato ever here! They have fresh baked pastries everyday and the local, relaxing, enjoyable atmosphere is totally conducive to talking with friends or just reading quietly on your own! I love to take out of town guests here ‘cause it’s one of the best businesses in Flagstaff!

Cute little coffee house. I love their seasonal drinks and baked goods. They sell some community art/goods as well, which I appreciate. Great ambiance inside and they have a few tables outside as well. It can get fairly crowded though, so parking and seating inside can become limited.

I cant rate this coffee shop on their products because I didnt stay. I wanted to order a drink & a pastry and sit down and enjoy them, but they dont allow customers to use their bathroom, she suggested I go to Safeways which is not convenient nor is it walking distance & its across a main road. Since I had to drive anyways I went to White Duck Coffee instead.

I enjoyed this delightful coffee shop so much I returned each of the three days I vacationed in Flagstaff. The staff were warm and friendly. The coffee was perfect and smooth. The pastries were just, wow! Spinach Feta Cheese Wrap was exceptional, my favorite. I also enjoyed the Cherry Wrap, Sausage Roll and amazing Blueberry Scone with a delightful lemon drizzle. I loved sitting by the fireplace relaxing and savoring my morning treat! Cedar House Coffee Shop is a must stop spot each time I am in town!

Super cute coffee shop with a chill atmosphere. The barista recommended the peanut butter mocha and it was delicious! The chocolate croissant was just as good. They are only allowing 25 people in the cafe and there’s a 30 minute limit to indoor seating due to covid. There was minimal parking so I parked in the neighborhood behind the store. I’d definitely come here again!

Great coffee shop. My wife had her usual coffee and I tried the strawberry yogurt smoothy. Since Im not a coffee drinker I highly recommend the smooth during the month of August.

Pastries are amazing and the coffee is fabulous. Wonderful place to spend an hour in or two.

Very disappointed. I was so hoping for a better first experience here. The espresso was very acidic. I paid for a triple ($4) but got a cup with the amount of one standard shot. With two pastries I end up paying $14. This is not reasonable, especially for a working class/college town. Chocolate almond croissant was way too sweet, the dough dried out and starchy. Pig in blanket had similar dough, and the hotdog was not good. For a place that touts European coffee and pastries, I find the prices too high and the quality inexcusably low. No one in Europe would pay these prices for this stuff. In Spain you’ll get the best espresso and napolitana (chocolate croissant) of your life for 2 euros ($2.50). So what exactly is the standard here for Cedar House?

My friends in flagstaff took me here because they said its their favorite coffee shop and I see why!Its cute and quiet with friendly staff and great prices - way more affordable than Starbucks. I got a got chocolate and it was delicous :) thank you guys

Delicious, handcrafted pastries combined with strong, flavorful coffee plus genuine service! As a constant consumer of black iced Americanos, I was pleasantly surprised at the smooth, robust flavor- not super citrus, acidic, or sour notes which many are in other cafes. The sweet pastries are delightful as well with lovely texture and a balanced flavor rather than just sugary sweetness as well as the savory pastries have good filling. You can tell the baker knows their stuff. Service is very accommodating and helpful- even taking the trash from my mothers sugars away as soon as she was done. I say swing on in and patron this local establishment!

I’m really unimpressed with their coffee. It’s gross and tastes weird... like plastic or chapstick. The food was also bad and clearly shipped in frozen. Not worth visiting again. 0/10

All their baked goods are made from scratch! That is a lot of work and hours but they put a lot if work into providing good quality food at their coffee shop. They care about their coffee and service and go above and beyond to make it right! Great people, super cute place, great atmosphere!

Cute shop, and yummy drinks (I dont know how the coffee is, but our orders turned out very yummy!)We ordered a hot chocolate and a pumpkin chai. They were tasty, and the shop gets double bonus points for presentation! See pictures :)It was also nice that we were one of only a few groups that were there, though the shop got a touch busier as the day got a bit later (we were there from 9:30-11ish on a Friday). Plenty of seating, even then, and we enjoyed the variety of options for sitting (table, couch, wingback chair, hightop table).

Best family owned coffee shop and bakery in town! Im gluten free and they make a great variety for all! My go to is a Dirty Chai with almond milk and a gluten free mini bunt cake.

It’s no wonder this place has such great reviews, from the minute you walk inside to the moment you receive your order everything is very clean with a great atmosphere!Their cookies and cream frappe was absolutely one of the best we have ever tasted in by far the best coffee shop in the Flagstaff area.We have tried many coffee places and we continues to come back to this place! If you are looking forma great place for coffee and little pastries, this is the place! We are definitely going to be back.

This small local gem has been a cornerstone of stability in my routine during COVID. Its got a cozy Parisian cafe vibe with a charming gift selection, including products from some local makers. The coffee is consistently great and the pastries are incredible (Ive tried almost everything on the menu). Everyone Ive interacted with has been kind and provided excellent service.Its easy to see that significant care has been put into the crafting an design of the space; I come every week and something small has shifted every time - perhaps seasonal decor, a new gift section, or a seasonal item on their blackboard menu.On top of all that, theyve done a great job navigating COVID. They have been perfectly clear from the start regarding their safety measures and boundaries as a business. Hand sanitizer is available and the COVID safety measures (such as line markers) are easy to follow and have been beautifully integrated into the design of the space. As such, I have always felt perfectly safe patronizing this coffeehouse.Being greeted by a friendly and familiar face each week and enjoying a coffee and a pastry in their outside seating has provided a soothing sense of normalcy and routine that I cant overstate. Im grateful to Cedar House for staying open and keeping our bellies filled and hearts warm all year long.

Great cup of coffee. They know how to mix a cup of joe to your liking indeed. Its conveniently located on the route to the Grand Canyon so you can grab one on your way out of town. Very friendly staff, and cool southwest nic nacs to snag up for your domicile.

This is a delightful, family-owned coffee shop. The atmosphere is joyful and warm and the goods are amazing. I avoid coffee shops with loud music. It was so nice to find Cedar House -- very soothing atmosphere, soft background music, and beautiful inside.

My husband and I were heading back to Phoenix and wanted to stop for some coffee and a quick bite to eat. This place did not disappoint. Instead of stopping and getting something to go, we couldnt help ourselves but to enjoy the ambiance of this place. Its quite quaint and has such a relaxing and chill vibe to it. I had an apple turnover and a caramel frappucino - absolutely delicious. Thank you again for the experience!

I enjoyed this place so much that I returned the next day for more of their yummy vegan fruit pastries. Cute items for sale and cozy seating. The staff was terrific, too. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Flagstaff.

Really good place for a coffee. I had a decaf latte it was excellent, nice and hot and good flavor. Hubby had a plain black coffee also said his really good. Young man working there was very friendly and gave good service. Would recommend this place.

An awesome coffee shop to relax with a friend, or to visit by yourself to get some work done. The drinks were great. I didnt see anything coffee-wise that was an extreme specialty that would really make this a standout coffeeshop, but it is good, solid coffee. Good seating inside, and ample seating outside but it can be a bit loud with traffic. The only downside to the place is the lack of a big parking lot, but the road parking seems to be often available.

This is a coffeehouse exactly the way it should be. Lots of comfy chairs and couches, relaxing music, and consistently delicious coffee drinks served by friendly staff. What keeps me coming back over and over is their homemade pastries which are literally the best in town— perhaps the best of any town I’ve ever lived in! Cedar House is a sweet sanctuary. ❤️

Cozy atmosphere, great for studying on a cloudy day. The decor makes you feel at home. Get a little tired of coffeeshops that only have tables, so its nice to come here and curl up on a comfy couch or big chair with a book. Great coffee, wonderful pastry options, and super cute little retail section. One of my main go-to spots in Flag.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Flagstaff! Not only do they have a great atmosphere and interior, their menu is awesome. My absolute favorite coffee drink is from this place--Its their blackberry lavender latte. I keep coming back just for this drink! I always get it iced with almond milk and its just incredible.

Havent had a croissant this good since Paris back in 2009!!! Coffee is great and service was wonderful as well. Highly recommend this place.

If youre looking for a coffee shop with vibes as good as the coffee look no further! When I walked into the shop, instantly I felt at home. They have traditional coffee and pastries (the scones there are absolute heaven) as well as Paleo & vegan snacks and treats. The Barista was super helpful and even gave us suggestions for things to do around Flagstaff. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

We love coming to Cedar House. The staff and owners are wonderful + make some of the best coffee in Flagstaff, as well as kid friendly drinks- and this comes from someone who has to please gluten and dairy free kiddos. Best coconut milk latte in flag!They make the majority of their pastries in house including gluten free options and some healthy grab and go foods, and cherry on top for every parent: they have a fun assortment of kids toys for free to play with, as well as a fun little boutique shopping area. Worth coming in to check out the fun decor and I saw they added a meeting spot now in the back! Check it out. You won’t be disappointed!

A most Charming coffee shoppe. Vegan and non vegan pastries available. The ladies behind the counter were every bit as delightful in conversation and persuasive salesmenship as the atmosphere of the shoppe itself. My only disappointment was in not being able to return to town before 5 pm. I was looking forward to trying another hot drink and pastry. This morning I sampled the Dirty hot Chai and a star shaped peach pastry...the place filled up quickly with regulars but the ladies were very quick at filling orders and so the line was not a problem...enjoy your visit..I most certainly enjoyed mine.

I met the owner Wendy while my daughter DeAnna 12 years old and her friends where their after school. All the kids from Montessori Middle School like to go hang out there and do homework or just relax on the chairs around the fireplace. Wendy loves having the kids theirAs she wants a safe neighborhood hang out for the kids and has offered the kids to bring in board games or she can even bring some in for them to play with. She has made her coffee shop a comfy place for all ages and her prices are amazing on everything. She also has some really neat stuff for sale. Its a very quant comfy safe place for kids to hang out. I hope you try this shop out as it is great...

I gave this place a try because it was 2 minutes from the place I was staying at in Flagstaff and I was very pleasantly surprised. I ordered a cappuccino and I found it to be perfect, exactly what I was wanting. The interior is cozy (they have a fireplace) and the neighborhood is quiet. This was my favorite coffee shop in Flagstaff and Im thankful I gave it a try.

LOVE this coffee shop! Im a college student and I love coming here to get off campus. The drinks are SO GOOD (I recommend the chai) and really well priced. Its such a sweet atmosphere and has the cutest stuff to look at/shop for. It honestly has everything you need and is the perfect place to grab a quick drink or even stay and do work/school/relax.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Flagstaff. Youll never have to fight for a seat, and the drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and the aesthetic was pleasing on all fronts. I can not recommend this coffee shop enough, it is a must see for any visiting Flagstaff.
