Scott and his crew are awesome! I upgraded my Duramax front end with aftermarket control arms, sway bar linkage, inner and outer tie rods and a handful of other necessities, since I have a 6 lift nobody else really wanted to even touch it but they jumped right in and did a fantastic job even on some small bits that required some minor fabrication. Super helpful and knowledgeable plus the pricing was spot on. You can tell these guys are doing this stuff on their free time too I highly recommend you get your work done over there.

I am writing this review to help warn others that American Spring has lost its way.STRIKE ONE: I brought my Toyota truck to the American Spring to get new stocks installed. I had to bring the truck back 3 X because they botched the job replacing shocks. 1. the alignment was way off (the steering wheel would not return to center). 2. They stretched an ABS brake line and triggered the ABS dash light. The ABS brakes would not engaging properly. In short, I needed to take the truck to the Toyota Dealership and spend hundreds of dollars repairing the mistake made by American Spring.STRIKE TWO: I decided to give American Spring a second chance. I brought in my 03 Jeep to them to repair the rear shocks and springs. I never imagined what would happen next; the owner of American Spring allowed an unskilled worker to fabricate my rear lower shock brackets and released the vehicle back to me without inspecting the fabrication work done by the trainee.STRIKE THREE: After expressing my concern over the poor fabrication; I brought it back in and the owner of American Spring guaranteed that he would do the fabrication work himself and make it right. HE DID NOT!!! HE BOTCHED THE JOB! The owner did not cycle the rear suspension and measure the total safe articulation of the rear axle.To make matters worst, the displacement of the lower brackets did not allow for the tailpipe to be reinstalled and it cost me $250 at muffler shop to fix the screwup.American Spring cost me thousands of dollars and countless time that I can never get back. In the end, I took my jeep to professional fabrication shop to fix the brackets and cycle the suspension properly.

I got a 2.5 Icon lift on my 2010 Tacoma. I also got my front and rear bumpers replaced and both front headlights replaced.I had a great experience, they were able to work around my busy schedule and they took the time to explain everything to me.While they were installing the lift they found that I had a bad right side tire rod and they were able to replace it and realigned my truck the same day.

Snapped a spring half on the highway. Being on a road trip from the west coast to the East Coast.Its bad enough to have a failure like this...Scott and crew took great care of me, Did a very thorough inspection and made the repairs and got me back on the road the next day, very fair price. extremely happy with time and cost, can not recommend American Spring an alignment or any service you may need.

Extremely helpful shop! I’ve just finished installing Firestone Ride-Rite air bags on our 2016 RAM 3500 Cab Chassis, which at least to my mind is a bit of an odd install as it’s a universal kit. I spoke with American Spring three times during the purchase and installation process and even though I’m DIY in this case, they were always willing to help and answer my questions.

I feel so fortunate to have been recommended to American Springs. They did a thorough inspection of my brakes, showed me what needed repaired, gave me a quote.....I had them order the parts. Was in & out the next day in about 4 1/2 hrs. Scott and all the guys there were great, professional....got the job done! I feel the price was totally reasonable. I will travel to Flagstaff (I’m an “out west” nomad in my class C) to get repairs or upgrades done in the future. Thank you American Spring!

If you’re looking for a good auto shop in town go to American Spring. Scott, the owner is a honest person, and he took care of my basic mechanic needs for a great price. I have an old 1970 Chevy C/10, and American spring replaced my carburetor, installed new fuel lines, installed new new fuel pumps and filters, and adjusted the points on the distributor. They got my truck out of there in no time. I will definitely be going back!!

Seasoned, professional outfit- Installed an RCD 3 lift on a 2010 Silverado 2500HD- no muss no fuss- so far so good! Services rendered were done as described, at exact price quoted. Scott and his crew even took extra time to do some final last minute adjustments- on the spot. Great mechanical service, and great customer service. Last year came in with creaking sound on dirt roads. I was told the upper suspension was shot and the lower suspension was going....2K. Wasnt sure as the lot was crowded with junked cars.Took it over to a dealer. He found no problems- suspension was tight!Later when I drove through some big puddles the noise disappeared. A year and a half later after alot of rough driving the noise is still gone.

They broke the part that I paid for, then charged me for the labor.

Having ball joints replaced right now. Had me in the day after I called. Showing me everything that needs to be done while they are doing it. Repacking wheel bearings and wheel seal no extra charge. Replacing brake worn brake pads at the same time. I went and bought the brake pads and they are installing free because they already are apart.

In a time when not many people deliver on thier promises, let alone go above and beyond expectations, these dudes do. Plain and simple. Scott, Kyle & Justin were great! They listened to what info I had on my suspension/steering problems, what I wanted done and how much money I had to spend. I fully expected to receive a follow up call stating more issues had been found and more money would be needed. The only call I got was from Scott informing me my vehicle was fixed and ready to be picked up. AND not only was it fixed for the price we discussed but he also found a way to repair another major issue for me that I couldnt afford AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. Bottom line... These guys did me right at every turn! Thanks guys for all the help, solid customer service and quality workmanship. I will bring you all my work and anyone else who will listen to me in the future!

After calling several different places in town, these guys gave me the best estimate for new struts on my Monte Carlo. Everthing was installed properly and the staff was courteous and professional. They even offered me a ride after I dropped my car off with them.The work took an extra day longer to complete than estimated, but this was not a problem.I highly recommend these guys to anyone who needs suspension work at a very reasonable price.

My trailer broke a spring when we hit a pothole on the I-40. Pulled off the road and found American Spring less than 1 mile from the exit. This was at 4 pm. This company/owner does not stand up to his word. He is miss leading and not trust worthy, I would highly recommend not to trust them at all.

If I could rate it higher I would! The guys at American Springs went above and beyond with every aspect of service. We threw a front drive shaft, traveling cross country with our dogs. We brought our Jeep to them, and right away they started doing all they could. Even went as far as to let us bring our dogs into the A.C. and offer them water. We never got the feeling that they were trying to make an extra buck on us because we were stuck and ased on the amount of people we saw, we knew that they knew what we were doing. Scott was extremely helpful and we would recommend a 100 times over.

I had rusty front frame horns on my 1960 Land Rover replaced by Maxs Body Shop, When I got it back the U-bolts had been tightened one side at a time reshaping and weakening them, wedges that go between the axle assy. and springs to set steering geometry were missing and the wheelbase on the right side was 1-1/2 inches shorter than the left side wheelbase so the front and rear wheels were pointing in different directions. Not getting satisfaction from Maxs Body Shop, I took the truck to American Spring where the U bolts were properly replaced, the wedges added to set the steering geometry, and the front right spring attachment was relocated so the wheelbase was the same on both sides. It took a little time to get scheduled but when I got in the work was done quickly and properly. The truck now drives like it did before I took it to Maxs Body Shop. Had I known about American Spring before hand, that is the place I would have gone for my frame work. I very highly recommend them.

Got to Flagstaff after two weeks of offroad camping all the way from Houston. My Xterras shocks were underperforming to say the least. Spoke with Scott and after his expert advise he had some Bilsteins sent via UPS to install asap. Was very impressed with his knowledge and that American Springs specialized in offroad suspension components/shocks etc. Very satisfied with the service and shock choice. These guys rock!
