The owner is very hands on guy and even took the time to breakdown my new 12β sub. My deck on a Buick Enclave 2013 is on alder touchscreen model so I needed a professional touch and the finish product was clean and no hassle with wires. I gave them a brand new stereo in the box and an unopened wiring harness. All they had to do was swap out the stereo and attach the harness. They didnt use the harness i gave them at all. They clipped most of the wires and we found a couple screws they didnt put back that hold the stereo in place right behind the stereo. They also left loose wires under the passenger side dash under the glove box. Also the stereo controls have not worked ever since. I have tried calling them numerous times since to have them fix it but never got a call back. Never got a refund or the harness i gave them. Im never going to them again. Had to take my car to my brother who used to work in a stereo shop so he can fix it now.
These guys were a lifesaver when some squirrels chewed up the wiring harness and more in my β04 F350. They were able to solder everything together and for a totally reasonable price. Grateful for fast, friendly and local service. Will definitely be going back for a remote start. Thank you guys again!

I had these guys upgrade my whole sound system in a Jeep. They did an amazing job. The whole staff and owner are really knowledgeable and friendly. They gave me different options as to what I can do. Not pushy at all. My keel sounds AMAZING! Highly recommend.
These guys are honestly fair and worth the money. They really work with you and your schedule. I had them install an alarm on my car and new door locks on my car for its 200k birthday. They worked after hours for me since I work 7-4 and gave me a great price and even helped fix my speakers in my car. The only reason this isnt 5 stars is my passenger doors lock isnt put quiet back right but luckily it still locks and unlocks. Hopefully theres no issues but for now Im happy!!!
Sub par service. Broken parts inside my vehicle when I got it back. Nothing works but they still charged me. What a joke. James the owner needs to get some new employees or start doing everything himself
They did ok..didnt hook up my capacitor and attached amp to back seat of new car without asking.Also used cheap wire but charged me for the good stuff.They acting like I was inconvenient for them but didnt mind over charging me. Im going to Matt at Sound Sensations..he is reasonable and takes time to explain and make things right.

Had an RV rental issue (ended up being nothing) but these guys were all great. Got us in and out and provided some recommendations for our trip. If I lived in Flagstaff and needed auto work done, Id come to these guys
I was skeptical at first. I went and got some subs installed, and upon dropping it off they didnt really give me a time they estimate it will be done (i scheduled an appointment and dropped it off early), whatever, expected it to be done at the time it was scheduled. I called about an hour after the scheduled appointment they said they still didnt start and will pull it in. Long story short i didnt end up getting my car back until the tomorrow afternoon (it was ready in the morning at opening but i wasnt able to go right away). Upon picking it up they said they were in shop until around midnight catching up, thats dedication. I was worried up until i got it because of the lack of communication. It was installed perfectly, hooked up great and i have had 0 issues so far. Besides the lack of communication and behind schedule (I didnt judge or question, hard to know whats going on behind doors) they did an incredible job for an affordable price. I will be sure to come back for any future installations and will reccomended friends for sure.
Had back up camera for 2014 Chevy Camaro installed by sounds good beginning of March 2021. Once I went to pick up the car I noticed the door/ seatbelt chime was distorted. I took the car back Monday just to be given a BS run around with no one taking blame or even knowing how they would fix this issue they caused. I would have been pleased if anyone took blame or even apologized for the issue. Sadly I left without this being fixed. I will not be returning. I highly recommend this Audio store to look into what a GM car chime should sound like and invest in fixing these issues if they are going to cause them.
Small little joint that doesnβt operate like the other places. Nick and James provided great customer service and stayed late to install a backup camera in my truck last second. These guys will pretty much install anything for you. They do a lot more than just car audio.
Stopped in just today to help with a Cruise America RV issue and James was wonderful. He easily diagnosed our issue and fixed it within 15 minutes. Very good service indeed. Thanks again James!

We bought a new used Pathfinder that had a DVD player that was brand new but had been mounted into the headliner π€¦πΌββοΈ. Called Sounds Good got me in in a couple days and did the work in a couple hours for a great price. The DVD player is mounted bomber now and isnβt going to ruin the headliner. We recommend them and plan on coming back once we have the radio system replaced. Thanks!
James knows his business. Fair prices, expert work, family owned. Very casual. Donβt come here expecting a fancy waiting room, receptionist, or salespeople. Itβs your basic local garage car audio and alarm shop, but better. Most local small businesses work with James because he does a great job. Come here, not to Best Buy.
After having a local auto shop kill my car battery by leaving the key in the accessory position, they then jumped it (numerous times) that way. When I got my car back the radio wouldnt shut OFF and they wanted to replace the ignition?!?! 5 minutes at Sounds Good and my car radio was fine. These guys are great. If you have any problems with you radio (even caused by a mechanic) come get it fixed right the first time!

My experience was good very reasonable price especially for a teen like me making minimum wage. I got home and looked at the work they put in a cheep small stereo deck for me and remarkably fast do a same day walk in, but I soon realized they did not connect the volume and channel controls on my steering wheel witch wasnt a huge deal for me (but still was not happy) then a month or so later I couldnt figure out what my car was doing it was like some kind of power surge.THEY LEFT EXPOSED LIVE WIRES BEHIND MY STEREO!!!! It was catching plastic on fire and arcing all the time and it sucks not being able to give a good review especially sense the crew was so nice and helpful but the work was unbelievably sub par.

Terrific service! Was recommended by our daughter. We walked in and told Keone that we wanted to upgrade our stereo, he showed us what we needed, didnt try to sell us the most expensive outfit, just what we needed. He gave us the exact amount, explaining everything and was able to set us up right then. 45 minutes later he was in our truck with us, showing us how to work our new system.
This place does great honest work. I had trouble with my remote start. A placed in Albuquerque wanted me to buy a new remote. So i thought I go back to the place where I had it installed. And Sounds good troubleshooted it and got it working again!! thanks guys!!!!

These guys do a professional job at a fair price, and they dont try to oversell the customer. Ive had them replace the factory stereo in two cars, and Im very happy with both installations.
I cant say enough good about this operation. I show up with an appointment with a new radio [a gift] in a box. I was treated with the same courtesy as if I purchased a unit off the store shelf. The very difficult installation was as perfect as you can get. Every part and accessory mounted correctly. The owner/tech even took a generous amount of his time to walk me thru the operation of the unit and the blue tooth features and insisted if I had any additional questions he would be there to help....and get this...No charge. Now the price. The same as if he supplied the radio! We own 4 vehicles and this will be our sole supplier for any audio/video needs. Great job James and staff.
1. This guy fixed a problem Id worked on for 2 months...in 15 minutes. I mean, look at that mess, it looks like that under the dash too. I replaced multiple parts to no avail. These guys know their stuff.2. I had James install a new deck in my Civic si. About a year later I decided to try my own sub install, and it went great. What surprised me is when I pulled out part of the dash. The neatness, tidyness, and quality of the work these guys did when the installed the deck was incredible. And thats in a spot that no normal customer would ever be expected to see again... Thats INTEGRITY. Hard to find anywhere.100% recommend.

I was very surprised by the horrible service I received at this new location. At their old location, when the owner was involved in all the transactions (or at least in earshot), customer service was actually a thing. I came in today, as the smart start on my car stopped working after the dealer installed new locks. I assumed they unplugged it, looked under my dash, saw the blinking lights and confirmed it was unplugged. Seemed like an easy fix on the manufacturers website, but its not my specialty and I figured Id support a local business that specializes in it instead of messing with it myself. Bad idea-- new location has horrible custom service (owner wasnt around) and employees who have nice curse words lined up for customers.I was treated like dirt from the start. Once I walked in the guy upfront told me I needed to call the manufacturer to program it. I said it was already programmed and told him what troubleshooting I did, and what the manufacturer website said it was. He said theyd take a look at it but I had to l leave my car with them for a couple hours. Wasnt an option at the time, so I asked about booking an appointment later on so I could wait for it, or at least have a ride planned. The employee took extreme offense to this like I was demanding they looked at it right away. Telling me they have projects right now that were scheduled earlier, and continued treating me like a 5 year, explaining how a list works.After he was done explaining to me how appointments get priority and other obvious things, he asked me if I wanted to schedule an appointment later when we dont have cars in the bay that booked appointments earlier. That was exactly what I asked for in the first place when he took it the wrong way. I work in a similar industry, so I know how things work. I wasnt expecting them to drop everything and help me-- thus, I can honestly say I did not have a tone, attitude, or anything that would have gotten this type of response.Due to the poor customer service, I said no thank you to the appointment question. The employee was visibly (still) angry, said okay and walked away. As I was walking out the door, the same employee had quite a nice curse word to call me. Since he had already closed the door to the back by the time I turned around, I asked another employee if I heard the first employee correctly. He said no he was talking to someone in the back. Yeah, I dont believe that one.I hope they go back to the old shop mindset of caring about customers. The guy up front could have just been having a bad day, but no reason to take it out on a customer who was willing to pay.
Want your time wasted? Schedule an appt and come just so you can wait and wait...After waiting a half hour and he still had not begun, the dark hair guy kept helping people who walked in AFTER me so they could make money. I even told him I had things I needed to do and was told it would take one hour. He could care less. And he was the only one there.This place sucks. Check out our better options in Flag ...people who know how to treat people and actually value paying customers.

Ive been to a lot of places for car audio equipment and installations and going to Sounds Good was by far the best experience Ive had. James runs a great business. He has been doing car audio for 20 years. He works with you directly and is up front with you. He will tell you what you need for the results youre looking for (not try to sell you on something you dont need) and give you options with different price ranges if possible. If youre a college student like myself (or someone who simply values a good deal) and you dont have the money to throw around at over priced installs, are not willing to be sold on something you dont actually need, but still want good quality work and product this is the place to go. Sounds Good is the only place in Flagstaff with fair priced car audio installations and a selection of only the best quality car audio product. Their location can be hard to find but all you have to do is give them a call!

Bottom line, already charged my card almost $2,500.00 for the entire two week trip, Im 3 days in with a unit I cannot do anything but drive. Paying for hotels every night for the rest of the trip. When I return home Ill take the time to write complete reviews at every consumer advocacy group/site I can find. I promused James i would find every single one possible. He didnt seem to mind at all because, of course, he already got paid! (Almost forgot, what we now lovingly refer to as, The Death Machine, needs an alignment so badly that we were pulled over by a TX cop to warn us of safety hazard)
Always a very good experience. They have worked on two of my vehicles and have always done a very good job installing what I request. Current vehicle has new deck and sxm radio and 10 sub in custom-molded fiberglass enclosure (looks like a factory-installed upgrade) with dedicated amp, plus viper w/remote start and smartstart. Ive had minor issues with the sxm but is not due to the way it was installed; it has a design flaw that caused random antenna faults, but progressively got worse to the point where I had no signal. Quick fix by James, and its been flawless ever since.
