When my PC started acting up, and I realized that it was beyond my ability to fix, I really didnt want to take it to a big box store. I have had nothing but good experiences with small businesses in the past, and have always been satisfied with the results they provide. Until now. When I dropped my PC off I sat down with the owner and we discussed the problems I was having. He took notes on our conversation and got my contact info. The next day, to my surprise and (at the time) delight, I received a call informing me that he had finished working on my computer and that I could come and pick it up, which I did. When I booted it up at home, I quickly realized that neither of the issues for which I had brought it in had been resolved. I checked the invoice I had received and found, much to my confusion and frustration, that not only were the issues for which I had brought the PC in entirely absent, but the only actions performed on my computer were intended to address an issue I was NOT having.I sent a message through the Findlay Business Systems website asking for clarification and if anything could be done about the situation. When I received no reply after a few days, I placed a phone call to Findlay Business Systems which was...frustrating, to say the least. When I voiced my concerns over the invoice and actions taken on my PC, the owner insisted that he had not encountered the problems for which I brought the computer to him in the first place. Not knowing what to do at this point, I asked if there was anything he could do for me about this situation. He offered to take another look at my PC (for the problem on the invoice, NOT the ones I actually needed fixed), but given the ineptitude that had already been displayed during our transaction, I informed him that I was not at all comfortable with that course of action. I suggested a partial refund, to which he agreed, and then asked him if he still had the contact information I provided him at our initial meeting. He said that he probably did somewhere. When I asked him to confirm that he did indeed have my information, he promptly hung up.I am disappointed and frustrated with my experience. Though I realize that Findlay Business Systems has been around for quite some time, based on my experience I cannot in good conscience recommend them to anyone who wants their PC in good hands.
Fred has been in the computer business for over 30 years and it shows. Any problem you have big or small with any computer, he can and will take care for you. He also does repairs, new updates and can set you up everything you need for personal or business needs. Highly recommended.
Great staff, great solutions
