The best coffee Ive had in a long time. Definitely a must for true coffee lovers. Wonderful atmosphere. It has a small coffee house feel, but with plenty of seating inside and out. I also had a bagel egg and cheese. The bagel was so soft and fresh, that I thought they had accidentally given me a croissant before I got the package open.

Enjoyed my Latte, it was a great find for me, the books added interest and a surprise for us. A few miles off 75 hwy was a nice break. I ordered a Caprese sandwich it was great!I will say if you like your Latte extra hot it can be requested. The Staff is very kind and welcoming. We will be returning and left satisfied. We found a new coffee house to stop by during our travels.Yes, this is a rustic vintage bldg it adds to the charm and venture.

I’ve been going here for nearly 20 years, so that should say enough! It’s not as cozy as it used to be, but the food and drinks are consistently good, and they roast their own beans. I wish they had a better online presence. It’s hard to keep track of their hours, closures, etc. The walk-up window was a great thing to come out of the pandemic! A favorite of mine since college, always nice to stop in for an Americano and feel a little like being back on campus. Always very supportive of local causes as well, suck as Open Arms Wake Up Hancock campaign. Were very fortunate to have an authentic coffee house like this in Findlay.

This coffee house is a center-point of the community. I went here consistently throughout my undergrad years, and its days like today where the weather is waxing to fall, that I miss being seated by the window with the heat fogging the view to a rainy night. Their tea always left me feeling comfortable, and their food was always perfect. If I ever come back, this will be the first place I return to. Hopefully during the fall.

Fantastic atmosphere and good vibes. The barista was knowledgeable and helped find a good drink for my mom and I. Both drinks were made quickly yet still high in quality. Greatly prefer it to Starbucks!

This place deserves 5-stars due to its atmosphere alone. The cafe is cozy and comfortable with shelves full of books and plenty of places to sit. There are also plenty of outlets and free wifi if you want to come and get some work done.On top of that, the coffee was absolutely phenomenal as well. I got a cup of their house brewed coffee and was very pleasantly surprised. It came out of a carafe so, I have to admit, I was a little skeptical, but I recant of my disbelief in dust and ashes. It was wonderful.Additionally, the prices are really quite reasonable. I bought a 16oz cup of their house coffee (more than I typically drink in one sitting) and only paid a little under $3 for it. Thats far less than what I would have paid at Starbucks.Finally, the staff was great. All of them were very nice, helpful and delivered my order very quickly.The one downside of the George House is that theres definitely a bullet hole in the window which was slightly disconcerting. But hey, they have good coffee, so who am I to complain?Will definitely be returning here next time Im in town.

Theyve got the good tea! I enjoyed my cup and the cinnamon roll was sinfully delicious. You can take it home, or they can warm it up for you. The large selection of coffee, teas, and books with plenty of places to sit make this a staple of Findlay.

Awesome lowkey coffee house with amazing food created in-house and by local vendors. I commonly see raw honey, spices, art for sale, nutritious drinks in a fridge, and of course, their huge selection of coffee styles and flavors. They commonly play music over the speakers, so if youre a student trying to study, you may want to opt for an outdoor table, or a table inside their newly acquired room to the North (which may or may not have speakers, too). Last time I was there, they have a stamp-card system for loyal coffee fans. They do have a small fee for using debit cards. They ask you before adding whipped topping to your drink, which is nice. I believe they do have Wi-Fi available to customers. They also have a huge area upstairs, filled with apartments, so if youre looking for a chill place to rent, you may want to ask about them. Love everything about George House.

I’ve been coming to George House for over twenty years and have failed to leave a much needed review! Over the years, the decor of the coffee shop has changed, but the consistency of product, friendly staff, and exceptional service have remained at the forefront. Whether I’m spending time with a friend, using the space as a mobile office, hosting a meeting, or enjoying the weekend with my children there, I can always expect a friendly atmosphere. George House is by far my favorite coffee shop in Findlay. Even when I go out of town, I fail to find an atmosphere that compares. The management, baristas, and products are top notch!

Love this little shop. Chill atmosphere, great coffee and you are surrounded by books and art while you sip. Wonderful find in Findlay. Will definitely return when I am in town!

This is a nice place to come and get some coffee or tea, sip and read or have a quiet conversation with a friend. They have an outdoor seating area for summer and ample space inside to relax and enjoy a tea or a snack and work a little, or just browse a news feed on your tablet.

Says open til 8pm online but when you go there its says 3pm on the Chalk Board thus wasting my time driving there 🙄.

George House is one of my daughters favorite spots for our Daddy-Daughter Dates. She almost always orders a Mango Bubble Tea with extra bubbles. When Tyler or Ben are working the register, they always make a point to ask, extra bubbles, right? As a teenager, she gets slightly embarrassed at the question; however, it still makes her smile and feel special. Thank you, George House for always giving us a pleasant experience!

Nice little book cafe. Usually pretty quiet and full of studying students. Lots of snacks to enjoy with your coffee. They sell grounds to go and its the only grind I use at home. The Australian ice is fantastic. Parking is usually pretty crowded due to the apartments above it, but its all angle in so its nothing too difficult. Plenty of on-street parking on main st.

Visit here often. Great variety on menu, active upbeat social environment. Love their chai tea, sandwiches, cookies, chips, people. Have a fun time there on every visit! Ben the Mgr always upbeat and smiling with great sense of humor.

Baristas are always cool and willing to help answer questions. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. I have never had a bad experience coming here. If something is wrong, they fix it for you immediately. Its nice to talk and hang out after (or before) a stressful day.

I am always greeted by friendly staff whenever I visit this small, local cafe! I love the flavors of drinks to choose from, as well as the natural selections of foods and soaps! However, I would prefer more quieter music. The music is usually too loud for my preference.

Theyre coffee is great! The atmosphere is amazing! But the cashier with the blue hair was more than rude. When asked about a drink she openly mocked me to her fellow employee...not a way to treat a costumer!

I love the vast selection of tea they offer, however, they can be a bit pricey. As for service...we asked what the smoothie flavors were and the employee at the counter said you know...the normals. The atmosphere was very cozy and felt comfortable to walk into.

Amazing coffee shop to go to! The place is warm, homey, and the staff treat you as friends. So far everything I have ordered has met all expectations and has left me wanting more. Plus, from my experience, the WiFi has always been fast and reliable. There are also many nooks and crannies to sit and study in which is very nice. There are tons of books everywhere and many different types of seating. Highly recommended​ place to go!

It is a nice cozy place to get a cup of coffee. You can easily sit and work alone, I recommend headphones. You can meet a friend for coffee as well. I normally get black coffee, so I cant comment on the specialty drinks.

Good study place but not library quiet. Tea and coffee selection seemed good enough. Havent tried any food here yet but looks to be on the healthy side. Cool little spice shop and old books available for reading or buying.

Havent been here in years until today, the Australian Ice is the bomb, my favorite to be honest. Also the guys that work there have a friendly personality!

If you are passing through or live nearby, this is a great place to stop and sip a coffee or flavored tea. We are quite partial to their hot chocolate with a whole list of flavors to add. Hannah is our favorite barista, and Ben the manager is great to chat with about the local happenings.

Been going here for years ! Its only gotten better with time. Never a bad experience. A good mixed crowd mostly college students and younger people around the front. Some tables in the back where some older folks like to sit. Many options to choose from Australian chai is my favorite no whip though :)

Books, legitimate simple, but good sandwiches and of course delicious coffee drinks.Dont forget to add whipped cream, its home made.

Great expresso shake. They also had live music and an atmosphere that this is a cool hangout. Old books everywhere which is cool.

Their sandwiches are unusual combinations and not things that I would necessarily put together, but they always taste great!

This is definitely a huge part of the local Findlay terms of like college students and such. Its a good place youre trying to get some work done and just sit up on hours its actually rather cozy There Are Places were you also you can just settle a close yourself off from everyone else and kind of feel like your own little place specially surrounded by all those books.

A really great place to lie low and relax, while doing some studying or homework. Always get the Australian Ice, and the staff has yet to fail me. Great job

Just dont look up when ordering your coffee, the ceiling tiles look like theyre about to fall in! But anyways, they can make a mean espresso and its always busy and everyone has a good time. You can take a book of the shelf and read while enjoying your beverage too

GH is a pretty good place that does some things really well and other things quite poorly. They have an excellent selection of Republic of Tea, dried fruit, and spices. There is also have a great little used bookstore and a neat look and feel to the place. Unfortunately, if one doesnt visit during the off times one will probably be stuck waiting in line for 15-25 minutes. Also, if they arent busy, one might have to ask the coffee pots be replaced with fresh ones.

Great local coffee house. I recommend getting the Monkey Tail on ice with whipped cream, which is a banana-y coffee drink. They also just started a rewards/punch card for your visits towards a free drink.

I am very happy with the soap and honey that I bought here. The selection of teas, coffees and other beverages is amazing. When ever I am in a sad or angsty mood I can always calm down with a Chai milkshake and sit surrounded by the smells of tea and old books. Its a wonderful atmosphere to write, study, or meet up with an old friend. The staff is happy to help and very knowledgeable about what they make and serve. Dont feel bad if you cant decide what to get. Its all delicious.

You know with todays kuregs we get fresh coffee and there should be no excuse not to make fresh coffee at a coffee shop. This place keeps coffee in a thermos. If I wanted 2 hour old coffee Id go to circle k. circle k has way more variety. One thing this place has is great coffee date atmosphere and close to the University. Please make on demand coffee and put in more coffee grounds when you make it. Dishwater has more flavor.

Its a great place to sit and talk with friends. But their coffee on the other hand is lacking COFFEE. I dont know the name of this drink but it had Tiramisu and cheesecake flavoring I asked for frappe and I got to drink in a regula hot coffee cup with the Hot Coffee Lid. Could not tast any coffee in it.The only way I could drink it was with the coffee stirrer. My husband drink all it was warm milk with flavoring no extra shot of espresso no coffee what so ever. The Baristas could stand to be a little bit nicer and not have an attitude when asking a question about a drink.
