Store looks clean and very orderly, meat dept looks good, and the hot food - especially the grilled whole chicken are outstanding.

Awesome whole grilled chicken on the weekends but now they won’t include the wings. Same price but now they’re keeping the wings for bulk orders or to sell separately. 👎

Wow. So my wife and I work driving along and saw this Barbecue on the side of the road and got a smell of it awesome had to pull over and get some chicken we go inside the store and wow it was incredible totally organized super clean I mean really super clean like probably the cleanest Ive ever seen any store great produce meat counter is awesome I was pleasantly surprised when in the area I will definitely be shopping here highly recommended to anybody

This place used to be good 3 years ago. Moved away but had a chance to stop by today. The customer service was awful, they skipped me in line. The lady who skipped us continued to mad dog us while we waited. I figured the meal would be worth the disrespect. Complained but was dismissed. The chicken was not good, tortillas were cardboard and not made from scratch like before. Watery beans and old dry rice. Overall a bad expierance, food and service. Sad. They get one star for the agua fresco alone.

Worth the drive on a weekend to pick up grilled chicken straight from grill. I come for the mini restaurant inside. Their menu is fully stocked with the traditional tamales, tacos and pozole. The family chicken combo meal is such a steel and way more delicious than the chain restaurants. Easy to spot off the main road. Follow the smoke signal and heavenly aroma. Absolutely recommend.

Ive seen them cooking chicken outside on many occasions. It always looks so good. But because Im in a big truck and usually in a hurry to get to Oxnard, Ive never been able to stop. One day.... One day....

Whenever we go to Ventura to visit my son, we look at the roast chickens.This time we stopped, and we made it to take away, but when we saw that it had no plates, we went back ... I explained that I needed 2 paper plates, showing them the bag that I bought, I answer that they did not have and that they did not give.The food is good, but the service is not good! .What do you think?.
