Instead of telling you youre picking up your prescription too early. Pharmacist lied and said its an insurance issue. Had to call my insurance company to find out it was a Walgreens issue. Seriously?
Worst manager ever!! Worst ran store also. This makes the third time. Walmart was cheaper for the Halloween candy but since they had buy one get one 40 percent off plus in store pick up 15 percent off, I fell for their scam again. They say they cant find the second part of the order and had to refund it. Yeah, so no deal and paid 8 dollars more than walmart for one bag of candy. They should of given me one off the shelf that was on the sale. But nope the rude manager didnt offer this. Im done falling for the scam because this is the second time in 3 months and the 3rd time in 6 at only this store. Only reason people shop at walgreens because of deala, the prices are at least a 3x mark up compared to other stores
Was in this store today..the employees @ this store are SO rude. They act like they dont want to help you( which they probably really dont want to help) The management really needs to speck to them about this..pls pls go to Desoro Walgreens instrad of this Festus one..Employees there are very helpful & nice!!
Wonderful personal staff. No waiting in long lines. Ive shopped in the festus store for over 15 years & always been treated very well. Plus pharmacists are always ready to answer any and all questions.
Not actually open 24 hours when its closed from 1:30am-2am everyday
Nice atmosphere clean store and friendly people
I like Walgreens. Its the only pharmacy I use
Youll never wait less than 45 minutes in this drive thru. And, to top is- the app will say your script is ready even when they dont have it ready. They will send you without syringes for your kids meds. And, the new Walgreens pickup? Yeah...what a joke. You have to sit there in line while a manager has to be called to get your stuff off the shelf meanwhile the woman at the window (Carlyle) is less than friendly, looks miserable & hates her job.
Drive thru wait times are horrible. Have tried to get meds for last week every day and the wait times have been over 30 mins, over an hour or more. Please get quicker drive thru staff or more staff to provide quicker service to those waiting in drive thru.
I always have a good experience at this Walgreens. I am there at least three times a week and they’re all courteous and willing to help with anything
Always have what I need
Some of the pharmacy staff can be rude on certain days, like today whoever was answering the phone was very short with me and at the end of conversation instead of have a good night or thanks for calling Walgreens she said bye in a sour almost annoyed teen anger tone. Unfortunately the prescription industry is highly monopolized and a complaint would likely not be addressed.
Photo personnel is a joke. Manager was useless other than being able to say Im sorry, I dont know what happened. Thanks Kaitlynn. Stellar customer service when your employees have an IQ of 4. Making it right must not have been taught to you by your Im sure fantastic parents!
Id highly recommend filling prescriptions at some other pharmacy. Even if it cost a little more. The service is awful at the pharmacy, Its a comedy of errors at this place. Couldnt get the simplest of prescriptions filled here. First and last visit. If you live in Festus, use CVS or it would even be worth your time to drive into Hillsboro and use the Healthmart Pharmacy on business 21.
Had been using this pharmacy for years, then started to have issues. They overcharge for medications! Found out they were charging me $104 for a compound, when Medicine Shoppe in Pevely would only charge $49.95. They also didnt even have part of the compound there and didnt know when theyd get it in to make my medication. Service can be slow too. Now that I know they price gouge, I switched to another local pharmacy. The nicest thing they did was send my prescription elsewhere to someone who actually had all the medications in stock.
Store is very well stocked. The pharmacy is very helpful but could be a bit faster when filling prescriptions. Overall, I try to always go to this location when I need something.
Dont let the negative comments from some of these people fool you, this location has some of the most hardworking employees Ive ever seen!
I’ve had maybe 3 times in the past year that my prescription has been filled accurately and without an issue. The customer service here is nonexistent and the staff is incompetent. Don’t understand how they can be so negligent with medications when it’s literally their job. Won’t ever be using them again.
As far as 24 hour stores, Walgreens is far superior to a typical convenience store, e.g. 7-Eleven. Much better selection and far superior prices. Unless you need gas, I would go to Walgreens for everything else.
The pharmacy staff is awesome!! They always make me feel welcomed, and always help me with what I may need! Highly recommend. Thank you pharmacy staff!!!
This location is absolutely horrible. Its a fight every.single.month to get my prescriptions filled timely and accurately, and most of the pharmacy staff have no concept of customer service. The most recent example being on June 8, 2019 when I tried to refill my insulin at Festus Walgreens. All day my app kept saying my prescription was Delayed - No Action Needed. Finally I called up there to see what was going on, and the pharmacist himself, not a technician, told me THEY ARE OUT OF INSULIN. They wont have any until sometime on Monday and, if I want it, Ill have to drive to the Kennerly location. What pharmacy RUNS OUT of insulin?!? And, more importantly, if I want it? No, I dont want it, but that doesnt change the fact that Ill die without it!! I just couldnt believe what I was hearing! I promptly switched pharmacies.
Went to pick up my young sons prescription that the pediatricians office called in, only to find the store was closed “due to rebooting” it said on the door. Door locked..no call no nothing. A worker going in, I questioned and she said store would probably be shut down for over 24 hrs?! My son was ill but thank goodness he wasn’t in serious need of medicine, like many others could be. Very unprofessional and shows they don’t care about their customers. I have already switched my entire family to another pharmacy. This was it for us!
This is the second time in the past 6 months that they have shorted us on my husbands insulin pen. I dont see how they can be so negligent with something so serious. The first time they insisted we were lying, but there was only one pen in the bag. The same thing just happened again today. Looks like we will be making a change to CVS and contacting their corporate office.
I downloaded the Walgreens app for Android and within 5 minutes head over a hundred prints ordered that I uploaded from my email to the app. With the discounts and promo codes it was very convenient and affordable!
Always only one lane open and super slow to get out but other than that pretty good.
Not only is the store a disappointment but so is the pharmacy. I drive an extra 15 min to go to another location rather than stop at this store for anything. The store employees are rude and hateful, the hate when you use any amount of coupons. Your only allowed to get 4 items of each type when on sale, which makes no sense when they have sales that are buy 2 get 1 free. The store manager it’s fairly nice but not the brightest when it comes to sales and making money. The pharmacy is a joke, they never have what you need. They lack communication and timelines. The female pharmacist is just plain rude and always has an additide.I would not refer this location nor do I ever go back for anything. The extra 15 min drive is well worth it compared to dealing with this store.
Great pharmacy. Never have had any problems with them. They care about their customers.
Dreadfully slow. Nothing but unprofessional kids working the pharmacy. Very frustrating.
Customer service is awful, Ive been a loyal customer if the pharmarcy & store for many years. The change in their policies, balance rewards program, and honestly the awful customer service I have received in all departments, they have lost me as customer.
Great experience! Manager and staff were amazing!Thank you!
Very friendly staff, especially the pharmacy department! Walgreens is usually a great chain to do business anyway with but this store sets a really high standard for others to follow.
Horrible service from Christy in the pharmacy! She was rude one time when I first got there and then completely rude and I ended up leaving without my medivime. Horrible experience I will never go back again!!!! People that get perscriptions are sick sometimes that place had no compassion for that!!! I will reccrecomto everyone I know not to goto this pharmacy! It is too bad my first exp was a delight and ever since then it has not been good every time has gotten worse!!!
Literally the shittiest Walgreens ever existing. Horrible customer service! Youre better off going to CVS
Customer service sucks, I refuse to shop there. I walked in on an associate was talking bad about me, she asked if she could help me and I told her I was the customer who called and who she was talking about. She was very hateful and didnt want to help me. I walked out of the store without purchasing anything and she was still running her mouth as I walked out the door. I will drive out of my way to never shop there.
Prescriptions typically aren’t ready when they tell you they will be.
Worst Pharmacy EVER. They deleted my prescription out of the system. Then tried to act like I was mistaken and dropped it off at a different pharmacy. So I went home and luckily found the RX number in my email and they still found a way to make an excuse about the situation. All while delaying my medication. Ill be switching to another pharmacy.
We live in So IL, but my wife has been coming to Barnes Jewish Hospital / Siteman Cancer Center since 2008 for treatment of her ovarian cancer. Its a 126 miles each way from our house, so when she has consecutive days of treatment, we stay with her cousin who lives just south of St Louis. The wifes cancer has been progressing and she has recently had PleurX drain surgically implanted to drain the fluid from around her lungs. Recently shes been in a lot of pain, and I have convinced her that theres no shame in taking the prescribed pain pills to help her cope. She got a new prescription from her oncologist this afternoon, and instead of staying at the mega hospitals pharmacy to fill the prescription, we hurried out of town to beat the evening rush hour. When we went to the Walgreens in Festus, MO to get the prescription filled (5mg oxycodone) we were lied to, treated like common criminals and then denied the prescription. When I submitted the prescription with my wifes medicare card, I was told I needed ID. At first I misunderstood and thought they expected me to go back outside and get my wifes ID, but then figured out they wanted mine. No problem, of course I have ID. They told me it would be about 30 minutes to fill the prescription, so we left and went a couple miles away to eat dinner. As we were pulling into the restaurant parking lot, Walgreens called my wifes cell phone and told her because of a DEA law they couldnt fill out prescription. This is obviously a lie. DEA isnt legislative, its law enforcement. When I went back to Walgreens to retrieve the prescription and confront the lie, the tech and then the pharmacist stated its not a law, but Walgreens policy to not serve pharmacy customers who reside more than a few miles away (actually I think they said 25) and I needed to drive over 100 miles to my home town to get the prescription filled. I understand that oxycodone is highly abused, but if youre too afraid to dispense it, maybe you should just say so and not carry it at all. I dont appreciate essentially being accused of being a drug addict, and I really dont appreciate having to sit next to my wife while she cries in pain that could have easily been brought up a manageable level. The policy and conduct of both Walgreens and its employees is outrageous and discriminatory. The pharmacist made no attempt to check the validity of the prescription. All she had to do is make a phone call or even look at my wife and see the half inch wide drain tube covered by bloody gauze pads coming out of her abdomen.
Clean .. well stocked shelves
Close to home & employees are very respectful
Some times to busy to answer questioms.
The worst walgreens pharmacy ever...
Amazing staff!!!
