I recently took my car to this location and I received the best of the best. The men on staff are very helpful and they got my car done in a matter of days. I was calling around for days until I call this location who informed they could get me in that following week.

Excellent work on my brand new paint job. I recommend Kurt and his teams service any day of the week. They took a little longer than I expected but because they did such a great job with the final result I cant give them any less than a 5/5.

Ive been coming here for over 20 years and have always been satisfied with the quality of work. They did extensive panel repair and replacement on my 69 Grand Prix and painted the entire car and the work was excellent. Ive referred family and friends here who were also satisfied customers.

I paid $445 to get driver side painted on a 2012 Ford Taurus mid grade package.but the car came out great I wish it would of had alittle less waves in the clear coat still had a good shine to it tho but thats what wet sanding and buffing Is for right. every other quote I got was $800 for the same job they did such a good job Ive since took 2 more vehicles to them.i do most of the work myself changing doors,fenders,hoods......... to keep cost down u can haggle them down a few bucks thats y they will always get my business

My actual rating is a -10...Set a appointment for services Repair and paint... communicated with the facility about my appointment to finally be told 24 hours before the date of services they did not have the staff available to complete my estimate.

Only reason this review is not a five star is I got my car back a few days after the original estimate. Other than that, work done was great! Car looks like new. Will definitely recommend to others.

I’ve taken my wife vehicle to Maaco on March 22nd and they called me to pick up vehicle on Thursday. When I got there the work they’ve done was terrible. Now my wife drives a 2020 Mercedes Benz brand new the imperfection you can see on the vehicle. I’m not sure why they called me to come pick it up when they notice the work was terrible themselves. I asked for them to keep it and fix it and Kirk said okay I will fix it and I’ll have it ready tomorrow. My wife and I picked it up on Friday still the same way nothing changed. So my wife and I requested to take vehicle for the weekend because she needed the vehicle for a that Monday. She dropped off vehicle on that Tuesday March 30th still no calls from Maaco stating the vehicle has been fixed no communication at all. It’s now Friday April 2nd and I’m sure my vehicle still look the same. I’ve given my money to Kirk thinking it was finished and done right. I will never take our vehicles here again. The service and the professionalism is horrible. Let me not forget they didn’t cover my wife’s door handles so it’s paint all over the driver and passenger door on the driver side. Air pockets in the paint which they never buffed out the imperfection. The Black paint look very dull just bad. I will not recommend this company to anyone.

I scratched my car pulling in on the side of the house and took it to maaco. They told me 2 days it would be ready and in 2 days it was and you can see absolutely no sign of any scratch, they were very friendly and my car looks great.

Gordon was awesome! He and the crew did an excellent job on my dent and paint and even did a little cleanup on two other very small areas no charge. They were professional and on time and charged the least compared to 3 other estimates.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody I had my rusty rocker panels repaired less than one year ago and strike 1: the paint wasn’t the same colormy car is pearl white and that’s not pearl white Strike 2: the paint wasn’t even smoothly applied you can see the air bubbles in the paint, strike 3 not even a YEAR LATER THE RUST IS BACK.

How are you guys going to inconvenience me, when its you guys fault for missing a spot on my car that i paid to have done. i feel that my car should have been a priority, being that i paid you all my money up front. Youre not being honest with your customers. Ill update, when my car is complete smh.

They did a wonderful job and completed my car in 4 days when I was told by other places it would take weeks.

Normally, I have a good experience at this location but unfortunately I did not have a good experience on my last visit. Picked my car up and immediately noticed dents still on my door. They painted over the dents to blend the work. This is not what was described to me when receiving an estimate. Very disappointed in the quality of work.

I gave the general rating upon my service so far my car isnt ready so as soon as I get it back I will change my review but as far as the service so far so goodUpdate: I regretfully had to bring the stars down when I had to decrease my rating upon viewing my terrain my bumper is misaligned Im missing a tire shield and I believe a shield that goes under my bumper they had my car for two weeks which caused me to miss two important family events one of which was medical after I made them aware of my disappointment they were accommodating I felt I should had gotten some of my money back to make up for my inconvenienceon top of them having my car for so long for not finishing my car when they said they were going to be done and still giving me a incomplete repair I paid over 4300 dollars that was not easy to come by only to see this and I was denied some of my money back I will say this theyre going to fix the problem but not fulfill my request so although Im relieved my truck is fixed I am still disappointed

I went in discouraged by other body shops. Gordon gave me a unbelievable quote!!!! I met Curt when I dropped the car off what a wonderful sense of humor service was great even after staying late to accommodate me! They even opened back up for things I forgot to get out of the car!!!! The car was ready when promised!!!! What a joy that was.... As for the work, Im happy as hell.... I purchased a hood from a local junkyard to replace the original one on my car that was damaged in an accident. They painted over old rust spots on it. And the repair work on the body damage is noticeably flawed.

I had my car painted here and had it painted a different color. Took it back 4 years later to have rust spots removed. Had to take it back a month later because of one spot reappeared and they didnt match the paint they did before. I was told they couldnt match the paint and they still didnt fix the rust good. I went back a third time and was told there was no warranty on rust repair they would charge me 330.00. I paid 800.00 for the first repairs.

Fast, friendly, affordable. Brought my car in had a lot of rust. They gave me the best price out of 5 other shops. Car looks brand new!

Interesting that I’ve been asked to give a review today under the assumption that I have picked up my vehicle from Macco Ferndale. Well much to my disappointment I don’t have my car after dropping it off for paint touch ups 4 days ago. Today being Saturday. I was told I would have my car back in 2 days. I called Kirt the second day to be told my car was in the oven drying. Given that I figured Friday would be ample time to get the car back. That Friday afternoon at 4 o’clock I called to see if my vehicle was ready and after no answer we drove to the shop only to find a sign on the door stating they closed that Friday at 10:00am and would not open again until Tuesday following Labor Day. So now I am left without my vehicle for 6 days especially over a weekend when we needed this car for our holiday trip. It’s apparent that me the customer was the last thing on this business men’s mind. And because of Kirt’s lack of both communication and consideration he has lost me as a customer after knowing him and having him paint several of my vehicles.

First off I don’t write these reviews unless a business is ran poorly. I went to this shop early in the morning to have a paint job done after inside of a car accident. Keep in mind Maaco is a Full Service Collision Repair Shop. When I arrived with my tow guy, we were approached by the owner of this particular location. Very unpleasant. He refused to do business with me, because he said the tires on the vehicle were flat. I asked him if their company could replace the tires since they are a collision shop, he said no they don’t have they ability to replace tires. “Huh? So you are a full service collision shop but can’t replace the tires? Then he went on about his insurance doesn’t cover that? Sounds like this guy was having a bad day. Very poor service from the start and just a very negative demeanor.Since I was very interested in getting the car painted I asked if I could change the flat tire in his parking lot for 5 minutes. Therefore they could do the job. He said no. I said ok. Do you mind if I just leave my car here in your parking lot for a few moments while my other tow guy comes to pick up the car. He said no. He was very rude the entire time, and I feel as though he just did not want my business. I feel as though it was an underlying issue as to why he refused my business. There is no way a Full service collision shop can not replace tires. Doesn’t make any sense. In addition this place is poorly ran, and you can honestly tell that they don’t really care about their customers. I came here because it was close, but wish I would have went somewhere that customer service was more important. I own multiple businesses and I would never treat a client looking to purchase a service from me like they did. Please take heed to all the poor reviews they have gotten from other customers before considering coming to this location. Go to either Farmington Hills or the Troy location. This was a complete waste of time and money as now I have to pay for another tow to get the car taken to. Don’t waste your time. Please take my advice here.

I took my car in on Monday, November 27, 2017 and was told By Brett and Kurt (owner) that it would be ready Wednesday and I didnt even hear from them on Wednesday. When I called Wednesday, Brett told me, oh it should be ready in a few hours, I cant rush the detail shop... no call back at all. I called on Thursday morning at 8:13am and Gordon stated that he would check on the progress of my car and call me back.... Well I called and asked to speak with the owner Kurt at 2:21pm and he act as if he was so surprised that I had this experience and no one had not called me back and that he would find out this and that and give me a call back...nope all lies! He had Brett call me at 4:40pm and tell me that my car would be back before they closed at 5 and let me inform you all that I worked 35 minutes away. They have very bad customer services skills in this place and they have no problem with inconveniencing their customers at all (recommend Enterprise rental for car replacement and it was smoke filled and Ive had to take 4 breathing treatments driving that car). I would never recommend this location to anyone for the following reasons:- Liars- Incompetent- Lack of communication- Poor Customer Service

HORRIBLE PAINT JOB ON MY 2004 MERCURY MARAUDER! THE PAINT JOB WAS OK BUT THEY DIDNT COVER MY TIRES OR RIMS SO MY RIMS GOT PAINT ON THEM. THEN THEY DIDNT TELL ME SO WHEN I GOT HOME I NOTICED MY RIMS HAD PAINT ON THEM AND THEY LOOKED DULL. SO I EXAMINED THEM CLOSER AND REALIZED THEY WAS SCRATCHED AND DULL BECAUSE THEY HAD USED SANDPAPER OR SOMETHING TO GET SOME OF THE PAINT OFF THE RIMS AND DIDNT TELL ME!!!SO ON A SCALE OF 1 T0 10 I GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE -5. FOR NOT TELLING ME AND TRYING TO FIX IT IN A GHETTO WAY . NOW MY ALUMNINUM RIMS ARE ALL SCRATCHED UP!!!!

Poor, poor customer service! I will never go to the Ferndale location again! Firstly, they Called me twice saying they have bad news because the parts that they ordered cost more after i paid them in full! Secondly, The men that work there are condescending and they just don’t care to work with you or act as if they understand. Customer services is very huge to me and they just don’t have it! Honestly, I wish i would have went to the 8 miLe location in Detroit. I was uncertain about going there but i really should been skeptical about the Ferndale location. Thirdly, Just Terrible!!!

Terrible job I wouldnt recommend them to anyone not to even paint a bicycle. I paid 2 grand for nothing. I got a new tail gate thru them for my truck and they painted it, the tailgate had a cap on it they didnt remove it when painting the tailgate you can see that the tailgate was originally Red under the tail gate cap. It would took them two seconds to remove the tailgate cap to paint the spot it covered. Also my hood paid them to remove all dings only removed the biggest one.

Worse service ever on earth. Please dont go to this shop. Terrible paint service. They dont remove rust they will lie and sat they will to get your money rust will come back after a week. Worst customer service ever and they dont honor there warranty. Worse maaco ever.

Went to the ferndale location for a basic paint job vehicle was working fine got my vehicle back nothing was working right in my vehicle windows wouldnt roll up interior lights wouldnt go off and gauges wouldnt come on. I wouldnt recommend any body to go to this location

I normally get work done by this location. Great staff and work but this very recent job, I wasnt too appeased. Not the work itself but the cleaning up method was non existent. Primer and sanding shavings and dust were left all along the interior of my car. A huge mess and head ache. Cmon guys. U need to step ur game up

They over charged me majorly for a half a## Paint Job. I will be persuing a lawsuit against this place for such a horrible paint job done on my precious car. PLEASE DO NOT GET YOUR CAR PAINTED BY MAACO.

These guys literally suck. I got my car painted and had 2 year warranty on it and in the beginning they tell you if ur not happy with anything bring it bak and when i did they told me we cant fix any of the orange peel. We only cover the part where paint peels. I filed a law suit against them. Hopefully they will stop cheating people after this. They dont put any primer, they just sand roughly and paint right over it. Everywhere i took my car they said its a shitty paintjob. Guys they just want your money trust me once they have the money they dont care about your car

Horrible. The part that I had replaced began to come off 2 months later. I took the care back and the guy insisted that I damaged it. Which I did not, its clear that theres no way I could have done this. Dont waste your time or money here. Bite the bullet and go to the dealership.
