Small store compared to other Walmarts I have been in. However i found what i needed. The greeter didnt even smile or say Hello to us, and i heard customers complaining not enough help however i found what i needed. My checker was great.

Seen one youve seen them all. May not have exactly what you wanted, but theres always a substitute!

This Walmart is fascinating! It’s not a super Walmart. The employees are nice, the store is old and dirty, but it has what one would need for island life. Located on the island, it’s convenient to the beach, marina, or fishing docks. I’d recommend this Walmart.

We had left the beach and pulled in to Walmart parking lot to allow our 15 year son to purchase additional items he forgot to bring. We dropped him off at the door and pulled away to wait on him to return out front. We drove out towards the end of the parking lot to wait. The store manager white female walked behind used her cellphone taking a picture of my tag. Im always watching my surroundings and watched her in my mirrors. After she took the picture I asked her why she took pictures of my truck and tag. She said because I was park across empty parking spots. I told her we are waiting for our son to exit her store. Her Walmart badge said store manager. Fearing that this (Karen) was the mgr we was very concerned why our son was taking so long. Then I remembered I told him to take his backpack with so when he purchased new underwear he could change clothes in the restroom. Fearing the actions of the store manager. We parked and quickly went in see what was taking him so long. Well well well one register for cash payment only and he said he has been standing in line waiting to pay. The store manager was outside walking around smoking a cigarette being unprofessional, unproductive and so unnecessary.

Few walmart stores like this very well stocked and great prices but here there is almost everything

My favorite Walmart customer service is outstanding.

Bad store, bad employees, bad management. why only have one checkout that can take cash? and it’s the 20 items or less?? cmon, y’all are managing a store not a lemonade stand. it’s not rocket science to figure out how to correctly bag stuff. literally might as well just let the shopper do it themselves. there’s at least 8 checkouts and only one is open. disappointing, don’t go here.(also everything in the gardening section is under watered and root bound- literally just don’t even waste your time. go to the supercenter off of state road instead.)

Just went to the Fernandina Beach island Walmart. Usually, I get superb service and selection but not today. I went in at 530pm today to return some items I bought recently. There was no one at customer service. I was told the person was on dinner break, did I want to wait 30 minutes. I said no. Then I was told to come back later or another day. Unbelievably unsatisfactory! Open for sales but not returns. 😞

Its WalMart. I dont have high expectations. Their prices are low enough to skate by with employees who seem to always wish they were somewhere else. Going to Walmart is like a city safari. You never know what youre going to see and always too far away from help when you need it!!

Run of the mill Wal Mart marketplace. Did not have any hot foods of baked goods and their selection of refrigerated items was very limited.

Indoor gardening section was well kept, don’t understand $5 for a dead Orchid. Outdoor gardening section was unmanaged and a hot mess. Dead plants, semi dead plants, no employees at all. Some good plants, but most were dying. Inside of the store was also dingy, cheap and bad. I hate the self checkout, mostly avoid this store. Don’t go here.

It not a Super WalMart but its convenient not having to leave the island everytime you need something like basic household items, diapers, personal care, etc.

I go here at least every other week to pick up my grocery order. Its nice not to have to go in.:)

Went in found what I wanted and left. Most of the time I just walk around aimlessly till I find the perfect thing. If I need help it can sometimes be hard to find, but usually find help when needed. All walmarts were better when Sam owned them. But that happens when inherited.

Its not bad. Usually pretty busy and loud but has what you need.

Old school WalMart from the 80s. But clean and somewhat well stocked.

Its not a super Walmart, so its kind of like stepping back in time. Or like a fancy KMart, if youre old enough to remember those. Its fine.

Management stinks. Waited a number of minutes for a manager to not show up. Sold me a propane tank that leaks in the back and top of the valve. Thankfully I did not light my grill with the propane tank leaking.

I dont typically shop at Walmart, but now that I have a place in Fernandina Beach (woohoo!!!) I have had occasion to stop into the Walmart on the island a couple of times. I am absolutely amazed at how helpful and caring the staff is. So convenient for picking up a cell phone charger or some kitchen supplies. I feel so welcome, and the staff makes it so easy to shop here. Its more like shopping at a local market than shopping at a large conglomerate. Im so thrilled to have this store at my doorstep. Thank you!!!

Walmart in Fernandina dont have nearly the store at Yulee. Also all the self check dont that cash, everyone dont always use charge cards.

There’s some particular employees that are very rude and unprofessional. If it was zero stars to rate I will rate zero. (On Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach)One employee that works by the front door and the exit doors Is always harassing me! Not good at all. Another one expects for me to do her job, which she yelled at me when I exited the building! How many times do I have to be yelled at and disrespected when I leave the store! This has to stop. I advise you to gather all your employees and make them understand that harassing the people is not how we treat people!
