Best steak and eggs in town! Mmmm

All I can say is YUCK!!!!! the smell of this burger turned my stomach... I couldve gone to Burger King which is right across the street which is also processed food but with a better flavor and no smell. I cant even describe the smell but its awful. I try to give any small business the benefit of the doubt but this is my first and last time here.

Great Diner fare! Wonderful roadside diner decor. A Fantastic value coupled with friendly company and employees. Whats not to like?Keep in mind the hours may be different than posted online. Today my family and I went in and noticed the hours were 7 to 3 /7 days a week which differed from online hours according to my wife.Will be back.

Ill start off by saying the service was amazing! The waitress was so friendly and made sure our drinks were always full. The menu has some great food items that other restaurants around town dont have which is nice! The meals are very reasonably priced and tasted great. I will be returning again and highly recommend dining here!

Come here every Saturday and have breakfast, great food. Waitresses always very nice, very comfy family feel. Highly recommend it!

This place was fantastic... I dont know about the other reviews here. Best small town restaurant. There food is better then half of the restaurant chains in the area. Friendly staff and great atmosphere love the sayings on the wall by the door. Great prices!

Other reviews were correct, the food was wonderful and the service was awesome. But someone mentioned that the portions were small. I got the LARGEST plate of speghetti that I have seen in ages, along with Garlic Bread, salad and a drink, all for $13!!! Thank you Family Diner!

Veggie omlette was soft, fluffy, and plenty of fillings. Hash browns, eggs, bacon were very good. Cant recommend the pancakes, they were fine, but there are better items on the menu. The English muffins were a very pleasant surprise. I think they were toasted on the grill - very nice twist. This was my second visit and Ill return.

Went to try enjoy a Sunday breakfast at about 10:00. It took a few minutes to get a seat, then about 35-40 minutes to get our drinks/food ordered (we were one of the fortunate tables that had menus right away). After another 15 minutes we were told our server had lost our ticket. Another 5 minutes after this notification we were given our drinks. Another 15 minutes we got our food.The food was a sole redeeming point of our visit. It seemed that the kitchen staff was on top of it because another table with a different server was in and out in about 25 minutes. The other side of the restaurant also seemed to be moving swiftly. On a scale of 1-5 our service was a 0. Absolutely terrible. If you get a good server I can imagine you could have a pleasant experience.

The food was terrible the biscuits and gravy were cold and tasted sour. The service is the only thing that saved this place. Dont waste your time

Great food.I had the Overstuffed Omelete it was exemplary. I totally recommend Family Diner.Non of the food was under - cooked and the service was awesome.Come give it a try.

Pretty friendly folk an good standard American food. Breakfast all-day, which ifs a major plus. Pretty easy access to the interstate too...drive past Perkins and stop here instead.

This is the first place I have ever been at where they charge you $.25 for slice of lemon in glass of water. When I bit into my burger it was raw. When I showed the waitress she told be it was not raw because there was no blood.It was totally pink and raw meat in the middle. My wifes burger was the same. I told her my health was important to me and would not eat it.WE WILL NEVER RETURN to The Family Diner in Fergus Falls, MN.It is sad because we want to support local business in Fergus.Sorry I cant give less then 1 star !

The chicken fried steak meal was absolutely delicious 😋 very crispy and taste great and the homemade potatoes were very good as well. I loved my dinner and will definitely be going back again.

Excellent service, however my breakfast burrito was quite soggy. The atmosphere is oitdated, with random items for sale throughout the restaurant, giving it a flea market like feeling. Prices are extremely affordable, yet not much value. Our table was very sticky and the a/c was not working; it was not a comfortable visit.

The server was very nice. Thats the best thing I can say. He was new, so he didnt know anything, which is fine, but an experienced server should have helped him.The food.... What a disappointment! The salad was the best thing we had and it was obviously bagged store bought. I asked for onions on my salad. This is the first place that has ever refused to put onions on a simple side salad.Steak Burger dinner-dry. Fries-gross. Sad face.The mozzarella sticks were dry as dirt. The sauce that came with them was the same meat sauce that came with the spaghetti dinner. Thats weird. Ive never heard of meat sauce with mozzarella sticks. The sticks were gross and dry by then selves.The cheese quesadilla was so dry and gross, my wife took one bite and that was it. She left thre rest.The jalapeno poppers were OK, but had a weird taste to them.My daughter ordered the shrimp basket with fish and chicken strips. Right before he brought it out, he told her there was no fish. Whats up with that?I could go on about two other meals, but I think you get the point.The place has a thrift store feel to it. They literally sell weird items you would find in grandmas house or at the good will. No joke.I wish we never went. The five of us are very unsatisfied. They had to know because we all had over half of our food left. They asked us if we wanted boxs and we declined.I cant believe they have so many good reviews.We should have went to Perkins across the street.

Sorry we have eaten there many many times and its usually good BUT. We ate there yesterday I ordered the shrimp, salad and breadstick from senior menu. My salad looked like it had been made at least a week ago and had the core from the head in there.The breadstick was deep fried. And while the 5 shrimp were tasty it was small shrimp and not worth the price. I ate the shrimp then went home and made lunch to eat. I guess it is time to look somewhere else gor lunch.

Worst dining experience of my life. First off the server spilled two whole sodas on my granddaughter, 3 of us had burgers and they were as dry as leather and tasted terrible. My daughter had a philly and the meat inside looked like it was the dried beef that comes in a jar and used for chip beef gravy, also tasted terrible. My hot beef wasnt terrible but the gravy was super salty and I found a hair in it. With the discount thet gave us for an all around crappy experience it still cost us 36 dollars. NEVER go there again!
