I purchased hp laptop Federal way office Depot on August 8th 2021.After 5 days and yesterday waiting for 90 minutes, told me its good Togo. I get home, some problem.Tech today 8-13 finally fixed the problem. And still charged me for the service. Stay away from that store they dont care about customer service at all
This store staff seems to think its an absolute joke about Covid and staff here consistently REFUSE to wear a mask correctly. Exceedingly frustrating that this company would continue to allow staff members to put the public or themselves at risk by not doing something so bloody simple as wearing a mask correctly. A store wide mandate needs to be done to make sure staff is doing there part to minimize potential exposure to the public. Staff members...very disgraceful

I took my laptop in to be cleaned part Thursday supposed to be done Friday havent been touched after the calls on Monday they finally started to clean it get a call later that evening now they need my email password( umm no I dont give that out). Today go to the store to check on it and cant sign into the IT guy told me it was all done all I needed to do was sign into my account when I got home, I get home try to sign into my laptop cant get into it even changing the password twice Im still completely locked out of my laptop, call the store to see whats going on just to be told I now have to wait another two days for the other guy to come in to see why I cant sign into it. That dont help me at all since its my main laptop I use for school.
I’ve been to this store several times before, but few days ago I had a bad experience for the first time. As I stood in line waiting to get help, the so call MANAGER saw me standing right there and she cont to do whatever she was doing on her computer wo even asking if I needed help. So I called on her ma’am please I need help here please and she said go to the next register I’m busy(RUDELY WITH ATTITUDE). But the other Reg(Samoan Lady) had a line and was very busy. While waiting for the busy Register(Nice Samoan Lady) the MANAGER was talking smack about the other customers that needed help to one of her workers. Also I had a problem with printing copies, I asked her for help and she said, nothing I can do about it. OFFICE DEPOT ya need to hire a more EXPERIENCE AND PROFESSIONAL MANAGER ASAP. Not going to this location ever again😡😡

BEWARE this locations print shop scam. Its happened to me twice now (and has never happened to me in the Tacoma shop). Each time, I placed an order on their website (because its convenient) and paid for it via paypal. I get a confirmation and receipt from paypal and from office depot. A few hours later I go to pick it up and they tell me my payments been declined and that I have to pay for it again... at a higher price (can someone tell me why the print shop prices are dramatically lower via the website as opposed to in person). I show them the receipt I received from Office Depot on line with all the exact specifications and the price I paid. They refused to price match (the manager literally said that its not his problem that they dont match, hes not in charge of the prices), and then charged me the higher price. The worst thing is that, each time, the next day my credit card received the declined paypal payment and Ive had to go through my credit card to dispute the charge.In Tacoma, I spent hundreds with the Printshop. Now I will never go back. Once would be a fluke, twice? They really need to get on top of this.
I found the chair I wanted. The associate searched for it in the store, but couldnt find the one I chose. He offered to sell me the display model, but would have to charge me an additional $12 because it is assembled. They expected me to pay MORE for a used chair. They could have made a $125 sale, but instead I walked out empty handed and will take my business elsewhere. I told this story to a friend and she had the exact same experience. Get a clue, Office Depot.
Went in and was walking around for 5 minutes and a woman at the front yelled across the store to tell me to put a mask on. I am more than happy to do so but if this is something you’re enforcing than it should be displayed or on a sign somewhere or shouldn’t I have been told this prior to entering the store instead of in such a rude manner? Also what if I didn’t have a mask readily available? Shouldn’t you be able to provide one like others store do as well? Terribly managed store.
The most UNBELIEVABLY OFFENSIVE shopping experience in 47 years!!The manager Sarah assumed I was with a young person who may or may not have been attempting to shoplift.I was thrown out of the store as she yelled thiefat the top of her lungs for everyone to hear. She tried to seize my personal property. She literally made a reference to my mother as she spewed profanities. As I left she began to mock me and then intimidated me by threatening to follow me. Her verbal abuse, threats, and intimidation bordered on assault. I will NEVER SHOP AT FEDERAL WAY OFFICE DEPOT AGAIN
First of all, everyone who works here needs some customer service training especially the older white lady who I believe is the manager or assistant manager “Tanya” Not only is she extremely passive aggressive, she threw my paper down and told me she knows who could help me, ran up to somebody started talking to them and completely forgot about me as I stood there for a couple minutes. So as I was leaving, without being helped, she has the audacity to tell me she can’t help me maybe someone else will. Keep in mind she wasn’t helping anyone else nor was she busy. Rude and unprofessional shouldn’t be someone who works in costumer service. Worst experience I’ve had at any Office Depot, stables or office supply store. I won’t be coming back, and if you don’t want to be treated like sh*t don’t go to this Office Depot.
Waited at the cash register for over 20 minutes to fix the price of an item. The employee asked the supervisor and the supervisor did not even look our way. We eventually left. TERRIBLE SUPERVISOR. PLEASE FIRE
On 2/16/53 i purchased a printer. I installed it but the it does not work. The on line support cannot figure it out. I called the store and explained the problem. He repeatedly told me he had the same problem. They have had problems with that model. He told me that someone could come to my home and set it up. He said they had to come to his place twice. Its unclear whether or not it got fixed. He said this is how the technicianearns a living. I asked if they wanted me to pay someone to come and maybe fix the problem? He said yes. I told him he was crazy. I returned the printer and received a refund without incident . My biggest concern is they sold me a printer that they knew had problems and i would have to return it. I wonder how many people fell for that scam about charging to pay someone to fix a new printer (maybe). As far as i am concerned this is borderline criminal. Someone should investigate this companys business practices. It will be sometime if ever i will trust Office Depot again.

Went to find a large binder, found a colorful one roamed around found more. While looking was asked if I needed help another customer said yes, however, associate never came back to see if I needed assistance. Checkout clerk was helpful in using my coupons.
If youre going here to print something, dont. They wont do it right the first time. If its not easy and simple, they dont want to do it or care how it turns out. Not worth the time. The only thing this place is good for is office supplies.
Such a bad service.1. I left my flash drive for them to print me blueprint, next day when I came over to pick up blueprints they told me that they lost my flash drive.2. 1 month after went there to make a copy of blueprint and young guy who was working there told me you can pick it up tomorrow at the same time. I went to pick them up next day and they are not done, no one even started to work on it, so now I have to spend my time and energy to drive there again and pick up the next day.They should hire people with little more brain to work in Office Depot specifically in this location.

I went and tried to mail a document sized envelope containing just that documents.... Took over an hour. They werent busy. Its because none of the 4 people coming and going that tried couldnt figure out how to use/ couldnt get their label maker to work and couldnt get the trackingnumber into system. Then after it finally worked they all walked away and I couldnt check out for another 20 min... never mailing anything here again.
The print center has been wonderful always willing to help. Thank you for such great service you provide.
I dont normally post reviews, but was so impressed by Joes help today getting me a new printer. He honored every sale item and made my shopping experience incredibly pleasant. Wonderful employees that seem to genuinely care about the customer experience.
This is a nice location and you cant beat a lot of their prices. I picked up a nice leather office chair for $100. Also love the 25 cent cart! Employees are nice and helpful. They could have a better selection of desktop computers though. I see way more at even Walmart.
Unbelievable when you do a comparison of the service provided from this location versus the Auburn location. This location employs professionals and they all appear to be very interested in helping consumers. I am extremely impressed by the Printing Service Department - I received a proof of my order allowing me to edify the typesetting if needed. I was given a phone call when my order was ready. When picking up my order, it was exactly what I wanted. Im extremely happy because when you customize an order, you want it done right the first time (unlike the Auburn location). So, Ill gladly make the drive from Auburn to Federal Way because Im appreciated as a customer. Also a big thanks to Crystal for helping me get over the edge of please dont screw my timecards because Auburn had screwed them up twice. Great service here!!!
Today I checked 3 different stores for a certain hardware computer part. All three stores claimed to have it in stock when checking their websites. Office Depot is was one of them. Not only did they not have that part, they didnt even sell that kind. Instead the politely pointed me towards the much more expensive overpriced one of similar nature. After some deliberation, finally coming to the conclusion of what the hell, might as well waiting in line for 20 minutes as the cashier argued with two other customers, only to be told that Heck, we dont even have that one!.Thanks a lot for all the help and wasted time, but this is the exact reason nobody shops at these stores and Amazon is becoming too big. Because honestly, you guys suck. Office Depot, Walmart, Best Buy, all of you. You just suck so bad. You could easily choose to not suck but you deliberately do the opposite.
Nice spot to stop if you need something quick. I needed a few things and didnt want to wait for shipping. Office Depot had what I needed for near the same price without the wait time or shipping cost.
This was the single strangest exchange Ive ever had in a retail store. Add to that, I asked for double sided copies and got single sided copies. Just a note to management: Your customers only want to get what you advertise. If you sell paper, have paper. If you sell printing services, have printing services. Thats all we expect. I didnt give a 1 star because It looks like a lack of training (basic or otherwise) more than anything. Still though, really strange interaction. Christ, so offputting.

Printing service saved my bacon on a small project when the whole online order system went bottoms up on me and the sideways to boot. T took time to help me out and set up my project before getting it ready and setting up to be back on schedule.
Unlike other Office Depots that I frequent for my printing needs while I travel for business needs, this location in Federal Way is always understaffed, unequipped to answer questions. Couple this with a lack of urgency and a general atmosphere of apathy...this is difficult place for me to continue to do my business.Its only due to it being in the same area as my hotel and meeting that I am here again.Please have your team here visit other locations I frequent (Kennewick, Portland, Bellingham) to observe what true guest service and willingness to assist their paying customers looks like.
Office Depot ripped me off returning $417.99 for a $549.98. The manager said he would return my purchase price but when I looked he only returned part of it.He said he would not accept my digital receipt and claimed they had no record of the transaction even though they searched the wrong month.I suspect someone here is skimming money from the store. I had the complete transaction from my bank on my smartphone in my hand and it showed everything - Date store address and amount.Both men claimed there no record of that large purchase.How is it possible unless they are lying or stealing from their corporation?

Placed an order hesitantly for boxes I needed and was reassured time and time again it would be delivered in two days. Without my knowledge the wearhouse changed that to 7 days and didnt call or email to let me know the status had changed. Courtesy email would have been nice, but had to figure out the hard way.
Large selection of office supplies, fair prices if you need something asap. Friendly customer service. Check their website before checking out as often prices are less than store prices, they will price match it.
DO NOT USE THE PRINTING SERVICES (for binding at least) HERE... We asked for a hundred or so pages of loose leaf paper to be bound and they lost the first page. In addition we had the backing cut off two books and bound together. Chunks of the book were photocopied onto new paper (felt and looked different than the rest of the book, and crooked). Once bound in spiral binding these books had many different sizes of pages and were not cut or bound correctly. While I was standing there, the lady who was trying to bind the books ran to the tape muttering I can fix this. She cut the holes 1/2 of the pages resulting in pages that were not well bound with the rest of the book. The only good part was that the manager refunded the whole price due to the books not looking good.
We had a office to set up and Joe Carter was so amazing. He went above and beyond with the computers and furniture. Couldnt be happier. THANKS JOE!!
I came to place an order for our dad funeral service schedule poster. One of the employees at the photo/printer place doesn’t seem to care much about our order. When I asked him when I could pick up the poster. He said later tonight or early next morning, and that he would give us a call. Our funeral service was the next day so it was urgent. We waited and waited. So the next day, my wife and I decided to stop by to complain. What was surprising that it was sitting there for a while. Another employee said he noticed that poster been sitting there all day yesterday but he didn’t know it belonged to someone or was there to be picked up by anyone.My relative have their poster done less than 1 hour. This employee shouldn’t take all day and if he did finished it he should at least give us a call when it was finished. Very disorganized!!! No communication between employee!! Bad services!!
I typically dont like to give bad reviews unless I am sure about the service or product I received was indeed the worst.If there was an option for zero stars I would definatelly opt for that.Called ahead of time spoke with Ashley about getting a signature stamp done. She asured me this Could be done on the spot and that they were dead so I drove from Easthill Kent to this Federal Way Office Depot location in traffic because I needed this stamp the same day. I get there and go directly to Ashley, she has me sign on a blank piece of paper, and less than 5 seconds later tells me Oh I cant get this done for you our machine is down as I was reminded her I had called ahead for this another gentleman tried fixing it and as I waited Ashley and a female co-worker are gigling about the fact that the machine is down right in front of me. By far THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! at the end the machine never worked and I wasted about an hour and a half of my day in front of 2 very unprofessional Office Depot employees. Needless to say NEVER will I step foot in an Office Depot again!

I do not know what happens to these people who like to speak badly of people think they are very high in knowledge but in reality, there is much more to understand than what customer service is. When I went, a man treated me very well and he told me more than I asked about a table and I felt very well attended.i loved this place and i always get what i need here. i dont know what is wrong with these people that say they have the WORSE CUSTOMER SERVIE lol, that is simply not true.
