So glad I stopped here while in town for the day! They had an elusive Warhammer 40k miniature I needed for my Sisters. I also scored some d4s for my DnD healing potions that matched my resin cast perfectly. I will definitely stop by again in the future!

Gear has always been a very welcoming game store full of friendly people. The recent move to a larger building has increased the amount of table space for social gaming while also making it comfortable to look through the many games available. I highly recommend coming in and looking around, the staff is helpful and kind.

Charged me 80 dollars over modern horizons 2 collectors booster box. Wish I checked online before purchase. Last time I assume a store is honest. Charging more than vintage stock on that item. Regret. If you wanted a good review you shoulda sold it to me for the 360 rate. I feel ripped off. Its just cardboard.

First, Im NOT a gamer of any kind. But I needed some gaming supplies for a Christmas gift and a friend sent me to Gear Gaming. The lady behind the counter with AMAZING rainbow Unicorn hair was fantastic. She helped me come up with a great gift package that was well received and thoroughly appreciated, and it was perfectly color coordinated which overcame my OCD anxiety that I walked into the store with. Glenn and his crew are being very careful during the pandemic and keep a clean, neat, safe store. I always find new and interesting games, and they have great Magic card recommendations when I am building a new deck. Theyre happy to order any games Id want if they dont have them in stock and the game usually arrives within a week or two.

Stopped by for my first visit and was impressed, staff was friendly and they have a wide variety of different products to choose from. Didnt get to stay and play but would love to go back when they have games going on.

I Used to go here a lot for Pokémon cards, but the owner is now charging 2-3 times the regular amount of Pokémon cards to “prevent scalping” which is totally wrong and contradictory. The store won’t limit orders or break the factory wrapping of products when purchasing Pokémon TCG products to prevent scalping as like other shops are doing. Now players and normal collectors have to suffer from their own local card shops since they are charging scalper prices as well. Sad time for Pokémon TCG.

This is an absolutely fantastic store, me and my family were able to go in and purchase everything we needed. They have an entire library of mtg cards, almost anything you need they have. They have great prices, and a wide variety of products. I recommend this store to anybody that plays Magic: The Gathering, and anybody that is looking for Warhammer or board game products!! The staff are super nice and helpful, and I will certainly be coming back.

I went into this store on my lunch break. The cashier acted annoyed when I asked where a product was. When I was checking out she stopped the transaction more than once to help her spouse with a problem with his phone charger. I will not return.

Gear is a great game/hobby store, that offers several game nights for RPG, Role-playing, & turn based tabletop miniature play. Very friendly and knowledgeable owners/staff can get any novice players into their game interests. A very large selection of Magic the Gathering inventory to choose from. Also the regular patrons are welcoming and helpful as well.Awesome atmosphere. And snacks!

My first time in was positive and the fellow that helped me was nice. Every subsequent time Ive come in has been awkward. I called one day to see if they were open, was told they were, and showed up to find the door locked and the lights off. This was within a few minutes of the call mind you. Id still recommend them if you can catch them while open. Great paint selection for miniatures.

Ive worked here for over 2+ years now, its my second home and family. I absolutely love going to work every day and getting to see everyone that comes in! We always try to do the best we can to grow/better the community.

Have only been there 2 separate occasions and I dont know if its just me but the environment isnt much of a welcoming one and the staff behaved very poorly in front of multiple potential customers. I generally dont have high standards for any kind of shop but theirs seemed to be relatively low.

Gear Gaming is a wonderful place to go to participate in magic the gathering tournaments. The people are great and very helpful to new people. The have a wide variety of board games and a wide variety of items you would need for magic the gathering and dungeons and dragons.

I’m just done with Gear Fayetteville. I try to support my local LGS, but it seems they don’t want to support me. I generally purchase orders online days in advance to make it easier on employees. My orders are never pulled when I arrive. I get the pleasure of watching someone get assistance (who didn’t bother with ordering online) and have their order pulled in front of me with no delay. The message that sends me is online orders are not a priority and walk-in orders are no problem. Every time I try to purchase cards online, there is always an issue. I purchased a copy of Mycosynth Lattice from Battlebond on their website, which was supposed to be near mint. When I arrived at the store, the order had not been pulled (as usual) and they claimed that they only had a heavily damaged Mycosynth Lattice from Darksteel. I was told that they never had a Battlebond copy to begin with and that I should be happy with the heavily damaged alt art copy for the same price. If you have an inventory discrepancy, the customer should get the benefit of the doubt. Many times they cannot find the cards they have listed for sale on their website (probably because they sold them to people just walking in as opposed to ordering online). How is it that I have a completely amazing experience at Gear Bentonville and a miserable experience at Fayetteville? I could endlessly rant about all the bad experiences I’ve had, but it doesn’t matter. It’s almost as if this review doesn’t matter because it won’t change. I’ve tried to support Gear Fayetteville, be a good customer, buy and not complain, be reasonable and rational, not expect too much from employees, cater and try and understand their business policies, but all I get from them is the middle finger and they don’t care.

A man walked in and bothered the main owner, he forced him to give a tour then the man picked up a hammer and smashed a perfectly good space invaders machine. definitely exciting! would recommend!

I bought a boardgame...Lancelot, while paying through on the way home to Texas, Im a boardgamer and I like supporting Mom and Pop stores. But paying $54 which once i got home found it at Target and Amazon for $15 made me sick. Talk about goauging your customers!! Sadly no way to return as I was just playing through.

Gears got 2 stores, this is the fville spot and its located behind the vetarans office. Owner is super chill and great when it comes to getting you a deal out of his suppliers. Magic nights are huge.

I have been going for about a month now and they are a perfect gaming store! Glen and the staff were very helpful and caring they treated me like they knew me and it felt like I was family there just good folk and deserve high praise for a great job, I couldnt get hooked on a game alone EVER but glen fit me in with some magic and sat down with me for three hours and played with me so if u want a gaming store this is the one
